Fantastic experience: New addition rooms are great.. the receptionist, hygienist , and Dr Edens were very kind and helpful as I had to go in my motorized wheelchair.great dental practice all the way around.

Fantastic experience: I had an evaluation on dealing with a newly developed issue with my lower dentures. I was referred to a periodontist to help resolve the issue. Within one day, a plan was set up. As always, competent, efficient, and friendly from Dr. Jones and the staff.

Negative experience: Would have given 5 stars but I recently called to reschedule an appointment and was told that they no longer are allowed to see me because they sent me to collections..I don't see how I've always paid for evertime I'd go in..claimed they sent out statements and called me but I never got anything regarding outstanding balances

Fantastic experience: From the time I called for a last minute appointment, to the time I checked out, the staff treated me with respect and care. The dentist assistant was extremely knowledgeable and made me a temporary crown that finally stayed on for more than 12 hours. She was very confident in her skills and what she could do for me. She let me know what she was doing at ALL times. After I left the office, I called my sister and a friend and told them about my experience. I said if to them both, if my family did not have a family dentist already, Garden Springs Dental (GSD) would be our family dentist. There is so much more I could say, but I don't want to write a book on this review. I highly recommend GSD for your dental needs.

Positive experience: I really wish I could give more stars because I love Dr. Davis, but I've had to come back multiple times for them to get the right fit on my bite guard. And then again on my retainer after I had a filling done and it didn't fit right around it. Kate is great and helpful, but I've been a little disappointed with having to go out of my way to come in for someone to fix the mistakes that Garden Springs makes.

I hadn’t been to the dentist in a while so started looking for a local one with good reviews and landed on Garden Springs Dental. I couldn’t be happier with my choice. I dreaded this appointment for no reason, they took their time, were very kind and gentle and helped me get set up for future oral health success. Seriously thank you I feel completely different about going to the dentist after today’s visit. 10 stars!

Fantastic experience: Best dental hygienist ever. Flossed between my tight teeth gentler but better than I can.

Negative experience: I had my first appointment today (Friday) was seated and immediately took X-rays by an assistant and a few minutes later a Dr. came in and started my "cleaning." I haven't had a cleaning in years and he barely did anything. My gums were not checked and he didn't even floss my teeth!!! I assumed that would be a standard of care, especially since I told him I had areas I cannot get floss threaders through. I was scheduled for my next cleaning 8 months out without a mention of coming back in to evaluate gums. Not a place I would recommend if you are looking for a thorough job. ☹️

Positive experience: My cleaning went well. Jackie was really nice and did a great job. I greatly dislike signing something that says I will have to pay $50 if I do not cancel an appointment within 24 hours. I never miss an appointment and I am always on time but emergencies happen. If my car breaks down or an emergency does happen, the idea of being out $50 is scary to me. If a person is missing and causing issues it should be taken up with them, not people that don’t miss or cancel. It is making me seriously consider going somewhere else for dental services.

Positive experience: I had an emergency of a broken tooth. Was able to be seen quickly. The care was very professional and excellent be installing a temporary crown to be replaced by a permanent one within 2 weeks. Excellent and professional care.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to staff for working in a new patient quickly for semi-emergency visit. I had a broken tooth that lost it's filling and broke off the back half of the tooth. I developed an infection underneath it quickly. Dr. Jones took care of me quickly, and the support staff are pleasant and efficient. I will be going back to them for my future dental needs.

Fantastic experience: Had a cleaning appointment and the hygienist was ill. The dentists pitched in and were taking turns cleaning their patients teeth. That's teamwork at its finest. You are part of a family and you get quality treatment with Garden Springs Dental.

Negative experience: We went to this practice for 10 years, and we thought we were satisfied. At some point, they sold to a corporation and we steadily saw their lack of attention. We visited another dentist, and they noticed our treatment was not adequate. The new practice also found cavities. We confirmed with another practice and immediately moved. That day, Garden Springs lost 6 customers. We called them and they never really followed up. For that reason, I suggest you check service you are being provided.

Negative experience: You have to confirm your appointment 24 hours ahead of time otherwise they will cancel. No problem - they called me a few days prior, I answered, said I'd be there. I received a text the day before my appointment, said yes, I'd be there. 44 minutes before my appointment, I get a call saying they need to reschedule me. I think they overbook themselves so they never have empty seats. Dr. Davis did fix my root canal though, so he's a legend for that. But 1 star because I am on my way to my appointment and they cancel it despite me confirming it multiple times. (This happens every time)

The very best hygienist I've ever encountered and once again. The handling of things so professionally and so quickly. With no pain. Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency - and not a current dentist. I was aware of Garden Springs Dental and good reviews but had not become a patient. Their website assured me: "At Garden Springs Dental, we know that an unexpected dental problem can turn your life upside down. We are here for our patients all the time, including after hours.". True to their word I called and was treated like an old friend. Very comfortable with Dr. Davis and support staff. Called in the afternoon, booked the same afternoon. Everything explained as I was screened and it was decided to work on the first phase that day--immediately putting me at comfort. Basically a two step appointment and a late night (5-7) for the doctor, assistant and front desk staff. Never made to feel they were anything but happy to be there for me. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone including my extended family. Definitely a five star - plus - practice! J.J.

