Fantastic experience: My experience was good The staff was very nice answered any and all questions I had explain procedures so I had a good understanding what to expect. Extractions and upper denture and lower denture experience up-to-date has been good.

Fantastic experience: I need a root canal through a crown. They were unable to do it, but they were very helpful and helping me find an endodontist. I would recommend them again.

Negative experience: As I continue to use Dixie Dental the service declined. It appears to be lots of confusion within the work environment. There’s excuses from staff and shifting fault to the patient.

Negative experience: Brought my partner in because they said he couldn’t drive himself home after the surgery. We get here, wait an hour and some change. Finally get called to the back, within 30-40 minutes he’s coming back up front. They messed up something with his insurance even though we handled all of this in advance and called and checked with the insurance and Dixie Dental to be sure everything was covered and he says that Dixie Dental told him it wasn’t covered and if they continue he would be expected to pay. Get yourself together Dixie Dental. Such a huge disappointment and aggravation to wake up at the crack of dawn and drive all the way across the bay and then have to wait for so long only to find out that Dixie Dental has incompetent people handling their insurance claims and such.

Fantastic experience: High possibly for same day appointments / payment options if needed. First visit (very anxious about dental appointments) front desk personnel were very helpful - dental assistants and super kind and extremely professional/efficient/helpful, my anxiety was at minimum with any questions and concerns. Doctor was quick and efficient. I wasn't mentally prepared for extraction the same day but they were completely prepared lol (I'm used to separate appointments and in my mind this was just consultation and x-ray day). If you need extraction they have two options for sedation and explain it to you. No hidden fees. And they are on Go when it comes to getting bad teeth out of your mouth. My daughter and I both had a great experience with the staff and will be back for an extraction appointment soon!

Fantastic experience: If there was a way to give higher ratings i would , we drove 6hrs.arrived at 8a.m with in 1hr.the office was packed and thru out the day patients were coming in from the time we ckd.in until we left the entire staff was great and Dr.Furgus I can't praise him enough ,totally awesome I have never seen or had a dentist that is more dedicated to the patients, they we're short staffed as I said earlier we arrived at 8a.m the office closed at 4 myself and my sister we're there until 8p.m they said they close when all patients are taken care of when we left we had prescriptions for antibiotics and pain med. Thank you Dr.Fergus and entire staff

If I went somewhere else it was going to cost me way more than it cost me. 5 stars is not a high enough rating it 100 stars in my opinion. I will recommend to everyone that I know 6 hour drive was worth it.

Fantastic experience: By far the best dental experience I’ve ever had. The doctor went above and beyond to ensure I was well taken care of. The staff Was tremendous as well! But once again, extremely grateful for the treatment I received from the doctor second to none!!

Positive experience: The staff are all very kind and helpful. The pricing also seems very competitive for the area. You can really save money on extractions going here instead of automatically seeing an oral surgeon. I did wait a long time (over an hour) past my appointment time, which was stressful. But mostly because I am terrified of the dentist and hearing all the drilling and waiting indefinitely was difficult. However, they see a lot of people and they are doing their best. So I just recommend being prepared for a possibly long wait, bring a sweater or blanket, something to read, etc. I will be suggesting this place to anyone who needs extensive dental work.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing. My husband got 23 teeth pulled then I just got a tooth pulled. Dr Ferguson and Woodhead are great. Didn’t feel any pain with the needles or the pulling tooth process. Everyone made me feel welcomed and very comfortable. From the nurses to the doctors to the front desk everyone was good to us both. We both highly recommend them.Just got his permanents and they are perfect!!!

Negative experience: This was & has been the worst experience of my life. I had 10 teeth extracted Wednesday, 07/16.

Negative experience: Everything went as expected and my dentures look great. I expect that I will have a good fitting dentures. The staff was polite and professional. I have recommended Dixie dental to my friends and family and they have had great experiences also. I made this review sitting in the chair at the dentist office, because they very much encourage you to, practically push you to. Well, when I got home and really checked out my dentures they had cuts cross ways the front teeth, like through 6 teeth. I won’t go back there. And I think the girl that brought them to me knew it because she kept looking around nervously and hurried me out of there. I wasn’t feeling well that day so I pretty much let her hurry me out. My mistake!

