Fantastic experience: Dr Kori & Jafna were amazing, made me feel safe and walk me through step by step on exam and were gentle and were always checking up on me if I was ok. Excellent service and took really good care of me

Fantastic experience: Sunbright Dental is amazing to go to, even if you have anxiety. I have a horrible phobia of dentists and needles and i got three fillings with dr james and ms theysha, they both treated me so well and dr james was so super nice to me!!! I started crying and panicking when i was told i needed the fillings, but he got me through it and i was okay in the end! If you have anxiety like i do, they accomadate you so well. I felt so seen and cared for. (Sorry im not smiling!! My mouth is numb!! )

Negative experience: This place is horrible, first of all, the place is dirty, and they provide you bad water if you need water, they don't have bottle of water like other dentist. and they don't really care about your insurance they don't even want to bother checking to see what you are cover under with. they want you to pay out of pocket. and they act like they are the best dentist. There should be a lawsuit against this company

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kori and dental hygienist Kathy were both wonderful — professional, kind, and genuinely attentive throughout my visit. Kathy was especially gentle during the cleaning, and both she and Dr. Kori took their time to clearly explain the condition of my teeth, areas for improvement, and the treatment plan moving forward, all without making me feel rushed. From the ladies at the front desk to those caring for our teeth, everyone was consistently professional. I left feeling cared for and at ease.

Fantastic experience: Great office, they took me in right away. We did a big procedure and I felt no pain and I was comfortable. This office provides same day treatment which is amazing because many offices do not do this. They provided financing and broke the process into steps so we can complete the process at a later time.

Fantastic experience: After going to 5 dental spots, sunbrite was my last stop and got to help me quicker . Although sunbrite was closer to my house I passed it up going 5 other spots across town ! When I finally gave up on my way home I seen sunbrite and decided to try one last time ! They helped me out and got me out of there quicker than I was in !

Fantastic experience: So let's start off by saying I wasn't thrilled about making an appointment. I went online and the first place I called didn't have anything available until August so I continued my search and reached out to Sunbrite dental. They were able to book me in literally an hour after I called. The staff made me feel comfortable right away. I had X-rays done and was told I needed a deep cleaning which was scheduled the next day. I can't say enough how important that was to me since my days off are pretty unpredictable and I'm off for the next two weeks.I would recommend this place to anyone. Everyone there is amazing!!

Fantastic experience: Found this dentist through a family member, i had extreme infection and inflammation, i was in so much pain . They helped so much gave me medication to get the swelling down and also took my wisdom teeth out. The staff is very genuine and so kind. Very gentle also. I get nervous when it comes to my teeth but they are very gentle and make sure you’re not in any pain at any time. So glad I came here and I 100% recommend to anyone that is having the same issues or looking for a new dentist that will get the job done fast.

Fantastic experience: After years of not being able to truly call one place home, I finally settled down in Las Vegas. I hadn't gone to the dentist regularly in awhile, so I was nervous going to one since it has been awhile. However after seeing so many positive reviews, I went to Sunbrite since it was closeby. As I was scheduling my appointment via email, I could tell that the staff were friendly. I filled out the paperwork and was assisted by Celina who was so positive and immediately made me feel comfortable. I got their new patient consultation and x-ray special where I met with Dr. Mina. She was so, so kind putting me at ease immediately. She explained the condition of my teeth in layman terms to help me understand everything better and how bacteria forms around your teeth. I had my cleaning and filling done by Kathy who was so sweet. We had a great conversation between the cleaning and she prepared a couple of goodies for me to take home after she noticed that I was having an allergic reaction to something in my dental routine. It was very evident that she really cared about my condition beyond just the cleaning and lasering. I had my filling done by Dr. James who was also just very nice. He was constantly checking to see if I was alright or feeling any sort of pain (which I wasn't). I noticed all around that the staff care a lot about you beyond just the procedure you're there for. They're constantly asking if you need anything from water to coffee and reapplying vaseline to make sure that you aren't chapped throughout the visit. I had two other staff members help me out, but I'm not the best at remembering names. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the results and my overall experience at Sunbrite. I'm looking forward to my next appointment in six months. Thank you so much!

