I was so disappointed with their services after we paid the full amount and terrible work done. My son did not get the service we paid for over 5,000. For his braces. The worst part of Diamond Braces, they didn't even fix any of his teeth. He left worst

Negative experience: I unfortunately cannot recommend Diamond Braces. I would like to share my disappointing experience as I believe there are areas where improvements could be made. Firstly, we were taken aback by an unexpected additional charge of $1,100. Our child had been receiving treatment, and there was no prior communication about this additional cost. After waiting for several weeks, we were finally informed by email that this was due to a miscalculation on Diamond Braces’ part, and that treatment could not proceed until the additional payment was made. At this point, my child had already fallen behind by six weeks. Additionally, the initial cost estimate we were provided lacked sufficient clarity. It was later explained that the original amount was only an "estimate," but for us, a discrepancy of $1,100 felt more like an oversight. Error could also be an appropriate term. We believe this could have been better communicated from the outset to avoid confusion and frustration. When we attempted to reach customer service to address these concerns, we encountered significant delays in getting assistance. After spending a considerable amount of time on hold, we were disappointed by the lack of understanding and empathy regarding our situation. Moreover, the customer service representative’s comment about our choice of Invisalign versus traditional metal braces felt unnecessarily judgmental and inappropriate, as this was a personal decision we made for our child’s needs. Although I understand that others may have had a positive experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend Diamond Braces based on our experience. I hope they take these concerns into account and work to improve both their transparency regarding costs and their customer service moving forward. My experience suggests poor management and leadership to be the cause

Negative experience: I am SERIOUSLY regretting our decision to get braces here. I’m sure it’s fine if you are looking for mostly cosmetic or relatively simple corrections. But if your orthodontic needs are complex, I highly recommend seeking an individual practitioner. I’ve had 3 other experiences with braces, so I have a fair basis for comparison. We came here because I thought it would be “convenient” but the cost for that is proving to be pretty high. The most egregious issue is the absolute lack of communication. The doctor speaks to the techs about what is being done , but that information is NEVER directly conveyed to the patient- and maybe you roll with it thinking “they know what they’re doing”. BUT then you keep seeing different doctors each visit and you realize NONE of them are on the same page about what is being done!!! Doctors 1&2 “No, there’s no need to remove the lower 3rd molars” Doctor 3 “Maybe it would be a good idea, but it’s not a problem”. Doctor 4 “You have to get these lower 3rd molars removed before we can proceed any further”. In January, “No, It’s too soon to consult with the oral surgeon” In May, “You really should have had a consult with the oral surgeon by now so that we have a plan”. According to the doctor LAST month it was imperative to find a way to attach brackets to his upper molars (but no, they do NOT do bands which is the obvious solution). Of course bite block and brackets all got sheared off. THIS visit as we are preparing to leave I ask my son if the arrangement feels better this month… THEY DID NOT REPLACE THEM?!? No mention of this decision to him or me! The time she was working in his mouth was to remove and replace a damaged bracket in a different location- also not mentioned. And when asked, the whole situation was just hand waved away. I understand that the doctor is busy. There are more than dozen chairs and there is ONE doctor hopping around to all of them- which is honestly crazy. But for over FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS, I should not have to act like a bully to get basic information. What is being done this visit? What is the goal? Where are we in the overall plan? With previous orthodontist, this was just standard procedure. If my son’s orthodontic needs were beyond the scope of the practice, they should have said so and not accepted him as a patient.

Negative experience: Coming to this place with an appointment is insane. Still have to wait an hour+ to be seen. There is an initial waiting room which goes into another waiting area. Also, this whole open room concept which goes against HIPAA is not good. How is this place still in business when I can see patient information from the open waiting room.

Fantastic experience: Great experience! The people here were very kind and helpful. They made the Invisalign process super easy and accommodated to me when needed. I definitely recommend this location if you want a very helpful and caring staff. They completely transformed my teeth and in great timing. I specifically want to mention Lana and Maha, as they were super helpful and kind. They made coming to appointments much better.