Positive experience: The people are nice, but they make you an appointment for 8am, and you are not seen until 12:30. This was after you pay them and come back. Hope my dentures fit good.

Fantastic experience: Had a wisdom tooth removed. I'm obviously not a dentist but I felt it took an experienced dentist like ANNAMALAI NADARAJAN, to pull it without breaking it and possibly needing a oral surgeon. He is a strictly business dentist and I respect that. $420 to remove a erupted wisdom tooth with no insurance.

Negative experience: I'm not happy with the service. I had a 1 o'clock appointment. It makes no since to sit in the waiting area over 2 hrs waiting to have an abutment placed. They book too many people and have you sitting for hours.

Positive experience: I would not recommend this business, but it got the job done with no infection, as of yet. The dentist is experienced, but didn't look at my history, and didn't seem to look at my X ray, himself. However, I'm not the best person when it comes to dentists, so I do not wish my fear to color this review, unfairly. I needed the tooth pulled quickly, and they did it for me and it wasn't expensive. But there should have been soap in the women's bathroom, that's for sure. And a person who is very upfront about not needing or wanting pain med prescription shouldn't be handed one, simply bc the DR can't take five seconds to glance at the paperwork you took your time to fill out for him.

Fantastic experience: From day, one I came to the dentist everybody from the front door all the way to the back was very respectful, very nice and knowledgeable for all the questions that I had asked everything they told me upfront was true everything they told me that they was gonna do they did it on Monday. Negative experience: I’m writing to share my recent experience in hopes that it can be used to improve communication and service moving forward. Originally, I was scheduled with the Mobile, AL location for a specific dental service. However, when I called to verify pricing, I was informed that I had reached the Spanish Fort office. I was also told that the Mobile location did not have a dentist skilled in the service I needed. I then called the Mobile office directly to confirm, and a staff member verified that this information was correct. However, no one from the Mobile office ever reached out to cancel or reschedule my original appointment. That same day, I was referred to the Spanish Fort location and scheduled for an appointment for the following Friday. Before confirming, I specifically asked if there was a dentist on staff who could provide the service I needed and was told “yes.” I drove 40 minutes and waited for two hours, only to be informed that the dentist who performed that procedure had left a few weeks prior. I missed a full day of work only to find myself starting the process all over again. Although the staff at the Spanish Fort location was kind, the lack of organization and communication was frustrating. It’s essential that all team members are kept informed so they can provide accurate information and better service to patients. Unfortunately, this experience has discouraged me from recommending your practice to others—even if your pricing is competitive. I would rather pay more for reliable service and clear communication.

Over my 42 years of visiting dental clinics, I have never experienced service as kind and thorough as I found here. Dr. Fergus stood out in particular. He has an amazing ability to detect how serious a problem is and to act quickly. I had been dealing with ongoing discomfort and a serious infection that had caused me pain for over six weeks. Despite my many calls and desperate pleas for help, other dental offices dismissed me or refused to see me. Each rejection left me feeling more alone and overwhelmed with worry. I knew my health was at risk, and waiting only made my condition worse. The urgent situation demanded immediate action, yet I felt ignored and helpless. During this difficult time, I suffered facial swelling that was not only painful but also made me look disfigured. The swelling made it hard to eat or even speak comfortably. I endured sleepless nights where pain kept me awake for hours. My weight dropped because I couldn’t eat properly, and I felt weaker every day. I even had to visit the emergency room twice. Still, pain and infection remained got worst everyday. I feared my condition could lead to something worse if not treated right away. Finding Dixie Dental felt like a lifeline. When I finally walked through their door, I was met with warmth, understanding, and professionalism. The staff welcomed me and made me feel safe. Negative experience: If I could take stars i would. Why am i being told by my 70 year old grandparents that they cant sit in the lobby after purchasing (withoit insurance) a service from this practice? They aren't clients is what was quoted. Even after spending thousands of dollars on a service they are told to sit and wait outside. How long? Several hours of waiting outside. They werent even from the area. Lucky im 10 hours away and couldnt be there same day.

