Fantastic experience: This was the best experience I ever had at the Dentist. I am telling anyone who is willing to listen if you need a Dentist look no further Village Dental is simply the BEST!

Fantastic experience: I found the office staff to be pleasant , helpful and knowledgeable in matters relating to insurance coverage and scheduling. The dental assistants are greatly concerned with your comfort and safety. If you enter this office with a tooth problem all concerned work together solving the problem. The dentist is thorough and speak to you in a professional manner using terms this patient easily understood. My teeth felt great after my initial treatment. I would like to mention Juan,Kristina and Chloe for the outstanding service they provided me.

Negative experience: Village dental diagnosed a lot of dental work that, after I received a second opinion from a different dentist, I didn’t need. Please get a second opinion when they start diagnosing a significant number of crowns or other work that you have never needed before.

Negative experience: Had a good experience on my first visit but the quote I received for additional work was extremely expensive. So… good bye Village Dental at Edward’s Mill in Raleigh.

Fantastic experience: The staff is always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They explain procedures and check in with you along the way to ensure comfort.

Negative experience: I came here on my summer off of school after scheduling an X-ray, Exam, and cleaning. Not only did I have to wait an extra 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, but I was told that they wouldn’t be able to clean my teeth because of how busy they were which they shouldn’t have let me schedule for a cleaning if they weren’t going to clean my teeth. I spent more time waiting for someone to even come and talk to me than they did examining, x-raying, and cleaning my teeth all together. When they finally came in to examine my teeth, they continued to fear monger me about “possible infections” saying I “may need a crown, possible root canal” , with no certainty even after examining my teeth making me feel any operation is unnecessary, and started telling me they were going to give me special tooth paste and night guard without asking if I was willing to pay for it. The entire time I was there I did not feel like I was welcomed or had a choice in what they did and didn’t do. Needless to say, don’t schedule a cleaning because they won’t clean your teeth and just tell you that you need a million other operations.

Positive experience: The dental assistant Khalini was superb. The only thing I would say is that the dental hygienist Patricia was a bit rough on my gums. I can tolerate pain and usually don’t have issues but I left with sore gums and feeling like my teeth weren’t as clean as to when Gina cleans them. Gina is thorough and proficient as a hygienist and she has a great personality along with Khalini.

Fantastic experience: everyone was extremely nice and non-judgmental (haven’t been to the dentist since COVID). we went step by step thru the treatment plan, which was way less $$ than i thought it would be. would rec highly!!

Fantastic experience: The staff is one of the best, they listen to any and all concerns. They explain things throughly and are very polite. They are also not afraid to laugh with you or tell a joke. I have panic attacks when going to the dentist and when I explained that I was having one the assistant helped calm me. Very pleased with the staff and will refer in the future!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience which starts from front desk( the lady was awesome), the stuff was cool and helpful to Dr. Rauf who pulled my tooth out in less than 5 mins and pain was gone .I recommend this location and I’ll be back guys . Thanks again guys

Fantastic experience: I went to Village Dental for a cleaning appointment and as I discovered I also needed a tooth capped. I was very happy to have my tooth capped that same day. The whole staff was very professional, caring, and understanding of my needs. If your looking for dentist office that has a great staff and a solid reputation in the dentist industry, Village Dental Dentistry is the place to be.

Fantastic experience: I had the best Dental hygienist experience at Village Dental on Six Forks rd on 6.17.2025. Nia did an excellent job with my dental pictures, a process I hate. She was gentle and made that experience comfortable. She also cleaned my teeth and it was the best cleaning I'd ever had! She thoroughly cleaned each tooth and took her time. She was also thorough with flossing. I would highly urge anyone visiting this location to ask for Nia. She is AMAZING! Thank you Nia!

