Fantastic experience: Livonia Dental is the absolute best! The staff is amazing, the doctors are wonderful, the tech’s and hygienist are fantastic and knowledgeable as well! No pain, and I don’t mind going to the dentist anymore! Highly highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: First time I had this particular hygienist unfortunately I don’t recall her name. I’m sorry. She did a fantastic Job. Very pleasant environment.

Positive experience: I saw Dr. Jay in November- I had suddenly started having some sensitivity to a tooth. I was able to get in within a couple days. The receptionist was very friendly and engaging. I believe your front office staff can either make or break your office with their personality. Dr. Jay was so nice and very calming. I had been with a different dentist for 18 years and sadly he’s retiring- I had to find someone new, in the local area- So this was creating some anxiety for me- Dr. Jay listened, looked at the tooth, recommended that I have some dental work to fill in the area where there was some sensitivity, receding of the gums and that I use Sensodyne for the sensitivity- The Sensodyne worked within one day. And almost 2 months later I’ve not had any issue. But, two weeks later, I went in to have the tooth work done.The Dentist that saw me, wonderful young lady and I wish I remembered her name, recommended that if the Sensodyne was working and I wasn’t having any issues or pain that we not do anything with the tooth, as there was nothing wrong with the tooth- The crown or filling that was already on the tooth was completely intact and looked great- I’m not going to lie, I was surprised about her approach because She could have done the filling, and made money for the sake of making money- I wouldn’t have known if the tooth looked great or not- Dr. Jay had already given his professional opinion, so I had scheduled the appointment- I appreciated her honesty! I was so thankful to not have to have any procedure- There aren’t many places that would have this kind of approach or integrity…Having family and friends who are in the field and having worked in it…This approach isn’t typical- I applaud any Dr. who will put patient before $$- My only concern were the treatment chairs- They seem worn and not secure- Both times I felt uneasy sitting down /getting up- Like I was going to fall- On the second visit the arm pad of the chair fell off twice- They also seem to be going through some staff transitioning- changes- Online seemed to list different staff than what appeared to be listed in the office-

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Livonia Dental Care. Sonja, my Hygienist was very kind, she put me at ease and did an outstanding job cleaning my teeth.The Dentist was also nice and I felt very much at ease and I had an overall good experience. Thank you to all the staff and I would highly recommend this Dentist office, especially Sonja, my Hygienist, she did a great job and was very professional in her attitude towards me. Negative experience: Fairly nice staff. Be ware of their recommendations on large dental procedure’s. Get a second opinion. They like to overstate problems to sell unnecessary work like crowns. Don’t trust them!

Fantastic experience: My hygienist was very good and thorough. Dr Sarah was very pleasant and did a thorough exam. My only complaint is the cost of the cleaning for my wife and I. When we had last cleaning and filling and crowns we got money lowered because we don’t have dental insurance. This time my wife asked and was told we don’t do discounts. We are seniors and money is tight on social security. I will look around to see if can save some money.

Negative experience: This place is very expensive. They wanted to charge me over $600 for the first visit which I would have had to pay $116 after my insurance but then the receptionist said they have new patient deal for $79.99 with no insurance needed. I was also placed o hold for an extended period of time and they did not answer my initial call and called me back.

Negative experience: I have 2 wait 3 1/2 wks 2 be seen by another DDS as my new dentist didn't know what to do..my tooth broke in half..I just wanted the rest of my tooth removed..now iha e 2 suffer for 31/2 wks.. not happy

For years I put off much needed dental work out of fear but Livonia Dental Care helped me face those fears. My experience was painless and stress free. Fantastic experience: When my old dentist sold his practice, I needed to get a dentist closer to home. I Googled “dentists for cowards” and Livonia Dental came up first. They are so patient and so nice there. I recommend them to everybody.

Negative experience: This place just seems like a training hub for the dentists and hygienists. Since I've been going here, (7 +/- years) I don't believe I've seen the same people. Now this wasn't a HUGE issue, doesn't feel personal, but not a huge issue if policies and procedures were always the same and followed, however that isn't the case. Hell, if the dentists cared and we're all on the same page it'd be nice. Time before last, I went in to get A cavity filled. When I got there, not only were we doing a different tooth than I thought, the dentist said he's unsure of my history and the paperwork says we're doing this other tooth. Cut too, my tooth now has a large gap in it causes severe pain (which there was never any to begin with), and the kicker; I go in for my next cleaning and this new dentist tells me that that tooth absolutely needs a crown. It's in rough shape and don't know why it was left like that. So now they want me to pay for a crown on pop of the cavity that was just done. Oh and let's not talk about the crown that they already put on. Again, another random dentist did my crown and There's been sensitivity in it since day one. Every time I've asked about it they've told me I need to go somewhere else now and get a root canal. This office just seems like they're doing work to set me up for more work. I will not be going back

Negative experience: It has been exactly 10 years since I had work done here and not a day goes by that it doesn't bother me. I was talked into having my amalgam filling replaced with composite, but they drilled deep and didn't fill the tooth enough. The cusp of my premolar is so unnaturally deep it barely functions as a tooth. When I returned with concerns they just drilled it deeper so food wouldn't get stuck, but the opposite happens. I never saw the same dentist twice. They tried to talk me into a root canal, but I didn't get it. Turns out I never needed one! Shameful.

