Diane made sure she did everything to make me comfortable and when Dr. Rafa gave me the numbing shot I didn’t feel a single thing. I didn’t even feel a slight pinch!!! Negative experience: Thank you for your phone call yesterday and for threatening us to remove the one-star review. Two days before your reply, someone called us and explained politely that we were going to remove the review at that time, but we just forgot about it. But you (Wendy) called us again yesterday and threatened us, which made us feel very uncomfortable. It was your customer service that had problems, but you wanted us to remove the review. It reminded me that do you treat other customers in the same way as long as they give a bad review? Thank you for calling us . We have been going to this dentist for several years. This morning, we had the first bad customer service. I asked to speak to the supervisor, but was transferred to a woman who claimed to be the supervisor. I asked them to tell me our next appointment, but she was unwilling to tell me. I asked her to cancel my future appointments, and she replied that they would be happy to cancel all my future appointments. This is the first time I have encountered such customer service in so many visits.

Fantastic experience: Had a fantastic experience at Leander Dental Care. I was called back right on time, which I really appreciated. Alana took incredible care of me throughout the entire appointment. She was patient, attentive, and extremely detailed, explaining everything before doing it. She was also super friendly and we chatted the whole time, which made the appointment fly by. I have some dental trauma from past experiences, but not once did I feel tense or fearful during the visit. My teeth have never felt cleaner. Dr. Webb was also wonderful, kind, approachable, and didn’t try to upsell or push any unnecessary treatments. My teeth are healthy and she left it at that, which I really respect. Highly recommend

Negative experience: I’ve been a patient here for several years, but unfortunately, the experience has steadily declined. Today was the final straw, and I’ve decided to look for a new dentist. The online scheduling system is incredibly unreliable. On multiple occasions, I’ve booked appointments only to encounter issues. Once, I scheduled for 3:30 PM, but when I arrived, I was told they only accept appointments on the hour — so why was that time even available online? Today, I had a 3:00 PM appointment confirmed, only to show up and be told it had been canceled without any notice. A complete waste of my time. I also agree with others who have mentioned the excessive upselling — it feels more like a business trying to increase revenue than a practice focused on patient care. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Seeing an oral surgeon could be unpleasant. But Dr Harris and Sammie made my short procedure anything but. Staff is excellent too.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at this practice for 5 years. They have been nothing but amazing! The chair side assistants are welcoming and professional. The hygienists are the same. Shout out to Jerry! But the other hygienists I have seen have been just as wonderful. And now the best for last. I have seen Dr Good and also Dr Hazembuller. Both are kind and caring, professional and knowledgeable. Shout out to Dr Hazambuller! I have had many more appointments with him. I would highly recommend him and the practice. And not to forget the rest of the staff including the front desk, you are the best!

Fantastic experience: Went for a routine appointment and had hands-down one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had at a dentist office. My appointment got a bit delayed due to some technical difficulties, but everything else about the service and care was spectacular. The whole staff was really friendly, and Dr. Webb as well as the hygienist, Alaina, were incredibly thorough. They truly took the time to really make sure I was aware of any issues and took the time to detail any preventative care. The cleaning was also one of the best cleanings I’ve received in years. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I've been a patient of Dr. Good at Leander Dental for several years. I had a checkup and cleaning in February of this year (2025). I needed a cavity filled so I set an appointment for April 9. Leander Dental texted me a reminder on April 2 and requested confirmation. I confirmed. I showed up early today for my appointment, to be told I had no appointment. The person at the front desk acknowledged that I'd been texted a reminder and that I'd confirmed, but that I was in fact discharged as a patient by Dr. Good, (no reason given) and that they had sent me a letter, to an address I moved from over eight years ago. No explanation why I was “discharged as a patient”. I owe no money and there has been no issue of any kind with anyone at that office. She stated the reason was in the letter. The letter they sent to a stranger, not me, because they are incompetent. I don’t yet know what private information about me this inept office sent. I had updated my address years ago, as well as at my last appointment, and I told her so. She asked my current address, which i gave, and she nodded as if she had that information on her computer screen. I have requested all of my records, and all they’ve sent so far is my X-rays from February. This person was quite unapologetic and glib. She said they’d also called and left me a voicemail on March 19, telling me I was discharged from that office and no longer had an appointment. That is a lie. I have only one phone number. It’s been the same for 25 years. I can access every voicemail, even deleted ones, going back to March 4. That office did not call me. If they had, I’d have found a new dentist and not taken off work to spend an hour round trip for this appointment. She said the office manager would call me. She has not called me. I have never been treated this badly by any business in my lifetime. I would NOT recommend Leander Dental or Dr. Good.

