Fantastic experience: Amanda did an amazing job on my teeth. She always makes going a pleasure. She informs me of the billing concerning costs and discounts., why certain procedures are necessary and seems to be very well informed. Costs have increased, but what hasn't. I haven't compared with other practices, but I feel comfortable with my hygienist and dentist.

Fantastic experience: Patuxent Dental is always friendly, gentle, and honest. Well worth the 3 hour drive across the Bay Bridge.

Fantastic experience: Patuxent Dental is an excellent dental office. It is very clean, inviting and extremely competent staff. Dr Khana is the best dentist I have ever seen. Shots always sting and hurt but Dr Khana has definitely crafted his skill on giving shots for those dental procedures, he is the best at this and the shots do not hurt. His recent equipment modernization for taking pictures of the upper and lower teeth is phenomenal. Dr Khana is a visionary with all of the state of the art dental equipment he has incorporated in his practice for his patients. His practice is a game changer for all dental visits whether its for teeth cleaning or other dental procedures.

Fantastic experience: They were fabulous! As a new patient coming in with a broken tooth and being new to the area - I was nervous. Everyone was so nice and kind and I will be coming back to be a regular patient. The doctor was so kind and really thorough letting me know exactly what I needed for future visits. The assistant was great with getting me several choices for my surgeon referrals. My husband and I are so glad we found this practice!

Negative experience: Dentist left my daughter with unfixable tooth and charged me $100 for her when she was legitimately too sick for another dentist in the practice to fix the tooth. They presented me with a form to consent to whatever the dentist deems necessary. Never going back.

Positive experience: Overall, my dental appointment went well. However, I was disappointed when I was told I had to wait 8 month (instead of 6) for my follow-up appointment. I want to maintain the schedule of getting my teeth cleaned twice a year.

Fantastic experience: Great service. I had a lot of issues to go through on my first visit and the staff was so patient and kind. Alyssa and Dr Khanna explained what was going on and made me feel heard and valued as a patient. The hygienist was super gentle!

Negative experience: Kristen is super nice and very attentive to my needs Unfortunately, Kristen has moved on and this is the second time That I’ve had to work with someone else, and they have told me it’s time for certain services, when in fact, according to my insurance company, it’s not. They perform the services whether the insurance covers it or not and send you a bill. Things seem to have changed over there. I used to be very happy but not anymore. I do not recommend them. That’s twice they’ve gone out of the scope of my insurance and then trying to bill me.

Fantastic experience: Excellent! Dr Khanna and staff are the best-ever! I have had many procedures performed by Dr Khanna and his staff at Patuxent Dental; and, I have never experienced any pain, discomfort or anxiety before, during or after all dental procedures! Amanda, my Dental Hygienist, was so informative and professional, carefully measuring and cleaning my teeth, and preparing me for my dental exam. Shane, at the Front Desk, was very professional, kind and so helpful. All equipment was state-of-art and top-notch!

Fantastic experience: I chipped 3 porcelain crowns. I told my old dentist that my bite was off and he said it was fine. I saw Dr Park and Jackie. What a wonderful team. Dr Park told me my bite was off. Go figure. Anyway, we are in the process of replacing the crowns. Dr Park adjusted my bite, we are making new crowns. They work together so well!! Jackie is knowledgeable and efficient! As a bonus, the office is beautiful!! Front desk very nice and efficient. By the way, my bite feels amazing for the first time in years. And my temporary crowns look amazing!

Fantastic experience: Patuxent Dental is a wonderful practice. I never have to wait more than 5 minutes to get seen, everyone is professional and friendly and the overall service is exceptional. I was a bit fearful I might have to find another dentist at the end of last year but somehow they worked it out to continue to take my insurance so I don't have to change. My hygienist, Aviya is awesome too. I've been going there for the past 4 years and never had a bad experience. Keep up the good work. Need a good dentist, I highly recommend Patuxent Dental.

Fantastic experience: Thursday, April 17th, 2024, Jackie and Sara took my plaque numbers which I asked what they meant (1, 2,3) and was happy to hear that means healthy gums!) Also, I learned from Sara that my flossing after every meal helped my gums so much that my cleaning was very quick! (Flossing teeth is mostly scraping off invisible plaque, and seems like a waste of time because you can't see it, but, my visits have become less and less painful and I am told that's why!!! So amazed that a little piece of string can prevent so much pain! Dr. Havland was also very helpful checking my teeth also said my gums looked so healthy that I asked him what else could I do besides brushing and flossing to help prevent plaque sticking to my teeth. His answer made a great impression on me-raw vegetables, fruits... I mentioned carrots, cabbage, which I like. He agreed. Amazing these too, would do a great scraping job, keeping plaque at bay, like raw apples, but with sensitive teeth, shredding vegetables makes them softer, really helps protect my teeth, and coming to this caring, practice, gives this patient, a new resolve to continue keeping up the good work by God's grace.

Fantastic experience: Monica was the most profssional Hygienist I've ever worked with. I have not been to the dentist in some time but she made me feel at ease at every step. I called a friend after vistising this office and told them I couldnt say enough great things about this office. I look forward to my next appointment. Negative experience: The staff is very friendly and they seem to accommodate your schedule the best they can. Unfortunately, watch out for payment stuff as they will let you walk out with random payments you're not supposed to have and then send you regular mail. Don't trust them entirely when they say your insurance will cover something either. If you check your mail regularly, cool. If not, expect to be surprised when you finally do.

Fantastic experience: My first visit to this dentist was today. All the communications dealing with the transfer of my records from my old dentist were timely and professional. The dentist office is high tech, clean, and very welcoming. Everyone was professional and knowledgeable. I was only there for a cleaning but I was very impressed.

Positive experience: I know I should not be picky, I was seen in under 24 hrs when a crown fell out… but the dr Odell seemed in a hurry, and put out when I asked to have the crown glues back in… worst of all, he did not check the fit, it is glues led on good and tight but to tall, making contact well ahead of any others… Dr.Khana is the best, I should have waited for him. Like I said, wouldn’t look the gift horse in the mouth, they did get me in but had I know I was putting them out by asking, I would have waited.

Negative experience: I would give it zero stars if it was possible. Had an appointment for 730 pulled in at 7:40 due to traffic and was told I can’t be seen. Mind that waiting room was empty and absolutely no one waiting. I sat in the parking lot for 15 minutes and no one even showed up , seems they would rather charge me for another appointment rather than working with the customer. So much for having good customer service :( . I experienced similar issues when I went in for a mouth guard. Took them 3 attempts to get the guard correct (3 tries, 3 separate trips to their office) kinda ironic how it’s ok for them to waste my time and make me take off work 3 times but be 10 min late and they don’t even try to work with the customer. Not to mention that they tried to pressure sell me a $3000 sleep apnea machine. When I told them I just wanted a mouth guard, the try to make you feel bad about not willing to spend 3k for their product. They are running a scam with their sleep study. Why is a dentist trying to sell you a sleep apnea machine that insurance companies won’t cover when you can go to an actual doctor (not a dentist) and have an actual doctor provide services covered by health insurance. They’re just in it for the money, and should be ashamed of themselves. I would avoid this dental office, there are other options that are better!
