Negative experience: Absolutely NOT. i just moved in the area and first of all i walked in to bring my child to his appointment and the first thing i seen was a mice, in DENTAL FACILITY?!? even so i gave them benefit of the doubt and approached the receptionist; where i was met with a nasty attitude, i'm a very understanding person but where is the value of professionalism? the whole conversation seem forced which it was but it shouldnt appear so. after we waited and waited to be called we were finally seen and everything seemed to be okay until we left. ever since, my child has been complaining more than ever about toothaches and sharp pain. you will never see our faces again. also the wait time when you call, makes it seem like they never answer.

Fantastic experience: Today I had the best ,pain free dentist visit ever. It had been a while and I was nervous but decided to give Pearly Whites a try. I am very pleased with the quality of work that was done today. I had a deep cleaning and a filling. I was greeted by Carmen and calmed down by her thoroughness in explaining who I would be working with and what to expect from today’s visit from start to finish. Meredith did an amazing job with my deep cleaning, she numbed me well and left my teeth so smooth!! Dr.Ayanna, she’s a superstar! She will now be my dentist. She’s kind, thorough, and has amazing precision. To end my visit, Lauren checked me out and informed me of all my at home follow up care and scheduled my follow up appointments. Everyone is so friendly and efficient! Thank you Pearly Whites for making going to the dentist not so Scary!

Fantastic experience: I want to take a moment to recognize Lauren for how helpful and knowledgeable she was during my recent visit. She was the only person who truly understood my situation and took the time to explain it—not just to me, but also to others in the office who weren’t aware of what was going on. Lauren was reliable, patient, and clearly knows her stuff. She didn’t rush through anything and made sure I felt heard and taken care of. Honestly, she’s already doing more than her role requires, and I believe she should be the office manager. The place runs smoother because of her. Fantastic experience: I got my braces on yesterday and all I want to say is that the RDA Rocio was absolutely wonderful so was Dr Wu. So kind, gentle, sweet and caring. They made me feel at ease the entire time and were so thoughtful in every little detail. It's rare to come across someone who brings both warmth and professionalism to their work so effortlessly. Truly appreciated and made my visit a lot more pleasant than I expected!

Negative experience: This place is a dental factory. We’ve been coming here for 12 years with our children, and the quality of service is now non existent. It used to be such a sweet family practice. They don’t care about their patients any longer. This is our fourth time having an incident. We make appointments for a cleaning and have to wait 45 minutes, and no sign of a hygienist to help. We also travel thirty minutes each way to this location. They will however, call you 3-5 times to confirm your appointment, but clearly overbook based upon their staffing levels. Their answer always is, our supervisor is on leave, or we’re extra busy today. Don’t go here.

Fantastic experience: I don’t remember ever receiving such great care at a dental clinic as I did today at Pearly Whites in Berkeley Heights, NJ. Special thanks to the assistant Fernanda and the hygienist Stephanie Silva. They were incredibly kind, thorough, and took the time to explain every detail of the treatment and costs. Everything was transparent, warm, and truly human. And best of all, they offer service in Portuguese. I highly recommend them to everyone, especially to Brazilians living in the area.

Negative experience: I initially visited the practice as a trial for my family, but my experience was disappointing. After my recent fillings, my teeth felt rough and uneven. Although I returned for polishing, even two months later, my teeth still do not feel smooth. One of the affected teeth is my front tooth, and it constantly feels as if it has not been properly cleaned. Additionally, I found the process of signing contracts for minor procedures to be concerning. Due to these issues, we have decided to seek dental care elsewhere.

The team is flexible with scheduling, kind, patient, and always willing to problem-solve alongside you. The office staff is warm and approachable, whether you need help rescheduling or navigating insurance questions. Fantastic experience: I had an appointment today. Dr. Ayanna was not only thorough, but friendly. I have to get a lot of work and she easily dispelled my worries. Lauren at the front desk was very helpful and patient with all my questions. I have a lot of appointments and work to get done and she very kindly helped me understand everything. I can't remember the hygienist's name, but she did a phenomenal job. She gave me advice and areas of concern on what I should be doing, but in a way that was very comforting. I did not feel any shame for how poorly I've taken care of my teeth. Overall a great experience and I can't wait to get my teeth taken care of by an excellent team.

Fantastic experience: Great experience. Office is relaxing and they have the most comfortable chairs. They even have a massage feature on the chair and offer a heated neck wrap. Staff was all friendly and helpful. appointment was right on time. Eweline was great getting everything set up and performing X-rays. Gabbi did a very thorough cleaning that was also comfortable. Dr. Aiello was very kind and also thorough. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Horrible expirenece, they not straight forward with the appointment. They will give you an appointment just to make you sit an extra 3 hours to get service. Never again will i set foot in this establishment

Carm, the dental assistant, is so sweet and professional—she made the entire experience comfortable and enjoyable. I fully recommend this place to everyone!

Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend bringing your family here. Isolina in the front desk was very helpful. She helped me set up an appointment for my kids and myself. My kids were patients here first but after seeing the care provided to them I also decided to become a patient here. Their availability is open so I was able to make an appointment same day as my kids.

Negative experience: Just for awareness!! Never do I participate in reviews however pearly whites managed to get me so concerned that I actually took my time to post a review. This is our second return with child #2 and to be completely honest, I don’t know how this place still conducts business. For the nearly a year their front staff could never get an appointment correct, scheduled wrong service appointments, claim appointments were never made, attempted to bill outside our billing contract, claimed our ins was denied 6 months already in it and never sent any ins payments, refused to return call and the best is they were extremely nasty in all there interactions. This place has lost its initial excellent practice and now employ some of the most incompetent staff that exist. Just to piggy back off a recent post, the staff in this place as well as their billing dept are so incompetent that I highly suggest anyone who goes there to reconsider another dentistry. To put things in light of this, It’s now been close to 4 months since we finished services and contract ended and they are still deducting payments from our bank account without even notifying us. We’ve again attempted to contact their billing over a dozen times and their answer is, we don’t know what’s going on can we look into this and “call you back” !! Folks, please think twice before committing to this place.

