The staff is so attentive, making sure she feels comfortable and cared for at every visit. They explain everything clearly, are gentle, and truly go above and beyond. The service is consistently outstanding. We’re so thankful for the kindness and professionalism we’ve experienced here over the years!

Fantastic experience: Above and beyond. My 7 year old daughter lost an adult tooth by injury, and Dr Zaghi was absolutely amazing with emergency care after hours to help stint the tooth in place. His Assistant was so caring also. I was blown away by the genuine care, empathy, kindness and expertise shown by the dentist and his assistant. It was a nerve wracking emergency to put it mildly, but they made the stressful situation easier to navigate with the level of care, bedside manner and expertise. Truly grateful and there are not enough words to express how amazing Dr Zaghi and his staff have been. To top it off my insurance is out of network and there was no hesitation on his part to offer treatment with transparency of the cost and my other options to go elsewhere. Having worked in healthcare for over 20 years, I have such trust in him and his team and highly recommend him. You will not be disappointed entrusting them with your kids dental care. Outstanding. The dentists and all of the staff are amazing with her, and their appointment times are super convenient with school and work. As a medical practice manager myself, I am so impressed with our experience from beginning to end each visit and by phone. I highly recommend! Zero wait time and Dr Zheng was excellent, gentle and knowledgeable. My 3 year old loved the bag of goodies she received after her dental check and fluoride treatment. The TVs on the ceiling are a nice touch. Beautiful decor in the office and pleasant staff.

Fantastic experience: I took my grandson, who is Autistic, to the dentist and he saw Dr. Blumenfeld. She is absolutely amazing, kind, patient and very knowledgeable. She took amazing care of my grandson's needs. I couldn't be happier with another dentist. I wouldn't change from Dr. Blumenfeld being my grandchildren dentist for anything in the world. Fantastic experience: I switched to this office from another dentist. I have been overjoyed with the experience. They see five of my children and make it super convenient for me to bring them at the same time. They respect your time and don’t try to make you get services you don’t need. The pops of color relaxes my children for their visit. The staff is the best. Very caring and patient. The TV’s on the ceiling is genius and gives the children something else to focus on. Fantastic experience: We absolutely love Columbia Pediatric Dentistry! This office is truly every child’s dream of what a dentist visit should be. Dr. Julie and the entire team are incredibly positive, warm, and welcoming—our kids actually look forward to their appointments! The office is vibrant and colorful, with TVs playing all the favorite children’s shows. They go above and beyond with gift bags, stickers, and bonus tokens for the prize machines—all for good behavior. It's such a fun and supportive environment. Honestly, I wish I had a place like this when I was a kid. We highly recommend Columbia Pediatric Dentistry. It’s a solid 10/10, and we gladly make the 30–45 minute commute because it’s just that worth it.

Fantastic experience: The receptionist team fit us in. The office is so nicely decorated. Each doctor we’ve seen has been great and the hygienists have been wonderful with my kids ranging from age 2-5. They do so good keeping the kids engaged and making them feel at ease! The drive to this office is a little far but totally worth it!!

Fantastic experience: We have had a great experience with our Five year old so far. Doctors and Staff are very kind and knowledgeable. They are patient and truly care. We were given very reasonable treatment options. Really appreciate that the providers meet the kids where they are at and work with them for the best outcome. Thank you very much for all your help.

Fantastic experience: All the assistants were efficient and pleasant and observant of all the COVID guidelines. The higienest saw both my boys consecutively in the same big airy room and they were well entertained by a current cartoon movie during the cleaning and exam which took their minds off the occasionally painful cleaning (only because that kid doesn't brush well!). X-rays were done in another room for safety and Dr Zaghi did a thorough exam and explained what was needed and not needed. From our short wait at the front door (due to COVID) to exiting the office we had 2 full and thorough appointments taken care of in 45 minutes in a pleasant atmosphere. These are he experts in pediatric dentistry and we trust them with our 6 kids. Update: follow up on a cavity filled, Dr Ezra was super nice and took care of the filling that needed a little more polishing/sanding down. The techs and hygienists are all super nice and great with all the kids. Do check on billing practices though as some of the dentists are not covered by some insurances, some may cost more, and they tend to bill as soon as you walk in the door rather than when you leave- the downside is that they might not actually do all they billed for (they billed for laughing gas the doc decided not to do in the end - after calls and emails they refunded)

Fantastic experience: Busy office but they manage it well. Everyone is very professional and polite. Both of my younger children are seen here. My daughter is always very anxious and nervous when we go. They are very patient with her.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Julie is a celebrity in our house! Have you ever heard of a 6 year old who was jealous of his sister since she needed to go back for an additional appointment for a filling? Yep, true story! And shout out to the awesome hygienist that was so patient and friendly!

