I’ve lived in this area for 53 and been to multiple dentists in Lee County but Dr. Polanco and staff are the Very Best!! Community Dental is top notch in every category. From the way the front office answers the phone when you call in, to the way they acknowledge and greet you when you come through the door into the office, the care and compassion you receive in the back with the medical staff and back through check out and out the door upon completion of your visit. Professional, skilled and compassionate! Efficient, no long wait, no confusion. All offices should take lessons from these guys. In a time where so much of this doesn’t exist and isn’t even required in so many establishments, this office nails it EVERY SINGLE TIME!! Positive experience: The office is close, clean and well staffed However, I wish I'd never gone there, The bone graft they put in my tooth extraction area, Fell out! When I told them about it they said, "The body only keeps what it needs" Now they can't do an implant bc "There's not enough bone " go to a specialist " This is the worst of several problems I've experienced here

Fantastic experience: My initial visit with Dr Polanco and Dental Assistant Amanda was excellent. Dr Polanco’s gave a thorough exam, clear explanations for all future procedures with all options discussed. This was given with a caring attitude and relaxing and not rushed manner. Today i had a cleaning procedure with Dental Hygienist Marisa who performed everything pain free, was very accommodating and did a remarkable job. Fantastic experience: I don't know where to begin! I've had such great experiences since my very first visit....I've had many extractions done at one time ...at least 3 adjustments on my temporary denture and my latest visit a cavity filled and a tooth extraction on my low jaw. I have had hardly any pain Motrin worked and didn't have to have anything stronger. Dr. Mendez and all of her assistants are caring gentle and knew how to make me as comfortable as possible. I felt they really wanted me to have the best possible experience. I highly recommend Community Dental. They have a Smile program for those who need a little financial assistance. ❤️

Positive experience: The extractions were great better than I expected. The temporary teeth however are terrible. I know swelling has to go down I know it take time to get used to something. But I also know that after a month or so and three adjustments. I should be able to bite something if I bite something the back comes out. I I have to wear liners because they hurt so bad. I thought the last adjustment worked but it still hurts my gums, cuts in. I really think that when I'm ready for permanent teeth,I'm going somewhere else. If I have to pay for things to be fixed I'm going to get them done by somebody that I feel comfortable with. The only time I seen a dentist was when they were extracted. There was no impression taken I don't care about that new fangled thing they have cuz it doesn't work. I have pictures of how bad my teeth were put together originally. Like I said I can't eat so I have lost some weight. Staff is cordial and nice. Dentist was good. But whoever makes their teeth is horrible. I have a friend that had theirs made there and said they're temporaries were great but their permanent ones were horrible. This will never be published cuz out of 20 pages I read not one bad review give me a break.

Positive experience: For the most part, our experience was good. Everyone was pleasant and helpful to my wife and me; especially Irene, who began placing the X-ray devices in my mouth. Unfortunately, Irene was called away, while the job was completed by a younger female, who did not have the skill of Irene. Consequently, having me bite down on the devices (bitewings?) was rather painful. My wife had the same experience with her hygienist. 3 days later, our tongues are still sore. Also, charging 3% fee for using a credit card is kind of tacky.

Negative experience: Inconsistent with keeping appointments- when you make an appointment they call to tell you they have to reschedule you for a different time, then tell you what time that appointment is without consulting you first. Next, I had a cavity filling and the grinding was done so incorrectly and sore that the bite was off so bad I had to eat soft food for 2 days until I could seen. And finally, when you get your teeth cleaned there, comfort isn't an option.

Fantastic experience: SUPER helpful & Friendly front desk staff!! My son has a disability and they go above and beyond to accommodate!! Dentist and hygienist are extremely sweet and patient and explain options in detail before starting any work. Office is immaculate Its a little far from me I pass 4 or 5 other dental offices to get there but I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!! 5+ Stars i highly recommend this office!!

Negative experience: I tried Community Dental Care because they were much closer and their high rating after my regular dentist, Friendly Dental moved to Estero. I am astounded how Community Dental can have this rating. Yes, the front desk staff are pleasant but that's where it stops. What I experienced twice during cleanings ( I gave them a second chance, hoping I get a different hygienist) was I was tilted too far back and was choking on water. I literally felt this must be what waterboarding feels like. Hygienist was rough and painful. I was totally tensed up during whole painful procedure. The dentist in her exam missed an obvious cavity that was two sided front and back of the tooth, even though xrays had been taken. Dentist was also rude and insulting. Their equipment is outdated compared to modern equipment used at Friendly Dental. My teeth did not ache after cleaning at Friendly Dental and I felt more calm and not like I would choke during the cleaning. It's a drive but worth it.

Positive experience: Way too long in the chair, dentist worked a bit then walk away and come back some time later, this happened several times. Almost two and a half hours sitting in the chair for a basic crown!? The patient suffers because they take on too many patients. This describes overall health care in the area, quality of care will drop.

Fantastic experience: My name is Tricia Walters and I recently had a first time ever part one of a deep cleaning from Angela. I'm pushing 50 and have anxiety when it comes to anything related to a "white coat worker". The CARE that Angela gave me was absolutely perfect for me! She was kind and thorough with my emotional and physical needs!! For a first time and all the negative feedback I've heard from others really had me terrified but by the end of the visit, I felt very comfortable with her and her work. I've never thought I'd say this but I'm looking forward to have her work on part 2 of my cleaning. My mouth feels better than it has in so many years I can't even remember and I thank Angela at community dental for making my anxiety calm down and show me I really had nothing to worry about. Thank you Angela for an experience I now can face with a smile instead of terror.... You are an incredible person and your work is amazing!! 10/10!!!

