Fantastic experience: Dr. Yaste and the Ballantyne Dentistry team exceeds expectations! Dr. Yaste recently did a crown prep on a back tooth. I was totally numb and comfortable for the crown prep. Cindy made the temporary crown. She did a great job with the temporary crown. I just received the porcelain crown yesterday with Dr. Yaste and his wonderful assistant, Codi. The crown is perfect in every way. Thank you, Dr. Yaste! And BD team for twenty years of great dental experiences!

Fantastic experience: I am having my first crowns done on front teeth due to a crack in my tooth. A very uncomfortable thing to have done. If you need this kind of work, then Ballantyne Dentistry is the place to go. I have my temps on now but am excited for my permanent crowns. The entire office was so kind and gentle with me and Dr. Yaste even had the artist who will make my crowns meet me personally to discuss the creation of my permanent crowns. I know they will look and feel perfect and would recommend him for high quality work.

Recently I had a couple of crowns and a bridge installed by Dr. Tesmer and he is such a perfectionist and will not stop tuning the fit until he’s certain it’s perfect. Fantastic experience: So friendly and professional. I loved how nice the waiting room and restrooms are. The receptionist was outstanding!

Negative experience: Office is super nice and staff is very friendly. However, this office is receiving 2 stars for absolutely trying to scam me. This practice feels like it's for the money, not for the patients. I was quoted as having 10 cavities and needing 4 quadrants of gingival irrigation, for a total of $7,300 of work. Looking at my own scans I thought "this can't be right". I immediately got second opinion from a family-owned practice, and they said that quote was "outrageous" and that I "absolutely did not need $7k of dental work". I only have 1 cavity and the other 9 were just hairlines from prior resin composites that needed a touch up, for which I was quoted $500 a piece. If you have great insurance that will cover it all, more power to you. We used Cigna, and they quoted only covering $1,550, leaving me to cover $5,700 in made up expenses out of pocket. I won't be going back. Edit: Not corporate owned, my apologies, they just seem to practice in a manner reminiscent of corporate-owned practices, or the so-called "drill and fill" method... Taking advantage of the fact that they are located in a wealthy area and knowing that many patients will have the coverage and/or capital to be able to afford inflated prices. Just comparing the prices for standard procedures to other practices in the city makes this extremely apparent.

Fantastic experience: I was able to get in, as a new patient, shortly after breaking some decades-old bridgework. Everyone in the office was friendly and made me feel comfortable. Dr Yaste spent time with me discussion options for treatment without trying to push me into anything. I knew my issue was not one that could be fixed on the spot but after a brief exam and full x-rays, I will meet again with Dr Yaste and we will decide on an approach.

So now the process is complete. I have beautiful new veneers and love them so much. Dr. Tesmer made me aware of each step so there were no surprises and made it as enjoyable as a dental appointment can be. And JoJo was so comforting throughout. Fantastic experience: My girlfriend has had anxiety with dentists her whole life, and it was always tricky to try to get her to go. I never wanted to pressure her, but I love her smile and wanted to help her take care of it. Sadly, her experiences with dentists growing up involved only going when in pain, so it unfairly colored dentist visits from those experiences. I witnessed her to try to hope dental discomfort would just go away on its own rather than see a dentist. After listening to my ravings about how accommodating and pressure free Dr. Davis and his team were for me over the last few years, she did agree to go for a checkup (she set it up on her own!) They knew of a million ways and things to do to keep her relaxed and comfortable, and kept checking in on her throughout anything they did to make sure she was still doing well. From only going to see a dentist to deal with something painful, to being able to overcome that anxiety for general checkups, I’m extremely grateful to them for all their help and attention to detail. Fantastic experience: My experience at Ballantyne Dentistry was great! I came in for a new patient exam due to some discomfort I was experiencing when eating. Dr. Davis thoroughly evaluated the area and explained that I had an existing filling that was cracked which is what was causing the pain. They were even able to take care of it the same day! Dr. Davis and the dental assistant, Rylin were both so friendly and took great care of me! I came back for a cleaning the next day and my hygienist, Taira took such great care of my teeth. She took the time to explain to me the current state of my oral health as well as giving me recommendations for the areas that I could improve. I returned there last Tuesday and Doctor Yates worked for several hours in order to solve my pardon. This was the first time I had the pleasure of meeting him. I liked him immediately. Fantastic experience: I arrived early for my 11:40 appointment and was greeted, pleasantly, by your receptionist. She informed me about the water/juice bar and the location of restrooms. Shortly after, I was greeted by Jamie, who directed me to her office where she gave me a rundown of services offered. I was then greeted by a dental assistant who was very professional and thorough in the use of the tools needed to manipulate my mouth. She took care to make sure I was comfortable. Both doctors were very professional and informative about my condition and the options available to to me. Fantastic experience: Seriously, this was the best dental appointment I’ve ever experienced. Just over a year ago, I had a really bad dental experience. Still reeling with that disappointment, I was stressed about finding a new dentist that could meet my requirements: gentle, gentle and gentle; good customer service, caring, kind, and a staff that cares. I called a lot of dental offices. I chose this one because of the way they answered the phone and explained the process. Once I got there, I WAS HOOKED! It’s a beautiful office that is respectful of your time. They explain EVERYTHING and answer your questions. Dr. T is easy on the eyes and he laughs at my jokes. I don’t know how they do it but they have the total package. A staff that absolutely cares. Go! You will not be disappointed. I don’t have a fear anymore. As a matter of fact, I look forward to my next visit. ❤️

My daughter was missing a permanent tooth and when the baby tooth became loose we were recommended to Ballantyne Dentistry for a consultation. I couldn’t believe the thoroughness of the initial exam along with X-rays, CT scans, 3D imaging, and so on. From discussing her bone density, surrounding teeth and other treatment options, I felt once the treatment plan was presented all of my questions and concerns were addressed. We were able to schedule an appointment for an implant within a few weeks.
