From the wonderful staff at the front desk, who were very helpful and those who checked on my insurance to see if I was covered and this was all before I even had the actual appointment. This was my second time for a visit. I was informed of what to expect the hygienist came and got me - she explained everything prior to cleaning my teeth. She did a wonderful job. I feel the staff at 209 Dental are very kind and helpful.

Negative experience: Complete disappointment. Their website says they offer walk-ins and no appointment is needed. I made time, walked all the way there, only to be told I need to book an exam. Why? I already have a retainer mold — I just need a new retainer made. My teeth are perfectly fine, I take care of them, I don’t need a check-up. This makes absolutely no sense. Why would I need an exam for a ready-made mold? Total waste of time and zero logic. No respect for people’s time. I do not recommend this place.

He also somehow gave me Novocain shots in such a gentle manner that I barely felt them. He communicated clearly throughout the procedure so I always knew what was happening. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I started working with Dr Ifraimov and Dr Wang at 209 Dental in 2022. I was in need of full mouth restoration for both my top and bottom teeth. While the process was a long undertaking due to my many past dental issues, I could not be happier with the end result. Dr Ifraimov and his team's communication throughout the process has lessened the stress and helped guide me throughout the dental work. The ongoing and continued dedication to making my teeth and smile the best possible for the long term was vital in earning my trust, which is not easy ! Fantastic experience: I went to 209 NYC Dental to pick up a dental insert and as usual, there was not a long wait. I saw Dr. Reddy and her assistant, William. Dr. Reddy explained the dental insert for me, showed me how to use it with great patience and kindness. I felt at ease and she even let me practice using the insert to make sure I knew how to do it. And she explained everything to me and said that if I experienced any discomfort, I could come back, and they'd assist me. I'm so thankful that I was led to this practice. I am very happy with my device because I had a crown pop out and hoped they could help me replace it. I have a temporary insert, and I'm thrilled that during a big meeting at work, no one will notice the missing crown. I went to see them on a Saturday (06-21-25) and had the replacement which they created on site, by Monday, 06-23-25. Wow. Talk about excellent service. They are a Godsend, and I feel that finding them was indeed divine intervention as God knew I was in distress. 208 NYC Dental is amazing. Oh, and they accidentally charged me for a cleaning and when I told them that, the receptionist said I'd have my check on Monday when I arrived for my insert. And she had it ready for me as promised! I was thrilled for the insert and the check! Go there if you want to be treated with respect, dignity (by everyone), compassion and empathy. I have dental anxiety every time, but I feel they will always put me at ease. No dental office is inexpensive but here, they are professionals and yet warm and compassionate. That helps a lot. Lastly, that they are open on weekend means I didn't have to miss work. Wooo hooo!!!!

Then I felt lucky to have been assigned to Dr. Stella Park whose utmost attentiveness and understanding stood out over other dentist visits in the past. Procedures were clearly laid out before and during the process which felt calming. She'll not only listen to your detailed concerns but will also point out issues you hadn't considered in a professional yet friendly tone. Seek her out if you're looking for a dentist who prioritizes your or your kids' interests with transparency and care. The dental assistant Aaliyah was awesome as well. She guided through the multiple x-rays and other preps with consideration and clarity which made the process easy. Even the steps after the treatments were smooth during which prescription arrangements, billing, scheduling were done smoothly. It was memorable to have gone through such a seamless experience where everyone helping you was friendly and efficient.

