Fantastic experience: My family and I have been going to Dr. C for about 5 or 6 yrs. and my new insurance wanted me to pick a new Dentist. I would not switch. When you find a great dentist and staff like Dr.C, you keep them. I only have the best things to say. They keep our teeth well while being friendly and cheerful.

Fantastic experience: Every visit is so pleasant at Westchase Premier Dental! Staff is friendly and courteous. My hygienist, Gerald, is professional, knowledgeable and makes every visit enjoyable. That’s saying a lot when it comes to a visit to the Dentist! I literally have never been so comfortable going to a dentist as I am with Premier Dental!

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for a couple years now. I've always had great cleanings and I couldn't be happier. My wife had a couple crowns replaced and she is happy too. Dr Boswel has a friendly demeanor and really puts you at ease. I love going to the dentist, so I recommend this place. If you don't like going to the dentist, I recommend this place! Addendum: few years later, still the place to go. We live close to downtown Tampa and we still come here for dental care. As long as we live in the Tampa area, we will keep coming here!

Fantastic experience: Westchase Premier Dental is a great dental office. They treat me with care. I am picky regarding dental offices but I will always return to this establishment for my dental needs.

Negative experience: No compromise with scheduling. Times are not convenient and they schedule out. Haven’t even been established and got a voicemail about $100 no show fee. No thanks, I’ll keep looking.

Negative experience: Updated 05/16/25 I have booked my husband appointment with the girl upfront and requested for Gerald on Monday. Today my husband was there and he had another dental hygienist instead of Gerald. This is not only first time about English communication! Last 2 weeks someone from clinic called to my daughter, she barely speak English and we couldn’t understand what she wants. Please hire someone who has efficiency communication in English. At lease they should understand what we talk about and what we request.

Positive experience: This appointment was for a family member. I told the hygienist to take x-rays and to make sure she sees the dentist. Well, the x-rays were never taken, and now I have to take my family member back in 3 months. I like the location of the dentist, but they need to listen to the family member telling them what their person needs.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a cleaning with Gerald, very polite, very professional. Dr. Girgis reviewed the process and noted that my crown is missing. We quickly scheduled the replacement crown. The entire team, including the admin group, have been great with supporting dental insurance claims. Negative experience: I took my daughter here, they said she had over crowding and wanted to pull 4 wisdom teeth ( no cavities in those teeth) she has been a patient well over a year that didn’t sit right with me so I got another opinion from Optum Dental with Dr.Davies and that was not the case, however she had 2 fillings coming out on her #9 and #10 teeth which had to redone today because they were not done correctly per the dentist 6 months ago at Premier Dental costing me to pay twice and causing my daughter more pain, they were not welcoming or friendly I never had the same dentist when going so no continuity of care I don’t recommend or I would definitely seek out a second opinion when they recommend extractions or root canals. My daughter is happy with our new dentist because we have the same Dentist providing her care

My previous crowns were off shade from my last dentist. This is what dentistry should be, but its rare to find an office that really cares. I highly recommend for anyone wanting the best quality!

Fantastic experience: My dentist hours didn’t not work with my work hours any more, I had some pain randomly hit me and this office was able to get me in for an exam same day, and explained everything well and figured out the issues quickly. Everyone was really nice even with me being a last minute squeeze in for the day (I know that can be frustrating but i appreciated the whole team so much) they wrote me a script for some meds to help me get by till my appointment for treatment which they were able to fix me in same week. I’m very grateful for this office and how quickly they’re helping me!

My dental hygienist was kind, and made me understand everything she did with education on how I was to perform proper care for my teeth at home. She was gentle, yet thorough. I then saw the dentist. This was quickly done, as there wasn't any problems. My experience leads me to highly recommend the practice to others.

Negative experience: The female dentist is absolutely horrible. She is nasty and condescending. They don't respond to call backs even during a emergency. I would stay far far away from this place.

Negative experience: This dental practice is disorganized mess. A bunch of floater dentists it seemed as the main guy was out on injury, I went for his reviews. Terrible bedside manner from a very young female edgy dentist. She did nothing so she did save me money that was a plus. Just my experience. Hopefully the main dentist I went there for returned from injury. The more vetted hygienists and assistants were more helpful to me . Staff was great. But the staff is not the dentist.

Negative experience: AWFUL! This place pays for their reviews because there is no way they have a 4.9. If you actually look at the reviews you can see when the "owner " responds and the time frames aren't even close !!! The only reason I went to this place was because I saw they had good reviews and my dentist couldn't get me in quick enough and I had already been in a lot of pain. Let me start by saying Dr Girges, absolutely annihilated the inside of my mouth when she performed a prep for a crown. I had the work done on a Monday and I called that week on Friday to have an emergency call back because I was in so much pain. To no avail no one called me back, and I was in so much pain I ended up going back to my normal dentist, who actually had to do a new temporary because the temporary that they did had a huge gap in it which was causing awful sensitivity and could have caused infection. The pictures are below. I went back in because I was instructed by my dentist to still get the crown installed by them. Although I didn't want to, I had already paid for the crown and insurance would not cover for my dentist to do another one and it would be out of pocket coat. Well as you can imagine that was even more of a nightmare. The assistant couldn't get my temporary off which is generally something very easy to do It should just pop out and the new one gets glued in and adjusted. They ended up having to numb me because she couldn't get the temp crown out ended up cutting me and making me bleed. The bite. is still off on my permanent crown after she took almost an hour shaving it down and shaving it down trying to get it right. When I told the assistant and the dentist about me having to go back to my dentist to get a temporary crown put on due to the pain I was in because no one called me back from their office, they had absolutely nothing to say. Not even, " let me refund the money that you paid out of pocket for the other temporary crown because we messed up your original temporary crown". From the original prep work that the dentist did I developed canker sores all inside my mouth from how rough she was and skin was just coming off on the inside of my cheek I couldn't even brush the tooth for an entire week because I couldn't even bear to put a toothbrush against my gums It hurts so bad. They cut the corner of my lip which took almost 2 weeks to heal. This place is absolutely awful and I would never recommend anyone to go here. I will be telling everyone I know, to ensure they don't end up in the same position I did. AND THIS IS ALL COMING FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS HAD A LOT OF DENTAL WORK DONE. SO I'M NOT NEW TO THIS PROCESS THIS PLACE IS JUST ABSOLUTELY INCOMPETENT.

