Fantastic experience: I had a deep scaling procedure pwrformed recently by Peridontist Chalia. NO PAIN!!! She is so skilled doing her work and wondrful at educating on how to take better care of your teeth. I hope she will stay at this dental clinic as long as I do!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Moore is amazing. She is blunt and honest. She also has a good bedside manor and will joke around which helps make everything a little more relaxed. She won't sugar coat the treatment and gave me a very realistic goal and expectation of what the outcome would be. She is very thorough. She treats her staff with respect and kindness. From pc to assistant everyone was warm, welcoming and friendly.

Olga has gone above & beyond to help me troubleshoot mobility issues complicating the health of my teeth. She’s always super willing to answer questions and it feels like she actually cares and spends time with each patient in a very genuine way.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding Service! Jazmine was my hero! I had been struggling to get an appointment for my wisdom tooth extraction, and she was incredibly professional and efficient—she managed to get me in to see a dentist right away. Dr. Kristin was excellent; he was able to extract the tooth smoothly since it was already loose and there were no complications. Ms Paula the Dental Assistant was exceptional as well. I truly appreciate the care and service I received. I will definitely recommend them to others. Outstanding service from start to finish!

Negative experience: 12:00 appt with Dental Hygiene stuff. Already told this office I didn't have much time.due to my job. They said the hygienist only needed 15 minutes the most. I get there. 12pm passes, 12:15 pm passes, 12:30 pm passes & then at 12:40 pm, I had to leave. I never did see the hygienist. Needless to say. Very unprofessional & inconsiderate of my time.

Negative experience: I took my 2 daughters to the Snellville location for a ortho consultation for a tooth extraction so they can eventually get braces. The appointments were for 7:20am, we arrived on time. We waited until 7:50am for them to be seen. The x-rays were fast, took about 10-15 minutes. They took us into a waiting room to wait for the Ortho doc and during that time we heard employees laughing, mingling just hanging around each other. No one ever came into the room to discuss the images. I waited until 8:40am and left the building. It's been 3 weeks and no one from the office has called to follow-up. I called the office to ask for the Ortho Doc to contact me to discuss the images and discuss next steps and no one has returned my call. I would not recommend this location at all. They don't value their clients time and they obviously don't care about repeat business. The employees in this location are extremely unprofessional. I heard an employee yell at a child "stay still!" while we were waiting in the room. I was so bothered by that, I asked my daughters if anyone there has ever yelled at them that way. Parents are normally in the waiting room and are not aware of the treatments their children receive. Please avoid the Snellville location. I will not return here, not that they care.

Fantastic experience: Today was a much better visit from my last. I was late and they accommodated me. I had called and gave a heads up. I was made aware of the cost and paid before I was taken back which I liked compared to the last visit. I was in and out in a decent time with 2 children. The hygienist or dentist was super sweet and encouraging with my little one. She could've introduced herself and gave her title for awareness. I left and received a text message for my next appointment. This was efficient, however, not helpful to have an appointment automatically made that doesn't align with the patient’s schedule. Now I have to call to get it rescheduled. This should've been confirmed before I left. Overall, the visit was great!

Negative experience: I was. very disappointed with my experience Today. I was in the chair, asked for payment, unfortunately Today I forgot my Health spending card and was refused Service. I've been a patient for 15+ and it was a slap in my face.

Fantastic experience: What can I say about this place?! Amazing, friendly staff and my daughter loves her doctor there. Everyone greets you with a smile, and they make the kids feel very comfortable. The dentist office is always clean and very professional. Everyone we have dealt with here has been great. The wait time is not long like most places. They get you in and out. I would highly recommend you bring your child here and you will not be disappointed.

Negative experience: Wish could give zero or negatives. Complete scam. Went in for simple cleaning under my dental insurance. Get there and more than an hour after x-rays and their 123 gum check they wanted to do this $1000 program. Asked about cleaning, oh we don't do that with exams have to reschedule that after we get you into the program.

Greeted by a great dental assistance today and she made my visit exceptional, very comfortable. I asked a bunch of question and she was patience with me and informative. If you are looking for a primary dental care place, this is it.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Hedge is an amazing dentist. She is very personable, patient, and obviously passionate about the work she does. As she worked with my two girls, she used every communication as an opportunity to provide education. Not just about teeth, but random things such as the temperature of the room and anesthesia effectiveness. She also worked to understand the emotions my daughter was feeling to address her angst with getting fillings. Simply amazing.