Negative experience: I had a consult at this place. They gave me an estimate of $37,000 and said at 62 yrs old “my bite was off” and needed 5 pages of work. The only experience I had was the initial exam, which was very pressured once I got to the office of the Doctors wife/saleperson. shortly after, I attempted to schedule an appointment to begin with an upper, back right molar, and they said they needed me to pay up front, and attached the $37,000 quote?‍♀️why would I commit to a long term plan when I have zero knowledge of any procedural experience? They completely ghosted me after several attempts to find out how much for the 1 tooth, and I was willing to pre-pay (insurance and self-pay combined). they promote fear and bullying and only seem to want the “big ticket” cases. I emailed Mildred again, stating that “I have never been treated so poorly “. No response.

I used to be scared of the dentist and after 5 years I am not scared anymore and I thank them. They remember how you are and that is nice feeling. And even though we live far, I still come here. Today is May 19th 2025. I need to say that Sunbrite Dental continues to provide an excellent service to their customer. My wife and I could just find a dentist in Henderson closer to us, but we choose to travel to Sunbrite Dental for the care of our teeth. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming, and the entire practice runs like a well-oiled machine. Dr. Abalos took the time to explain my oral health in a way that finally made sense—comparing decay to a rotting apple. It really stuck with me and helped me understand exactly what needed to be done and why. I felt informed, not overwhelmed. Dr. James handled my fillings, a crown, and a cleaning, and his top priority was my comfort. I never felt a bit of pain or anxiety during any procedure. Alyssa, the dental assistant, was kind, professional, and a perfect complement to the team—they work seamlessly together. On top of the excellent care, Celina in billing was incredibly helpful and friendly. She and Dr. Abalos worked together to secure 0% financing for me, which was a huge relief. With my insurance running out in just two weeks, they made sure everything was scheduled and completed in time. This office restored my confidence in dental care, and I honestly can’t recommend them enough. I cannot thank you all enough!