Positive experience: Good place to get your teeth cleaned and have an annual check-up. I have been going to them for years. But, they have been raising their prices a substantial amount for things such as root canals, ect. If you have to pay out of pocket always call them first or get an estimate. Prices change like the weather. One person says one price another person says a different price. Be prepared, not surprised. BTW, Lidiana is one of the best hygienists!

The office communicated multiple times about the status of my appointment. They said they would call me Monday to reschedule, and they did! They got me in within days. Check-in was warm and friendly. Negative experience: I went in today to speak to the doctor I've been a patient there for about 7 years. I had a lower tooth very very loose needed to be extracted. I told them financially I'm on a fixed income could you please work with me. Before the doctor came in he sent one of the girls to go over the invoice for the day the tooth extraction was $358 $40 for x-rays and $100 in change for the doctor to look at the X-ray. I appreciate your beautiful new office and doctor which is run very streamlined quick to me it's all about the money. I felt so bad for the girl who had to relay the information to me. Keep in mind less than a year ago I paid $190 for an extraction she told me that the rates went up. I walked out in pain no one stopped me and I paid $29 as well. Definitely a bad taste in my mouth.

Positive experience: As a new patient at Community Dental Care, I was very pleased with the modern, light & clean reception area, and patient cubicles. I was assigned Dr. Michele Felix, my first woman dentist. She listened to my concerns thoroughly and made medical suggestions for my treatment. Her dental assistant, Brandy, was very thorough in gathering my patient records from my previous dental office. Brandy was on task in establishing my "new" patient chart to include my dental history, previous procedures, and concerns. I had already signed a dental release 2 weeks prior for getting all my records from the last 5 years from my previous dental office. Unfortunately when I checked in, my previous patient history had NOT yet been received. That was a bit of a disappointment considering I had completed all the required documents two weeks prior for this first appointment. This office got very busy, but it seemed well organized with the administrative & insurance staff. I was told there are 5 dentists at this office, which is relieving in the case of an emergency. I look forward to being well taken care of by Dr. Felix and staff.

Negative experience: Dr Felix is great but the practice will lie straight to your face. I had a tooth extracted and do not ever intend on getting implants of any kind. The girl mentions bone graft and I tell her I didn't want it and I never plan to get implants. She went on about how it will help healing ect and said that it is covered by my insurance. So since it was "covered by my insurance" I decided to go ahead with it even though I still never plan to get implants so would not of paid for this service. I check out, pay my part, and leave. 2 weeks later I have to go back to get the stitches removed, arrive and told I have an outstanding balance. Ask why they wouldn't make sure all services are covered before giving those service, that way someone isn't slammed with another bill, her response is they did but insurance didn't cover as much as they (insurance company) had anticipated. I said, ok what was it that was not covered, while telling my husband "I bet it was that dam bone graft". Sure enough, she came back with that being what was NOT a covered service. Like they did not cover any of it because it was not a covered service. So I was lied to and talked into getting a service that wasn't covered even though she assured me more than once that it was "covered by your insurance". Insurance does not decide to pay for a service then just change their mind, especially when it isn't even a covered service. So I got my stitches removed and will be looking for an honest dentist practice. So beware of what you're told there, because you may walk in with a surprise bill for agreeing to a service that isn't actually covered by your insurance, even after being told multiple times it was. I like this practice up until this point, and the lie is the reason I will not be going back. Dr Felix is great though.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Community Dental for several years and love Dr. Polanko and his staff. I had to change dentists in 2025 because I changed insurance companies. When I needed a crown, that my insurance didn't cover the cost, I went back there because they were cheaper and even had a special going on.

Fantastic experience: Have not been to a dentist in several years. Crown fell off and they got me in for emergency same day. Everyone was very nice so I decided to go back next day and have new x rays and a cleaning done. Looks like I have a new dentist!! Would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Here I was again, at Community Dental with a cracked crown that was caused by a root canal five days earlier. They took me in at 3 PM and proceeded to remove the cracked crown and fit me for a replacement.....no charge. Sabrina and Dr. Felix were thorough, efficient and pleasant while they worked......it was a great visit!

Fantastic experience: I have now finished my restoration plan and am enjoying my new chewing power. Everyone from the front desk to the dentists,the assistants, and the hygienists were just great. Recently I was in for a cleaning which I had previously missed due scheduling of my restoration work. All of the hygienists have been very good at CDC, however Angela was the most thorough hygienist I have ever had the pleasure to encounter. She adapted to my "unusual" bite pattern and was able to remove all of the staining that I had built up since my last cleaning. My teeth now look cleaner and brighter. Thank you again Angela.

Negative experience: Highly recommend not to go there they are rip offs and don’t do the work they are supposed to do then u end up with more work and problems because they book appointments for a month later than charge u triple with insurance smh I’m still in pain and still needing work after I paid them like 700 for 2 caps smh never again they should be shut down for over charging people and running peoples insurance up for nothing

Fantastic experience: I came to Cape Coral for an appointment for son and I had dental surgery before I left NY . I ended up with dry socket and infection. I was beyond upset and in a lot pain. Even though the office closed at 5. They still were able to treat me when I walked in at 4:15. The receptionist was so caring and considerate they got me right in! Then I got in the back to see assistant and dentist they were both awesome as well! Due to the nature of my dry socket it was painful but they were so caring. I can’t thank the Dentist and her staff for an amazing experience considering the situation I was in! Highly recommend! Thank you for everything!!!