Fantastic experience: The doctor and nurse were excellent!!! They were very professional. Dr kept me calm by explaining procedures as she did my oral surgery.

Negative experience: Dentist 5/5 - Was great and help with my crown replacement. Smooth and efficient, out and in faster than I expected Hygienist 1/5 - Not sure what was going on or if drew the bad straw or what for my appointment but I was waiting for at least 1.5 hours and they told me I had to wait longer before they could get to me. Yes I did had this appointment book in advance and showed up early. As well I was keeping track of time and am not exaggerating since I surf the web while waiting and I ran out of idea on what to do online that I realize how much time passed while waiting. Had to reschedule as I had things to do and did not want to waste my time further. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt and am hoping that this wasn't a fluke. But in general if you pride on charging customer to be one time then at least reciprocate it in a timely manner. Still waiting after 1.5 hour is mental.

Fantastic experience: Lindsey does an amazing job all the time. She’s very calming and helpful! Jaz Jones has been taking all my money now at 2 dentist offices and she’s so awesome to work with. You are immediately greeted by a wonderful woman at the front desk as soon as you get off the elevator. Transferring to this dental office has been a great decision!

Negative experience: The hygienist put fluoride on my teeth without talking to me about the fact that it couldn't be removed for 5 hours, l couldn't eat for 30 minutes, and it felt like glue on my teeth. She told me this once she was applying the nasty substance. I had 2 appointments following my dental appointment. I had to go buy a tooth brush and clean my teeth to complete my day. She also let me walk out of the office with that nasty white substance all over my lips. I felt embarrassed and humiliated. I called back to the office and changed hygienist. I didn't realize it was white like glue and everyone could see it until l looked in the mirror. Totally unprofessional !

Fantastic experience: Very pleasant atmosphere. Staff is very friendly. Social distancing is practiced everywhere and the service is very nice. My dental hygienist is the best! She always knows how to help me relax and always is friendly and pleasant.

Negative experience: My dental hygienist was amazing—super friendly, professional, and did a great job with my cleaning. My teeth felt squeaky clean afterward! However, I had an issue with the person who I originally scheduled the appointment with on Monday, June 9th. Around 9:30 a.m., I called the office to schedule a cleaning. After recently having my wisdom teeth removed, I knew I had a buildup of tartar and wanted to get a professional cleaning, even though it had been less than six months since my last one. The person I spoke with let me know that I would need to pay out of pocket, and I said that was no problem. I specifically asked to be scheduled for 8:00 a.m. the next day. And since it was out of pocket I asked around how much would it cost. The person said that the hygienist, would have to reach out to me to let me know. So I then said okay that's fine, but just in case I'm not available by the time they reach out to me, I would still be showing up and paying for my appointment. And the person on the phone said okay, your appointment is still schedule. But when I arrived at the office at that time, a different front desk staff member informed me that my appointment had been canceled by the person I spoke with—despite me clearly saying not to cancel it. I was confused and frustrated because I had confirmed I was willing to pay. Fortunately, I was able to be rescheduled for 12:30 p.m. that same day, and I did go through with the cleaning after paying JUST $86 out of pocket. My question is: why the hell my appointment would be canceled simply because I was paying out of pocket? And especially for just $86? It felt very disrespectful and unprofessional, considering I made it clear that I had no issue paying! Again, my hygienist was fantastic—but the front desk experience left a bad impression.

Negative experience: Not worth the time or money !! For starters I arrived under the pretense of getting a cleaning and treatment plan bc I had previously done an exam in March. They called me the day before to make sure I notified my insurance company of my upcoming visit but did not mention that the suction machine was down so it was a HUGE possibility that I would not be getting my teeth cleaned . After doing another round of exams and 1.5 hours later I’m being told that the cleaning won’t take place today and that I can Come back tomorrow due to the machine being out of order . Instantly pissed bc did I mention that I let the intake person know that my main goal for the visit was to get my teeth cleaned, I also told the assistant and doctor that I WANTED MY TEETH CLEANED and nobody ever mentioned the machine being out of order until I had wasted 1.5 hours here . Then I look at the charge codes that they put in and they wrote emergency exam!! How is it an emergency exam if every last one of you commented on how great of shape my teeth were in ?! If asked I could have called my previous dental office and got the exams before my appointment. I wouldn’t recommend this office to anyone and the allegations of being money hungry are TRUE !!