From the front desk staff, to the staff who scans your teeth to the associates were all amazing. So happy I chose this location and company to get Invisalign with. Thank you and please keep up the amazing service like I experienced today. My last appointment was also at 11 and I was out out the door at 12:30, just to pick up the next 12 trays. I was so angry because of the long wait time and I was forgotten about by the doctor to check how the new tray was fitting. I sat there for so long and was very upset. Thank you for a better experience today. I am looking forward to finish my treatment.

Negative experience: They have a very bad service and they also have a lie. They told me that insurance pays all the costs of the calendar, even if I'm 21 years old, and now they want me to pay 3,000. What the hell is this? Why did I put the calendar if insurance doesn't cover me? It's a false company and I also hold them responsible for ruining my teeth because they stopped the treatment on me.This place is very bad. They do not do their work well. They ruined my teeth. They only care about money. I do not recommend it at all. If you want to ruin your teeth, go to them.I contacted them at least give me the amount. What the hell is this place? It is very bad. I do not recommend it at all. I will file a report against them because if the insurance only paid 1000, why did I get braces and I have to pay 3000? My teeth were destroyed because of them and they did nothing for me. Very bad service and there is no cleanliness at all. You are a university student. Who can bring this amount? Now my psychological state has worsened because of them. I am always thinking about how I can improve the appearance of my teeth.

Negative experience: Worst place to get the bracers done for my daughter. They told me she couldnt finished her treatment until I did another procedure to her. Had only 3 treatments left and then like it took me more than 6 months to find a specialist that would take our insurance and will work with her type of case they say I "went over" the 24 months even though the contract do not specify it had yo be consecutive. It could have been 24 months of her coming here not consecutive (not the same thing) Now, I need to pay extra for those 3 left adjustments she needs. I payed the whole thing almost 5k and they want to charge almost 500 more for 3 adjustments. Other places gives you waranty after finishing paying for life. These people only care about the money.

Fantastic experience: Courteous and efficient! My son had a plan to catch to go back to college and they were so accommodating. We were in and out. He made it just in time to catch his flight! We are grateful for the service and care they have shown us so far. And, Desirine is a true blessing!

Negative experience: THE MOST UNPROFFESIONAL PLACE!! This is my first and last time coming here. I had a 2 PM appointment, and after waiting for 30 minutes in a barely lit Xray room, someone finally came in to take my xrays. She tried to make small talk with me in Spanish, but I wasn’t interested because I was already frustrated with the delay. Instead of respecting my obvious frustration, she decided to get confrontational by asking if I speak Spanish. When I answered, she snapped, “Well, you're not answering me.” As if I’m obligated to engage in unnecessary conversation. I came for a consultation with the doctor, not to chit-chat with her. How is this acceptable behavior? I was in utter disbelief. I don’t owe anyone an explanation for not engaging in unnecessary conversation. She could’ve recognized my frustration and just done her job, but instead, she escalated the situation. I tried to defuse the situation and calmly explain that I was upset due to the 30-minute wait and wasn’t in the mood for small talk. Instead of trying to understand or show any empathy—or better yet just DO HER JOB AND TAKE THE XRAY—she became defensive and combative and wasted more of my time. She then had the audacity to claim I had to wait because she had to take her lunch. Why should I be penalized for her taking a break? If there’s no coverage, that’s a management issue, not mine. Her excuse was insulting and unprofessional. She clearly doesn’t value anyone’s time. I had no intention of even mentioning my frustration with the wait; I was just going to get my consultation done and leave. But this assistant started interrogating me and then had the nerve to get upset when I expressed my annoyance. While I was explaining my frustration, she huffed and made exaggerated breath noises, turning what should have been a simple procedure into a bizarre confrontation that again she STARTED!!! If this is how they treat potential patients, I can’t imagine how they treat those who’ve already paid. I didn’t stick around to meet the doctor. First impressions matter, and this assistant failed miserably. This was, without a doubt, the most unpleasant and uncomfortable experience I’ve had in any doctor’s office. I simply wanted to take the X-ray, see the doctor, and leave—never expecting to be interrogated for not engaging in small talk. After that, I walked out. I don’t have insurance, and I’m paying out of pocket, so there’s no way I’m giving my hard-earned money to a place that treats people this way. My son needs braces, so now they’ve lost two paying clients. When I left, the receptionist tried to apologize, but I didn’t want to make a scene because I was beyond mad. She was the only professional part of the encounter. I was disgusted by the whole ordeal and just wanted to get as far away as possible.