Negative experience: I hate to leave a bad review, but don't want anyone else to have a similar experience. I had an extremely disappointing and painful experience at Leander Dental Care on Crystal Falls. When I went in for a crown procedure, the dental hygienist attempted to remove my temporary crown without numbing me first—despite the fact that it was cemented on. She simply grabbed a pair of dental pliers and started yanking, causing significant pain. Only after it became clear that her approach wasn’t working did they offer to numb the area—which they had to do three different times just to remove the crown properly. Even after enduring unnecessary pain, the dentist, Dr. Good, had to drill several times to fully remove the temporary crown. The entire process was far more painful than it should have been. But what made matters worse was that they added a note in my chart labeling me as having "dental anxiety"—which is completely false. As if they are even qualified to make this diagnosis. I wasn't offered any paid meds afterwards to take home and they didn't even call to check on my progress after the procedure. This office caused me pain and trauma, and then instead of taking responsibility, they mislabeled me in their records as if I were the problem. To top it all off, the office manager called me today and said Dr. Good suggested I go to a different office where I could be sedated for future dental work....and I'll probably like them much better, then I'll want to get my routine teeth cleanings there too for now on — essentially passing me off instead of acknowledging their mistakes. The audacity! The office manager also said, it was in my notes to numb me first, but the hygienist missed it. It’s frustrating and unprofessional, and I do not recommend having any major dental work done here. If you value proper care and pain management, look elsewhere. I've been with this practice for 6 years and never had a situation or any major dental work until now -- I will find a new dentist of course. But being dismissed like I was the problem is just crazy to me.

We were so appreciative for how delicate he handled her with a chipped crown as she has a cognitive impairment and difficulty keeping her mouth open. Fantastic experience: I cannot explain just how happy and appreciative I am for the staff and dentist's at Leander Dental Care. I have learned so much about how to take care of my teeth. I went way too long to visit a dentist and since Leander Dental Care was only about a mile from my house I just picked them. After about the 4th visit, three fillings, one root canal and a new crown, I am well on my way to a much healthier me. I also found out that I need two wisdom teeth removed. I have a deep cleaning scheduled and am very thankful to the staff and their willingness to take the time to educate me on just how important it is to keep up with your dental care. I waited way too long and have numerous negatives when it comes to the health of my teeth. I thought since I floss every day and brush probably more than I should daily that my teeth and gums were just fine until I felt one bottom tooth getting a little sore. Long story short, having had put off going to the dentist for over a decade, I found that I had gum disease and needed a lot of work to rectify my situation. I am so glad I picked your establishment and am well on my way to a much healthier mouth and me. Thank you to all the staff, not only have you made me feel much better about my situation but most of all, you have ALL made me feel, not only at home but like family. Thank you very much everyone. Fantastic experience: I appreciate the hygienist who was assigned to me today. Brenda is very knowledgeable, understanding of my concerns, and has gentle hands! The dentist who talked to me, Dr Good, is not good. Hes very good! He too understands when i verbalized my concerns about the cost of a dental procedure. They dont force anything, but they offer alternatives. Theyre very respective of a patient's decision and I appreciate them for that!

Negative experience: Subject: Feedback on Recent Appointment I have been a patient of Dr. Good for nearly a decade, and I have always appreciated his honesty and transparency, which warrants a five-star rating. I had a scheduled appointment this morning for a routine cleaning with a hygienist amidst a very busy day. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet my expectations for a standard six-month cleaning. Initially, the hygienist reviewed my listed medications and engaged in a lengthy discussion regarding one medication's potential side effect of memory loss and the suggestion of replacing another medication with a sleep apnea machine. Additionally, she recommended that I undergo a sleep study. I was surprised to receive medical advice from the hygienist, and I plan to discuss her recommendations with my primary care physician. Regrettably, I felt that the time allotted for my cleaning was wasted; my teeth were not cleaned, and I intend to inform my insurance provider that the procedure was not completed. The hygienist cited swollen gums as the reason for not cleaning my teeth, which is perplexing given that in the past ten years, I have experienced swollen gums on several occasions yet still received cleanings. I am concerned that this was merely a strategy to generate additional revenue for the office's renovations, as I was encouraged to schedule another appointment in January for a deep cleaning, which would likely incur greater costs than my insurance would cover. Advice: If you notice any concerning practices at a dental office, I recommend exercising caution, as it could lead to unnecessary financial burdens.

