Fantastic experience: I am a new patient coming in because of an impacted tooth and infection/inflammation. They were able to accommodate me right away. The staff are very friendly and professional. Dr Daniel explained the treatment plan thoroughly, providing me options and treatments that are best suited for me and within my budget. All in all a wonderful experience!

This place had great reviews and they were quick to respond. I was able to schedule quickly, they took her within days and the dental hygienist, Addy, was amazing! Office is clean, staff is friendly and they use up to date technology which impressed me. Highly recommend this office!

Positive experience: I've been visiting this office exclusively for around 30 years and have watched it grow to its current state. Had I posted this review when Dr. Czubiak was the only dentist to work on me, I would have easily given it 5 stars... and to this day, the staff there remain friendly and professional (certainly deserving of better than 3 stars). But the reason I go to the dentist is to identify and address dental issues, hopefully before they become more involved (and expensive) problems. My care since Dr. Czubiak left has been less than satisfactory, having resulted in missed cavities that turned into needed root canals or extractions. The priority seemed to have shifted to just getting you in for frequent cleanings (and I mean very frequent; above what insurance covered) as opposed to a thorough, regular exam at least annually. Part of the problem was not having a 'regular' dentist to work with as I found myself calling to schedule an appointment with my dentist (Dr. Czubiak) only to be seen by whoever was available. Even after specifying I only wished to be seen by a particular dentist, I would still find myself scheduled with a new dentist I had never met before. After a rough stretch with Dr. Edie following Dr. Czubiac's departure from practice (a letter would have been nice), I am now working with Dr. Daniel. I hope to maintain the relationship till my death, provided the focus is on taking care of my teeth by identifying and correcting problems before they become even bigger problems, as opposed to just simply cleaning them and letting that suffice for 'total dental care'.

I am really sensitive to cold water and they use warm water when cleaning your teeth. They told me things about my breathing and mouth that I've never heard before. Fantastic experience: Camarillo Smiles has been the go-to Dentist for our family for many years. People are warm and friendly, and services and technology are top notch. Sarah recently replaced some attachment points for my Spark aligners. She explained everything that she was going to do step by step, and the outcome was perfect.

She explained everything to my son in a way that wasn't overwhelming and age appropriate. She spoke to him and included him in the treatment plan. Fantastic experience: This was my very first visit to CAMARILLO SMILES! I have been driving to Encino for many years to see my dentist because I followed him around wherever he went. But he retired recently so I felt like I needed to change and not drive so far. However, my dentist had the latest and greatest equipment, and he was even on a TV show where he changed people’s lives by fixing their teeth. So I wanted to find a place that also had the latest and greatest technology. CAMARILLO SMILES is the spot! I had my teeth cleaned by Brooke who is amazing! She reviewed all my paperwork along with my x-rays sent over by my previous dental office and sat with me to look over everything with her and explained it all. She is very thorough and caring, and I was very impressed with her knowledge! Dr Ameen then came in to examine my teeth/gums and seemed to sincerely care about the health of my mouth. He also went over everything with me and explained it all thoroughly. Overall, I am super excited about this new dental office, their technology and their staff. They found a forever patient! I am going to include a picture of my teeth because I was super amazed of how they looked when Brooke finished me!

Fantastic experience: Super thrilled that I was connected with Dr. Rebekah Edhe due to an urgent care situation. After being to my dentist during regular hours, who was not able to detect that I had a cracked tooth, Dr. Edhe looked at my X-rays and asked what symptoms i had been experiencing and based on that she said that it could be one of two things. First, a cracked tooth that she really couldn’t detect with the images she was able to get or that I would be needing a root canal. She referred me to an endodontist who confirmed that I did have a cracked tooth. So thankful for Dr. Edhe’s intuition and level of care. That being said, I felt compelled to switch to her practice. I am so happy I did. Her and the staff there (from front desk receptionist, to hygienist) are kind, professional and thorough.

Fantastic experience: Just had my semi-annual cleaning, inspection and review. I always look forward to my appointment with my hygienist, she truly cares about her patients, is very caring and executes the greatest attention to detail. Camarillo Smiles is always on time with their patients, I think I sat down for 2 minutes before I was taken into the exam room. I know it's funny, but I actually look forward to appointments at Camarillo Smiles , it's always a good experience.

Negative experience: Ah, the good old days when Dr. Czubiak ran this place like a well-oiled dental drill. Back then, you could get a cleaning without selling a kidney, and they actually accepted insurance like a normal medical office. Fast forward to today—got a call from the hygienist, not to confirm my appointment, but to casually inform me that they no longer accept my insurance. I can only assume their new business model is "cash or barter system." Maybe I should show up with a goat and see if that covers a cleaning? Honestly, this place has gone so far downhill it might as well be a ski resort. Dr. Czubiak, if you're reading this, please, for the love of molars, come back!
