Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this dental office for 6 years. I have never had better care, service, and overall excellent experiences at each and every visit. I have had a few emergencies with my teeth and my anxiety about the procedures and stress about the cost has always been addressed and resolved quickly and this business is always willing to work with you. Especially at my last visit this week I had the pleasure of meeting a new dentist to the practice, Dr Love, who went above and beyond in helping resolve my current issues. At check out, the practice administrator Savannah Johnson truly made my day when we spoke of ways to resolve my dental issues that would be more cost effective to me and the best outcome for my dental health. Her friendliness and sincere concern for me was something that you don't often find these days. The entire office is a place I would recommend to anyone!

Fantastic experience: If you need any type of dental work, then you HAVE to go to Buckhead Cosmetic & Family Dentistry. Firstly, Dr. Zinney and Dr. Khan are absolute professionals. Seriously, I don’t say that lightly. I hate dental work and always have severe anxiety before going to the dentist but the doctors and their team here are really great at putting you at ease, making sure you feel comfortable, and getting the procedure done quickly and painlessly. I’m literally writing this outside the office after a root canal and it was no worse than a regular cleaning.

Negative experience: I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience with Dr. Faith Volpe at Buckhead Cosmetic & Family Dentist, especially for anyone considering treatment beyond a cleaning. I went in with no pain, no visible issues, and was told during a routine visit that I needed multiple fillings across both sides of my mouth. I had no symptoms and was hesitant, but eventually agreed to let them start “part one” of their treatment plan. After the first filling, part of it fell out within three days. I went back in, was numbed again, and the dentist claimed it was fixed but the tooth still didn’t feel right. The contact point between the teeth was never properly sealed. Floss slides right through. The tooth remains sore, and I’ve had to completely avoid chewing on that side. I was numbed twice in one week, and still didn’t get a proper result. I finally requested my X-rays and clinical notes and then found out that Dr. Volpe’s last day at the practice was the very same day I called to request records. I’ve since gone to another dentist for a second opinion. At this point, I deeply regret allowing any treatment at this office. I should have trusted my gut and walked away. If you’re being told you need multiple fillings but have no symptoms get a second opinion before letting anyone drill into a healthy tooth. I trusted the reputation and appearance of this practice, and I regret it.

Negative experience: DON'T BE FOOLED BY THEIR 4.9 REVIEW. If I could give them a 0 star I would. I want to advise people a few different reasons why they should not go here. First, it is super hard to get ahold of the front desk. I have tried a few times to call them and they don't answer or they are on lunch break.....Also, closed on the weekends and close at 4 during the week... Second, the practice owner informed me that I needed to get a crown done for my tooth and I listened to her medical advice. We proceeded with the crown. I covered my share and my insurance was supposed to cover the remaining amount. However, after appealing the claim multiple times with my insurance, they said my tooth did not show enough decay for me to need a crown. So, I really did not need a crown even though my dr scared me into getting one because she quote on quote said "There is a lot of decay from my old filling. If I don't get it removed, it may reach the nerve of my tooth." Those words scared me because I did not want to get a root canal down the line. Never less, I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT THERE. I felt like I got scammed. And they will never see another penny from me.

Negative experience: This dentist's office is no longer under Dr. Nia. The level of service has indeed changed. The dentist checked my teeth before my cleaning instead of afterward, as it has always been done my entire life. The hygienist allowed water to roll down my chin, and she did not provide me with a wipe for my mouth after my fluoride treatment. Overall, it was not the same experience I had before the new Dentist took over. I wish them the best, but I will be going elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I have anxiety about the dentist and had avoided going for several years. But one must be an adult and get your luxury mouth bones taken care of. So I made an appointment with this office at the advice of a colleague who found them to be low stress. I nearly chickened out on the day of the appointment due to anxiety. But I went and I’m so glad I did. It was a great experience, as far as dentist appointments go. The location is easy to get to with ample parking right at the front door. The facility was clean and beautiful. The staff was so nice and considerate. They put me at ease from the moment I walked in the door and through every stage. They explained everything they were doing and gave me the opportunity to pause if I was overwhelmed. The exam, X-rays, and cleaning were gentle and as low stress as possible. The doctor showed me my X-rays on a big screen and explained everything nicely. I was not pressured to buy anything I didn’t want. They provided me with some options, asked for my thoughts, and did not try to upsell anything. At the end, the visit (new patient exam, full X-rays, cleaning, and fluoride treatment) was much cheaper than I expected. There was absolutely no reason for me to have avoided this appointment for so long. And now I have fresh clean healthy teeth. Yay! Highly recommend this office and the lovely staff there.