Fantastic experience: I was in a dental crisis today , and I received the most professional care today ! Dr. Rodriquez , Kristin, and Nicolette were awesome ! I have a Dentist , but that Dentist office never returned my call with my emergency today . This is now my new Dentist and I could not be happier! The care I received, that was quick, efficient, effective was hands down an amazing experience . I will be getting my entire family to switch to this office ! Fantastic experience: Been going here for nearly a decade and as much as I hate the dentist, I can say I've had anything but pleasurable visits here. Dr. Rodriguez truly cares about the people he works on, it's evident when you pay attention to how to assistants treat patients. Fantastic experience: This review is SOOOO late but this is THEE BEST place you could go. They are so compassionate and accommodating!! I’ve never been to a dentist office where I wasn’t judged for my teeth, except for here!! It was so touching, I could have cried… they treated me with such respect and dignity and kindness. This place is phenomenal. The service is phenomenal, they all go above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of and I can’t express just how grateful I am for what they did for me. I was in so much pain and NO ONE else would help me with my insurance, I would have had to wait 5 plus months before I could get help, but this place worked with my budget at a time I had no job, and was in a really rough place. Thank you guys so much!! From the bottom of my heart ❤️ You’re truly the best.

Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed going to village dental today! I had no wait, felt like all of the employees I came in contact with (Nicolette, Dr.Rodriguez, and Patricia) were all very knowledgeable, professional, and kind, and was out of there much faster than I expected. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: I am beyond pleased with my initial experience. I have a lot of work that needs to be done in the months ahead, and the entire team made me feel welcome, relaxed, and confident with what is to come. Dr. Rauf is going above and beyond with being precautionary and keeping me safe with my medical condition. Everyone made me feel a little less overwhelmed and anxious and more excited about the smile that I want to confidently show the world!

Negative experience: Convinced me to blow my savings on a procedure I really didn’t need and now my teeth bother me more than they ever did before. And the retainer they made me snapped in half after less than a year.

Fantastic experience: Village Dental is the perfect place for your teeth, appointments available the next day, the place is very clean, excellent care, and best of all, the diagnosis and x-rays are free, and if you don't have insurance, they offer payment plans that fit your budget. Personally, I highly recommend it.!!

Fantastic experience: This is the 3rd dentist I've tried since moving from NY to NC and by far the best experience. Starting with T'Nea who was wonderfully cheerful at the front desk, I got in very quickly. Kristina (dental assistant) took great care of me, taking my x-rays and a cleaning before Dr. Rauf finished up. I loved how transparent they were, having a large screen to show you then and there what your x-rays and mouth photos look like so they could show me why I may need certain things done. As a type A personality that grew up with a mother in the dental field, this was amazing. I also appreciated talking to their treatment plan coordinator, Kristen. We all know dental coverage can be a pain and so can not having insurance. She was personable, honest and knowledgeable about my payment options and treatment plans and was happy to send me emails regarding all of the information we discussed. All I can say, is I think I found my new dentist.

Negative experience: They are cooking the books on positive reviews. Look up this practice on Reddit or on Yelp. I went here for several years. During each visit, I was told I had a new and expensive problem. On my final visit I was told I needed multiple cavities filled and crowns. They tried to get me to book the treatment that day, but I declined. I opted to go to another dentist for a second opinion. They stated: "there is literally nothing wrong with your teeth. I would not drill into them for any reason right now. Someone just wanted a pool." Funny enough, at my new dentist I haven't had a single cavity.

Fantastic experience: The facility is always clean and welcoming. The staff members are warm, patient and understanding. They are the perfect example of service with a smile. I did an extraction and they did everything in their power to put me at ease, and make me feel safe. The procedure was professionally done and I’m going to continue my care there.

Fantastic experience: Went in after one of my crowns broke. Immediate availability and cleaning. They give free xrays for new patients & 20% off services if you join their membership ( including 2 free cleaning; $299.00 cost). I have not had my crown replaced yet, however, after meeting with the doctor and hygienist I don't anticipate any difficulties. ( w/Gds help). The staff were kind to my son & while they don't have a gift box for kids w/parents, the staff were very welcoming; a priceless gift to mom. Staff and doctor were very knowledgeable and took time to explain every step. I intend to have them fix/replace the broken crown.