Negative experience: I’ll be back… With my lawyer. I’m done being polite and understanding. Can’t get a call back and the off chance they answer or I go up there I keep being told “ your partial will be in this week and we will call you… since February! I was told it would o be three weeks. And here I am almost 6 months later. I paid in full. The office is a total cluster of malpractice . I was told “ come in the finals are ready” only to have my impressions taken again, and two days later pick up my Finals. I never got my bottoms that I paid for and my top are way to big.. when I asked where they were.. I was totally brushed off and then the dentist left for the day. No answers, just rushed out the door. I choke, can’t eat and have sores spots that make me not be able to wear Them at times.. and the adhesive goes away in two hours.because they are a poor fit... I have to constantly reapply the glue or they rub and create sores on my gums … and they fall out when I talk. This whole year long journey has been a total nightmare, almost $5k later and I still live in pain daily.

Negative experience: I would leave a negative star if I could. This place is horrible. My husband had and appt at 900 AM, he sat in the waiting room for over an hour. They tried pulling the wrong tooth and he kept telling them he could still feel pain. They gave him no instructions just handed him prescriptions and walked off and left him in the chair with the bib still on. He had so call out to someone to see if he was done. Later on that day after the numbness wore off he kept feeling something sharp rub against his tongue so I was looking. They didn't even get all the tooth he still has a piece of the tooth. Absolute joke.

Positive experience: Scheduling is tricky. Got there around 7:50 for an 8AM appt, checked in and finally gave up waiting at 10AM. Called back a few weeks later to reschedule and they told me to just come on in. Another hour and a half wait, got x-rays ($160ish?), paid in advance, then dr. came to pull a broken molar. Tough extraction but he made sure there was no pain and checked in often to make sure I was doing alright. They set me up with thorough instructions for aftercare. I believe all-tolled I paid $340. Hope I won't need to, but would go back if I ever need more work!

Negative experience: Every time you call NO ANSWER!!!!!! They don’t need a phone. Customer service was PASS POOR!!!’ I walked out!!!! If you can’t get a smile and look in your face HOW CAN YOU TRUST THEM WITH YOUR SMILE

Negative experience: You must make an appt for services for dentures or adjustments. Well THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE!!!! If the machine picks up don’t bother leaving a message. We left 7 messages. NOT ONE returned call. They will take walk ins for extractions. Once they get several thousand dollars GOOD LUCK getting dentures or anything else!

Negative experience: I left without getting services done. I traveled there from bham. I had to get a jump from the wrecker services. I informed them of my situation and that i would be there as soon as possible. I was 30 minutes away. When I got there. They allowed me to get an x-ray and exam done. Which was $160. Then informed me my impression would not be available until the next day. I i formed them again i was form out of town. When i filled out my paperwork i wrote it at the bottom and took a snap shot. Even after all that! They said my impression would be ready the next day. when giving them my insurance information they said they could not accept my insurance because they needed an actual card. I have been to si many places that call your insurance company and get authorization. Not them my total was $1999 due. And when I voiced how I felt I was considered a disgruntled customer. I didn't curse or act out but just not going along with the program was enough for them to profile me . Also keep in mind their policy is everything is completed the same day especially with the distance I had traveled and had to be back at work that night. The manager i guess is supposed to be the security guard who needs to take some real customer service classes and needs to learn her place even from a legal place. They are a money pit and don't care about their patients. They deserve 0 stars!!

Fantastic experience: LOVE LOVE LOVE my new teeth!!!! I got my original ones from Northcut DO NOT GO THROUGH A SECOND PARTY, go directly to the source!!!!! My 1st were junk/cheap! They gave me no option of anything and gave me the economy dentures, and I paid double!!!! I didn’t know better! I was very impressed at how efficient back of the house was…very efficient, nice, and informative!!! Front desk could work on being more hospitable, and engaging with the customers at the window. Not nice, engaging, nor professional. The front desk would be my only complaint, everything else was excellent!!!!

Negative experience: Appointment was set for 8am but I wasn’t called back until 10:45 where I waited almost another hour till the dentist came. The dentist was a sweetheart but the wait time is horrendous.

I called they and complained about it only to have to wait until after the weekend to adjustment my partial. I am very dissatisfied and have to take an extra day off work to get it done. I don't think I'll ever be going back. .

