Positive experience: ABC Dentistry is good but I have some billing and insurance issues that I have been trying to get resolved for over 2 months and they are no where even close to being resolved. This takes away from the services received. I have been thinking of going some where else if this does not get resolved very soon.

Your insurance ran the claim incorrectly twice, but feel we have reached a resolution with them and it should be corrected within a week to 10 days.

Negative experience: After researching dentists I decided to take my 5 year old son here. The cleaning went ok with no complaints. Then they x rayed him which was a disaster. They shoved a ping pong ball x ray into his mouth 4-5 times until he was in tears. At this point they attempted an alternative method. They attempted the alternative method after 5 failed tries and making their patient cry. Then the dentist saw my son and proceeded to shame me because my son had cavities. Dr. Alexa Pulli spoke to me in a condescending manner because my son had cavities. She proceeded to tell me how easy it is to get a 5 year old boy to brush their teeth. If that wasn't bad enough my wife called her and experienced more of the same talking down to pretty much questioning our pediatrician and parenting. Her attitude lost a patient. Be aware of her attitude if she is your child's dentist because it took me by total surprise to have a medical professional speak to me in that matter.

Fantastic experience: I had a really wonderful first experience. The hygienist took time to show me around the office. The dentist was friendly and introduced herself. There were no gimmicks or pressure to do “additional” treatments. The billing office told me in advance that I was out-of-network and what the process would be.

Fantastic experience: The dental hygienist, Jasmine, was absolutely fantastic. She did an extremely thorough job and answered all my questions and also made me feel very comfortable about my treatment plans and about oral care. I will ask for her again in six months, again she was terrific.

Fantastic experience: We have been bringing my kids here since 2021 and even today, 4 years later, I am still blown away at the amazing experience we have every single time. We started going here when we experienced a dental emergency. My daughter fell and knocked her tooth in the tub at age 2. They got us in that same day right in the morning, even as new clients, and helped pull her tooth. Four years later, I am still grateful for them when we leave an appointment. They are VERY good with children, making the whole experience seamless; in fact, my kids never want to leave when it’s time to go. From the friendly and engaging waiting room, to the super friendly staff that take the opportunity to kindly teach my daughters about every instrument they use, to the prize box and fish on the way out. The whole experience is the best you’ll get when visiting a medical office! At our January apt we even witnessed them supporting a child with autism through their appointment, and I was very impressed at their demeanor. Today, Natalie was SO kind and helpful with both of my daughters, as were the rest of the staff that I just didn’t catch names for. I would HIGHLY recommend this practice for anyone looking.

Negative experience: We chose ABC Dentistry because they promised to fix my son’s painful tooth on the first visit. We took a day off work and pulled my son from school, only for them to break that promise and do nothing for his pain. They admitted they couldn’t deliver but thought a simple “sorry” would fix our wasted day and my son’s discomfort. The staff showed no concern or effort to resolve the issue. To top it off, their prices are significantly higher than other local dentists—check elsewhere before booking. This was a frustrating and unacceptable experience, and I strongly advise other parents to avoid this practice.

At ABC Dentistry, we strive to provide timely, compassionate care—especially when a patient is in pain. While some urgent dental cases require additional evaluation or treatment planning that may not be completed in a single visit, we regret if our communication led you to expect otherwise.
We’re also disappointed to hear that you felt our team showed a lack of concern, in fact the assistant that was translating was very upset about the interaction. Our philosophy is that every family feels heard, supported, and cared for from the moment they walk in and this particular assistant is compassionate and dedicated to excellent patient care.
Regarding fees, we understand cost is an important factor for families. Our fees reflect the quality of materials, technology, and time invested in each patient's care, but we respect that every family has the right to choose what’s best for them. Fantastic experience: My son saw Dr. Brodersen. She was good. He needed some extensive work. She explained everything well and answered all my questions. They had plenty of visual aids ready to go. I felt like they were thorough. The office seemed clean and the hygienist seemed friendly and good with kids. My son really liked the fish tank and the activities in the waiting area.

Fantastic experience: My experience was amazing. I chose ABC on the advice of a friend and I was not disappointed. Everybody was very nice. The atmosphere is amazing. It’s a beautiful office, very calming. There are more than enough people to take care of you and make sure that you have everything that you need. The hygienists and doctors are very knowledgeable. They explain everything to you. They suggest whatever needs to be done without being pushy and trying to talk you into anything. I am so glad I made the switch!