She was so polite, caring, and gentle. I don't like going to the dentist but she made the whole experience so much better.

Negative experience: RUN AWAY!!! They quoted me a reasonable price for a crown and when i cane in to do the procedure the price went up a few hundred dollars due to (insurance rates changing months before?) or so they say. Fine! I need it done, no big deal. The process of the molar crown was the most painful i have ever experienced in my life. The Dentist was out for leave and had a woman fill in that was ruff and caused aloft of inflammation took weeks before i could eat solids and she had a assistant do most of the work other than the final placement and the grinding of the molar. I called back in after giving the tooth time to heal and it still having pain and not being able to bite on that entire side due to a high spot where the crown appears crooked and is causing non of my other teeth to make contact so i cant chew and its causing constant trauma to the crowned molar. I regret having the faith and trust in this dental office it has been a nightmare. Instead of offering a solution they are asking me to pay them more money, and becoming argumentative and trying to scam me. The Lady even said not to come back….? That cant be legal. I will seek resolution from a third party if no one contacts me to civilly resolve my pain & trust with this office.

Negative experience: My son and I have been going to WestChase Premier since we moved here four years ago. Previously all good experiences until my last visit. I walked in hardly able to stand. My tooth was in excruciating pain, I had a headache like I have never experienced before, and close to passing out. I was scared, needed help, and needed relief. The doctor spent two minutes with me, referred me to specialist for wisdom teeth, and sent me on my way. When I was leaving I could hear her say in the other room "something else must be wrong, bring me her medical history." Something else was wrong, so why not ask me if I am okay? I spent the rest of the day with the most serve tooth pain, racing heart beat, and a headache so strong I could hardly stand at home. I still don't know what caused all of that in one day. But I sure as heck wish the doctor would have told me directly she thought something else was wrong. I think she thought I was on drugs or something based on the tone she used when asking for my record once I leave. Additionally, the refusal of an actual pain med for that day would have helped an established, long time patient. A person isn't a seeker of drugs when they are in actual pain. She did prescribe me the same strength Ibuprofen I have at home, which I stated I already took, so I did not fill it. So yes, rest of the day with no relief even though I told the doctor it was a top pain I ever felt which was clearly visible to everyone in that office. I was in distress. My son and I wont be back. All of that aside, thank you to the receptionist who really cared, offered me water, and got me in quick. Final note, my one star is based entirely on what I heard the doctor say instead of asking me if something else could possibly be wrong.

Fantastic experience: I'm a snow bird from NY and have been looking for a dentist down here in Florida. Two years ago I broke a crown and found an emergency walk-in dentist at Palm Harbor Premier Dental. Dr. Castellano was great! He repaired the crown temporarily and told me to follow up with my dentist in NY. When I went back she was unable to remove the "temporary" crown and said leave it until it falls out again. Two years later I still have the same crown and have become a regular patient of Dr. Castellano's at Trinity Premier Dental. Dr. Castellano is now at West Chase Premier Dental. Just had my first cleaning there. Still great!

Fantastic experience: Gabriella is the best Hygienist ever. Her gentle touch is amazing - no pain at all. I also had a root canal and crown placed on a broken tooth - again very little pain.

Fantastic experience: First time going to the office. Scheduled X-rays, cleaning and exam. Everything was first class. Forms were sent in advance via text so everything was ready when I showed up. Marla did the X-rays and cleaning. She was so kind and you could tell she had a lot of experience that I was grateful for. The dentist explained my X-rays completely. Overall a wonderful experience.

Fantastic experience: Fortunately - I found Dr. Castellano (after a great deal of research) to replace my last dentist who was pressuring me to get a lot of procedures that I found that I didn't need. I will list my reasons to start this review listing myself as "fortunate": - It is easy to get an appointment and the office is open on Saturdays. - The site is easy to get to and sits in a little shopping area with lots of parking. - The lovely staff is courteous - and skilled, and went the extra distance to work with my insurance. - So far I have spent little or no time waiting in the waiting room waiting to be seen. And now for my review of Dr. Castellano: Dr. Castellano, while referring to my x-rays, explained CLEARLY what I needed and why - which was considerably less than what I was told by my last dentist. (He doesn't mind questions and has a sense of humor. He seems a perfect balance between friendliness and professionalism.) All work was done quickly and efficiently with great results. Even the temporaries I needed where done with such care that they felt like my own teeth and none fell off during treatments. Those patients who have a pain tolerance less than mine will be pleased to know that this doctor makes sure that you are comfortable and pain free EVERY step of the way - although unnecessary in my case. Finding this dentist quickly solved a lot of worries I had about my dental care, and considerably reduced my stress level. What a relief! I also want to mention that I met a nice couple in the waiting room who regularly drive an hour and a half to see Dr. Castellano since he moved from his last location. I fully understand why.