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I decided to visit Buckhead Cosmetic and Family Dentistry as a referral by my daughter’s friend. We are so elated that we did! The office is impeccable! Very modern and high tech. From the moment you enter the staff is absolutely wonderful! Very warm, friendly, and welcoming. They certainly make you feel special! The wait time from entering to being seen is very minimal. I don’t know that I’ve been to an office where your time is so valued. The doctors are very knowledgeable and the entire staff is great! Negative experience: I did research online and find Dr. William is expert in dental implant. Then, I called the office many times from last week and try to schedule an appointment. There was a lady called me back once and said she will call me the next day morning. But she never called back. Then I keep calling. It always asks either leaving a message or waiting for the next available customer service…. This is my first time seeing such dental office on Google map has many reviews but they don’t even take the call from customers…. Making me thinking if it’s really a credible office…

Negative experience: It's an okay dental office. It could be better or worse. They don't seem to have made any major mistakes in caring for my teeth (out of 4 total visits), and might be an okay choice for people without complicated dental health histories who just want to get to watch tv relatively comfortably during the visit (though sonetimes they forget to turn on the tv and usually you dont get offered the option to change channels or adjust volume). The best experience I had was the special attention to comfort I was given during my first visit, which unfortunately didn't continue to be provided in any subsequent visits. Their counseling is just okay: when I recently asked my hygienist for additional details about care she was unable to provide any and didn't even try to check for such information or ask anybody else, instead repeating the same vague counseling sentences she parroted immediately before I asked. The dentists themselves are better (more considerate) and obviously more knowledgeable with counseling, but the hygienists should make more of an effort to find out more if they dont understand and reach out to a dentist if they don't know or can't figure it out. Out of 4 visits, this office remembered to give me the customary goodie bag of dental supplies one time (and it wasn't at the first visit). The staff at this office that sees me (both the hygenist and the dentist) is different at every visit, and none so far seem to take note or ever consider any special considerations I've mentioned of importance to me in prior visits (or when scheduling prior visits) and also seem unaware of each others clinical abilities/comfort, which makes me feel like a number at this dental office and makes it's increasingly difficult to trust that im getting the quality of care I'm used to with my relatively complex dental health history in this setting. As someone with dental prosthetic implants status post autoaccident, I strongly prefer to at least get a brief but specific assessment and commentary on my prosthetics at every dental visit to make sure they're still doing okay. This assessment doesn't seem to happen unless I explicitly ask for it at this dental office. I was originally counseled to floss a very specific way to best/most gently care for my dental prosthetic at my prior prosthedontist's office, which I'm not sure the hygienists or dentists here are aware of or ever consider, but it's important to me and bugs me when I get flossed a different way without even discussing this first.

We've been coming here for over a year now, and while it is on the pricier side, I can’t praise the entire team enough. This review is long overdue! A special huge thank you to Dr. Vanessa, Dr. Nia, Dr. Zinney, Tiffany, Alma, Suly, and Ashley (I might be forgetting a few). Each of them is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable but also incredibly kind, patient, and compassionate. My mom went from being terrified of the dentist to actually looking forward to her treatments. Dr. Zinney, in particular, performed her first major procedure last year, and I can’t say enough great things about him—he’s an outstanding periodontist who personally called the same day to check on her. Tiffany, the hygienist, is absolutely amazing—so patient, gentle, and thorough. She takes the time to ensure my mom is comfortable throughout the entire process, making it the best cleaning she’s ever had. We continue coming back to her, appreciating her expertise and warmth! Negative experience: Not very professional practice here. All the staff seem like they don’t know what they are doing here except scamming patients. I’m so disappointed. They are going to try to up charge you as much as possible with unnecessary treatments. Treating me like this is my first dental visit ever in my entire life. When I asked to get my X-rays transferred to another clinic it took at least two weeks. They don’t really care about patients here, just a very expensive dentist because of their location.