Negative experience: Absolutely abysmal billing and scheduling system here in this office. They have scheduled me for appointments multiple times that don’t fall within the dental insurance frequency periods and have asked me to pay out of pocket for these routine cleanings. I’ve had an absolutely terrible time trying to get this office to coordinate with my insurance (are they in or out of network? Who knows!), and they have often hit me with surprise bills, since no one can ever tell me how much a procedure might cost before hand. They are only interested in taking as much hard earned money from your pockets as possible, with no consideration or willingness to assist long standing customers with billing issues.

Negative experience: I'll never go there again. I had been going to them for years for routine care for me and my family and Dr Good has been outstanding, but when my daughter had her wisdom teeth pulled there was an incomplete claim submitted so insurance was denied and I was charged the full amount. What is upsetting is I informed them multiple times and they failed to correct it after telling me it would be taken care of. Over two years later its still pending and it doesn't look like it will be fixed. since so much time has passed it is outside the claim period. Using them basically defeated the whole reason I have insurance.

Negative experience: I recently had an experience with this dental office that I found disappointing. Despite requesting not to be charged and rescheduling my appointment within 72 hours due to a family emergency, I was still billed a $100 cancellation fee. This seemed excessive and unfair given the situation. Additionally, I felt that the service quality did not justify the high charges. I hope they consider improving their policies and service standards. I am not able to make another post, but I didn’t get confuse, it is your practice who charge patients for cancellation. And I got a bill of $150 and not $100, just for an appointment cancellation. Stay away from this practice. They will rob you. Insurance will not pay all these nonsense bills.

Fantastic experience: Great service from everyone involved. Complete financial details before work began including price, insurance coverage, patient due. You must be prepared to pay the patient due amount at the end of the visit. Everyone was very engaging. I expected my needed crown to take two visits, but they completed everything today due to a cancelled appointment and now I only need to return in 2 weeks to have the permanent crown placed. Dr.Raphael was wonderful and did a great job.

Fantastic experience: Leander Dental is the BEST! I had a dental problem and they quickly fit me in to see a dentist! Upon arrival, staff was super friendly! Kim was sooo sweet! The dentist (Dr Suní). was very thorough and she referred me to an endodontist - staff at Leander Dental was able to get me an appt w endodontist on same day! Who does that? I rushed over and was able to tackle phase 1 of my dental problem! Thaaaank you ladies! FOLLOW UP: Phase 1.5 of my dental procedure! Today, I returned to Leander Dental for an eval by my dentist, Christopher Good. He is amazing - friendly, knowledgeable, no-nonsense, clear in his explanations of very technical dental procedures. Highly recommend! FOLLOW UP: Phase 2 of my dental procedure! Office staff was able to squeeze me in before a previous October date! Yay! Today I returned for a filling w Dr Christopher Good! Felt no pain with the shots (in my gums) and he was soooo careful to make the whole procedure painless! I love the way he explains what he’s doing thru the procedure to keep my mind off the drilling! Bethany was great too - very calming! Till next time….. FOLLOW UP: I’ve put my implants on hold for now bc I needed fillings today (and crown replacements soon!). Dr Good is still the BEST! I love the way he explains everything in layman’s terms…..and I like that he talks to me while working on my teeth so I don’t focus on drilling noise! . No pain at all! To be continued….. DENTAL CLEANING: Madison was wonderful - no pain at all! Feeling good! Dr Good was excellent again - very personable - gets right to the point - great recommendations - never tries to sell something I don’t need! He’s great! FOLLOW UP: I had 1 more filling today - on right side. Dr Good is still my favorite dentist - highly recommend him! He preps me well so I feel nothing….no pain! And that’s a win for me!

Fantastic experience: I had a stellar experience at this dental office. The office is super clean, the staff friendly and respectful. My visit was during COVID19 and they were practicing social distancing, very well organized they entire process. My dental hygienist was very gentle and really listened to my concerns before beginning my cleaning. I have very sensitive teeth and I am not a fan of dental work, but this hygienist was amazing. Her name is Cara, and she is your girl! I saw Dr. McCormick was very sweet, transparent. This dental office is about patient care and not selling services and products. Front desk was effective and friendly, really easy check in and check out experience. I recommend this location 100% 04.08.21 - came back today for my regular follow up and saw Jerry for my cleaning ..HE IS AMAZING! super gentle, incredible! Hands down this place has the best personal ! Dr. McCormick sweet as usual, straight to the point. 02/13/24 - I still love this dental practice. Since Dr. McCormick's retirement, I have been seeing Dr. Rafael Hazembuller. Him and staff are amazing at what they do - he explains step by step what he's doing, keeps you at ease, makes you comfortable the entire time. RECOMMEND 1000%

Negative experience: My family and I have been patients at Leander dental for about 13yrs. These past months I have needed some dental restoration and was given a care plan with costs, my benefits were verified by the office and once my dental care was completed, I was told that my insurance did not cover my crowns , and that I would owe an additional $900+. I have left 3 messages to speak with the office manager but have still not received a call back. So much for customer loyalty.

