Positive experience: Went well at the doctor. At this time the hole where the extraction was still has lots of blood coming from it and it has been 2 hours since the surgery. I am hoping it will stop soon otherwise I will have to go to the ER

Fantastic experience: Amber and Dr. Sangalang were excellent. I had a crown done without Novocain because I don’t like it and they were excellent explaining everything as they were doing it and understanding & offered breaks if I needed during the process. Their entire staff is always good, explaining procedures, understanding and compassionate. I’ve been going there for 20 years or more.

Fantastic experience: I've been with DHA since 2002 and love my dental hygienist, doctors and the staff are always top notch. I had another amazing experience with Dr. M at the Fitchburg location this past week. You feel extra special when the doctor cleans your teeth. That is the kind of place you want to go to, where the doctor will take care of you, the patient, instead of calling to reschedule you when their hygienist is out. Team work makes the dream work. I cannot give higher recommendation -DHA all the way!

Fantastic experience: Janell was the dental hygienist I saw today. She is not the hygienist I normally see but she did a great job. She was gentle and efficient and answered my questions. Dr Sweeney is always informative and gave me recommendations I will follow. Going to the dentist is not my favorite activity but they make it pleasant and easy to return on schedule.

Fantastic experience: I was seen by a dentist a week ago for cleaning and X-rays. When Dr came back in with X-rays I was informed of a major issue with a large bridge I just had completed 5 years earlier. He immediately said we need to jump on this in order to avoid further issues. Wanting a second opinion I reached out to Dental Health Associates through a recommendation and was scheduled with Dr. Wagner. She agreed with the earlier Dentists statement that there was decay under the bridge however discussed various options vs just cut and dry a new $6000+ bridge replacement. She was very kind and thorough. She stated she will clean up the area of concern ( unlike other Dentist who told me that wasn’t possible.) in order to buy me time to meet with her Associate for consultation, options and discuss the financial impact that I will be facing. I can’t thank Dr. Wagner enough for her kindness and understanding while I try to navigate this.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at Dental Health Associates in Fitchburg! My cleaning was super easy and completely pain-free. They used state-of-the-art equipment, including a suction device that kept my mouth water-free the entire time, which made the process so comfortable. Joe and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly and engaging, making me feel at ease from start to finish. Highly recommend this clinic for top-notch dental care!

Fantastic experience: There was unexpected traffic on my way to DHA Fitchburgwhen I was heading there for my most recent appointment. When I called to let DHA staff know I was running 15 minutes late, they were still able to fit me in for a cleaning. The time before that, I came in with a crown that had come loose just prior to my cleaning appointment. I forgot to call about it until I was on my way there. My dentist and his team fit me in to re-fit the crown during my cleaning appointment. I appreciate the fact that DHA staff has been pleasnt and accomodating when I've needed their help.

Negative experience: I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but this experience with Dr. Leah Johnson was unacceptable. After she shaved down one of my lower front teeth to adjust my bite, I started having deep, throbbing pain that got worse each day—especially at night.(and I felt the same pain during the procedure too.) I couldn’t sleep and told her that painkillers weren’t working. Still, she completely dismissed my concerns and insisted the pain had “nothing to do with her treatment.” She told me to just “wait two weeks,” offering no help. This was very likely irreversible pulpitis, and any responsible dentist should have recognized the urgency. Ignoring a patient losing sleep for more than 4 days because of the constant pain and refusing to even consider a connection to her own treatment is not just careless—it’s negligent. I had to go to a different provider just to be taken seriously. I would strongly advise others to stay away.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Dental Health Associates in Fitchburg! I've been a patient for many years, and they consistently meet all my dental needs, including cleanings, dental work, implants, and orthodontics, with a friendly and highly professional approach. My hygienist, Kris, and Dr. Sweeney are truly top-notch professionals who perform their work kindly and carefully. I'm so glad to have them as part of my healthcare!

Fantastic experience: This was my first time at Dental Health Associates. Check-in was easy, quick, friendy staff person. Comfortable, large, sitting area, which I didn’t need. They took me in to a room right away. The dental hygienist, Tina, was very kind, professional, she explained what she was going to do, and she was very good at what she did. My new dentist, Dr. Sangalang, was also very kind, professional, and knowledgeable. We all had some good dental health, and "what a small world", conversations. I felt very comfortable at my new dental home. Happy I chose Dental Health Associates, South Clinic, in Fitchburg.

Fantastic experience: The hygienist than cleans my teeth is very professional. She is very understanding and detail oriented. She asks questions regarding my dental health and is always ready to answer any questions I may have. I have never experienced any pain or discomfort from the thorough cleaning of my teeth. During the cleaning she provides me with insight how to better care for my teeth at home. I can not say enough about the excellent job she does. Negative experience: Scheduled me for a different appointment than what I thought I was booking and then forced me to take an antibiotic that I didn’t want in order to receive treatment.

Fantastic experience: If you have dental anxiety and need a root canal (not a good combo), Dr. Anders is the person for you. I have had the good fortune of strong teeth my whole life, so when my dentist told me I needed a root canal I was beyond scared. She recommended Dr. Anders. In consultation he assured me he would do everything he could to make the procedure painless, and he did. I have almost zero awareness anything was done yesterday. Thank you to all the staff who made me feel comfortable, relaxed and confident.

Fantastic experience: Donna S, my dental hygienist, is the best! She’s friendly, polite, kind, But even more so, she’s respectful of her patients And of what she’s doing when she’s doing a cleaning. She is gentle in her work and respectful and kind in her advice. She always has the best interest of her patience in mind and does her best to make sure that they remain as healthy as possible. I will be asking for her for appointments in the future, and I would not hesitate to recommend her or Dental Health Associates to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Dr. O’Brien squeezed me in when I had a toothache which turned out to be an abscess and a root canal needed appreciate his quick response and referral so that I can get the root canal done very quickly.