Fantastic experience: I was extremely impressed with their work today! I broke a tooth last night, and within 24 hours they were able to get me in, clean it out, and put a filling in. Their attention to detail was the most impressive part, as they checked my bite a few times and shaped the filling perfectly. The staff were personable, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. I will be coming back and I am proud to call this my home dentistry in Lexington!

Fantastic experience: I have been treated by both Dr. Davis and Dr. Edens and they are both phenomenal! Recently I was seen by Dr. Davis and needed 2 fillings replaced. I was having trouble with them for weeks after and Dr. Davis took every step possible to prevent me from having to have a root canal. I am so very grateful that he took the time to try to fix my issues using the least invasive (and costly) methods. I will recommend Garden Springs every time.

Fantastic experience: Professional yet personal. My hygienist Carrie always makes me feel comfortable and does an excellent job when I’m there and Dr Edens always takes time to answer my questions and checks very thoroughly everything they are concerned about. I’ve been their patient over 15 years

Negative experience: I took off work today after waiting a month for an appt to have my teeth cleaned. I tell the hygienist I do not want X-rays as I am pregnant and was not there with any concerns about my teeth; I simply wanted them cleaned and had been to a dentist within the past year. She tells me it’s fine, that I just need to sign some forms. I say okay. She then comes back to tell me the dentist says it’s policy we have X-rays for her to clean my teeth and for me to be seen today regardless of my personal preferences. Very unprofessional. I missed out on a 1/2 day of work for nothing. The dentist should be the one to communicate “policy” against the patient wishes to the patient, not a hygienist who is obviously uncomfortable staring with her back to me facing her computer screen the whole time. What if I did not have insurance and could not afford X-rays? According to policy, I would be turned away. Waste of time. Do not recommend.

Positive experience: Overall it was an ok visit. The hygienist did not introduce herself and was very matter of fact during the cleaning. She was friendly upon leaving. My reason for only 4 stars is the length of time between visits. Normally, you schedule every 6 months. The first available was nearly 8 months. When I mentioned this, I was told that they keep accepting new patients. This is fine except for the fact that you are making your long term patients wait even longer now. I’ve been a patient since 2011. Also, I am not a fan of threatening to have my appointment cancelled if I do not confirm (Y) or being charged if I don’t cancel within 24 hrs.

Fantastic experience: Mana and Dr. Davis are the best! As someone who has always been scared of the dentist Mana made sure to make me feel comfortable in everything that she was doing as well as thoroughly explaining what she was she doing before she did it.

Fantastic experience: I was impressed during my recent visits to Garden Springs Dental. I was greeted warmly by all the staff I encountered. I was also pleased with the punctuality—I didn’t have to wait long at all. The treatment plan was explained as well as the cost. Dr. Edens and the hygienists explained all the procedures clearly and I felt at ease during the treatment. I highly recommend this office.

I called on a Monday and had an appointment on Tuesday. Dr. Davis was very accommodating, did a root canal on the first visit so my pain would be relieved. WOW! Positive experience: It’s with heavy heart that I’m moved to share my most recent experience at Garden Springs Dental from this morning. I made an appointment for a standard dental cleaning. I showed up early and the cleaning was quick & easy. It lasted about 20 minutes - same as my last visit. I got a good report. Same as my last visit. The hygienist could not have been more professional. I’ve been seeing Dr. Eden’s since his practice was on Alexandria Drive. He is the best dentist in Lexington. No question of that. And those are the reasons this is not a zero star review. When I got to the counter to check out the receptionist told me it would be $85. I reminded her that my insurance provides two free cleanings a year. That’s what I scheduled the appointment for. That’s the service I received. She said that since I had periodontal disease in the past that I would always have to pay. Even if it’s a standard cleaning. I told her that sounded a lot like extortion. She had no empathy, no desire to help me understand anything. She went on to say that if I ever did choose to do the standard free cleaning that my insurance provides that Dr. Eden’s would no longer see me and I could not come back to the clinic. I had to get to work. I paid. This person does not need to have contact with patients - or anyone else. I’ve since learned that dental offices often do this to churn more money from insurance companies. I’ve been going here for over 20 years. We all deserve better service. We deserve transparency. So my only recourse is to share my experience here. It seems that if you book a straight cleaning they can bill you for whatever they want to. That happened to me at Aspen Dental 20 years ago and that’s why I started going to Garden Springs Dental. My heart is broken for what this dental office has become. They count on us remaining silent and taking it. Not today.
