Crowns, empty spaces and bridges filled my mouth which often needed to be replaced. I cried so many times with every tooth pulled and from pain. At Salvatore Dr Rich and his team do everything they can to rescue you from this endless cycle of misery. Positive experience: I’ve noticed this dental office offers incentives for leaving Google reviews — including raffle entries — which I’ve seen promoted in the office, on their Facebook page, and even by email. While I understand the desire for feedback, offering rewards in exchange for reviews is against Google’s policies, likely violates FTC regulations, and, in my opinion, unethical — especially in a healthcare setting where trust and transparency matter. Patients should be able to rely on reviews that are given freely, not influenced by giveaways. Unfortunately, there are no disclaimers that a review was left in response to entry in one of these giveaways so genuine reviews cannot be distinguished from incentivized.

Fantastic experience: I had to get all my teeth crowned as I am a grinder, and my teeth were so low that the only thing that could be done was to cap them all and give me more thickness! I am about 60% through the process. The process went easier than I thought, but there are some times when you're in the seat for hours. However, the new teeth are were worth it! Dr Vera has a very soft touch, and will not allow you any pain. If there is a slight wince on my face, she would stop and ask me if I wanted more novocaine. Everyone gets along, and we all had good conversation. I am very pleased with the work so far. The one thing I didn't consider was the effect of getting new teeth with my eating / jaw movements. I assumed my teeth would have to get used to a new flat tooth surface. Not so!! Salvatore took imprints of the grinded surface of my old teeth, then built those grooves into the new teeth! Fantastic! My jaw now moves around its old pathways and it does not feel like anything changed except deeper teeth. My jaw is happy in its new home! I highly recommend Salvatore to have all types of dental work. Overall - Very Happy! J.

Fantastic experience: My adult daughter got full arches and 8 implants. She received high quality dental care, as well as emotional support by the kindest team of professionals throughout the entire process. She absolutely loves her new smile! It has given her confidence and restored her positivity and light. Most importantly, she has the functionality of strong teeth and can now eat anything she wants.

Fantastic experience: Found this online, and asked some friends who gave great reviews. Building was clean, staff professional and courteous. My exam and cleaning were fast, delicate and without issue. Normally going to the dentist is a hassle but this was easy and affordable. (I am not affiliated with this place of business, am a true customer). Britt was amazing, Dr. Salvatore’s attention to detail is top notch!

Fantastic experience: I had a follow-up with Dr. Vera for a Filling to complete a previous procedure I had done and I can not express how grateful I am for the continued top tier care I received from this office! From the second you walk in, the check-in process is quick and easy. I waited only a few minutes before I was called back to be seen. The hygienist Elle was incredibly personable and made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. The care I received from Dr. Vera was incredible and very accommodating to any extra attention that was needed to complete my process. The Check-out was very quick as well and saw nothing but genuine smiles from all staff and looking further, all patients I happen to see in passing as well. Can't give 10 stars so I guess it's another 5 star experience here for me! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Salvatore is always good to me. No one reputable takes my insurance, so i had to pay out of pocket and they’re the dentist i chose to do that with. I’d rather it get done right over anything else.

Fantastic experience: Although visiting the Dentist's office is not my idea of fun , the friendly people at Salvatore Dental make it feel more comfortable. I have been going to the Salvatore's Dental for almost 50 years with my husband Ron , starting in Schenectady and have always found them and their employees very pleasant.The new facility in Malta is a very nice and modern place and everything seems configured to add comfort to the patient. Brittany took care of my teeth today and did a good job. Very thorough and avoided any discomfort on my part.. Well done. Fantastic experience: I recently had to have a post and crown from an implant removed on an emergency basis because of an infection I got which ate away all the bone on this tooth. Needless to say I was a little concerned. Dr Rich was fantastic. He removed the tooth implant and crown and cleaned the whole area out and put me on antibiotics. The day I had the sutures removed was also a cleaning. The lady who did the cleaning is named Fan and I am now a fan of Fan! I'm over 70 so I've had a lot of people working in my mouth. I must say that Dr Rich and Fan are both fantastic! She is phenomenal. Kind gentle and precise. I hardly knew she was working in my mouth which was sore from everything else going on. So I recommend Salvatore dental without reservation. I've been going there now for about 3 years. Larry Levine