Negative experience: I am truly disappointed with the service that I received from Dr. Chiyoon Ahn for a root canal. When I walked into the exam room, the first thing that he said was, " I am doing 1 root canal today" before he briefly left the room. His dental assistant then brought in a paper for me to inital and sign. Dr. Ahn didn't even introduce himself or provide any insight on the procedure being done, or simply ask if I had any questions or concerns. After Dr. Ahn began to put a little topical anesthesia gel via swab to the area to be worked on before administering the needle, i asked for a little more gel so that the area would be really numb since I have a fear of needles. I asked for a minute to get myself prepared for the needle and procedure. Dr. Ahn showed no concern or empathy and his response was cold as he said that i would feel pain. He seemed a little bothered that I even asked for more gel (which he did not give me) and for the minute that i asked for to prepare myself for the needle amd procedure. I then mentioned that he performed a previous root canal for me 2 years ago. He then said to let him know if I felt any pain and to not be nervous. I know that alot can happen or change over time. But, 2 years ago Dr. Ahn seemed like a completely different person. He made you feel comfortable, he explained what he doing every step of the way and addressed any concerns or fears. Today, he showed none of that. After the procedure he sent me on my way without even mentioning the aftercare for a root canal or even suggesting a resolve for pain. Exactly one hour after the root canal was done, I experienced excruciating pain that is still ongoing nine hours later.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ifraimov made me a new retainer set in <15 minutes. He has a great beside manner, and best of all, they do it for a super reasonable price. I’d go here if they were in-network on my dental plan!

The dentist and assistant were so considerate and made the whole process extremely comfortable. I had one small cavity and they filled it then and there. Negative experience: I went there a few months ago and had called a few times before to really make sure they take my insurance. When I went there to do an annual exam and a cleaning they confirmed again they are in network. The cleaning was okay, as well as the exam. A few moths later I got a bill (I was very surprised to say the least!) for a few hundred $$$! I couldn’t believe it. It should have been for free! It turned out they were not in network with my insurance. Needless to say I won’t be going back!

Fantastic experience: Recently saw Dr. Shargel for a dental implant consultation and so happy to have found him and 209 NYC. He was extremely thorough in answering all my questions about the procedure including expected cost. I did not feel like I was being pressured towards unnecessary services which was a welcome relief that I haven’t had with prior dental providers. In the end his recommendation was slightly different than my expectations but, he was humble and gracious enough to refer me to an oral surgeon for a second opinion as well. After consulting with the oral surgeon who was also excellent - I have decided to move forward with Dr. Shargel’s recco and am excited to have a tooth replaced that I have been missing for more than half my life. Additionally, Lizbeth was excellent at managing all of my billing and insurance questions. Looking forward to having all my dental needs taken care of at 209 NYC.

Negative experience: It was great to come for an emergency replacement of an onlay on a holiday during the pandemic. The dentist was Lizzy Hobar, who was wonderful but unfortunately moved on and left. This year I called about a tiny procedure, literally to replace a tiny sliver of the onlay that had been accidentally shaved off by another dentist. No emergency; no dental health issue. The receptionist concealed the 125$ "emergency fee" when she gave the appt. Until I called on the day of and asked to be sure there would be no unnecessary X-rays taken and she said she might need some for treatment?? (Receptionist either didn't listen to my explanation of the dental issue or has no clue about basic dental procedures; either scenario is exasperating!) So because of that and the ridiculous fee (I had waited 5 days for the appt. already, so it was obviously not an "emergency"!) I canceled. They sent me a text saying they would charge a $75 cancelation fee for a future rescheduling. I wouldn't dream of it! The office people at least, are extortionists!

Fantastic experience: Good service. As you walk in, there is always someone available to assist you and register you. The dentists that I had to deal with were all very pleasant, informative and helpful and so were the Receptionists.

Fantastic experience: I arrived for my 830 and was seen in less than 5 minutes. Promptly received my fill in. I usually have issues getting numb, however the young lady did an excellent job. Im very please with service every time i go. When it comes to oral health, professionalism and doctors experience matters way more than a price tag.

The office atmosphere is comforting which is important to me as I have a bit of dental anxiety. The front desk team and technician were personable, timely, thoughtful and responsive. I do love my Austin dentist but after being cared for at 209NYCDental, I want to move to NY even more - they made me feel like I was home vs like a stranger traveling through that they’d never see again!!

Negative experience: walked in for my appointment and they waited til i got there to tell me that it was canceled. They said it was because of paperwork, even though i sent it in days before. staff didnt seem to care and brushed it off and said there was no way i could get a cleaning that day. truly ridiculous . then i got a text 8 hours after i went in about it being cancelled.