Negative experience: TERRIBLE SERVICE! after wearing for 2 years my teeth looks terrible, I paid 5k and i am very unsattisfied, I went to other dentist and they said I have to do it all over again. When I called diamond braces they were very rude and the woman said I can do wahtever I want because they’ve been in business for more than 19 years. I am currently sueing them.

Negative experience: I was a patient for 2 yeasr in this place and this place has terrible service, I don't usually leave bad reviews but it's frustrating to work with these types of places. At first they were so-so but lately they have terrible service. I've been calling them for a simple referral that I need, I've been calling them for almost 2 months and they always say they will send it to me, I got someone different with different answers and everyone takes my message and so far I haven't been able to see a doctor here because of their lack of professionalism and they even transferred me to the complaints department 2 times and they still don't do anything. I haven't gone personally because I moved 12 hours away from the state of Jersey, I can understand that they have a lot of patients although it's not an excuse, I've worked in places that have more offices and patients and they always have staff for this type of things. If you have a lot of patients get employees to do the job, almost 2 months waiting for a referral is ridiculous. I really would not recommend this place, they have very bad customer service.

Negative experience: The service here is terrible, i understand how many patients they have but they emphasized my appointment is at ten and had to be early morning which was inconvenient for me. I made it work and came into my appointment just to be sitting in the waiting area for 40+ minutes and when i finally got into the orthodontist chair i had to wait an entire hour just to be looked at. I got in at 10 and it was passed 12 when i finally got looked at. Terrible service

Negative experience: Took my girlfriend here because we live in linden and that location opens only twice a week. So she got adjusted in linden and the wire started to stick out got an appointment for Saturday at 3 and the place happens to overbook so that was a waste of time now she’s here in pain cause the wire rubs on her cheek and scratches and picks her cheek. All I was told was sorry we can’t see you guys we close at 4. My question is why make appointment so late where we can’t be seen and now we have to wait for the linden location to be available. Total waste of time and agony for her.

Positive experience: Not the best experience, but there’s two Registered Dental Assistant that are amazing and love their job nothing but smiles from them two ladies. Their names are Claudia and Desrine they need more people like them at that office.

Positive experience: My son just started to have a brace . Everyone is nice & friendly. But I don't like the fact that their treatment area is open to any other patient.... Their Dental chairs were in the middle of the big room without any division. No privacy at all & because of this, parents of minor children are advice to step outside for privacy to other patient. After few days of visiting this facility, my son got swollen jaw. We seek treatment coz it was becoming big & painful, he developed abscess and the doctor said it was +MRSA.

Negative experience: Took my son here for a consultation two months ago for braces and I have called several times to follow up regarding his insurance submission but to no avail. The last time I called, I requested to speak to a supervisor and was told someone would contact me with 24 hours, I still have not heard from anyone. The poor level of customer service is astounding and I would NOT recommend this business. They are unorganized and have zero follow up/sense of urgency for clients needs.

Negative experience: I went there for 2 years straight and it was the worst. They took forever while there was NO ONE THERE. I can say this because I use to go here. They were always rough on you and when you were seated they didn’t come back to you for almost a HOUR!! I do not recommend this place if you do not want to sit for a long time and wait for someone to attend you.

Fantastic experience: From the receptionist who showed professional and kindness, to my grands being taken for x-rays them speaking with person who went over the x-rays explaining them for each grand as well as explaining the type of braces their insurance if not denied would allow. Showing grands how too and what not to do. She was kind and knowledgeable explained and answered our inquiries in detail.