Fantastic experience: I drive 1.5 hours from Canton, GA to see Dr. Nia and her awesome staff at Buckhead Cosmetic & Family Dentistry! I’ve always had anxiety about going to the dentist. However, from the moment you step through the door and until you leave, it’s such an easy and enjoyable experience. Everyone you interact with is so kind and excited to see you. You literally cannot help but feel relaxed and comfortable, especially since they have two flat screens in every room! One on the wall and one on the ceiling. I’m a researcher, so I’ve researched the top rated dentists in GA. If you’re a researcher like me, I can save you some time and encourage you to go ahead and make that appointment!

Fantastic experience: Update- came in for an implant removal and Dr. Zinney was extremely professional and caring! ! His entire team was careful and supportive during this experience! Dr. Called me on the same day to check on me and make sure I was doing alright! FYI: (implant was made somewhere else years ago). I absolutely love going to the dentist! The entire team is super nice and energetic! The Staff are. Ice and helpful throughout the entire process from consultation to procedures. Dr Nia cares about her patients and and her staff. During this pandemic, they are making sure to sanitize and keep their clients and staff members safe. I have never enjoyed going to the dentist until now! Thanks guys! Keep up the good work!

Negative experience: Don't be fooled by the reviews. This clinic leads with their awards and accolades but does not reinforce that with personalized care to patients. I take great care of my dental health and was surprised to learn from their assessment that I needed 3 expensive crowns. They insisted they needed to take place within a few months. Luckily, I got a second opinion from another clinic who denounced their assessment, stating that not only did i not need the crowns but I had not even one cavity or area of concern. They should be ashamed. Oh and a year after leaving their clinic I'm still receiving bills, for what.... who knows. Don't waste your time! Find a more honorable clinic that isn't clout chasing.

Negative experience: I was injured at this practice and wanted to hear from the proprietor Dr. Bahar Nia that she cared or was at least concerned. Instead my calls were screened and all I got was a recording and no return calls from anyone. This is the worst and most unprofessional dental practice I have ever been to. I was treated roughly, injured, disrespected and no return from the anyone. It wasn't until I made a complaint against Dr. Nia's license that my phone call was answered and I was allowed to get my stitches taken out. This practice has great hype with magazines on the walls with articles about Dr. Nia, and a posting on the top denists of Atlanta. Admittedly I was convinced by the glitter at first, but the reality is quite different. It just goes to show what money can buy.

At first meet she put me at ease and was a very kind comforting person. Also taking more time to give me options and explain; though I think she might have to go over them again. Fantastic experience: I have been going here for a few years now; however, this last visit was so valuable I want to share it. Out of the blue my beautiful teeth and gums started bleeding a lot. Chris, intake, and Tiffany, the dental hygienist, were incredible. They went through each procedure together working as a team leaving nothing to chance. Then in no time Dr. Volpe came in and assessed. She was so kind and respected my desire for holistic medicine. Each of them spoke so kindly to me and gave me a diagnosis. I cannot say enough for the gentleness, incredible service, and professionalism I experienced with this team. Thank you.

Negative experience: Was really looking forward to having my Virtual consult today. I read the reviews on this practice and they are great, so I was excited about becoming a patient. I kept checking to see if a link was sent for the VC or some other communication. I didn't see anything so I was like let me reach out to the office since my appt is in a half an hour. I called the office and was politely informed that the service to offer VCs was not working but I could book an in office consult for $195 that was due today if I wanted to schedule. I declined because my original consilt was going to be free not $195. Plus the link to book on your website is still showing as a free VC. I am kind of upset because no one ever reached out to me to let me know that I wasn't even going to have a vurtual consult today at all, I had to be the one to reach out to your office to see about my appointment. Then it was just like oh well you can book an in office for $195. I just wasn't expecting this kind of service from a company with such excellent reviews. Communication needs to be improved.