Fantastic experience: We had an incredible experience at Columbia Pediatric Dentistry! The office was clean, kid friendly, and everyone was so kind and helpful. Dr. Julie is the BEST! She totally put my kids at ease and they could get pretty anxious about these things. She was so patient, gentle and creative in her ways to get them to cooperate. We live about a 25 minute drive from this office with many closer options, yet we will keep coming back! We had an absolutely miserable experience at a different pediatric dental office and coming to Dr. Julie gave us hope in quality dental care for our kids! My kids want to know when they can go back!

Fantastic experience: It’s hard to imagine your dentist feeling like family but Dr. Lavi treats my family and me so well. The office staff is friendly and accommodating. The office itself is absolutely beautiful and always bright and clean. We love it here, not just for our kids but also for myself. I had a bad experience with getting braces. After seeing how amazing Dr. Lavi was with my daughter, I asked if he’d do my braces. He said yes without hesitation and I couldn’t be happier. I absolutely love Melanie! She worked with me to set a payment plan that I could afford and has been amazing with every interaction. We all look forward to our appointments, especially the kids. If I moved out of the state, I’d find a way to make it to my appointments at Columbia Pediatric Dentistry. We love it here!

Fantastic experience: Lovely practice, the dentist was warm and proactive in answering questions and tending to my concerns, the dental hygienists who cleaned my kids teeth were superb, one of them actually sung to my daughter to calm her down..... its a kid friendly professional team and my kids are already looking forward to their next visit!

Positive experience: Today my wife and newborn took a trip to the dentist for our two older kids (3 and 1 year olds). I had to change the one year old in the parking lot because he had a number 2 in his diaper while the wife went inside to let them know we were coming in. We get in after I'm done and coordinating the kids 14 mins late. Do you know the turn our family away and said only a 10 min grace period. What a disgrace! Not to mention I had to reschedule this appt from yesterday we had a 9 am because we got there on time and it took 30 mins before being called if I stayed and waited I would of missed my meetings at work. So when your early you wait but try to coordinate a family of 3 young kids n get there slightly late no service. Terrible customer service. If I could give negative stars I would. The response of timestamps is BS as my wife went in ahead of me to check in to let them know I'll be right in. Next time I'll let them see the kid with a number 2 in his Pamper I guess and the prior day I would love to see this so call well past the grace period. This just proves this management team is so laughable. Why would I want to talk about it after such weak excuses. The issue is do you know how much work it is to get two kids under 3 and a newborn to an appointment then to be turned away over a couple mins discrepancy. Manager was definitely on a power trip. Just reading this response got me upset. I reviewing everywhere I can. After some talks with the dentist some things have been rectified

Negative experience: My daughter had an appointment yesterday, and we had a horrible time. The doctor assured me that she wouldn't remember it, but she remembers every moment. My daughter told me today, a day after the appointment, that she felt all the pain while they were putting the crown on the tooth, and trying to remember what I saw, the doctor injected the anesthetic but didn't even give her 5 or 10 minutes to wait for the anesthetic to take effect. I have researched and asked different doctors, and this is always the recommendation. This has me upset and confused, because it is a beautiful place full of color... but I felt some negligence. My daughter was traumatized.

Fantastic experience: This was our third visit and, as always, the experience was fantastic. Both the hygienist and dentist are amazing. My 4-year-old starts off nervous but always leaves laughing and excited. I can't say enough great things

Negative experience: Following the advice of child raising books we scheduled a one year old check up appointment. A dentist has advised to hold legs and arms of our kid to brush the teeth. We did as advised. Our child screaming in terror as a stranger singing wheels on the bus was brushing teeth while the tears were rolling down. While the stuff may assure it is normal and industry standard, please don’t fall for it! There is a better way! We had to learn the hard way…years later, as we have paid for it dearly. This little event broke the bond that took years to fix. It’s just the beginning of the story… If they don’t budge, save yourself and your kid and run to someone who is more humane. While every child is different, please be your Child’s best friend and do not Put them through that.

Fantastic experience: Been taking my daughter here since her first dentist appt and she’s 13 now. Highly recommend. They’re good with kids, there are TVs in the ceiling to help distract them, they give little goodie bags and a coin for machines to get a prize. We’re never waiting long and I don’t have any complaints.

Negative experience: I’m extremely disappointed at the lack of service received by their admin staff. They continuously kept calling my daughter a boy when I corrected them several times and wouldn’t offer a grace period with their appts even when we called and let them know the extenuating situation. Not happy with their lack of care.

