Negative experience: Appt was at 1015, I got here at 10am, checked in, did all the forms the night before as requested, had to do the forms again. Then sat for almost an hour, get sat in room, nurse asks same questions I already filled out online and paper again. It's now 12 noon and I still haven't been seen. This is just a simple annual review. Changing doctors after this appointment

Negative experience: I Be calling once they pick up the phone they are very rude ,loud & laughing. I can't even put a word in. Very unprofessional. After me calling many times back to back. They hang up. Is very frustrating to deal with unprofessional people. They need to go back to the guide lines & learn a little more.

She is extremely knowledgeable and she shows you that your health matters. My PCP retired & I was afraid to establish care with another provider. She is simply amazing GEM in this facility.Keep up your great work Dr. Thermezy! The checkin personel was great as well, that is the main reason for giving 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to chi Doris Ison location for over 30 years. It's a one stop shop type of place meaning I get everything I need in one visit. The staff are very understanding and always willing to help you accomplish your needs. The doctors take their time to hear you out with all of your complaints and concerns. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my care.

From the very first visit, she took the time to truly listen, understand my concerns, and develop a personalized plan that works for me. Thanks to her care, guidance, and encouragement, my blood sugar levels are under control, and I feel healthier and more confident. Dr. Martha is not only highly knowledgeable and professional but also incredibly kind and compassionate. She explains things clearly, answers all my questions with patience, and genuinely cares about her patients' well-being. Negative experience: This is thee WORST clinic ever! I only didn’t change because I already started there and I didn’t want to go through the hassle again of finding another OBGYN. My entire pregnancy was stressfullll coming here! You better not plan nothing else that day I mean NOTHING! Why? Because you will be waiting there ALLLLL day. Waiting in the waiting area for an hour or more! Then get to the back and WAIT another hour only for them to see you for less than 10 MINUTES… less than 5 really. Even if you’re there at your appointment time. It’s ridiculous and they think you're going to be all energetic and not going to have an attitude when you get back there? HELL YEAH I’m going to have one. I spent all my energy WAITING!!! 1/10 maybe 2 and I still wouldn’t recommend. Only because someone help me get free insurance and also my OBGYN help deliver my baby safely. Other than that hell NO. (Which was from June until Nov 2024) Just today 6/24/25 I had a check up appointment @8:45am at the dentist I had to wait for check in for an hour. Everyone just walking up and some going before me ( I’m just waiting because I already know from multiple experiences you’re going to be sitting for an hour before even being seen) so I get to the back and do the xray thing after that I’m sitting in the room for almost TWOOOO hoursssss… omg I’m just now leaving out of here @11:30am only for this man to see me for 5 minutes I kid you not! Just like that my morning is gone! Smh. Then joking about give me a sticker… YES give it to me thank you! For being so damn patient! Thank you God for patience!!!

Negative experience: Always a bad experience with doctor Mithun Mathew, take forever to see his patients, i had an appointment at 9am, i came 20 minutes before, and they have me wait for 4 hours to see him, just a followed up with my niece and it's not the first time, it's always like that, this is ridiculous. he need to do better with his Patients.

Fantastic experience: Great Dental service. Dr. Cardenas is kind, professional and pleasant. I enjoy coming to this location. The staff is organized, pleasant and always courteous.

Negative experience: These people do nothing to help the patients. The staff are glorified babysitters. There's no counseling or anything. The patients play games and watch movies. THEY NEED TO TEACH COPING SKILLS . They will discharge anyone instantly that does not have insurance.

Fantastic experience: My son Jeremiah is very excited starting back going to CHI , he went yesterday and was very satisfied with the doctor that saw him, very attended to him, very concern, very friendly and professional, he came home and spoke to me about the doctor. Negative experience: If I could leave 0 stars, I would. They REFUSED to see my daughter, who has been suffering from stomach pain. All because I couldn't PROVE she is MY child. Not once have I ever been asked to prove she is my kid, not once has she ever been refused to be seen, until this sad excuse of an urgent care. They expect you to just carry around your child's birth certificate in your wallet as if it's a credit card. They should be ashamed of themselves!!!!