Negative experience: I used to like this place for the semi fast service. Unfortunately today it took an hour just to get my bands popped off. As soon as the assistant with the blonde hair I think her name was olga if I heard correctly belittle me because I went to my orthodontist appointment right after eating a meal, it was 7pm at this point with me working and in college I unfortunately was unable to eat until around 5:30 right before my 6 PM appointment, as I was rushing because I had missed my last 2-3 appointments I quickly rinsed with mouth wash and went on. She proceeded to reply with “it’s 7pm school was done at 2 you were home” then shamed me for not being able to come in since June. Since June I’ve received one call trying to reschedule. This office has severely went down. As soon as my appointment was over I requested an office change. Which is unfortunate I liked the old assistant I hope she delivered her baby safely!

Fantastic experience: It's refreshing to go to an office that has great customer service and your questions are answered. You don't feel like it's a fast food restaurant where their saying "Next". They also answer my child's question and the communication within their office staff was great. There's no pressure. Yes, they are there to provide a service but they are not car salesman trying to just make a sale. It feels like they are invested in their patients. There's also options if you need to make arrangements for out of pockets expenses.

Negative experience: Initially, I was told that my case wasn't that complicated and that I would only need 12 to 18 months of invisalign to straighten my teeth and fix my bite. Well, after paying nearly $5k, 36 MONTHS later, and multiple revisions, and in the end, my teeth are still not straight! Also, this place is severely lacking in making their service personable. Every single visit, you are seen by a different doctor or assistant who doesn't have a clue who you are and is seeing your case for the first time on the computer as they sit down for your turn. Its like your just another number. Your seen in an open space where everyone can hear your business and they just have too many patients thus the service seems rushed. I gave 2 stars and not 1, because of the improvement in my bite and my teeth are straighter than before, but again, I didn't pay nearly $5k and go through the pain of wearing invisalign day and night, and do so many revisions, just to not have my teeth perfectly straight. So, i conclude that one of the doctors dropped the ball in their revision to straighten my teeth.At the end, a they asked if I was happy with it and I told them no, but nothing could be done unless I paid extra money and keep going God knows, how many months more. My sister went to another business and had a completely different experience and her teeth look perfect. So no, I would never reccomend this business to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I moved from New Jersey to Virginia Beach in 2023, and my trips from VA - NJ worth it the experiences I had with the Staff at Dimond braces in Clifton is remarkable my finial visit they went above and beyond thank you ladies i really appreciate your accommodation with that I save time and money.

Positive experience: I have invisalign and every staff member who attends me is great. The process is easy and they help me understand what I need to do and how everything is working. The only problem I have is when I call I never get an answer. I have waited on the phone for up to an hour for someone to answer and still no one answers. When i’m told I’m 6th caller in line I then get the message saying I’m 16th caller in line, which makes no sense.

Negative experience: As a patient that is still getting treatment. I really thought this was going to go smoothly and good yet it clearly isn't. There used to be certain workers that did everything super good, like for example when I got my expander taken off, they comforted me, gave me breaks, especially since it took almost 3 hours for the entire appointment! Although I no longer see those certain workers and im disappointed in my treatment. Im treated roughly and it hurts so bad! Keep in mind, im a teenager. Theres this one worker here who TUGS ON MY TEETH!!! It hurts so bad after having my expander taken out because my jaw literally pops everytime I open my mouth! It ruins my healing process every time I get attended by them!. My bracket keeps getting damaged by the latex rubberbands and I get told off for eating hard or sticky things when I don't eat then at all. Im deadass on a diet so why do you guys keep thinking im purposely doing that! Plus I asked if you guys have latex free because im allergic to it but I was ignored and my mouth was literally on fire. My mouth got super red, i had hard trouble breathing and my mouth was so swollen. You guys really dont care at all about your patients! Worst of all, you rush things and only care to get more patients in just to get money! As well the attitude i got by them is insane! I'm not doing anything to offend you or harm you at all??!? Come on!! Im a literal kid and you're getting mad for asking a simple question on what you're even doing?!!?!? Literally avoid at all cost! Edit: Went today and they gave me the most attitude ever, worst staff ever.