Fantastic experience: I brought both my kids to the office. They were nervous in the car but when they saw the office and met the staff…. They were genuinely excited! The office is absolutely beautiful and everyone was extraordinarily welcoming. They now want to go back every month! Update: we just finished Orthodontic treatment with Dr. Lavi and words can’t express the wonderful experience we had with him and his staff. The results are nothing short of amazing and the whole experience has been such a blessing for our family!

Fantastic experience: I've been bringing my children to Dr. Zaghi for over 5 yrs ,and I couldn't had chosen a better dentist for them. Dr. Zaghi and his crew are awesome with children ,and making their experience smooth. My children are very comfortable with Dr. Zaghi and his crew, working on them. They make you feel like family there. The office is nice, clean, colorful & kid friendly. They always have the best Disney movies, playing ,while your child is being worked on. Even when they're laying down, there's tvs on the ceiling ,for them to continue watching their favorite movies. And I love how they get tokens at the end of their day, to get prizes out the coin machine. Dr. Zaghi & his crew are the best pediatric dentist in Maryland!

Negative experience: Our third visit to this dentist and each time they are behind schedule. Today we waited over half an hour to be called back to start the cleaning and then an hour and a half for the dentist before we left without seeing them. Our appointment was at 11am and both kids (5yr and 18mo) are hungry and miserable after waiting such a long time. We will be looking for another dentist after this third bad experience. We were told that they were behind schedule but it seems like they continuously schedule too many patients to be seen by the dentists in that time frame.

Positive experience: My son had a very good experience. He was nervous as the tech was cleaning his teeth but she was great at helping him to relax. My only issue is that the doctor came in, looked at the X-rays, put sealants on his teeth and was quickly out. There was no discussion about the X-rays or if my son had any dental problems. I understand there might have been other patients waiting but more patience with clients would be greatly appreciated.

Negative experience: Great care for my children. HOWEVER, they copy and collect your ID. When asked why, they say "because they told us to." I'm also being profiled as I witness others walking in and not surrendering their ID. I stated that I refused and disagreed, which was just shrugged off.

Fantastic experience: The front-desk staff are so great, efficient and friendly. It’s nice though that there are TVs everywhere to keep kids entertained. Clean facilities. Had to wait a while for dentist who was finishing emergency visit, but it’s nice to know when you need it, they will see you in those cases

Everything went so smooth. First of all, the office is beautiful and everyone at the practice is beyond nice. The efficiency of how this practice is run remains amazing. Fantastic experience: Columbia Pediatric Dentistry is great! When my son first came as a 3-year-old he was scared and crying. Everyone there took it in stride and was so gentle with him. Thankfully he doesn't cry anymore as a 6-year-old (in fact seems completely relaxed), but all of the staff is just as kind. I don't think we've ever encountered an unfriendly staff member there. The office is clean, bright and well decorated. There are TVs all around for distraction. My son always enjoys his goodie bag and loves the toy dispensers. An update: now as an 8-year old he had to have 2 baby teeth pulled due to how they were affecting the permanent teeth that were growing in. Dr Blumenfeld and her assistant did a great job and were so patient as he struggled with the anxiety over the procedure. Still definitely recommend!

Negative experience: After looking at the reviews I decided to bring my two kids in for a x ray and cleaning. Both the kids were cleaned in 5 minutes and were not cleaned properly. I would recommend coming to this place. We are going back to our previous dentist who would clean properly.

Positive experience: I rate a 4 because the overall staff is excellent and Dr. Zaghi is very approachable and has created a comfortable space for kids. The staff is very quick, and considers the anxiety some children may encounter. However, my daughter raised some concerns after her braces tightening with the orthodontist. We felt the initial consultation was amazing because he understood what she wanted and did not really project too much of his opinion about her choice to get braces instead of invisalign. He kept his opinions polite and gave her an educational standpoint. He was fun, open, and had a great personality. They installed the braces the same day. Well, when she went back she felt he was rough, and did not speak to her nor give off the comfortable impression as the consultation visit, and she expressed she believed he was upset about her decision for braces and is now showing it because he has received his payment. I hope this isn't the case. Impression and personality means a lot to kids/teens, and 2 years is a long time to go without feeling comfortable during her braces treatment.

Fantastic experience: My girls always have fun coming to have their teeth checked. You guys are doing a great job from the front desk to the nurses and especially the Dr. we appreciate your good work and patience with the kids always. And of course the coins they loved it.

Fantastic experience: Of (4) children my eldest is 29 my youngest is 16, we have been with Dr. Zaghi since my eldest was 2 yrs old. Dr Zaghi and his staff has always been very kid friendly very welcoming and kind. As far as pediatric dentistry I think they are the best in Howard County(Columbia) I’m glad we’ve come to know of this place and Dr. Zaghi my grandchildren are also now patients.

