Negative experience: On 7/725 I went in and had Noah Juedes look at my teeth. We determined I needed crowns on both my front teeth. At that time they gave me a cost of 888.00 after insurance. They even printed out a treatment plan with that amount and had me sign and date the paper. On 7/24 I had work done and got temporary teeth. At check out, the office girls told me the total was 1321.88. a 434.00 dollar difference. The young girls were not even going to try to check into why this increase was what it was. They said I could pay the 888.00 but would still owe the balance. I still have to go back and get my permanent teeth, I have no idea what they are going to take from me for that. Terrible billing practices. Would be nice if an adult was there. I feel ripped off. Called and left a message for the Doctor to call me but he hasn't. Why would they communicate a price, have me sign the treatment plan and then take over 400.00 additional dollars from me. The only explanation I got was its the insurance, sorry.

Fantastic experience: Had an OLD gold crown that had displaced. They (Dr. Noah) glued it back in place. So now, my mouth is still worth more than my bank account. Thank you, Taos Dental. Best dental service I have EVER had!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Noah, Tammy and Amanda are very responsive professionals. Each procedure was explained throughly and with kindness, I am a very nervous patient. Taos Dental Group has technology that ensured my crown fit perfectly. However if Monica answers the phone or is the person at the front desk ask for someone else. She is rude and unprofessional. She will ruin your day.

The dental hygienist Noah R. was incredibly thorough but gentle, making sure I was comfortable throughout the entire cleaning. My teeth have never felt cleaner, and I appreciated the extra care taken to explain everything they were doing. Noah offered helpful tips for maintaining oral health at home.

The multiple Dental Hygienists I’ve had have been delicate and understanding. The administrative staff has always been efficient with communication, and very kind.

Negative experience: If the staff wasn't so nice this would be one my worst experiences, multiple cavities filled and they numbed me up stating they would return in 12 to 15mins to start, they took near 20 to 30mins and started feeling my face. Had to ask front desk what was going on for the long wait, they already moved my appointment in the morning twice to 1:30 "so you won't be waiting in the chair" the dentist started working but I felt every inch of it so they numbed me yet again and told me we'll be back in 2 to 5mins yet again, 14mins later they finally started again and I felt every. SINGLE. Bit of it I could lift my left hand if I needed a break or to stop but at this point I was flustered, brain was scattered and all I wanted the work done (they already drilled into my teeth, didnt want them exposed) and had to go back to work 2 hours for three cavities and $350 dollars later. Feeling traumatized and exhausted. My cheeks felt like they been rubbed with a cheese grater. Called to ask them to review my fillings as they didn't feel right and never got a call back

Fantastic experience: I have a lot of awful experiences with dentists, and usually dread going for cleanings. However, the folks at Taos Dental were nothing but kind and patient with me, and were especially understanding of budgetary restraints for offering additional services. I would highly recommend this group and will definitely be returning!

Fantastic experience: I used to have such a fear and such anxiety that I had to be medicated before I went to the dentist. Not anymore, as my experiences there have been wonderful. I’m always comfortable, treated with the utmost respect, and the dentist and the assistant are Intimately tuned in to how I’m feeling through the entire procedure. I have had a root canal, crowns, I have a list and I have never had any discomfort ever. And I’ve never had to go back for anything related to something that they took care of either. I highly recommend Noah, and the entire Dental group. The best thing that happened to our tiny community was Taos Dental setting up practice here.

Negative experience: Been going to here for awhile now. I have a fear of dentist since I was little. A dentist hurt me as a little kid enough they had to send me to a children’s specialist. I love Dr Nyland. He is so so gentle. He cares. He goes slow. But… today’s experience with a hygienist was one of the worst ever. First, they had rescheduled me with her when I had been scheduled with one I trust and like for the last few cleanings. Never told me. I drive 2 hours to go to this dentist. I told her my fears, my sensitivity to pain, sensitivity to cold. I must have upset her when I had says all this along with I was not happy I was switched. She was rough. When I stopped her from the cleaning within the first few minutes because she was going so fast and rough, she says it was my fault because I had inflammation. I just walked out. The office manager was sitting 3 feet away from me checking out with the hygienist sitting with her and never came over knowing I was walking out to talk to me. Poor customer service. I will be back to the dentist and my other hygienist, but I would hope some things change in the office. TELL people their original appointment with who they were scheduled with is changed BEFORE you drive 2 hours. Teach people to be attentive and caring in what they do.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Taos Dental Group for over 10 years and they have always been kind and wonderful. They shifted me to a new hygienist this year who is very good, and is also great at being the hygienist for my 2.5 year old son now as well.

Negative experience: Their schedule is godawful, Taos Dental pushes you out months for scheduling. It's been this way for 2 years now. It's like pulling teeth to get anything on scheduled or to change an appointment time. Please hire more people if you're that understaffed. I've never been to a dentist that had this awful of rescheduling.

Fantastic experience: They were able to get me in same day in emergency basis for gum issue. Staff was great and sent me paperwork ahead of time via SMS text. Quick check in. Minimal wait once I got there (less than ten minutes). Dr Noah wax great and I felt comfortable. In/out quickly. Check out was quick as well. Nice to see a fully staffed, well-functioning office.
