Negative experience: Scheduling process first time patient - multiple but pleasant calls . Appointment given within a day. Wait time 10mins - dentist very friendly. Why still 2 stars? Because FILTHIEST office very very very unhygienic all around. Toooooo crowded. Unfortunately I won’t be going back and will not recommend unless they clean up

Fantastic experience: Loved our visit to Tender Smiles 4 Kids! Nicole the hygienist was great with my 14-year-old—she explained everything clearly and went over dental care so well. Dr. Lad was incredibly patient with my 1-year-old during her very first visit. Both kids left smiling! Highly recommend for families with kids of all ages.

Negative experience: We visited clinic on 31/12/2024 and questioned about my son front tooth and they said they are erupting now 6 months has been passed and tooth still not erupted. All the staff and doctor were in hurry and couldn't wait to leave. They handed over the list tooth that must be extracted and no other alternatives. I will not recommend this to anyone.

Negative experience: Had me wait an hour for a scheduled appointment. They didn’t allow me to see the dentist for some questions I had about my son’s teeth. Pressure you into paying for unnecessary procedures. I was then called few days later and spoken to so nastily for having an opinion great business they’re running . Definitely never going back and steering anyone else from this racist place

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lad was amazing with our son’s surgery. She walked us through the process and made everyone comfortable. My son’s teeth look great and she made sure to thoroughly explain what happened during his procedure. She walked us through an aftercare plan to ensure he was comfortable at home and how to further prevent any other cavities in the future. I highly recommend Dr. Lad.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking my triplets to this dentist for a few years now. I travel over 30 minutes but my kids are comfortable and it’s worth it! The team are professional, knowledgeable and patient. I’m so glad I found a great dentist to treat my children.

My daughter was having infection on gums I called the practice and got the appointment very quick took her they did the x-ray and find out her adult tooth is coming but her baby teeth is still their they did the extraction on the same appointment and she’s feeling much better now. Best experience ever.

The dentists always explain things thoroughly to me after their visits. I feel like I am part of their dental plans and all options are provided before final decisions are made.

Negative experience: I have been bringing my son here since he was 1.5 years old . He missed his 6 month appointment in November due to me losing my insurance from my job . I just received new insurance and called to make an appointment and they Are supposedly booked out until December. That is totally unacceptable and the first time I called I wasn’t even offered to be placed on a wait list . I like this practice but unfortunately I will have to move my child to another dentist. I received no letter in the mail/email from Ben offering to reschedule his appointment as he is overdue.

Negative experience: I loved the dentist they treated my son very well. I didn't know they would discriminate my son because he didn't shift is body up in the chair wanted to run around and so they charged me extra. I thought this was a pediatric dentistry and they would be understanding that every child is different. He didn't cry or behaved "badly" and the appointment took less than 20 minutes. And yet I'm left with a fee because the "dentist" had to see him and not a hygienist. I wish they would have told me before so I could have canceled the appt and made it somewhere else. So if you don't have "normal" well behaved kid...u will get an extra charge.

We have total confidence in him and enjoy seeing him. We also appreciate Debbie so much, she's truly supportive, friendly, and professional and we love seeing her too. Our son used to have such anxiety about teeth cleanings but Dr. Sulla helped us through many cleanings and a few invasive procedures and now he fully enjoys seeing Dr. Sulla and the staff. Everyone in the check in and check out is also kind, respectful, and efficient. Thanks so much for your great service and awesome demeanor!

Fantastic experience: My son and I had a wonderful experience at Tender Smiles 4 Kids. We were greeted upon our arrival and called to the back at our appointment time. There was no extreme waiting.The dental assistant was wonderful very pleasant personality and very informative. The dentist Mrs.Lian was very nice,she explained to me what dental work my son needs and why. She reassured me that the work would correct any issues he has with his teeth. Very happy Iwith my experience!

Fantastic experience: Brought my 23 month old and they were great with him. He didn’t love getting his teeth clean of course but they were gentle while able to do the cleaning and getting the job done.

Not in my were they able ti get me in, in a timely manner the Dentist was so patient with my son as he was in pain and screaming. If i lived closer i would switch to this office instead of their other (also great) location.