Fantastic experience: Great Expressions office staff in Snellville, GA (Wisteria) is helping me maintain good health thru great dentistry. The staff is warm, friendly and caring. Always professional and believe in a follow up practice to make sure you are recooperating well. I highly recommend them!

Negative experience: Very scammy. Avoid this location at all costs! Staff nice but unprofessional. They kept trying to get me to change my appt to come in sooner. I thought that was weird. Then they said they needed a deposit to schedule an appt for permanent crown. Weird but I agreed because it was $50. Then they call a week later asking for a deposit. I say, I already paid that and the lady says well there’s more. I was like ooo no, cancel the appointment. I knew then to trust my instincts and not deal with them. This was all in February. Here we are in June and I get a bill from them for a crown!! A crown I never got! So they are absolutely running some type of insurance fraud scheme. My insurance has been billed and already paid them. SMH. Stay away from this location!!!!!!

Negative experience: Front desk had incorrect insurance information. Directed me to call my insurance company and get the Snelleville location listed as my selected location. However, when I called my insurance company I was advised that a selection was not required because I have PPO. All parties involved had incorrect information. In addition, my visit was for cleaning was over 2 hours.

Negative experience: I've been getting regular dental cleanings every 4–6 months for years without any issues, but my recent visit to Great Expressions Snellville was disappointing and frustrating. From the moment I arrived, it felt more like a sales pitch than a dental appointment. Instead of providing the standard cleaning I came in for, I was pushed toward expensive and unnecessary treatment. The service felt aggressive and more focused on upselling than genuinely caring for my dental health. I made it clear I was there for a routine cleaning, but they made it seem like that wasn’t even an option unless I agreed to additional procedures. As a dentist had her hands in my month, I was asked for payment for a 35.00 x-ray fee that insurance doesnt cover. I had to sign a waiver before I even sat in the chair. It’s become obvious that Great Expressions is more concerned about making money than actually providing care. I left feeling pressured, not cared for. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone who values transparency and patient-focused care.

Positive experience: I'm a new patient to GEDC and my first visit was interesting to say the least. There was a slight lack of professionalism and the dental suites could use some wipe downs. Also, for as long as I've been going to the dentist, I've never had to pay before treatment! It was always after. It was very off-putting to have the hygienist going over costs and collecting my credit card before cleaning my teeth. However, everyone was nice.

Positive experience: Great Experience!!! Lindsey was the assistant that took care of me and her bedside manner is outstanding. The X-rays she did on me is what stood out the most. She was very fast and it was the most comfortable X-rays I have ever had, but for some reason, while getting my x-rays done, I realized that she wasn't wearing any X-ray protection herself. I'm sure that this would be an easy fix for the company to correct, but overall, I have a great experience and by far the most polite and down to earth assistant I’ve interacted with.

Negative experience: Do not go to this dentist. They will try to scam you out of your money. I went in for a check up and was told I need a tooth pulled and work done and said my insurance will only cover half of it and wanted to pay $375 for a simple tooth removal that is usually free. So I called my insurance they told me the removal should be free of charge as it’s covered by my insurance.

Positive experience: Please inform people when you are about to put the X-ray or the apron with the cord on them. Don’t just throw it on someone without informing them what you are doing. But she did inform me when she was taking the teeth X-ray. Overall the visit was quick and dr Gannis is always happy and pleasant.

Negative experience: The assistant and hygienist were not warm or welcoming. When seated, I was just given a clip board and was told we're collecting payment up front. I usually get a verbal explanation. The laminated message about collecting monies up front is rude and condescending. You should update that to make it more friendly. It through off my whole experience.

I came to get my teeth cleaned and I revealed to the hygienist and the assistant that I had a area in my mouth that needed checked out, and as I was explaining it my Dentist, "Dr.G" overheard heard me explaining the situation to one of them. She came right into the room told them what to do, then explained to me what had happened and a consultation was made immediately. I have to give credit when credit is due. Thank you very much to all three of you. I have been here for years and I trust Dr. G and her team. She has high standards, knowledgeable and requires the same of her team. Positive experience: I was able to get an appointment to replace my crown and have my annual cleaning at the same time. This was convenient, efficient and professional. I just did like how prices for crowns have double in the past 5 or more years. My out-of-pocket expenses were extremely too high; but I will be changing plans very soon.