Negative experience: I’m giving this center two stars because the interactions have been balanced, it’s a combination of people who care and 50% of the staff is there to collect a pay check and it shows, they provide short and curt answers and it’s obvious they don’t have the altruistic attitude to perform in a job such as this, I went to urgent care and a young lady by the name of “Vanecia” was so rude to me, this is a sliding scale facility where you are billed according to your income, she directly told me the visit was $45, they didn’t take my insurance and that was it, I walked in with a tooth abscess In excruciating pain, she didn’t provide any other alternatives, didn’t explain that I could be seen and there were other options just blatantly rude, completely unwarranted, my experiences with the nurses and the doctors afterwards were pleasant, they smiled, the doctor smiled as bright as she could as soon as she entered the exam room, the next day I visit pharmacy I’m bounced around a bit, the young lady sitting at the patient consultation desk wouldn’t part her lips to answer my question, wears glasses, she felt a way because I said I couldn’t afford my prescriptions imagine that, as if the pharmacist comping the $8 came directly from her pay check, it’s a non profit organization for Christ sake, “Roly” whose the pharmacist, is an amazing guy, I really could not afford to pay $8 today I need antibiotics and ibuprofen and he ensured that I was seen and treated as a patient anyway! Let’s keep those people there and make changes as needed…

Negative experience: I went for an ear problem that was hurting me and the woman told me they don’t do walk-in’s and to come back at 3pm…. That’s such a shame because The website says walk-ins are available starting 8 am. And I was early . Also I asked another employee Why can’t I be seen and why I have to come back at three when it clearly states that I can be seen . Her response was who told me that and I should have been able to be seen and she walks off and says “they don’t do the job right here”. So now I’m left with the option to go to another place that will ACTUALLY help me and Take care of my needs. I’ll never visit this facility again. I felt discriminated.

Fantastic experience: Very professional and empathetic staff. The location is very clean and orderly. The staff is very helpful and attentive.

Negative experience: Today, I encountered a nurse who was quite unprofessional and disrespectful. I was seeking assistance, but instead of providing clear and calm directions, she began raising her voice. This behavior was both unnecessary and unhelpful. Healthcare professionals should be trained to communicate effectively and respectfully with patients. I hope I don’t have to experience this type of interaction again, as it reflects poorly on the quality of care provided.

Fantastic experience: Went to my DR’s Appointment yesterday For my Treatment of Cortizone shots for my Left Elbow and My Right Shoulder which I suffer from arthritis and tendinitis in the joints my visit Was very pleasant. They made me feel at ease. And they are Very professional Dr Abiona Redwood and his Staff are top notch and very friendly. in the past I’ve had a-lot of Cortizone shots in different doctors offices and the experience I had at CHI was excellent and professional and I highly recommend you checking it out if you suffer from Any arthritis, pain or joint pains? Go See DR Abiona Redwood I’m very pleased with the results and the procedures were painless in the past. Fantastic experience: CHI Doris Ison Health Centre has a very professional atmosphere. They are not kidding when they say it’s everything you need in one place. That place is amazing and CHI as a whole has been a God send to me. I mainly have been a patient at the West Perrine Centre for over 10 yrs now and I have never met a receptionist or a nurse or a doctor that wasn’t very friendly and helpful. My doctors have all been great. They care about helping me get better and not just treating the symptoms. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Positive experience: I'm new at CHI. I didn't see a person for the check in. After looking around I went to the front desk where the lady said she would check me in. I now know you can check in at the front if theirs no staff.

Negative experience: I'm coming from Chi south Miami, but I was told this is the main office so I'm also posting my review here. Absolute disgrace of a doctor Stainley Williams is. I went to do labs for the first time wanting to see my vitamin levels, specifically my vitamin d, because I was told I may be deficient, and cholesterol levels. Which I told him because he asked me what makes me want to do a labs test. I get the results and sure enough I see everything except any vitamin, or cholesterol result, the only two things I asked for. Instead I see a bunch of stuff I never even heard of or mention like comprehensive metabolic panel, cbc with differential, hemoglobin A1C. I've looked thoroughly and not a single vitamin or cholesterol result in any of those. As well as std tests Hepatitis and HIV. Never in a million years did he offer to order me std tests, and if he did I would’ve said ‘no’ because it’s completely useless as I’ve never had sexual intercourse of any kind. Which just adds insult to injury because not only did he order them without offering me, but I even told him I was a virgin because he offered me some vaccine for protective sex which he highly recommended. So why would he order std labs. At this point I’m surprised he didn’t just stick the vaccine needle in me without offering so he can charge me for that too. This was my first time doing labs, and I’m sure he knew it as well, as I’m sure I came off ignorant and clueless. So I just wish he would’ve been more clear, like when he talking about the vaccine. I’m sure he wants me to visit again to pay him more money to finally get what I initially wanted. But I won’t. It can’t be a coincidence that I got so many results, but not a single one was any vitamin or cholesterol (lipids) result. Which was the only two things I told him I was interested in from the beginning. I’m a broke independent kid without insurance. But he’s ignoring my messages and clearly doesn’t care because he got paid either way. Shameless.

Fantastic experience: CHI is affordable Health Care. The facility is very clean, and the staff their on 216th is friendly and helpful. I would recommend this facility to anyone with very little money or resources. They will and can help you with your medical, dental, optometrist needs.