Fantastic experience: I went and saw Ashe this week at Livonia Dental Care. Ashe was very thorough and kind, taking time to explain what she was doing as she was doing it, making sure that any questions or concerns that I had were addressed/explained. She made it quite obvious that she is very passionate about what she does and is very knowledgeable about her field of work. I felt completely at ease in her chair and really enjoyed my time there.

Positive experience: If you wanna get your tooth pull out , stay away from this place, Natalie trynna to kill me , literally this lady pulling my tooth out and I can feel every single pain, and she is giving me attitude for feeling the pain, it hurts so much I can feel it in my brain, thought I was gonna die, .then she refer me to a different pace so they can put me to sleep, instead I call a different dental office in less than 5 seconds that doctor pulled out my tooth and me I opened my ready to feel that pain again and then the doctor said you're done , I'm like what , let me see, I was shocked. NATALIE is good at cleaning teeth but keep her away from pulling teeth out. lord

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE SEEN! Got there 30 mins before my scheduled appointment, I watched 3 people who came after me be called back, I asked the ladies at the desk about it and when will I get called back, the excuse “it’s different hygienist, depends on who your seeing” oh ok but still no one got up to let the hygienist know I’ve been waiting or even see how long it’ll be, now 20 mins after my scheduled appointment, I get up the lady at the desk turn to who I only can assume is the Dentist and said “oh she was waiting to be seen” that’s weird cause I brought that to her attention 10-15 mins ago. Ended with me just leaving, not being able to get my basic cleaning. I will not be back. Service suck and obviously they don’t care about their jobs or the people coming to get help. Would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Brittany the dental hygienist was awesome as well as the staff. Only doctors office I enjoy going to.

Negative experience: Came in and scheduled to have work done after cleaning. Date set and day of they change the time last minute. When finally there for my appointment I have a different Dr and told after an examination there was no plan on doing any work on the needed fillings. Waste of time from my work and walked out. I will find a new dentist office that can communicate and not change Dr's in me in the middle of treatment.

Fantastic experience: New patient, needed a cleaning and check up, it's been a long time between dental visits. I was over joyed with Kathleen my hygienist , so pleasant and nice, she had her work cut out for her. The whole experience was awesome, the office staff very nice, pleasant, knowledgeable, the dentist was very professional and caring, first time ever that a dental visit for me was calm, pain free, and pleasant. Would highly recommend Livonia Dental Care! Had to have a crown put in place, have had many over the years, never found it exciting, just uncomfortable with the grinding and numbing needles; that is until the other day. Dr Jay and his assistant were just awesome, new technology was used (to me anyway) with the numbing process and the drilling out of the old tooth. They need to use a lot of water to keep the drill cool, that was the hardest part for me, kept feeling like I would choke, but Dr Jay stopped numerous times for me to spit it out and feel comfortable. Over all, it was a great experience, I just love this dental group! Thank you Dr Jay and staff Another great visit to this dental office for a cleaning. My hygienist, Madeline was just great. Great staff, going back for a filling replacement in a few short weeks. So happy I found this dental group, thank you! A great dental office! They work very hard to give you a wonderful smile! Love these people!

Fantastic experience: This was my first time here…my dental hygienist Ashley was so amazing with checking in if I’m uncomfortable, she was super thorough with everything she was doing and honestly this was the most comfortable cleaning I have ever had! The dentist was awesome as well, she checked over my old dental work to see if it was all still good…plus the prices you can’t beat for not having dental insurance!

Negative experience: I was going to get invisalign paid for the whole procedure 5300. My second appointment was cancelled by them not me. I was not able to make another appointment with them do to circumstances. I opted out of the procedure and was told I would not receive the whole amount back. They are keeping 1700 of my money and I don't have anything to show for this. I have been ripped off and will not return to this place again.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience. The only thing that needs attention is the setting on the water flow for the instrument used by hygienist to clean my teeth, or it needs to be checked for a leak. The hair on the back side of my head was wet when I got out of the chair so that needs to be checked.

Fantastic experience: After searching for months, Livonia Dental was able to get me in for an appointment when no one else could. It was well worth it. My hygenist Sonya was AMAZING!!! Fantastic experience: Today was my first time meeting Sonya, my new hygienist at Livonia Dental Clinic. She is exceptional at what she does. My teeth felt so clean when she finished and no more gritty sand feeling when done! Sonya was so easy to talk to and I felt like I had a deeper connection with her, probably I'm a little closer in age to her then most of the other hygienists I've seen. Sonya has such a sweet manner and I am just so happy that she is my new hygienist!