Negative experience: THE WORSE. Why set appointments if you don't hold up to them!? Appointment was scheduled for 12:30, we arrived 15 minutes early. We were told to have a seat in the front waiting area which was understandable, however, once 1pm rolled around and we were still not called ,I knew I was dealing with a nightmare establishment. Well, we were finally called to come to the back, around 1:10pm only to be seated in another waiting area. Then around 1:30 we finally reached the exam chair! Lol, another nightmare. It's so much to unpack here, to much to write. I'll break it down My daughter was here to get her top braces adjusted and to install braces on her lower teeth, they put the brackets on her lower teeth and walked away with my daughters mouth wide open . After a few minutes I said something and was told they are waiting for the doctor to check the brackets! Well, can you cover her mouth at least, so, after waiting again the doctor finally came over , didn't even look my way or greet my daughter, very unprofessional. Once the doctor check the brackets,she just walked away, and another lady came to do the blue light, this is the third woman in my daughter's mouth. Time now is 1:51 pm and they are just about to install the wire on her bottom teeth. Our appointment was for 12:30 don't forget . Welp,time is now 1358 we are just finishing up. Don't come here and expect to be seen when you are scheduled to.

Fantastic experience: For the 2 1/2 years we have been coming for my daughter’s braces, I have never met anyone who is not pleasant. The staff are friendly. The person who did my daughter’s braces debonding , her name is Desiree if I am not mistaken is very jolly and pleasant. My questions and requests were addressed. I will recommend this place to people.

My daughter did not always have the best experience in 23 months some days the service was good and some visits not so good. I don’t want to bash the Drs are pretty good and pleasant but the support staff is horrible. The manager of the location Maria is the most unprofessional. She has no professional etiquette and decorum. She should not be the person they have to handle an operation like this where patients spend so much money she doesnt have regard or value for people and business. I would never recommend anyone to this place again!

Fantastic experience: I had a consultation here for braces. The staff here is great! Everyone was friendly and personable. They also made me feel welcome as a transgender person, they correctly gendered me and asked if I would like a different name or pronouns on my profile. Great experience!

Positive experience: They are great. The only thing that I don’t particularly like is the fact that some of the spanish ladies seem to always get bothered with little things that a client does. I feel like that should definitely get checked.

Negative experience: Overall costumer service it’s horrible, when me as a parent have questions in regards of a treatment that my kid is going under and the dentist and the assistant are bother by me asking and they are extreme rude, it’s ridículos. It makes it very uncomfortable.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! AGAIN DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! They only want your money, they don’t care about your results, they don’t care about what you want, READ THEIR POLICIES!!!! I promise, you will not want to get anything done there.

Negative experience: Terrible decision coming to this place, if I could give this place a zero, I would, they only care about the money, not the clients, READ THEIR BRACES POLICIES!!!! If your teeth are not straight by the timeframe they give you, they will stop the treatment or they’ll make you pay extra!!! Once the treatment was done (I wasn’t 100% happy with the results, my teeth weren’t 100% straight, I definitely needed extra time with my braces) I paid $350 extra for retainers, half of the retainers came off after 2 months, I went back for a replacement or for them to glue it back, they wanted to charge me $350 again for their terrible job, retainers are not supposed to come off after 2 months! Of course I refused to pay $350 again, they sent me home with half of the retainer hanging in my mouth, didn’t even have courtesy to at least take the retainer out or just glue it back! Also Check their reviews in Yelp! Terrible costumer service! Terrible overall! Never again! Place do yourself a favor and avoid this place!

Fantastic experience: Claudia was extremely attentive and thorough during my visit. Claudia made sure to go over the cleaning and placement process for my Invisalign. Would definitely give her a raise as she went above and beyond!

Negative experience: This location provides horrible customer service. I scheduled an appointment and upon arrival I noticed there were about 10ppl waiting to be seen. When I asked what time my kids will be seen they stated I had to wait 2hrs. The employee explained to me that there were several patients who arrived “late” which ruined the schedule. There should be no reason why someone should have to wait 2hrs when they scheduled an appointment and arrived on time. In fact- those patients who arrived late should have been declined service. When I asked to reschedule - the only appointment they had available was one month out- they couldn’t even accommodate me with a sooner appointment which is very frustrating and disappointing. In my opinion, whoever is running/managing this site should be fired for how unorganized their schedule is and not making customer service there number one priority. I would never recommend this location/ doctors office to anyone.