Positive experience: They do not accept out of State Medicaid Insurance! for Urgent Care Visit or Prescriptions! The Nurses/Aides do a Fine job! The Doctors, do they're best to address your issues. They do not have a Dermatologist on Staff!!!!! The Pharmacy seems to work fine. They have Free Delivery for Prescriptions!!!!! The Front Desk Staff is okay at best!

Negative experience: Worst place ever to go see a doctor in the case you get to see one! Edgard Nuñez is our doctor and in 5 years we don t even know how he looks! Always canceled last minute, they don t even call you back when they say so and they changed my apointment without even my consent the other day. And of course today they called me to give my husband a virtual apointment yes because doctor wont be availble for his apointment! This is umbelievable. We make an apointment for a reason and we already have to wait 2 month to get one, then to be canceled! And yes they gave me another one for 2 weeks later!! If they do not cancel before that. Worst place ever do not recomend at all.

Fantastic experience: There is often a wait for walk ins, but compared to the nearly two months you have to wait for an appointment, waiting 1 - 2 hrs max isn't bad at all. The receptionists, nurses, and even doctors have always gone above and beyond for accommodation. Honestly, out of the four times I have visited in the past month or so at various times, I'm surprised how ppl rag on public health institutions like they're some antiquated medical system. Kinder and overall better in person experience than a majority of private practices I've been to. It's just annoying navigating a system without insurance but I don't blame this hospital for that. Highly recommend if you are uninsured.

It's a clean environment, a very nice environment. They had an emergency from 8:00 to 10:00 PM, and they took care of me, and I'm just so happy to be back to myself.

Negative experience: Dr Martha Perez is SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL. She referred me to a doctor that does NOT take my insurance and the office took MONTHS to change the information. THEYLL LET YOU DIE & COME TO THE FUNURAL SAYING THEY TRIED THERE BEST. Patient care is a 0 in that office how sad.

As someone without Insurance, it can be stressful to get healthcare. CHI has intentionally gone above and beyond to meet my needs. Forever grateful!!

Negative experience: Wow, I was watching this video. On the Vice President Tiffany H of Communication . She needs to Learn that the first amendment is fornthe peoplen and heppa has to do with the employees responsibility. Therfore it does not apply to the people. In the Constitution of United States. The first amendment is eligible for anybody to film in public even if the people who work their feelillings are hurt. It doesn't matter due to the fact that we, the people by the people. Have every right to videotape and address our government in every public location. As the first time I'm in resights, we are all newscast. Tiffany h Has Tresspassed a individual who hasnevsry right to be at the public building thay he was at . She should be ashamed f I harrasing him and she should be fired.

Fantastic experience: And the young lady in the radiology department that did my ultrasound was very professional very kind and very patient. Everybody should have such wonderful people working for them.

Negative experience: Came in with an injured/possibly broken foot. Made me painfully walk/hobble down to the x ray area telling me that if the foot is broken I need to go to the hospital right away. Made it all the way down to the x ray area and was told they’re out on vacation until Wednesday. I painfully hobble all the way back to the urgent care and tell them what happened. They tell me to wait and after 5 more minutes they come out and tell me I’m discharged and basically kick me out. Terrible service and I probably did more damage to my foot walking back and forth across their campus for no treatment. Do not come here

Negative experience: They don't have appointments!!!!!! always too busy or understaffed or no enough doctors!!! Dental appointments are once every 3 month !!!! Wow!!! Please, hire more doctors PLEASE, people need your help because you are our community health center, we depend on your doctors to get better in our health!! Other than that I love everything there when it comes to the actual health care, I mean they have great great doctors that treat you well, very well indeed but they don't have appointments!!!!!! PLEASE, HIRE MORE DOCTORS AND DENTISTS we need you as our community health center to care please

Fantastic experience: Highly Impressed by the level of care and attention to detail at every single step. The staff were amazing, and on top of it they also treat uninsured. They have prescriptions in house, very convenient. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I read a couple of reviews and thought I was in for a disappointment. I could not have been more wrong. The place is clean, bright, and inviting. Staff and patients are friendly and helpful. The wait times were not unreasonable. Well worth the hour drive it took me to get there.

Negative experience: Worst experience. Had an appointment scheduled to come in at 1:00pm. Was called the day before BY THE DOCTOR to come in earlier at 11:00am. Wait 3 and half hours to not be seen. Wasted a day just to told to wait around. What’s the point of an appointment if you have to wait 3 hours to be seen. This appointment was also made a month in advance.

Fantastic experience: Chi in Cutler Bay Florida is improving. Check in was fast. The head pharmacist Rolando was super nice and very very helpful. Also the staff that works under Rolando was very helpful and nice. May God always blessed them ❤️ ALL!!

Negative experience: Security needs to be retrained on the laws and what they can and can’t do, especially the Chief Hamilton acting like a tyrant. As well as acting with more professionalism since it’s obvious they are lacking that here