Fantastic experience: I have been looking for a place to go for my implants for over a year now but I'm 65 years young lol. Long story short I went to Salvatore Dental in Malta NY. That's was my best thing I could of evey done. They are phenomenal there the staff the dentist Dr Rich and I can say it how wonderful they are and they are fully staffed I think had to be about 30 people working & walking around but not crowded the hallways were empty staff is always very pleasant, friendly, clean, charming, caring, really caring! Now listen I went in on Monday had all my teeth pulled and then implants 4 implants on top and 2 on the bottom never had pain during or after just soreness but nothing like I thought.they made sure I was good with each tooth they were pulling that's unbelievable my best choice I made! Went back next day got my teeth that's right next day and no pain just sore... so if u are looking try here first u will not regret! P.S. my teeth was a mess from a lot of medicine, smoking and it was all worth it. Even the money

Negative experience: While the office staff are friendly and professional, I am not completely satisfied with the dental implants I had done. The full arch implants are beautiful. I had 2 dental implants (4 teeth) placed on top (front teeth). The teeth do not line up with the rest of my natural teeth on top. I informed the team I was not happy when they first placed the implants. I had to go back and have them removed and placed a second time. The second time was not much different then the first. The temporary plate was so much better and looked completely natural and in line with my teeth. After spending close to $16,000 for two implants, I am not happy at all with the outcome. Hopefully, no one else has to experience the same disappointment.

Negative experience: I called on Monday and let them know that my crown had fallen out and my three front teeth were out. The office staff were very nice and fit me in on Friday for a visit with the dentist. When I arrived they were all very pleasant, including the hygienist Brittany. Then, after some X-rays, Dr. Rich came in and saw me for about 30 SECONDS, and said he didn't know if he could replace the crown temporarily, THAT HE WOULD BE RIGHT BACK. HE NEVER RETURNED.. I SAW THE DENTIST FOR 30 SECONDS, IF THAT!! Then a woman came in and said that the crown could not be replaced, and I needed a full set of dentures, to the tune of $16,000. I have been disabled for 35 years. How in the world can I come up with $16,000?! I asked if I could see the dentist, HE SAID HE WAS COMING BACK IN? She said no, he's in with another patient, you weren't scheduled really to see him.. I was dumbfounded, and then I got very upset because I wanted to talk to Dr Rich, to see how we could resolve the crown issue.. but no, he's in with another patient, and I wasn't scheduled that way I was told. I waited 4 days to see the dentist for 30 seconds, and be told that I need $16,000 worth of work. I told the lady I'd like to see if we could do fix the crown and do a couple fillings instead. SHE HAD NO IDEA. I couldn't believe it.. that's how they run their business? I get 30 seconds with the dentist? He said he'd be right back; but no, he sent in the person to tell me I needed a full set of dentures and it would be $16,000.. who has that kind of money.. not me!! My teeth aren't that bad.. they certainly can be fixed. I couldn't believe I couldn't even speak to Dr. Rich, the dentist.. HE SAID HE WOULD BE BACK AND HE NEVER RETURNED!! THAT'S UNACCEPTABLE TO ME!! I wouldn't go to this office ever.. I certainly don't recommend them!!!!! I would like to add, as an afterthought, that BRITTNEY, the hygienist, was the NICEST and MOST PLEASANT PERSON.. she truly should be RECOGNIZED. SHE made me feel TOTALLY COMFORTABLE!! Obviously, the problem I had was the literally 30 seconds I had with the doctor, and not being able to discuss anything with him; and him not keeping his word that he was coming back!!! Being told he was with another patient, was unacceptable, I had an appointment, as well with the doctor. I called because I had an urgent matter.. having three teeth missing.. in the very front. Obviously, that wasn't taken seriously! They are more interested in the "almighty dollar".. greed is a terrible thing.. a sin! The Lord also teaches, to TREAT OTHERS like YOU would want to be treated. I hope YOU READ this, DR. RICH, and think about THAT!