Negative experience: I had work done here years ago when I moved to Raleigh in search of a new dentist. They charged me roughly 3k to get my dental work done as I didn’t have insurance at that time. I wish I would’ve gotten a 2nd opinion by my trusted dentist far away after reading reviews of them doing unnecessary work. One of the hygienist damaged my permanent retainer during a cleaning and the office refused to accept responsibility, making me pay out of pocket to fix it. I believe they offered a small discount but I had to STRONGLY advocate for it. The dentist who did my root canal, Dr. Rodriguez, left me with a misaligned bite and I was in so much pain until I was able to get back in that I had to take ibuprofen around the clock. I don’t trust this dentist office as it seems the quality of their work is not good and they have shady business/billing practices.

Negative experience: I’ve been a patient of Dr. Martin’s for 20+ years. Recently, I had my regular cleaning and x-rays. When I left the office, there was $0 balance as my insurance covers 2 cleanings and x-rays yearly. Today, I received a text stating I have a balance of $27, no statement or bill to verify these charges. When I called to inquire about the $27, they stated their exam was $10 over my insurance rate and 3 separate x-rays were an additional $5 or $6 dollars each. None of these possible charges were presented to me nor has my insurance not covered the full amount. I spent thousands out-of-pocket last year and who knows how much over the years. To be nickel & dimed is insulting. I will no longer be a patient of Village Dental. Such a shame to lose a loyal customer over $27.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been with Village Dental for three years. Every visit is so smooth and everyone is very kind and helpful! Today was no different. Christina was fabulous taking my annual xrays, flossing and prepping me for my exam today. There was zero discomfort and she kept open communication the entire time! The dental hygienist and dentist were fast and efficient and I left with a beautiful smile for another six months. I do not have the perfect teeth and before this location, I always felt very self conscious going into a dental office. This place makes me feel like a valued patient without pressuring me to make any changes cosmetically unless I want to open that door. I cannot recommend this location more!

Fantastic experience: November 2020:I had avoided having dental work done for almost 30 years because of a traumatic experience with another dental practice. Ultimately, the time came to have work done and I began the search; the first and foremost requirement was sedation and thanks to Google, I was able to find Village Dental of North Raleigh. Dr. Gonzales is fantastic and the entire staff is very caring. I am looking forward to completing my treatment plan within the next three months and having a beautiful smile again. I will be moving to the beach within the next 18 months but I will return to the North Raleigh office for all my work in the future. I would recommend everyone to become a patient at Village Dental. January 2023: Although I have moved three hours away to South Carolina, I will drive the three hours to have my cleanings and any adjustments to my partials with no hesitation. Village Dental is the only dentist I will use. April 2025: Once again I made my 3 hour drive from SC to have my teeth cleaned and be fitted for a larger retainer. I will not use another dental practice; ever.

Fantastic experience: This place treats you like family and they have a heart in the service I have never liked the dentist it's costly, it's scary, and it normally feels you have no control. This place makes me happy to spend my money here and the treatment Top Notch. The comfort they provide from actions to design is unmatched. They can handle my not so great teeth with giving me the feeling of autonomy and comfort. They even when seeing me scramble because I was just a little short for an emergency procedure to save a tooth took off enough to make it within budget. This office has changed my opinion of dental care and I genuinely look forward to my visits. PS if you never had dental work with the gas and headphones. It's almost relaxing other then the smell of tooth being ground down lol. They even gave me a blanket! They can do the bigger work here as well when I have been charged by other dental chains just to be sent to spend money at a partner service for them. My time and money are valuable and they know how to use it. One stop business for dental health. I drive an hour just to come here!

Fantastic experience: My son and I both had such a great experience at Village Dental today. I haven’t been to the dentist in quite some time, so naturally I was a bit nervous. But the staff were all super friendly and made us both feel comfortable and at ease. They were very thorough in addressing our needs and concerns and went over our care plans several times to make sure we understood everything from start to finish. The office is beautiful and very clean. I’m so glad we found them!