I took my 2 year old here today and it was the best experience, the dentist was super sweet and so was the hygienist! Waited like 5 minutes to be called to the back, not a long wait time at all compared to other places. It was super clean and kid friendly!

Fantastic experience: Our families experience was great! We were referred by family. My son enjoyed the fish-tank in their waiting room. Once taken back, the hygienist and doctor were kind and understood that my 1.5yr old was a bit of a handful but we were able to get our first cleaning and check up done; In & out before our appt time. I’m 50 years old and attended this dentist when I was 5 years old. Now my children attend Tender Smiles 4 Kids ages 18, 16 and 12. Only dental agency they have ever attended. Super happy with their service.

Fantastic experience: My son was a 6 years old new patient and the dentist has always been one of the more unpleasant visits for us in the past. The doctor came in to the visit and she was all smiles she took her time asked questions and actually listened to the responses. Although the cleaning was quick she was thorough and efficient and she made my son feel so welcomed and comfortable in the short time with her funny antics and calm demeanor! She talked to me like a concerned parent and treated my son like a little child instead of a young patient and I truly appreciated it. Fantastic experience: Our appointment was today, and the experience was beyond great!! I found this dentist yesterday, called, and received a new patient appointment the next day. Unlike the dentist in my area, where it can take up to two months. I was told to be there by 8:20, for a 8:30 appointment. The practice is very clean, and my son loved the fish tank. Check in was a breeze, and the wait time was about 10/15 mins. The front desk staff were friendly. The x-ray tech was amazing, patient, and talked my son through the process. The dentist was amazing! And the check out staff was friendly. Overall, I give this place a 10/10, and the 40 min drive was worth it! We have a lot of treatment to get done, but I am happy to find a place that is willing to do the work, and not just pass us off to another practice, or have ridiculously long waiting list for treatments. I am so thankful so this place, and will be bringing my other children!

Fantastic experience: My children have been going to Tender Smiles in North Brunswick for going on 5 years (since my youngest was 2) and I have yet to have a negative experience. They have a very low turnaround rate from what I can tell as we see the same smiling faces every time we go. It’s also the SHORTEST lobby wait time I’ve ever experienced at a doctor/dentist office. Their bedside manner is fantastic and they always put my boys at ease. My oldest son went to two other places before we found Tender Smiles and he never had a good experience and threw up every single time. At Tender Smiles they always know to book him early so he’s on an empty stomach and show so much patience as to not overwhelm him. I recommend this practice and office to everyone!! I even asked them if they would see my and unfortunately they don’t take adults.

Negative experience: Update as of 2022, they kicked me and my children out because we showed up late on 2 separate occasions sorry for being working parents at the time and mind you we did communicate with them. But they did not hesitate to give us the boot! So I don’t recommend this place at all. Plus my oldest didn’t like one of the doctors who wouldn’t listen to her about her teeth sensitivity.

Negative experience: Just Like Car Mechanics, This Dentist office Will Inflate Your Bill If You’re Not Careful! I took my kid for a cavity treatment, and it quickly turned into a $5200 money trap. Trusting their medical jargon, we agreed to a multi-stage treatment plan, paying $1200 for the first part. Just 15 days later, they pushed for an unnecessary checkup, clearly aiming to drain our insurance. Sensing something was off, we got a second opinion, and the new dentist completed everything for just $170. Always get a second opinion! This office seems more focused on maxing out your insurance than providing necessary care.

Positive experience: This office has some of the kindest people working there. They treat my daughter with tenderness. She is not afraid of the dentist at all.

The Doctor and supporting staff were very kind and gentle .The Doctor was no less than an angel who made sure my child was relaxed and dint have to be scared . We were late for our Initial appointment. Staff was kind enough to give another appointment on same day and Doctor did evaluation and also did the clean up with our permission on the same day . The doctor was not in any rush , this shows they care for their patients . I would strongly recommend this facility at North Brunswick for any kids with special needs . My search for a caring doctor for my child with special needs ended after meeting the doctor and staff . I heart was touched .

However, after we saw doctor I can see how professional, sweet and nice she is. My son has extraction of his tooth and this doctor did amazing job that my son didn't even noticed.