Fantastic experience: We visited the ABC today for my son’s swollen cheek and toothache. From the very first moment until we leave the dental store, everybody was super professional, helpful and friendly. We were checked in, consulted, and treated very smoothly. Dt. Samantha welcomed my son with a radiant comforting smile, explained everything thoroughly and set up a treatment plan not only for the infected tooth but also for other teeth that need treatment. I think we have found the right dental clinic in IL. They accept delta dental insurance. Highly recommended! They are children friendly as well:)

Negative experience: For the first time in 18 years of being a client. I’m giving a poor review. I’m severely questioning my “loyalty” to them. Their bedside manner needs improvement and it starts with the front ladies.

Fantastic experience: Taking 3 children to the dentist is seamless with ABC Dentristy. They always have my kids stations ready to go when we arrive and are so amazing with my kids. Regina one of the hygienists was so patient with my son when attempting XRays multiple times. Dr. B is the best and has the patience of a saint. Negative experience: Firstly, they're listed as providers for Medicaid insurance, so I made appointments for my kids online. I went through that whole process just to be told the day of my appointments that they dont accept medicaid? Well, clearly, Medicaid isn't aware you dont accept it! Maybe make a note of this online or something instead of having people waste their time. Update: they called me to blame me, saying it's posted online, which insurances they take. If my insurance says it's within coverage, why would I check on the site? Maybe the miscommunication with Medicaid it's not the customers fault.
Kat, we apologize that you are frustrated with your insurance provider. It is unfortunate that Medicaid has us as listed providers, we have been unable over the years to have this removed. When you were on our website to book the appointment, it clearly states in the insurance section that the only insurance that we are in network with is Delta Dental Premier. We called you shortly after you booked the appointment to discuss your insurance, but you did not answer your phone. We communicated with you several times via text as well, shortly after the appointment was made, to provide you with the information that you are frustrated with. To be clear you booked the appointment at 4pm for an appointment the next morning. We made every effort to contact you to rectify the situation and provide you with our fees in a timely manner, we again are sorry that Medicaid provided you with false information.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Alexa was so good with my 2 year old son. This was his first time ever going to the Dentist and he cried and tried to keep his mouth closed but she was quick but thorough and did great.

Fantastic experience: This is the place to go! First, I love the email & text reminders. If you’re like me with a busy schedule and balancing multiple schedules in your day…reminders are imperative to success. And then, their dental technicians are all skilled and very nice (today, I barely noticed I was getting my teeth cleaned…honest!) I always enjoy friendly banter, but the entire staff are all friendly. It’s a pleasant experience, even though it’s the “dentist”. Just go!

Fantastic experience: We have been bringing our son to Dr. Hill for the last 5 years. The office, staff, and Dr. Hill are all incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. Every single time we called after hours, she was available and helped us right away. She adjusted her schedule and made herself available for more complicated treatments at a nearby hospital when we had to do complex extractions. Positive experience: Great service by the Dr and the assistance. My kid really enjoyed the visit. They differently made it kid friendly Unfortunately I have to give a 3 star due to the recepenist as they lied multiple times about the future appointment availability. It would have been a 5 start if just did get job as well as the others.

Fantastic experience: Have been going here for 6 years now for myself, wife and 2 kids. Have had nothing but good experiences. They work well with kids. Office is warm and inviting. There are things to do for kids while waiting for their appointment. Appointments have always been on time. Had to cancel an appointment a few days- prior and did it right through the phone and was actually able to pick up a new appointment just as quick

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter to for a tooth extraction, and the experience was amazing from start to finish. My daughter didn’t feel any pain during the procedure and actually left excited to come back! The entire staff was incredibly kind and made her feel completely at ease. The lady in charge of finances explained everything clearly, leaving me with no questions or concerns. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Fantastic experience: My experience was really great. The hygienist and doctor were so kind and helpful when I had an emergency cavity fill and I was able to get an appointment the very next day. They were able to help me with no pain at all! They did a wonderful job and they should be recognized for their amazing service and how down to earth they are compared to other dentists I've had in the past that had no communication skills or warmth to make you feel welcome. Fantastic experience: Dr Sam has been seeing my child since age 1. We have been there a couple times now and everytime Dr Sam is patient and caring with my child. It’s no easy task to clean and examine toddler teeth! I would recommend this office and especially Dr. Sam to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist.

Fantastic experience: We needed an emergency dental visit after not being able to get ahold of our daughter's primary dental office. After 24 hours of reaching out I finally gave up and looked around and found this place. Our daughter is autistic and she loved every minute of the experience when she walked in. They were really attentive to her and made sure she was comfortable. This is our daughter's new primary dentist after today. Thank you all, much appreciated!

Fantastic experience: Everybody was kind, generous and patient. They didn’t rush me in and out. The dentist took the time to explain everything to me, show me and pictures so that I would understand it.