Fantastic experience: My elderly mother had a dental emergency midday today. Her regular dentist is closed on Fridays so I Googled Emergency Dentist. Village Dental came up and had so many great reviews that I called them. They were able to see her same day and from start to finish this was a fantastic experience. Everyone we interacted with was so incredibly friendly and helpful. They were great with Mom and were able to perform a same-day procedure after the initial exam. It couldn’t have gone any better given Mom’s complex dental issues. Big shout out to Britney who really made Mom comfortable during the extractions with a perfect combination of compassion, support, and humor. If I was in the market for a dentist I would most definitely choose Village Dental!

Fantastic experience: Visited Village Dental on Monday and it went great! Anna really did a great job answering my questions about my X-rays and potential dental needs. Jean was very thorough and caring -she’s probably the best hygienist I’ve ever been treated by. It was also nice chatting with Dr. Rauf. Once again, an excellent dental experience at Village Dental! My first treatment with Village Dental went great! I was a little nervous about sedation, but my sedation consult with Matt reassured me. Jean and Brittany did great jobs cleaning and filling my teeth - I can brush my teeth without pain for the first time in years! It was really nice that Dr. Valencia checked on me a few days later. I had a great experience and really appreciate the way the team at Village Dental looked after me! I really enjoyed my initial visit to Village Dental. It was fun! Allandra was great-she was gentle and thorough and helped me understand my X-rays and the treatment needed. She’s got a great sense of humor- we laughed a lot! I’m really looking forward to continuing dental care at Village Dental.

Fantastic experience: First time visiting a Dentist in years due to financial difficulties and the staff were very understanding and didn’t judge me. I have complete confidence that this company will help me develop healthier habits. I also really appreciated the discount on the cleaning. My insurance didn’t provide any out of network benefits, so I had to pay for my cleaning. They gave me a new patient discount and saved me a lot of money. Yesterday, I applied for my Employee Health Benefits at work. Once my insurance comes through, I’m definitely using this company for my dental hygiene.

Negative experience: I had a disappointing experience at Village Family Dental. The hygienist and dental assistant were absolutely wonderful—kind, professional, and attentive. However, my visit was completely ruined by Dr. Valencia, whom I saw last. I came in for a cleaning and learning more about bonding or veneers, expecting a discussion about my options. Instead, Dr. Valencia abruptly walked out after stating she wouldn’t do it, without any thorough explanation or willingness to explore alternatives. Her dismissive attitude made me feel unheard and disrespected as a patient. It’s unfortunate because the rest of the staff was fantastic, but a doctor’s professionalism and communication matter just as much. If you’re looking for a provider who values patient care and transparency, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I had a scheduled regular cleaning at 8:00 this morning they went over with me the plan and told what to except, It was very easy and painless, Than they checked the records and saw I was over due for 4 fillings on the front teeth I had forgot about from a previous visit, so thay could not take care of it right away thay told me to come back at 12:50 since thay had already scheduled several other special treatments in front of me.I am very nerves about any dental work , but thay made me fell very comfortable , got me a blanket , fan and earphones to relax me . The whole process was smooth and went great had special doctors to look over me to insure my safety. I love that place and would recommend them for anyone and if your anxiety or nervous this is the place for you to go because they make it all go away very professional friendly place to get any type of dental work done work done!

Fantastic experience: First time visit today and couldn’t be happier that I made the decision to go here. Miranda, Allandra and Dr. Valencia made me feel right at home, like I had been a patient there for years. I’m very excited to have them all be a part of my care team!

Negative experience: My husband went to this dentist to get fillings on 4 cavities and 2 of them were very small. BUT they mistakenly drilled and filled a healthy tooth instead of one of the cavities. When they realized their mistake, they filled the correct cavities, resulting in unnecessary work on a 5TH tooth. HE LOST A HEALTHY TOOTH RESULTING THIS. This kind of carelessness is unacceptable and has left us very upset. A dentist should prioritize accuracy and patient trust, but this experience showed a serious lack of professionalism. I WOULD NEVER TRUST A DENTIST WHO DOESN'T RECOGNIZE WHICH TOOTH TO FILL. Also, they did all of 5 fillings at the same time at both side of his jaws. He could not open his mouth and eat properly for a week. We do not recommend this place to anyone looking for reliable dental care.