Fantastic experience: When I came to Sunbrite Dental I was terrified of the dentist and I knew I had a lot of issues to take care of. The staff here is amazing!!! They could see my fear and concerns and went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable, even in an uncomfortable situation. They worked with me to find affordable solutions that fit my budget. Now I am excited for each visit because I can see such a difference in my dental health and I even catch myself smiling more!! Positive experience: Okay, there's some great things about Sunbrite Dental. But there's also some things you should know before going. The good: I love their friendly staff & how Dr. Mina Abalos, the wife and Co owner, explained the dentist language in simple terms and story analogies that actually made sense. That made it so easy to understand what's going on in my mouth. Kathy, the lead dental hygienist, was so kind and helpful. She narrated which tooth she was working on as she went in and around each one during the cleaning. I'm a neurodivergent person who is very sensitive to light, sound & touch... so evrryyything about the dentist is overstimulating torture. The staff here were kind, and allowed me to play my own music, plug into my grounding cord, wear my earplugs, my noise canceling headphones, my black out eye mask, and have my fidget toys during both my appointments. (One for cleaning, one for fillings). Despite all my effort, I still left both times with a migraine and a very sore jaw from holding my mouth open for so long. So, I needed a nap after getting home both times. HEADS UP!!! Sunbrite Dental has a financial policy where you PAY NOW to reserve your appointment in the future. You can pay either full or half price of the dental work... but you MUST pay in advance. I get Dr. Mina Alabos' analogy of it being kind of like reserving a plane ticket... but it doesn't sit right with my heart. It feels manipulative to pay for dental work that hasn't been done yet... but it is a huge benefit to them because if we choose not to show up for our next appointment for whatever reason... they already got your It makes their focus seem like it's on the , NOT on the real person. The other thing that made me uncomfortable was how much Dr. Mina Alabos was REALLY pushing for my non urgent dental work to be done ASAP. The x-rays and photos they took showed tooth decay (cavities, or in her words, "rot") on 4 of my teeth. Dr. Mina made it seem like this work HAD TO be done NOW. Have you heard of the fish story? You give a person a fish, and you feed them for a day. You TEACH a person a fish, you feed them AND their family for a lifetime. This dentist office has a lot of "fish" to pay for, but offer to teach. I WISH they would TEACH me HOW I can prevent tooth decay at home. Teach what flossing is really like. What brushing technique should look like. How to have healthy gums, etc. But when I asked how I could soften my gums at home, Dr. Mina (the owner) said, "You just have to keep coming back. We'll do it for you." ... I'm allergic to fluoride. So, I asked if they had any other options for the polish at my cleaning appointment. and they didn't. So I got my teeth scraped, but no polish done... and I paid for both. I WISH Sunbrite Dental had Flouride Free options. I'm here writing this review of Sunbrite Dental because I just finished my appointment at a different dental office down the road to get a second Dentist's opinion. This new dentist was completely different. He said my teeth do have cavities, as shown by the xrays and photos. But the cavities AREN'T bad enough to put in fillings right away. They're minor and just on the surface. This different dentist down the road from Subrite recommended that I keep doing my best at home to floss and brush, and keep my teeth in their natural state for as long as possible. Putting in fillings means grinding down the natural tooth to make room for the artificial filling. It weakens the tooth and can cause further damage sooner. He recommended coming back for regular cleanings to check up on the cavities, but we don't need to fill them out anytime soon. What a relief from this other dental office! Compartitavely, I felt like a human being talked to (at the new place) instead of an object to pay them (like at Sunbrite). Sunbite Dental left me feeling like they were being kind to my face, doing ANYTHING they could to get me there & keep me coming back... WHILE ripping money out of me... and making me feel good about it. ‍

Fantastic experience: I get a lot of anxiety about visiting the dentist and especially so knowing I needed to get my wisdom teeth extracted, but Dr James and Sunny as well as the rest of the staff made me feel very at ease through out the whole procedure. The initial anxiousness I felt was honestly the “worst” part of the whole procedure. It was super quick and not at all uncomfortable or painful like I thought it might be. Would definitely recommend this dental office!

Negative experience: Still trying to get a refund from them,did my 1st Temporary bridge and told them I'm using my Medicare to finish my bridge with the Network with Medicare. They kept telling me Medicare don't cover my bridge and kept Insisting that I have to finish with them since i got my loan Application approves with them. They taking Advantage of us senior citizens. 5000.00 later for a Initial temporary bridge when there's two more Procedures before you get your final grown What? A rip off Putting in my claim with the nevada dental board for my refund

Fantastic experience: This is the best experience I've ever had with a dentist, I have always had fear of walking into a dentist but truthfully, Dr. Mina and Dr. James made this visit and experience warm. Was super quick and painless, the doctor here took very good care of me and checked in with me the whole procedure. The staff is very friendly and overall very helpful and informative. Negative experience: I have not been to Sunbrite Dental in over 11 years or more and a lady keeps calling my phone using your company number trying to get me to be a patient again but it’s always before your office even opens and it seems unprofessional to solicit customers that have not been a patient in several years. She just called me again this morning. Just wanted to let your office know because I been to other dentist before and they never do this. I hung up and called your office and nobody answered so idk if it’s a scam or what but I would prefer to call an office if I want an appointment.

Fantastic experience: I've always had really bad anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, which is why I neglected myself and my teeth by not going to one for the last 15 years. But from the very first time I stepped into Sunbrite dental I've had a great experience! The staff is very welcoming, polite, positive, and Dr James has handled every single appointment with the utmost care and respect, they always call to check in on me and make sure my prescriptions get filled. Fantastic experience: I had a good experience in this place. The front desk staff was professional, friendly and helpful. Dr.James took the time to educate not only about dental care in general, but also showed me what needed to be done and why. This is the first dentist who takes the time to explain all of these. I was nervous when they were working on my teeth but Theysha and Dr.James made me feel comfortable. They were calm , thoughtful and attentive. That helped reduce my nervousness. The hygienist (sadly I forgot her name) was friendly and did a good job. She also explained why she was focusing on cleaning and area that needed more attention and why. I really liked that focus on educating me. I would return to this place if I ever need more work done because of their excellent customer service.