Fantastic experience: My son's 1st visit was a hit! The waiting area is perfect for children, tablets to play videos, books and tv with kid friendly movies. The staff were friendly and the dentist made it fun & easy for my 20 month old son to sit still during his visit. The office was very clean & modern looking. **Update 2023** We continue to go to Columbia Pediatric Dentistry because my kids actually enjoy going to the dentist! Their front staff are very nice. However, their hygienist (older causasian lady) is WONDERFUL!! She's very friendly, professional, and makes checking/cleaning teeth seem easy and fun! The young woman (colorful hair) who does the X-ray is also super sweet and professional. The dentist himself is funny, easy going, and finishes his part of the appointment quickly. We love his Tooth Fairy sneakers, lol. The entire office staff manage to make going to the Dentist a fun time for my six and four year olds!

Fantastic experience: The office staff is so friendly. It is my son’s birthday soon and they gave him the VIP treatment with a balloon and stickers. They made sure he was comfortable and he was so happy after his visit. He loves going to Columbia Pediatric dentistry!

Fantastic experience: My family has been coming here for over 12 years. All 5 of my children are seen here and absolutely love it. We have never had an issue and they worked so well with my son who had bad anxiety about getting dental work done. Best pediatric dentists ever!

Fantastic experience: My daughter freedom had a couple cavities, and I was worried cause they had to give her laughing gas while feeling the cavities . I never met these dentist before , my wife has always went . When I came and I met Dr. Julie Gloria the (dreamteam). They was so patient and playful with my child , it put me at ease .They treated my child like she was there only patience , which made me so happy . I had anxiety the night before , but they treated my daughter like one of there own .

Fantastic experience: Every time we have been to the dental office we have received exceptional care. In fact, we continue to visit this office even though it is an hour away because we don’t believe we could get the same quality of care elsewhere. Everyone is friendly and the whole office team works very well to get patients in and out quickly. (I always visit with my three kids at the same time and am out within an hour.) Our kids leave with smiles every time and no one has ever been afraid of a dentist chair or cleaning! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Columbia Pediatric Dentistry is great! This was my daughter’s first dentist appointment and they made her feel welcomed. The waiting and patient rooms were very engaging for children. The dental hygienist and dentist were very sweet to our baby girl and have use helpful instructions to continue to care for her teeth. She was so excited to tell all her friends at preschool about her experience.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service. My kids loves them. The office is immaculate and everything there looks great. They are friendly and the doctor takes his time to explain in detail. Highly, highly recommended

Negative experience: We arrived at our appointment and they asked if it was ok that we were seeing another doctor that day. While the other doctor is great, we would have appreciated knowing in advance that our doctor wasn’t there before arriving, to have the option to reschedule for continuity of care. They knew in advance he wouldn’t be there but the office manager said she thought we would be fine with it. We came with a list of questions for our usual doctor, following up on our last visit and didn’t feel like we could do that as well with a new doctor. We had already taken off work and gotten out of school early so rescheduling at the desk after making the trip to the office felt like too much of a life hassle.

Fantastic experience: Our experience here has been amazing for years. We started with our oldest daughter and now that we have a toddler, it is wonderful to be able to take care of two dentist appointments at the same time in the same room! The doctors were so patient with my little one and the eight year old loves to speak with all of the friendly dentists and dental hygienists. 10/10 every time!

Fantastic experience: My children have been patients of Dr. Zaghi for the past 11 years and I love the service and new location. Everyone is very friendly and even though we have now moved and have added an extra half hour to our commute, we will keep coming to Columbia Pediatric Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: This place is just as good on the inside as it looks on the outside! Such a nice, clean, & fun environment (even though it’s a dentist office) Lol! My babies and I felt super comfortable! The staff was nice, welcoming, & very accommodating! I accidentally wrote the wrong time on my calendar & showed up after my appointment time & they found a way to make it work for all 3 of my babies, they also extended grace to us for the lateness! The 3 dental hygienists who treated my children simultaneously (in the same room in front of me) were so kind, patient, and informative! Our new Dentist Dr. Julie was very warm & informative as well! I almost never leave reviews but they deserve it!!

Positive experience: 3 stars because the kids like it. The doctor, I don’t remember her name I think it begins with an M, has this mean look on her face and a “matter of fact” tone in her voice. The combination of the two makes the appointment uncomfortable. The nurses (we had two) were WONDERFUL! Friendly, kind, a good sense of humor and it felt like they enjoyed talking to us. The woman that rebooked our appointments was grumpy, not a single smile nor friendly small talk. I felt like I was bothering her. BUT, the kids like the office. It’s colorful, TV’s on the ceiling and a prize wall that is literally a wall with old gum ball machines fill with little toys. That’s cool. We saw Dr. Goodman years ago when he had the old office and he’s a nice guy. I’m glad he has a successful practice.