Negative experience: If I could give them a -100 I would. They are money hungry and over exaggerate to do the highest cost work. Please go somewhere else or get a second opinion. Me and my children will no longer be going here after coming to them for over a decade. 100 thumbs done!

Fantastic experience: I've been here a few years ago, and the service is still the same as usual. I brought my daughter this time for a consultation for braces. Meeting Dr. Chakote for the first time went very well, he's professional, friendly, very informative. My daughter can't wait to start her braces journey with Dr. Chakote soon.

Negative experience: 1. Excellent Doctor taking on my dental treatment, efficient, direct, listens to varify any problems. and completes work with patient. 2. Clerical workers improperly trained IE code for billing of patients to their medical plan. My Principal Dental Insurance Co is contantly returning claims due to contant attempts of DOUBLE BILLING for 2- 3 years. 3. fiscically doctor receipts to raise the cost to the patient. I can prove this in a Court of law if, necessary. I am a senior citizen that does not want to waste my life time in a court of law proving what i am saying with this company's own paper work . SOLUTION; undate coding methods in your clerical side of your offices from office managers down. OTHER WISE is someone contacts me with a class action law suit I will be more than happy to join in and submit your own paperwork to win the case AGAINST your company.

Negative experience: Our experience with this clinic has been the worst. I went in for dentures about 3 months ago, I’ve had 4-5 appointment already and they can’t get it right, the dentures are too long and too thick it’s been two appointments of adjustments and they come back the exact same, they either don’t listen when you tell them that they are wrong or the lab doesn’t do anything, mind you, they take about 3 weeks to make any changes. On top of that I was left to wait for a cleaning on the very last chair for more than and hour. The dentures are still not ready, and I’m extremely disappointed with the results for such expensive dentures.

Negative experience: I'm currently going through Invisalign treatment with Dr. G and his team. While I am happy with the progress & the transition of my teeth so far (with a few minor concerns). I can't say that I'm fully satisfied with the skill & communication from the staff. At the initial appointment to complete impressions & digital images of my teeth, none of the staff explained what was to take place. The team seemed inexperienced & did not know how to set up the impression trays. It took almost 2 hours to get the impressions & digital scans done. All the trays they attempted to use were way too big to properly fit my mouth, to the point that the skin on my lips and corners of my lips were swollen, stretched & torn. It wasn't until the Dr. came in and suggested getting x-small or pediatric trays, which initially they could not find. The Dr. ended up taking over getting the impressions. The scanning was also extremely uncomfortable due to the wand being very large & awkward to get around the back of my teeth. It took at least 5 attempts to complete the scans. Two different technicians attempted. The 2nd technician seemed to have a better understanding of how to get the best position & finally was able to complete the scans. However, I was called a few days later to come back in and redo the scans, as they said the images didn't go through for some reason. Once I received my first set of aligners, apparently, I was supposed to get a package of cleaning crystals, which no one ever mentioned. I found out I was supposed to receive this when I returned to be evaluated after completing my ninth alighner (3.5 months later). During the evaluation, I attempted to ask a few questions and explain to the technician what I was interested in seeing as a result of the treatment. She couldn't answer my questions and said to speak to the Dr. She struggled for over an hour to complete the scans. She finally asked another technician to try. The 2nd technician came and completed the scans (the same person who was able to complete scans for the first set). When the Dr. was called back to the room, I explained a few issues I was having, and he took pictures and explained he may have to make a few adjustments after I complete the 2nd lot of aligners. When asked when the next set of aligners would be available, the staff was not sure, and I would need to wear the last aligner until the new ones arrived. While the Dr. was present, I made mention of the fact that the staff didn't explain anything or provide the cleaning solution, but my concerns were just brushed off. Although I've been satisfied with my regular dental treatment since being a patient here, the staff are all pleasant and courteous, however, I feel there is a lack of skill & communication when it comes to the Invisalign process. I am certain additional training needs to be accomplished. The staff needs to learn to introduce themselves and to communicate what they are going to do before its done. At this point, I'll wait to receive the 2nd set of aligners to continue treatment. I will submit another review once the treatment is completed. UPDATE - I had the opportunity to speak extensively with the office manager. She listened intently, and she agreed that my experience was unacceptable. She assured me that changes would be made. When I went back to be fitted for the 2nd set of aligners, I was greeted with a smile & addressed professionally. The technician & Dr. explained everything & treated me very well. Everything went smoothly, and I was very pleased with the service. Again, I believe training is the key to improvement. Those who are flexible, teachable, have a positive attitude, and take pride in what they do can make or break a business. I could tell the difference in the staff when I returned. Hopefully, the improvements will stick, and the staff will continue to grow vs. being unmotivated, untrained, or complacent.