Negative experience: My husband has a gum disease and his teeth are severely infected. We’ve been searching around for oral surgeons and was told this place was great. NOT!! Not only did we wait almost an hour and a half past our appointment but once we got back, the doctor barely spoke to my husband. He was very rude to him. My husband is high risk, due to being a diabetic, and he basically brushed that off. He wouldn’t even really talk to him until he came back with the money. Knowing how infected his teeth are, the doctor wouldn’t even prescribe him any antibiotics. He said he’ll prescribe those when you come back with the money. He didn’t go over anything, all he didn’t was give him a paper with an estimate. Not to mention, there’s no patient privacy. There are not even any rooms, everything is in the open, only divided by 1 wall that separates each chair.

Negative experience: Terrible office team!! They sit at the front desk and Do nothing!! Refuse to answer the phone until they desire to. Went to get 3 tooth extractions with a temporary plate. The next day I was in excruciating pain. Looked in the mirror and notice that part of my tooth was still in my gums. I had remove the temporary plate and take ibuprofen to assist with the pain. One week later after leaving messages for them to call me back no one has yet to return my call. I feel like I just wasted 1500. And my mouth is bare. I have called this company everyday and NO ONE HAS ANSWERED THE PHONE, OR RETURNED MY CALL. THEY OWE ME MY PERMANENT TEETH, BUT I WOULD RATHER HAVE A FULL REFUND!! I WAS SUPPOSE TO TAKE A TRIP OUT OF TOWN BUT NOW I AM EMBARRASSED TO GO WITH MY MOUTH LOOKING LIKE THIS!! DiDNOT RECEIVE A CALL FROM THE DOCTOR LATER THAT EVENING TO CHECK UP ON ME AFTER HE PULLED 3 TEETH OUT OF MY MOUTH. HE LEFT ME IN PAIN!! I AM A DIABETIC AND SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED SOME ANTIBIOTICS TO ASSIST ME FROM HAVING AN INFECTION. DIDN'T GET THAT EITHER!! MY HEALING IS DIFFERENT FOR THAT REASON. IT IS LISTED IN MY PROFILE THAT I AM A DIABETIC. I AM STILL DEALING WITH PAIN AND IM NOT SURE IF I HAVE AN INFECTION. I CANNOT USE THE TEMPORARY TEETH,AND IT STATES IN THEIR OFFICE THAT YOU MUST HAVE AN APPOINTMENT TO BE SEEN! I LIVE IN FLORIDA AND I CANNOT AFFORD TO JUST TAKE A CHANCE AND DRIVE THERE AND NOT BE SEEN. THIS IS A TERRIBLE BUSINESS!! AFTER CALLING,AND CALLING I AM OUT OF OPTIONS!!! Positive experience: So far they have been great! I was sent to them from affordable dentures on range line where I have been down the road to hell. Dixie Dental has shown me more care and concern in one day than that other place has in 10 months!

Fantastic experience: The staff are the best. I started using them many years ago at there old location. I have received nothing but great service. I have and will continue to tell others about the service received there.

Fantastic experience: The service was quick and efficient, the dentist and his assistant were both friendly, helpful, and polite.

Negative experience: They were all very nice. However once you go and pay. They will not answer phones do not call back. If you need repairs you’re screwed. They are not going to help you

Negative experience: Been here for over an hour just to pick up something. If u come her bring a pillow and blanket. Absolutely the worst chairs. No satisfaction.

Fantastic experience: The staff was great, I have had issues in the past where that was an issue. I was thoroughly informed of my needs and options to begin fixing them. I am not insured at this time and was thrilled with the two separate quotes I was given, both much less than quotes from other dentist offices. I recommend Dixie Dental to anyone struggling in this area, insured or not!!

Negative experience: This place is ridiculous. Definitely bring a lunch your gonna be waiting at least 3 hours after your appointment time, hell they could at least offer water as money hunger as this place is

Fantastic experience: Place is awesome. The people were great and so kind. Never have I ever had the most caring people. They pulled all teeth and got dentures same day. I won't paid 4000 for all which isn't bad at all. I would Def recommend. Staff was kind and awesome