Fantastic experience: I was in an accident and needed urgent dental help. I was quickly able to book an appointment the next day with Dr. Stella Park. I want to begin by saying that she is one of the most compassionate doctors I've seen. She took the time to ensure every tooth was okay and did a very thorough check up. She was very careful with her treatment, and I could not be happier with the end result. She went above and beyond in making sure I was ok, and I highly highly recommend her to anyone else with dental needs. Also, the entire staff at 209 was very friendly and made me feel comfortable!

Fantastic experience: I took some time before writing this review to fully evaluate the service I received. In October 2023, I experienced a fall that resulted in the chipping of my two front teeth. After conducting thorough research, I chose to seek treatment from 209 NYC Dental. The staff is very kind, and took the time to explain the various aspects and implications of the procedures in detail. I would like to extend my special appreciation to Dr. Stella Park. Her competence and skill as a dentist are truly commendable. She is meticulous in her work and exhibits genuine care for her patients, always recommending the most suitable treatment options. Dr. Park dedicated ample time to repair my teeth, and they look brand new! I am extremely satisfied with the results and would highly recommend her services. Prices are reasonable.

Fantastic experience: Visting NYC on a business trip and my tooth broke eating breakfast. Found 209 NYC Dental via Google and was in there office within an hour. From the front desk to my consultation the team were fantastic. Dr Reddy, explained one of my crowns had broken, cleaned it all up, scanned for a new one and 2 days later, you wouldn't know it had happened. Thank you for the great service and reasonable pricing.

Fantastic experience: I found 209 NYC Dental on a Facebook thread after my dentist died and I had to find a new dentist. I'm very sensitive to dentists who push to get unnecessary work done (had a guy redo all my fillings and one of them ended up messing up a nerve and I ended up having to get a root canal). The hygienist was great with working with me through all the scraping, and the gum numbing gel was fantastic since I hadn't gotten my teeth cleaned in 15 months. At the end, I met with the dentist, who said everything looked great. He asked me if I had ever thought about Invisalign because I had some crowding, I said no, he said okay, and that was that. And THAT is all I need to give this place a 5 star review and go back in 6 months!

Fantastic experience: I came here for a check up (ended up fixing and doing some fillings) and had such an amazing experience and really recommend Dr. Park. She was soooo understanding, really heard me out, and helped me fix an insecurity I had for a long time with my teeth that every doctor even denied was even possible! Going to the dentist could be scary but it felt very comfy with her and I am glad to go back to someone I can trust!

Fantastic experience: I want to start by saying that these guys are fantastic and super honest. I had a retreat root canal at the office from another practice somewhere else in the city, they were upfront and told me that I could also choose for the option to remove the tooth and put an implant instead of trying to save the tooth, as there was a risk of not working. I should have probably chosen to extract the tooth in fact. As the retreat didn't work and got infected. Dr Wang was extremely generous and gave me a credit towards the extraction and the implant which is so generous of him. I highly recommend the practice, they are really good and professional. you should definitely go there for all your teeth matters.

Negative experience: Updated review: I would never recommend this place or choose to go to this dental practice today. (It used to be a very different place). Their customer service, organization, and office accountability have gone way downhill. They have made me wait for over an hour the last few times I have been here. They also charge crazy amounts for any and every service and have a very rude secretarial staff. Go elsewhere and save yourself from being frustrated. Do not go to this dental practice. Old review: One stop shopping for all dental needs. Dr. Ifraimov is a lovely and talented cosmetic dentist and the work done here is good quality. The overall customer service experience has gone downhill since new management took over the office within the last year. They have made numerous mistakes on my account and charged me for visits i never had. They used to be reasonably priced, but new management has changed that and the entire vibe of the office. I used to recommend this office to everyone but now i hesitate to do so.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Beniamin Ifraimov possesses extensive knowledge and dedicates ample time to his patients, avoiding any rush during appointments. He is also exceptionally honest with his patients. One can trust him to recommend the treatment that is best for the patient, but not for his own financial interests. He belongs to the almost extinct species: a MEDICAL DOCTOR—full stop—rather than a medical doctor-businessman.
