I just went today for a cleaning and just had to make a review on angla!! It’s really rare to find someone so personable and caring. She answered all my questions even the stupid ones with care and reassurance . She explained everything she was doing and was so so kind the whole time. Fantastic experience: First time here. Today was a consultation for a broken crown. Everyone was very friendly and professional. They got me in quick. All their equipment is modern and patient friendly. So far it’s going great. I have my next appointment set up and I hope our relationship continues to be a great one. I also like that they have late afternoon appointments and weekends (get in early because weekends get booked months in advance!)

Fantastic experience: I had 20 teeth removed all on the sa.e day. MY Dentist was Dr. SUNG , and Dr Nguyen was my anesthesiologist and the Hygienist not sure of her name. But was Amazing All 3cof them on 06-12-2025. This whole process started a year ago and they have helped with this process from beginning to now to help make this possible and the Manger and staff. I'm recovering and so far no pain. Just trying to adjust the the replacements and how to swallow. 1st day in . But I want you all to know this : The office is very clean and state of the art equipment and affordable. I appreciate their Icare and help. Thank you all!!!

Negative experience: I visited this dentist office because it was conveniently located nearby, but unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I called ahead to schedule an appointment for a chipped filling, and they informed me that I would first need to undergo an exam, which would cost $125 out-of-pocket. They insisted they couldn’t rely on the patient’s description and needed to do their own assessment. During the visit, they used a lot of high-tech equipment, only to confirm exactly what I had initially told them. I later found out they were out of network with my insurance, and I was unexpectedly billed $300 for the filling. The communication was poor throughout the process, and I felt misled and overcharged. I left feeling frustrated and will not be returning. I do not recommend this dental office to others in the area.

Fantastic experience: I found grand mission dennis street.After completing a google search based on my zip code, assuming that I needed veneers to fix my smile. After my free consultation with Dr. Sung, turns out I didn't need veneers. He and his staff were truthful and honest. They didn't try to sell me a service that I didn't need to achieve the smile I desired. Nor did they try to offer me services or make recommendations on other services that could be performed.They stayed focused on the concern that brought me to their office. Dr. V Nguyen performed my service. She and her assistant were wonderful. I have never had such a peaceful experience. The way she administered the anesthesia.I couldn't even tell she was giving me a needle. After my procedure I had a insecure moment. She was VERY reassuring and I LOVE MY SMILE

Fantastic experience: March 2025 Update: It has been over 7 years since I first came to Grand Mission Dentistry, and even after moving to the opposite side of Houston I've kept coming here for my dental care because it is 100% worth the drive. Everyone is friendly, kind, considerate, and professional. Even though I'm usually only here twice a year, they remember my name and what we've talked about in the past; I am very much a person, not just another customer. The dental care is always thorough and careful, and they make a point of explaining what they are doing and why. When there's a problem, they take the time to make sure I understand what's wrong, what can be done, and what I can do to keep it from happening again. They pay attention to my comfort and make sure I'm not in pain during procedures, especially since I have low pain tolerance. They are always willing to advise on how to improve my dental hygiene so I can avoid further cavities; I never feel judged for not having perfect teeth, just encouraged and supported. On top of providing top-tier dental care, they understand that not everyone has much money to spare. They always explain why they are recommending a procedure or particular toothpaste; they don't just give orders without explanation or consideration for the expense. They've worked with me to keep my teeth as healthy as possible within my budget constraints and have payment plan options to make dental care possible instead of impossible, even when insurance isn't there for me. I can trust that any time they ask me to spend money on something it's because they care about my health and not because they just want to make more money. Life's trials made me go from perfect teeth to a ton of cavities, and everyone at Grand Mission Dentistry, from the front desk to the hygienists to the dentists themselves, have supported me in slowly but surely having healthy teeth again. I have driven over an hour to reach their office each time I visited the past few years, and it's been worth it every time. I recommend them even when friends and family live on the other side of town; they're just that good. It's only now that I am moving completely out of state that I am bidding farewell to Grand Mission Dentistry, and I will miss it and its staff terribly. I wish I could put the clinic in my pocket and take it with me. If I weren't moving so many states away I genuinely would have considered trying to keep coming here. I can only hope there is a dentist's office as good as this one where I am going. Even with my departure on the horizon, everyone at Grand Mission Dentistry has done nothing but wish me the best and made it possible for me to take my treatment plan with me. Next time I'm in Houston again I'm absolutely going to stop by for a cleaning. Original review: Everyone is super nice and welcoming. Willing to explain what's going on with your teeth and gums and what you can do about it. They do payment plans so you can fix your cavities on a budget! Definitely recommending! (Also you can watch Netflix while they clean your teeth. Cool, huh?) January 2021 addition: I have moved further into Houston, but I still drive out here for dental care because why give up a dentist I already know I can trust? They do solid dental work, find ways to make it financially possible for me, and are honestly friendly. If they recommend I purchase something, I can trust that it's out of concern for my well-being and not to make more money. A+ would recommend, will visit again in 6 months!