Fantastic experience: By far this place has done wonders. I enjoyed every experience except one and it was addressed appropriately. Doc listens and is very gentle. Manager and staff are all personable and meet every need I had. Will definitely keep them for all my dental needs.

Fantastic experience: The people were super nice and friendly, and while they did crack jokes about me not having a dentist appointment in over 5 years, they were super chill about it. One if them even like my ring tone for my alarms, super wholesome. :) UPDATE: Love Dr. Ghannie and Hygienist Dione! They're both fabulous people and always take care of me! I've known Dr. Grannies for years now, and she's never steered me wrong. But she can be a bit of a whirlwind, always moving from place to place, never really still. But I like that about her! :)

Fantastic experience: Colin had an orthodontist appointment which went amazingly. Shawn King provided excellent service by re-explaining the benefits of great dental care and proper brushing.

Positive experience: Everything is great about this clinic (doctor, assistants' bedside manners), except for the long wait times to get in. Every time I come, I wait about 30-40 min before my appointment actually begins. If this improves, I will change my review to five stars. If not, then I may look elsewhere. I understand there are many people here, but they should schedule sessions based on how long, realistically, someone's appointment will take.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ghannie is very caring with great bedside manners in the office. Very confident in her work, and she makes the experience as easy as possible.

Negative experience: Was not a very good experience. Office kept finding procedures to add to my treatment that were not covered by my insurance and made me pay out of pocket and not being exacty truthful. Not sure whether or not I will continue at this office.

Negative experience: This place is a rip off. They never disclose to you the additional fees you have to pay until all the services are completed. I only wanted done what my insurance paid for. I went to checkout and she says 69.00. Fluoride, I’m willing to pay for. Now they do a cancer screening without asking if you want it or not. I will NOT be going back to this place. They do this every time.

Fantastic experience: Charlia and her coworkers did another excellent job of cleaning and treating my teeth. Also, the dental advise that they provided me along with the electric toothbrush recommendation are working great.

Fantastic experience: The employees and staff are the greatest people to work with at Great Expressions. They bring Hope to Having a beautiful smile again!

Negative experience: I recently came for a cleaning at this location, and they just wasted my time for 2 hours. I couldn’t even get a cleaning.. they just rescheduled me. Apparently, they were overbooked with 2 other clients. This is unacceptable. If you are not going to be available then why book a client an appointment at that time?? I feel like my time is not being taken into consideration , as I also have to leave my job to complete appointments.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Great Expressions has always been a great wonderful. Wonderful and professional staff. Great Dr's, who care about your dental health and great smile. I love going there and put my trust in the staff hired. I always walk away happy.

Fantastic experience: Great Expressions is the truth. I had the best teeth cleaning in my life. They were courteous and informative every step of the way. They even gave me my next appointment while I was still in the dentist chair. Never experienced that in my life. Did I mention I had my teeth cleaned. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME.

Positive experience: Today was my second visit at Great Expressions and i am very pleased. First of all the office is very clean and welcoming. The staff also makes you feel comfortable and welcome. They are quite nice.

Fantastic experience: Everyone there from the administrative staff to the the dental assistants and, of course, the doctor are very thoughtful and kind. I went in for what was supposed to be a quick appointment and it ended up I needed more extensive work done. I did not have to wait at all. They got me numbed up and started work very quickly. Someone sat beside me and patted my shoulder during the procedure. It was so thoughtful and kind.

Negative experience: When I came today, the dentist was supposed to do an oral evaluation. She walked in, and walked out. Next thing you know, the dental assistant tells me how she can’t see me today. The dentist didn’t evaluate me or tell me anything about why she couldn’t see me. In fact , no one told me anything about why. Horrific communication. This was definitely my last time coming here, will not be returning.
