Wow Dental

Negative experience: Horrible! Very painful with no warning. I have gum disease, shame on me but I am getting it treated. I will keep you updated as I go along. Up until this experience with the hygienist, I had been very satisfied hope to be again. Please don't stop reading.... Update: The wait was long but the service, with the exception of one hygienist, was great! Dr. Katana explained the procedure and aftercare several times for my understanding. The pulling of one of my teeth was quite painful. I don't think enough numbing medication was used. The doctor stated I should have said something, and I told him I did! Even his assistant chuckled and said, "Her knees were in her chest!", as I had curled my lower body into a ball because of the pain. Lastly, the billing was a nightmare! they had my insurance information mixed up and would not timely bill or rebill the insurance company properly. I called SEVERAL times but since I had already paid for the service and since billing the insurance company would result in less money to them, they did not care. I ended up paying almost $1,000 more than I should have. I have not gone back...

Negative experience: The location on Moross pertaining to the receptionist needs better customer service skills. They keep you on hold and then are frustrated by questions asked. If the job don’t fit you find something else to do. Currently looking for another office.

Fantastic experience: I had my First experience at wow Dental. I had to have 6 tooth extractions today including all wisdom teeth and rotten teeth. Everyone on the staff and Randie the nurse who sedated me for the procedure was so kind. Thank God for all of u. Be blessed And I also had a deep cleaning on 7 -10-25 and Bobbi did my deep cleaning. I love her thank u Bobbi for all your patience and kindness with me. May God bless u and protect u all the days of your life.❤️

Negative experience: Don't go to WOW dental if you got Blue Cross they don't accept it when you get there they ask you about your insurance and then they tell you it's a copay because they don't accept

Fantastic experience: It’s an absolute pleasure when I come to wow dental I love the services I receive for myself and children First I came too see how they’ll treat me which was absolutely wonderful then I began to bring my children my youngest Caine is on the spectrum and was handled with care with BOBBIE SHE WAS PATIENT AND KIND AND EXPLAINED EVERY THING THAT SHE WAS DOING WITH HIM ON THE RETURN DATE WE DID MY TOW OLDEST MY DAUGHTER WAS ALWASYS SUPER SCARED BUT she felt so comfortable My oldest is ready for braces this is a one stop shop and they are very personable making us feel like family My son that’s on the spectrum have been bragging and ready to brush his teeth every hr Wow dental has my family excited about our dental journey

Fantastic experience: On 5/1/2025 was my initial visit to WOW DENTAL IMPLANT & COSMETIC. I was very pleased with the professionalism of all staff members. In addition, my wait time being called was way within reasonable. Also, I was extremely pleased to be treated in a clean environment. Their technology was very impressive! I was allowed reasonable time for a question and answer period. Once, Dr. K established clarity with a treatment plan that progressed with ease. I had dealt with a previous traumatic experience from years ago. Therefore, going to the dentist was difficult for me. However, the hygienist assured me that he would do everything possible to minimize any issues. I reluctantly placed a sense of trust in what he stated. Yes, the hygienist followed through on his word. I experienced very little discomfort. Thank you. Next, Dr. K came in and introduced himself. He to a reasonable amount of time to a brief Q&A protocol. We had clarity on the treatment plan. I was beyond nervous. Yet, Dr. K assured me that would have minimal issues. He frequently checked my level of discomfort. Once again, I was relieved that the amount of discomfort was so low. Finally, I left the dentist feeling ecstatic. I had a deep teeth cleaning. Yes, I had a crown put in as well. On a scale of 1-10. And 10 being the worst amount of pain. I would give the staff a 1.5. Thank you. WOW, Dental Implant & Cosmetic for beautiful experience.

Fantastic experience: Bobby was so good at doing my deep cleaning and my laser treatment for my gums. She was so patient with me. She did a very good job numbing me before the procedure. I would definitely recommend her if you were going for a deep cleaning she is awesome.