Negative experience: Don't go here if you are nervous , Menopauseal, haven't been to the dentist in while, have high blood pressure. Hiring new inexperienced ppl is not a problem but having the work done twice because they are not sure yet of how to do it accurately is! They should of read the paperwork and paired me with a person that could make me feel comfortable and at ease. I spoke with one of the female dentist surgeon there and the way she spoke to me and rolling her eyes in response to my concerns made me walk out! No TLC in the hood. I will go to Summerlin or Henderson! No thank you Sun Bright. You failed me! All your good reviews are suspect and questionable to me now.

I let them know that I had a fear of the dentist, and Dr. James and Theysha went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable through every step of the procedure! Also they let me keep my teeth!

I was very anxious and nervous but Dr. Kori with the help of her wonderful assistants Liz made my experience the complete opposite of what I expected. Fantastic experience: Great experience last week and today at Sun Brite Dental in Las Vegas! Front staff and dental staff were so nice. Offering water or coffee while waiting short times. Had fillings today and didn’t feel novacaine injection at all!! Completely painless experience. I’d recommend these fine providers to everyone. They are thorough and let you know what they are doing with no surprises!! Can’t say enough about the great people here.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic dentist and staff. Everyone is friendly, they're happy and very patient when explaining the procedures and billing. I have a fear of needles and they are very understanding of my apprehension, constantly checking that I'm OK while numbing my mouth. I swear I never felt the needle. It's nice being recognized when walking into the office!

Each staff member is also highly educated and go in depth when explaining what is needed and ensure that you understand what is needed before proceeding. The doctor is very thorough with keeping me informed, and the work is awesome! I do recommend this place without hesitation... the first time I looked forward to my visits.... I have had my implants for about a year and just love ❤️ them! I recommend them to anyone having a hard time with dentures.

Fantastic experience: Very very nice people! I was nervous going to another dentist out here after the last one that quoted me thousands upon thousands of dollars…. Which this place gave me a very reasonable quote to fix the things wrong with my teeth! I came to them with a tooth that was cracked in half and left with a plan to fix it and got me in the next day to fix my tooth for a reasonable price! As a military dependent it’s hard to find a good dentist office being your moving all the time, but I would definitely recommend. I appreciate you Sunbrite.

Fantastic experience: I am moving my entire family to this dental practice after the fantastic job they did with my 6 year old recently! After seeing pediatric dentist after pediatric dentist and being disappointed, we finally found a dentist that treated us like family; was ACTUALLY good with children, did NOT order extra dental work just to pad the bill, did not push sedation drugs or general anesthesia when we told them we were religiously opposed, actually respected my son and treated him as the actual patient, where all the other dentists would ignore him and not include him in the conversation of discussing his own dental plan. My son was very interested in what was going to happen and wanted to be talked to. You would think these pediatric dentists were good with kids, but after meeting with several of them, you can see their viewpoint about kids are actually a bit insulting. We are so very happy that Dr. Calvo & Dr. Abalos are such wonderful dentists and such wonderful people! My son had to get 2 teeth pulled, 2 root canals & crowns, and multiple cavity fillings. Dr. Calvo walked him through everything he was doing, step by step, which my son loved. He even let my son watch the tooth pull with a mirror when he asked if he could watch :) My son walked away from these 3 visits very happy with his new dentists, very proud of himself for getting through all that dental work, happy about not having pain in any of his teeth anymore, and excited to take care of his teeth going forward to not get anymore dental problems! Thank you to Dr. Abalos Dr. Calvo! You both are AMAZING!!!