Fantastic experience: I had my follow-up appointment at Leander Dental today. Dr. Good and his assistant, Rebecca, placed crowns on two of my teeth and prepared a third tooth for a crown. The procedures took over an hour but Dr. Good and Rebecca were great. They were attentive to my comfort, pausing the procedure to allow me to rest when needed. I have a low threshold for pain so the fact I experienced no pain during the procedures is credit to Dr. Good and Rebecca’s skill in dentistry.

Negative experience: I’d like to start by saying that I think Dr. Good is an incredibly caring, compassionate and comforting dentist. He has treated me well and this review is unrelated to his care. This review is regarding the practice he is part of. I got a crown from this practice a year ago. July 2023. I paid everything in full and have not had any issues until I received a bill for nearly $600 a year later. A. Year. Later. The bill lists NOTHING other than what I owe. No explanation of what I owe for. I called and spoke to someone who informed me that the lady I need to speak with was out that day but was actively working on my account. She never returned my call. I called again, left a message and again, no response. So apparently I owe this practice nearly $600 even though I haven’t been in to see them in a year. The best part is that no one can tell me why I owe OR return a phone call. WHAT A JOKE. Be cautious of this company, their company standards, their billing department, their ability to provide simple feedback or their ability to return a phone call. I would not advise that you go to Leander Dental. They obviously have no one on their payroll that seems to care at all other than the dentist. A doctor is only as good as his staff and his staff is questionable at best. Do better Leander Dental.
Fantastic experience: Doctor Rafael is simply AWESOME! He is very friendly, patient and dedicated, I highly recommend him! I've been visiting this office for several years now and I was very happy with Doctor McCormick, but he retired, then there was an Asian female doctor that didn't last long for some reason, and now Doctor Rafael made me feel good again at this office. I plan to continue using their services for a while.

Negative experience: Don’t plan on using this dentist unless you want to pay two to three times as much for your care for the rest of your life. And don’t try to get routine items done cheaper somewhere else or they will refuse you as a patient afterwards. I got a quote for almost $2,000 for a crown so I decided to shop around and see if I could find a cheaper place just to do the crown. I did and was able to do it for $600. When I came back to Leander dental care ( where I have been coming for about 2 years or so) to have my cleaning and a cavity filled in a different tooth Dr. Goode refused to see me, cancelling my appointment two days before stating “he didn’t feel comfortable filling my cavity because I had been to a different dentist”. I have seen many dentists in my lifetime. I can’t believe any dentist would expect you to only work with one your whole life or not try to find cheaper options for things like crowns when they charge way way more than is necessary. Cancelling my appointment and saying he’s “uncomfortable” is completely ridiculous, especially because it is for a completely unrelated tooth! It seems to me like this place is only concerned about money and definitely not concerned about their patients.

Negative experience: I've called twice trying to get office manager to call me but with no luck..I had received one call but no message left...I put a deposit down of $150 dollars for a crown but found another dentist that wasn't as expensive...I called and canceled my appt and requested my refund...I was told office manager handled refunds and she was on vacation....I said fine can she call me on Monday and was told oh no give her a week to catch up...so I waited another week and called ...I was told she was out of office...I said how does this person work she is never in...I stated again I wanted a refund of my $150...they stated she was the person who does the refunds...OK we are 4 weeks down the road no calls, no messages left and no refund...how do u guys get by with this? Also person who answered phone said to me... do whatever you need to do after I said I will call credit bureau...wow! Poor poor customer service! Dr Goode is a great dentist & I like my hygienist, Maria but the office staff lacks alot. Still waiting now ...onto the credit bureau!

Fantastic experience: I've been to many dentists in my life and Leander Dental Care is by far, THE BEST. My standards are HIGH. Not only is their office extremely clean and esthetically modern and beautiful, the owner, Dr. Roy McCormick and his staff, from front desk receptionists to hygienists, are top notch in their field. They are extremely professional, caring and helpful in every way. Above all, the price of dental procedures is very inexpensive and they give you their estimate AND submit it to your insurance company for their estimate before the procedure is done. I had a crown last year and I received a hefty check back in the mail after that procedure. I love going to the dentist at Leander Dental because the equipment is state-of-the-art, and they are totally awesome and painless.