Positive experience: I’m a formal patient of wow dental I got upper denture 2000 my insurance company paid but I took out a loan for the gold on 4 teeth 4000 I’m still paying on them I got scratches on them in one week took them back had them on 2 times scratches was back I think it’s the gold they used I’m out of 4000 can’t smile without seeing the scratches I’m gonna sue them

Negative experience: I scheduled an appointment for 2pm didn’t get seen to 45 minutes later, they did a cleaning although I came for a chipped tooth. They lied and said I was not on the doctors side and they closed at 5 and had a lobby full of people and proceeded to tell me I would have to come back and reschedule. This establishment is solely here for the money. Very disappointed and if you want to waste time and get over charged and lied to go here. I will never come back to this dental office. Beware. I never write reviews but because I feel like they played in my face and was more interested in who was waiting in the lobby then completing my services, I had to. Do better. That is all and that is it. Sincerely a dissatisfied customer. #Ridiculous

Fantastic experience: I love this place, the doctors, and hygienist are so very kind and knowledgeable. Also, don’t let the location fool you (Moross) when you step inside the building you’ll feel like you are in a salon; from the equipment, cleanliness of the rooms, entertainment and the way that they “process” your arrival! It’s clear that the folks at WOW care about their patients. One thing that would make it better is if they would close/semi close the doors.

Fantastic experience: I only leave reviews when I feel like I can help the next person..If you have bad anxiety & nervous when it comes to getting dental work head on over to WOW. Lol seriously I had a root canal and 4 fillings all done at once by Dr. Wang and he was beyond patient with me. My anxiety was at an all time high I was nervous and scared of feeling the pain. I always knew the Doctors would take care of me from me previously working in both offices but Dr. Wang made me feel extremely safe & comfortable with no pain at all. He even wiped my tears for me! I’ll definitely be referring and coming back! I’ve always loved Dr. Hanna & Dr. K now I’ve added Dr. Wang! They’re the best!

She never heard me! All the other hygienists my whole life hurt me. I feel at home. Bobbi is very soothing and comforting. She is great and know what she’s doing. Experience is everything. Negative experience: Made the appointment online. Called to verify they took my insurance and the receptionist was very rude! I would have been a new patient and you lost me before I even came. Train your staff or get people who actually care and are respectful. How pitiful.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time at Wow Dental. I went to their new location on 8 Mile Road. Because I envisioned a more prominent building with curb appeal, I missed the office sign and had to circle back. However, once inside the office, I was completely enthralled. Everything was well designed, modern, and inviting. The entire office was neat, clean and orderly. The atmosphere was warm and pleasant. The receptionist was very patient, polite, and friendly. She helped me through the registration process and did not rush me through the paperwork. The hygienist was okay. The next time, I hope I am fortunate enough to have the hygienist everyone raves about. My dentist was very caring and skilled. He explained the procedure clearly and concisely. I wish I had jotted down the names of the staff members who attended me. However, all of them were extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. Now, let me boast a little about the state of the art X-ray machines. Absolutely amazing! There was no holding your breath or irritating noise. The machine did all the work—seamlessly, efficiently, and quietly. Likewise, the X-ray method used in the patient’s room is also state of the art. It’s like using a cordless scanner but so much more sophisticated. Now let me boast about the amenities in the patient’s room. The patient’s chair (lounger) was well cushioned and comfortable. The chair also functioned as a heated back massager—so nice! The new Roku TV was another wonderful amenity. Although the state of the art technology, comfortable cushy loungers and wonderful decor made a great environment, the wonderful support, service, and smiles made for a memorable visit. Indeed, the knowledgeable staff, the professionalism, and the pleasant atmosphere made my first visit seem like a dream. Thank you for being the best at what you do!!

I had a wonderful first time experience, I was afraid at first because I don’t like pain but after talking to Jazmine who helped me to get an appointment right away and took really good care of me and to the staff who talk me through the procedure to make me feel safe and comfortable as well I felt no pain afterwords they were really friendly I really do appreciate them so much I truly recommend Wow Dental and thank the dentist and the staff for everything.