Negative experience: This office is kind of unprofessional I went in to get some work done when I was there they looked at my mouth then said if I wanted them to do anything they would have to do X-rays that’s fine I paid the money for the X-rays and I haven’t heard from them since I have called multiple times everyday for the last 2 weeks and I kept getting the runaround they finally emailed me with a plan but without surprise they have not contacted me to set something up or schedule me to come in!

Fantastic experience: I cannot sing my praises for Salvatore Dental loud enough. Had been a patient previously but was going to try a new dental office. I didn’t have a good experience at my exam and immediately called Salvatore to get a secondary exam. Dr. Vera, Dr. Rich and all the staff are so friendly and accommodating especially for someone like me who has pretty intense anxiety. Some of my favorite things are: -explains and often shows pictures to help patients understand -gives patients a hard copy of their care plan to take home, including a diagram of their teeth -accommodating and friendly (doesn’t make you feel silly if you shed a tear or two) -beautiful modern office For me , it is all of these that set Salvatore Dental apart. I fully trust the team at Salvatore for all my dental care- and care they truly do.

Negative experience: Absolutely awful experience at Salvatore Dental. I came in with a chipped tooth expecting a fix or at the very least a cleaning. Instead, I was charged $200 for a quick consultation and sent on my way with zero treatment. To make it worse, they referred me to two specialists that I later found out I didn’t even need. The office staff was too busy laughing and joking around to show any real professionalism or concern. It felt like I wasn’t taken seriously at all. Total waste of time and money—I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Positive experience: Beware of their free consultation! I was billed $80.00 for X-rays. I specifically asked prior to taking the X-rays if there was a charge for them and was told no. There is no charge if you schedule an appointment for their services but you are billed if you don’t use them. The sad thing is I had every intention of getting my $8,000.00 Veneers done there and a $800.00 crown for my implant but after getting that bill I will have to find some other dentist to do my work. (My car broke down and I needed to buy a new car which delayed my dental work). That $80.00 bill cost them $9000.00 loss. Hope it was worth it. Update-bill was removed from my account-thanks for making it right. Maybe I will go back after all.

Fantastic experience: After a lifetime of terrible dentists, surgeons, and dental injuries/trauma, I have finally found a dental practice that I can go to consistently. I no longer panic or worry about that they will make things worse or force me through a procedure (like previous dental experiences). Despite my extreme phobia of the dentist, I have been able to get through 6 appointments at Salvatore (four of them extensive) and each one has been excellent! They actually know how to NUMB my mouth and administer nitrous oxide CORRECTLY and that is something I have never experienced before (even during past surgeries elsewhere). For me, cleanings hurt a lot because I have VERY sensitive teeth and everyone claims to be "gentle" and end up being anything but. Trust me when I say that I felt NOTHING during my cleaning with Fan. I have personal experience with Fan, Elle, and Dr Vera and each one of them is GREAT. I never feel like I need to advocate for myself when I'm there because they treat people they way they SHOULD be treated and never force treatment. Lastly, their front staff is also excellent at what they do and they are very professional and nice. It baffles me when businesses have rude front staff (especially when dealing with patients/clients with phobias) but you won't deal with that at Salvatore. I went five years without seeing a dentist and that won't happen again. Make the appointment!

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but the highest respect for each and every employee at Salvatore Dental offices. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant. .courteous and very professional. Dr . Salvatore is a very gifted dental surgeon., he also is very pleasant and patient friendly and takes a lot of pride in the fine work he does. I cannot recommend Salvatore Dental enough.. They are awesome.

While I consider myself lucky to live quite near their office, I wouldn't hesitate to drive a considerable distance to continue my dental care with them if I ever were to move farther away. They demonstrate top notch expertise across the board with the care they provide. And the atmosphere is always warm and friendly in addition to being very state of the art and professional. From the moment I reached out to inquire if they were taking new clients they have been nothing short of amazing. They communicate well and create personal plans to fix/correct whatever work they feel is necessary. I've now had three appointments, two of which required extensive work and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. Dr. Vera and the entire staff are great. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Been a patient with Salvatore Dental for years, and it's been the best Dental experience of my life. Everyone there always seems so happy and helpful. And the hygienists (like Judy) have given me lots of helpful tricks to work brushing and flossing into my daily routines easier.