Fantastic experience: Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and courteous! The hygienists always take time to talk you through your exam, cleaning and x-rays. The dentists take their time with their patients and thoroughly explain any procedures or instructions clearly. The office staff is just great at scheduling, insurance and service. Chairs are quite comfy and the office is technologically up-to-date. The waiting room is comfy, inviting and they offer Kuerig drinks while you wait or to go! If you have dental anxiety like my husband and I do, they work with you and offer sedated services if needed, but they are so great we’ve never had to ask for. Livonia Dental is by far my favorite dentist!!

Fantastic experience: I have been a long-time patient -- over 30 years -- with Dr. Jay. The office has up-to-date technology and treatment and every single person in the office treats me like a family member. They are concerned with my comfort and care. Jennifer is the best hygienist. I am concerned, thought, about who will be my dentist now that Dr. Jay has retired.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Livonia Dental Care for years and have been very happy there. Everyone is always very friendly and helpful. Jennifer, the hygienist, is great! I feel like I'm visiting with an old friend when I have my appointment with her. And, Dr. Jay is caring and professional. He always calls to check in the day after any dental procedures such as crowns or large fillings. My whole family goes to Livonia Dental Care and I highly recommend them to everyone. When my older daughter had to have some teeth pulled for her braces, we were so nervous about it but Dr. Jay was great. She didn't feel a thing. And, when my younger daughter broke both of her front teeth on the playground, at school, they got us in right away and were able to fix them perfectly. Again, she felt no pain. They made a very stressful situation much more tolerable. Her teeth look great. Update: Still love Livonia Dental Care. I saw Sonya today for my cleaning and she was wonderful!! I usually am so tense during my appointments but I was so relaxed that I was daydreaming during my cleaning! lol! Sonya was so genuine, caring and professional!

Fantastic experience: This is the best Dentist office I've ever been to. The dental hygienists are all so nice and the ones I've seen have been very thorough but also very gentle. The dentist is also very nice. I haven't had any major work done by them, only cleanings.

Negative experience: Routine cleaning was good, but they did a panoramic image witch I thought was a routine Xray, at checkout, I get told I owe $125 for special Xray that is not covered by my insurance!!! This would have been nice to know prior to Xray so I could make an informed decision. Not a good way to do business!!!!! I am not happy with this and questioning continued use of thier services !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: This is a new office for me as my previous dentist retired and I did not like the multiple replacement dentists. Also, there was a mass exodus of hygienists. Livonia Dental Care has a friendly and efficient staff. Scheduling a convenient appointment was easy. The decor is subdued and very relaxing. My hygienist was gentle and explained each step so there were no surprises and performed an oral cancer screening. Dr. Brent performed a thorough exam and provided advice on maintaining oral health. He was genuinely interested in my health and goals of care. He also has a great personality. I have found a new dental home. ❤️

Dr. Jay recommended a procedure that I declined, yet there was no pressure and I still got great care. I recommend this office!

Fantastic experience: Went in for the first time at this dentist to have decayed tooth evaluated. Dentist took xray and tooth was pretty well gone. Dentist gave me antibiotics and hooked me up with Oral Surgeon. After I get this fixed I'll be going back for all my dental needs. Very friendly staff as well as Dentist. Thank You. Again.

Fantastic experience: The best dental office! I have a pretty high pain tolerance but my dental experiences in my childhood were rough- white-knuckled. That stays with me. Without any numbing agent, the hygenists are extraordinarily gentle...and friendly! The dentists are out of this world. I could not recommend more.

Once you go to Livonia Dental Care, you will never want to go to another Dental Office. Dr. Brent did a replacement crown and it fit perfectly! He did a fantastic job! This is the best Dentist Office!I won't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jay at this facility IS THE BEST! During and after treatment he checks on your progress. He seems to really be concerned. His bedside manner is GREAT. I went to a different dental office that was closer to me and have since left that location to return to Livonia Dental.

Fantastic experience: My 3 year old came for her first dentist appointment last week. Beth was very kind and sweet. My daughter sat for the whole cleaning and check-up which was incredible since she usually panics when doctors check her mouth. Ever since she’s been telling people she wants to be a dentist when she grows up. I would absolutely recommend this dentist, especially for families.

Fantastic experience: I changed to Livonia Dental Care several years ago. I had a lot of anxiety about the dentist due to years of painful experiences at other places. Dr. Jay and his entire practice are phenomenal! They are professional, personable and so efficient! I now have painless dentistry with Dr.Jay. They utilize new technology and practices to make it a great experience! All of the hygienists are wonderful. Ashe is my favorite because she understood and was so very patient when I fist started going to Livonia Dental Care. She is extremely thorough, and so good at what she does! I highly recommend this practice!

Fantastic experience: Livonia Dental Care is absolutely the best. I became a patient back in August of 2023, the day I had my first visit I was very impressed ! The office staff were very friendly and professional . I was very nervous because I needed quite a bit of work however after meeting Dr.Brent I felt like I had come to the right place, he explained the process to me every step of the way and always made sure that I was comfortable. I'm so pleased with the final results. I can't stop smiling.