The staff is so skilled and talented. Fantastic experience: Astounding is just one word to describe my experience. I went for a cleaning and general exam as a new patient and I was given a brief tour of the prestine back rooms and guided through every step of what would be happening throughout my visit including breakdowns of what everything would cost. Everyone was super friendly, I was seen promptly at my appointment time, and I was on my way in about an hour and a half. 10/10 stars if I could give them.

Fantastic experience: As a new patient, I was impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. The office is nice and equipped with the latest dental technology. My hygienist, Lauren, was wonderful and made me feel at ease. A high level of care and attention was shown to me during my visit. Dr. Nia is kind, personable, patient and thorough. I appreciated how she took time to explain and make sure I had a complete understanding of my oral health. My overall experience has been positive.

Fantastic experience: I came for a cleaning and had a great experience. Tiffani was my hygienist and was excellent, professional, and very nice. I then had a wisdom tooth extracted the next week by Dr. Zinney and he was assisted by Kimmy (both were excellent). I barely felt the numbing medicine and procedure went so smoothly. I was back to normal life very quickly. The whole staff was professional, pleasant, and they are very organized. The office is beautiful and clean. It was a great experience overall.

Fantastic experience: A 10/10 experience. It’s comfortable; I mean there are TVs on the ceiling. The staff was professional and the appointment was on time. Their billing is organized. Without me prompting them, they recommended things I could do to improve my smile while staying as natural as possible. This place can be hard to get an appointment but after my experience I understand why. They make dental experiences enjoyable. I’m going to recommend everyone I know to see them.

The office is beautiful and safety measures are set in place to protect clients and the staff , The assistant walked me through the entire process, assisted me with my x rays, and showed me an overall view of my teeth and some potential corrections I may need. Doctor Nia, who is amazing by the way, provided me with an extended explanation of the work I would need done to achieve the result I desired. Absolutely recommend. 10/10.

The doctors are experienced and highly skilled, and I found each doctor to be very personable. The entire remaining team is also completely professional, helpful, and kind. All members of this office make it clear through their actions that patient care and comfort are truly their top priority. As someone who has never been a fan of the dentist, I can say with total honesty that I enjoy going here. I cannot recommend this practice enough!

Fantastic experience: Truly an experience from when I walked in to when I left. It was my first time going today. I felt very taken care of, the facility feels open, clean, and modern. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and very efficient. It’s the details that elevated this experience—warm cloth to wipe my face, water refreshment, TVs on the ceiling and headphones to help block out the noise. I’ve already referred so many of my friends and family.

Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. The dental room is state of the art from the ceiling TVs to the headsets. And the neck pillows are super comfortable! My dental hygienist, Tiffany, is awesome! She makes you feel comfortable and is super friendly. Dr. Nia is so personable, friendly and very thorough. I can’t speak highly enough about this office! Update: since I can’t add a second review, I had to edit my review from 3 years ago. Three years later, the level of service and professionalism hasn’t faltered. Fantastic experience: I had a great first experience at Buckhead Dentistry. Everyone was very pleasant and welcoming. The assistant Chris and Hygienist Lauren were patient, respectful.c and understanding. Everyone took the time to discuss my oral health with me and answered any questions that I had. This was the least painful dental cleaning that I have had!! The hygienist did a deep cleaning and I did not even know!! I appreciate their attention to detail and care. The office is very comfortable and accommodating and headphones for the TV were a plus!

I can blame the pandemic but really - it's because I have this inherent fear of the dentist and - probably a tinge of laziness. BUT - all of my fears were put aside the minute I walked in the door at Buckhead Cosmetic & Family Dentistry. The staff greets you so warmly and with a smile. Velvet, my hygienist today, was a joy to be around and tender in her touch. Dr. Nia just radiates sunshine when you're in her presence. Together, her and Velvet gave me a full understanding of what I need to work on and why, and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Lastly, Amanda, a Treatment Coordinator, served me with the utmost professionalism and care. She thoroughly explained my treatment plan and the cost involved, making sure I felt comfortable with all of the details before moving forward. All in all, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I can't wait to go back for my further treatment. I promise if you're looking for a place to go for your oral health, this is the place for you.