Fantastic experience: DHA Dental is great. Donna is top notch in every way. DHA Ortho, on the other hand, has not been stellar. I am having trouble getting paperwork from them, that I need for FSA reimbursement. I'm hopeful, though.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Katie B at Dental Associates -South in Fitchburg, WI, for providing oral hygiene that addressed my significant periodontal needs. She worked with skill, thoroughness and efficiency for 75 minute, using an effective topical numbing gel to sequential groupings of teeth, prior to progressing with the cavetron(sp) for deeper cleaning around -and-below the gum line. Final phase: finishing up with stain removal and polishing. Also, Katie completed taking a full set of annual x-rays, arranged for supervising dentist to complete her exam and she was able to offer the scheduling of an additional hygiene visit during upcoming time block when oral hygiene at my periodontal specialist’s office was not available. I thanked her for elevating my oral health which has a strong link to prolonging an individual’s Life Span.

Fantastic experience: I came here for the first (and only) time earlier today. Robin knows her stuff, and honored my request to be cleaned without the use of a water pick. A first time patient cleaning took about an hour, which is as advertised. I felt like I was in very good hands, and they even give you sunglasses to wear so the lights aren't pointing at your eyes the whole time. It's a shame I am relocating, because I had great luck finding a dentist!

Positive experience: Joseph was great showing attention to The dentist came in to do an oral exam, and while she did an adequate job, she was a bit rough. She also spent the time in the room socializing with her coworker, and basically only said hi to me when she came in. Overall I would still recommend them, and just request the dentist be a bit more gentle if it happens next time I go. A little time spent talking to the person in the chair would also make the person feel comfortable and shows interest in wanting them to come back.

Fantastic experience: They were incredibly nice and laid out the cost of every procedure they wanted to do before they did it! When they prescribed the toothpaste I needed, CVS didn't cover it, and they told me to come back and it was wayyy cheaper through them! They were super friendly and absolutely delightful.

I had a cleaning today and needed a little repair done on a chipped tooth. Doctor Wagner found time to repair my tooth so I didn’t need to come back at another time. Fantastic experience: I had my cleaning today with hygienist Joe (I think that was his first name) who worked with Dr. Johnson. He was wonderful…extremely gentle, let me know about the process and had me ready to see the doctor in 45 minutes. Dr. Johnson is also a wonderful dentist…again gentle, professional and cares. In addition , the front office receptionists are extremely welcoming and scheduled my husband and I in a timely manner. I would highly recommend !

Positive experience: The dentists and hygienists are excellent. The receptionists on the other hand, well, rude and unwelcoming. Obviously they haven't heard of common courtesy and feel it's ok to share your personal information with the entire waiting room. The care is fabulous. Just brace yourself for the rudeness of the front desk staff.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sweeney at DHA in Fitchburg is by far the most skilled dentist I have been a patient of. Not only is he of impeccable bedside manners, but also highly skilled in his profession. He does not hesitate to spend quality time diagnosing issues and discussing with me his approach to the treatment. My family and I were away from Madison for nearly 5 years, and it was great relief that we have come back to Dr. Sweeney. I was also very happy to come back to Chris, the dental hygienist who had been taking care of me on a regular basis before my move out of town. It is good to be back in her good care. My teeth thank her for the good health they enjoy!

Fantastic experience: I chipped two teeth two days before leaving on trip to Hawaii. Dr Sweeney along with Annie fit me into their schedule on a days notice. They fixed both teeth and sent me on my way with two fixed teeth and no more pain or worries. Thanks again for the great care and service.

I am impressed by how easy the appointment process has been and friendly the staff are! My favorite part about this office is that they are my one stop shop for everything I need: Periodontics, Orthodontics, General Dentistry, and more! They make me feel like I can manage my journey with keeping my teeth healthy with ease. I also appreciate that they read my questionnaire before meeting me and remembered the things I mentioned that were concerns or interests of mine (such as Invisalign) I’m very thankful I chose Dental Health Associates!

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr. O'Brien and Lynn for well over 15 years. I feel I get excellent care from both. They take the time to answer any questions that I have and are always concerned about my well being. I feel very comfortable in the office and they are both very friendly. I highly recommend them.

Negative experience: Almost 8 months for implant bridge, and crown procedure!!! To start an incorrect diagnosis for work to be done by Dr. Markquart held up the process by 2 weeks. Beginning with Dr. Nazzal, a botched bone graft had to be redone. This procedure went on for close to 4 months. Once finally ready to set the implant bridge and crown, it was learned the fit was not acceptable, and had to be sent back. This was a commodity of errors that was frustrating to say the least. The total procedure should have taken 3 months.

Positive experience: The hygienist was very thorough and efficient. I would have liked a bit more time with the dentist, as there were some major concerns. She did explain the issues, and upcoming treatment.

Fantastic experience: I was a new patient. It was a wonderful experience. I’ve always had a woman hygienist and when I saw I was going to have a young man I was oh we’ll see how this works out. Joe was great and I was very impressed. He listened and answered my questions. I’m glad I made the change.

Negative experience: I showed up early for my appointment. I was told they were running late because there was an emergency before me. I waited for 30 minutes after my appointment before I finally got fed up and left. In that time 6 other people were brought back, including two who showed up only 10 minutes earlier. I was coming here for an initial consultation, nothing that would have required a specialist.