Negative experience: All the prior authorizations were approved however they wanted me to pay over $3000 upfront and when the insurance pay them they would reimburse me. Why would I give you that money upfront when you already have prior authorizations for double that, then as an incentive for paying the money upfront they would complete all the work for that upfront price. I spent 3 months waiting on prior authorizations approval so you can try to get upfront money. In addition those prior authorizations are wasted because it’s the end of the year. This was a complete waste of time. I will be making a formal complaint with the agency that oversees dental offices/services.

Negative experience: Avoid this place!!! Have you ever question why this place was 5starts rated with more than 1k reviews while it is a new place. I guess they paid for it. Waste of my time to come there. I have several concern as consultation, filling, checkup, cleaning, … but when I came there I could only do single service. Like one appointment for diagnosis exam, comeback for another appointment for treatment. It is so inconvenient! More than that, they said they saw my insurance benefit but can not pull from insurance, don’t know exactly how much for copay…, I have to pay at the end service then maybe reimburse later. How much should I be charged and what it is going during the service. Can’t imagine.

Fantastic experience: This is the best dental place I’ve been to since o moved to Texas. Their customer service is superb, so kind, friendly, and welcoming. The dental tech Karen was amazing with both my son and I. She was so patient with my son despite his noncompliance . Dr. Sung and amazing provider, he’s patient, very professional and answers all questions vividly with no rush like others would. Can’t forget about Lexi who helped with my X-rays. She was very pleasant and professional as well. To top it all very clean and sparkly environment . And the fact that they do dual insurance too was a go getter for me. I would recommend anyone to book an appointment the soonest.

Fantastic experience: This was probably the best dentist visit I ever had. The Doctors were so accommodating and attentive. Very refreshing. Dr. Van, Dr. Sung, Nurse Michelle, and Nurse Diane were simply rockstars of dentistry during my visit. Considering my blood pressure was an issue, they made sure my health was addressed while still attending to my dental pain. I am truly excited about Doctors who love their profession and also care for their patients. This is that one in as million example. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this dentistry! I’ve been looking for a new one ever since my old dentist sold his practice. All the staff and Dr. Sung were extremely inviting and patient as soon as I walked in. I had to have an extraction done and was nervous about the anesthesia part as I have had a bad reaction to it in the past but Dr. Sung took the time to really listen my concerns and was super patient and helpful on giving me all the details. He is now my new family dentist!

Fantastic experience: Very caring individuals! Dr.sung did my extractions for my wisdom teeth and it was painless ! Karen did my cleaning for the next appointment and she was very informative and gave great tips to better the health of my teeth! I am on the dental plan and Kebra really helped when I was financially unstable and Diana was amazing at the end of my appointment . Definitely will be the dentist I go to for the rest of my life. I highly recommend for those with bad experiences at a dentist as well, they will change your whole perspective! Lexi was great as well so friendly and helpful!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience. Everyone was very hospitable. I have really bad anxiety so I was extremely scared of getting my wisdom teeth pulled. Diana and Michelle were super nice and made me feel more comfortable. Even offered to hold my hand during the procedure lol. Dr. Sung and Vanessa made sure I was comfortable the whole time during the procedure. They answered any questions I had. They were all great.