Fantastic experience: I literally love coming here. As someone who has severe anxiety, I was taken care of so well and they made sure to check in with me after doing little things to my teeth. I have had to get two crowns there, and I have had great experiences each time. If you are someone who gets anxious about going to the dentist, or has kids with the same feelings, Leander Dental Care does an excellent job to make their office feel like home. They do not judge you for what's been going on, or if you've let your dental health slip. Positive experience: We have been going to Leander Dental Care for years. Lots of changes have happened since Dr Mccormicks retirement. It is understandable but our overall confidence had wavered a bit because the IT issues, scheduling weirdness. The one constant is Dr Goode. My daughter has disabilities and his compassion, empathy, awesome personality and care will retain us as patient's. His staff is equally awesome.

Negative experience: An unprofessional establishment that was pretty aggressive and pushing treatment that their team failed to submit for pre-approval on request. I have called countless times with no way to get ahold of their team responsible for handling submissions to insurance. I have even reached out to insurance to see if they submitted it and they didn’t receive it. They (insurance) told me that that if they did get something (a rejection) then they are not seeing it on their side, and they can always file for an appeal. On the visit with the dentist they again claimed that they didn’t get anything and the dentist became a little aggressive with me telling me that we have to do something now or it could result in further damage (again explains that insurance would cover if you are telling me the truth with my call to insurance) then got mad and said he would recommend that I go somewhere else if I didn’t agree to treatment (again trying to explain that his team failed to submit to insurance). I have never been talked to by a dentist or Dr. like this in my life. Been going for years but looking for another dentist that would work on my behalf and not their behalf.

Fantastic experience: Leander Dental Care is the BEST! They never cease to amaze me. I have a very big fear of dental procedures but with their loving caring staff make it easy. For years I have gone every 4 months for cleanings. Due to an unexpected trip I had to make I had to cancel my November 2022 cleaning. Then the next cleaning could not be done due to my blood pressure. So we rescheduled for July 6th. When I went in they took a look and said we needed to do a deep clean. Everyone in that office went above and beyond to get it scheduled and make it happen. Never have I witnessed any medical office work so hard for one of their patients. I still have fear but they work with me so I can successfully accomplish anything there. Thank you Jerry and Dr Ralphie my teeth feel amazing! See you in November.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to this location for 20 years now and I've seen lots of people come and go but I think they're finally getting a good team again! Six months ago I was very disappointed in the interactions I had with the front office staff but today they redeem themselves! And even though I saw a new hygienist named Cara, I couldn't have asked for a better experience

Fantastic experience: My hygienist was supper awesome. She is a great communicator and excellent at her job. It was 7 in the morning and she was super motivated. The dentist was very personable. The receptionist and finance personnel were very knowledgeable and friendly. I had a great experience.

Fantastic experience: 2/19/24 UPDATE: I was able to get ahold of Christina at the office and after I explained my situation to her she was able to wave the charge I kept receiving. Changing my review from 1 to 5 stars because their customer service has improved and I will consider going here again for dental services. Thank you Christina! --------- I had Dr. Good as my dentist, and my experience was exceptional. However, on my second visit, I was informed that he had left Leander Dental Care, which, in retrospect, seems understandable given the office's issues with customer service and overall business practices. Over the course of two years as a patient, at the end I experienced a lapse in insurance coverage due to a career change. Despite informing an office administrator about my change in coverage and seeking guidance on the requirements for VA insurance with Leander Dental Care, I received the same unhelpful response for three consecutive weeks: "I don't know; I will have to get back to you." I also responded to their automated emails and said to cancel the appointment prior to the appointment date. How can I cancel over the phone if no one answers? Their lack of responsiveness led me to seek dental care elsewhere. To compound the frustration, I have been receiving a $50 bill for a missed appointment that I never confirmed, as I needed additional information before committing. Attempts to address this issue have been met with silence – no one answers the phone, and there is no follow-up. I vetted to my wife about this today and Unfortunately, my wife faced a similar problem with this dental office. This is why I am now compelled to write a review. Should there be a resolution to my questions I have for Leander Dental Care, I will be sure to update this review accordingly.

Fantastic experience: i appreciate Dr. Harris for being understanding. He has a great personality and a light touch and made tooth extraction less painful. Tina was very thorough and took time to explain everything. The ambiance of the clinic was very nice also. I was there 2 days ago and I'm confident that Dr. Harris did a great job on my dental situations.

Fantastic experience: Walking into the Leander Dental office I was greeted by a woman named Amanda with a smile She explained what my insurance would cover and processed my information right away. My appointment with the Dental Hygienist Maria was very professional taking time to explain step by step what she was doing during my treatment.