Negative experience: This place is a scam be carful going in, they will overcharged you and your insurance, after overcharged you they still send you a bill saying your insurance didn’t covered it. I would never go back and tell anyone to go there. Be careful!

Negative experience: I would like to express concerns similar to those mentioned in other reviews regarding organizational efficiency. While there appears to be an adequate number of front desk staff and operators, communication among team members seems to be lacking. For instance, when the insurance company sends faxes to clarify coverage, I was informed that only supervisors have access to these communications. Similarly, I sent my son's bitewing images to the office email, but was told that only supervisors can access them. Unfortunately, the supervisors are often occupied with patients, arrive late, or are out for lunch, which has delayed responses. I have not received any returned calls or follow-up regarding my concerns. Additionally, I am surprised by the high volume of positive reviews, which exceed 1,500, and I wonder if my experience is an exception. I feel that I have been treated differently and that there may be biases affecting the level of service provided. Very negative experience with this office.

Negative experience: This office is absolutely infuriating! The staff is outrageously unprofessional—never, not once, do they bother to return a phone call or an email. The billing department is entirely clueless about insurance policies; they actually had the audacity to tell me I should call my insurance company to verify coverage—something they should be responsible for! When I showed up for my appointment, I was turned away because they never bothered to verify my coverage in advance or prepare for my visit. And that’s not all—over the next two days, I spent over ten agonizing calls going back and forth just to get them to finally understand the policy. Is this my job now? Do I have to be the one to fix their incompetence? I haven’t even seen the doctor yet, and I am already drained and furious. Farewell, Pearly Whites Berkeley Heights—you’ve completely lost my trust and respect. And honestly, if there were a zero-star option, I’d choose that. They have absolutely no regard for patients’ time or dignity. Is my time worthless to you?

Fantastic experience: I want to share that today’s visit at the Berkley heights office was incredible. Not only was i serviced promptly but the dental assistants fernanda, diane and carmem was very friendly and professional too. Also the hygienist Marcelia was very fast and efficient. From the massage chairs to the friendly service i would recommend this dental office to everyone!

Fantastic experience: My 2 y.o. had her first appointment here today and we had such a positive experience. I was unsure how it would go with a toddler. The staff was so sweet with her and worked with us to get this squirmy toddlers exam and cleaning done. As mom who runs anxious, they made me feel very at ease while giving me the info I need to know to set my daughter up for success with her dental health! The decor and environment are super kid friendly and make it an exciting experience for my daughter. Dr. Eleni was so kind, welcoming, and informative!

The experience was incredibly relaxing—Jackie has such a gentle yet thorough approach that made the entire appointment comfortable from start to finish. Negative experience: Dentists are great but the front desk wiped away almost all of the positives on our last trip. My wife was told our son wasn’t a dependent on our insurance, which is just false. Somehow that took almost an hour to sort out. Thereafter no one even apologized or acknowledged anything was resolved and just admitted them like nothing happened. Even my very patient wife had to call that out while there. Then a litany of excuses followed. Now we’re questioning going back. Infuriating enough situation but you can’t do this with small kids waiting…

Fantastic experience: The best dentist I’ve been to. I had a horrible experience with another dentist and haven’t been back to until today and they made me feel comfortable. Meredith did a excellent job cleaning my teeth and reassuring that I was in good hands and I was. Would definitely recommend this dentist.

Fantastic experience: Pearly Whites is the BEST! The staff is always so kind and professional and are able to accommodate my busy schedule. I travel all the way from Jersey City here bc they are THAT GOOD. I got my teeth whitened by Carmen who did an excellent job and was so sweet. I highly recommend this dentist to anyone who lives in the area.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing, best cleaning I ever had. So thorough, and the doctor caught something wrong in my root canal that had never gotten caught before. Diane, Gabby, Carm, Dr. Aiello, and JC… I cannot thank them enough and I can’t wait for my next cleaning!! No pain whatsoever!

Fantastic experience: I came in for a checkup and cleaning today and Lauren helped me get checked in and checked out she was ever nice and she explained everything very well. Dr. Aiello checked out my teeth for me because I have some sensitivity he was very gentle and nice. Stephanie cleaned my teeth very well and gave me a lot of advice on how to keep my gums from having inflammation and she was very gentle and nice. I 10/10 recommend coming here, I’ve been a patient since I been in high school and I love coming here.

Fantastic experience: I loved my experience at this office. I had a bad experience with another dentist and my co-worker referred me this one and I'm glad she did. The staff is very helpful. Jacy she helped me book my husband's appointment without a problem and Lauren also helped explain pricing in detail. Dr Aiello was very knowledgeable and also explained in detail. 10/10

Fantastic experience: Received a cleaning today and the hygienist Jackie was AMAZING! Very good music, staff and atmosphere. Bonus poin;, they place a warm pillow on your neck during cleaning and there’s a TV on the ceiling! They thought of everything!

Fantastic experience: Been going to Pearly Whites for years now and they've consistently been amazing. I also bring my toddler there and they are very gentle with him. Even their front desk staff, Vi and Jacy are extremely helpful and make you feel welcome.

Fantastic experience: I had my 1st visit on 4/7/25 and from the moment i walked in i felt very welcomed. Fernanda made me feel so comfortable as I waited for Jackie the hygienist who also was great she was quick and very gentle. Dr Ayanna was my dentist she took her time and explained everything to me and listened to all my concerns.