Fantastic experience: This Dental Practice is beyond the best in professionalism. The respect and kindness shown to myself and my husband on every visit is commendable. We have been patients at the Village Dental North office for going on 2 years now. We had some very extraordinary and extensive dental issues. But we found expert help from one of most knowledgeable dentist in this office who took on the challenge without hesitation..,it took many visits to have our dental issues corrected but the treatment plans were always explained and why the procedure were needed . We have been fortunately blessed to have found Village Dental in our time of distress. Negative experience: The worst place ever! I sent my friends and family there and absolutely regretted it! My mom ends up in the emergency room after their procedure. I have to come back twice and still unhappy with my results, if you want to avoid unprofessional dental procedures please, please avoid this place! My friend looses 3 tooth due to their unprofessional work. Meanwhile other dentist were told her that she can avoid extraction of 3 tooth and save at least 2. Definitely will plan to sue this place! Awful experience!

Fantastic experience: The experience was great. It’s Christmas and I know they were really busy, but they put aside a little time for me to fix my dentures. Village dental North I want to tell you thank you so much because I don’t think that I could have went on the cruise without y’all. Fantastic experience: The office was very warm and welcoming. The staff was very friendly and took the time to listen to my concerns. Faith was a lady who helped us come up with our plan, and helped us keep in a reasonable budget. Overall, I’m excited to continue my dental work through them over the next six months

Fantastic experience: My second time visiting Village dental went in to get my wisdom tooth pulled. Had some anxiety at first but Brittney was the best she made me feel comfortable and she was so friendly you could tell she really enjoys what she does as well as her job. Dr. Rodriguez was friendly as well by making sure I was comfortable before he proceeded with pulling my tooth. I enjoyed my experience at Village dental from the time I walked inside until the time I paid for my services and left. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to say that the ladies at Village Dental- North Raleigh is THE place to go with any dental troubles. I was going through the most excruciating pain that you could ever imagine 15/10 and was in need of a same day root canal ! I called and was able to be seen the SAME DAY ! Thanks to Nicole ! I was then greeted by the lovely Nicolette who explained and reassured me about my X-Rays and what would be needed. Next was the beautiful and gentle spirit Dr. Valencia A-Freaking Mazing ! She came in and empathized with my pain and let me know that she was going to do everything to save my tooth! I was assisted by the sweetest and most understanding Tiffany with my finances. She really assisted me in making sure not only that I could afford what was needed but also making sure I would leave that office with NO PAIN ! Lastly was Brittany my dental assistant who calmed me all the way down and was so thorough in prepping me and informing me on what to expect! Something that has such a bad name was the best experience I could have at a Dental Office ! These ladies are TOP NOTCH and I hope they know they will always be my Dental Fam . Fantastic experience: Was recommended this place by a work buddy due to my severe anxiety about dentists and was pleasantly surprised, on my initial visit/exam I was treated very kindly by Elysa, who helped me by explaining any questions I had, and ensuring that comfort was the main goal of this dentistry. My treatment coordinator, Faith, was very helpful and a joy to speak with while setting up my extractions, which also were done very well and have had no issues so far. I definitely recommend it to people who are anxious about the dentist as it is the friendliest one I’ve been to, and will be continuing to go to.

Fantastic experience: I visited the North Raleigh location earlier this year, very nice office. I ended up having to find a location closer to my home, but I will say that I appreciated the interaction with the office staff. Mainly Ayaris. I was greeted with a warm smile when I walked into the office. I also appreciated how I was fully informed of everything that I needed prior to my appointment and also directed to the proper channels when I had questions after my appointment.

Even if you’re not in network with them they will work with you. They also helped my father with less than 2 hours notice. Amazing.

Fantastic experience: The nicest dental practice I've ever visited. The front desk staff is so warm and friendly and all the hygienists and dentists I've encountered have been wonderful. I've only visited a few times but needed to get some work done today and it was the least painful dental work I've had. Very happy to have found this practice, I feel they are much more patient-focused, organized and trustworthy than the other dentist I was visiting previously in town. Also the lobby is so cozy and nice!
