Fantastic experience: After 30 years of front tooth stains, I finally took the leap and got a few veneers- and Lakebrink Mitts Dental absolutely nailed it! Dr. Mitts is basically a smile wizard. The veneers look incredibly natural, and I’ve already had tons of compliments. One person legit thought I just suddenly had perfect teeth overnight- which, honestly, I kind of did. The entire process only took a couple hours and only one visit! Their whole team was amazing- friendly, reassuring, helpful, and lightning-fast with responses and scheduling. From the front desk to the dental chair, I felt totally taken care of. Zero complaints. Honestly, if every medical office ran like Lakebrink Mitts Dental, I’d probably start scheduling annual physicals for fun. Can I get my teeth cleaned and a life coach session while I’m here? Because their staff was that down-to-earth, helpful, and just plain awesome. 10/10, would trust them with my smile and probably my taxes.

Fantastic experience: Very welcoming staff and I really really like my new dentist (Dr Mitts). I have used the same dentist since 1983. Unfortunately he passed away a couple of years ago and I've struggled looking for a new dentist. I've tried a couple of different places and decided to keep looking. After this morning's visit at Brinkmeyer-Mitts Dental, I've found my new dentist.

Fantastic experience: Had extreme tooth pain over the weekend. Lakebrink-Mitts staff emailed me back over the weekend to lock in a first thing Monday morning appointment.

Fantastic experience: this is a beautiful modern dental practice with highly professional staff from the front desk to the my hygienist to the dentist. Everyone was very nice and Dr Lakebrink listened to and addressed my concerns. This was my first visit and I am so thankful that a friend recommended this dental group me.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit. I was called in advance and explained the cost and what was to be done that day. Keely, the Hygienist, went over everything again after I arrived and Dr Mitt was finished up the visit after reviewing the X-rays and looking at my teeth what needed to be done. Great personalities and an overall good experience.

Negative experience: To start, I have never had to write a review like this. I was really looking forward to trying this office after hearing a couple of positive recommendations from coworkers—but unfortunately, my experience was overwhelmingly disappointing. To start on a positive note, my dental hygienist, Keely, was absolutely wonderful—personable, professional, and made me feel comfortable right away. She was the one bright spot in my visit. For context, I had recently changed insurance and hadn’t had a cleaning in about a year. My previous dentist had been monitoring a small spot of decay, but I wasn’t having any pain or issues—this was just a routine visit. After my cleaning, Keely reassured me that my teeth didn’t look too bad and went to get the dentist. The dentist, Dr. Ise D’Angelo, entered the room without greeting me, chatted with the hygienist about unrelated topics, then reclined the chair and did a quick exam that lasted less than a minute. She stated I needed to return for treatment on eight separate areas of “breakdown” between my teeth, split into two appointments. I was caught off guard, but I trusted her assessment at the time and scheduled the first visit. At the treatment appointment, a dental assistant (who never introduced herself) numbed my gums with topical medication. Dr. D’Angelo entered the room without acknowledging me, singing along to the music overhead. She administered a large amount of anesthetic, resulting in facial numbness and drooping that lasted over 9 hours—even affecting my eyelid. Throughout the procedure, she barely communicated with me, focusing more on the music and her conversation with the assistant. She didn’t ask how I was doing or offer reassurance, even when I was visibly uncomfortable. The next day, one of my back teeth was extremely sensitive to warmth and pressure—something I’d never experienced before. I tried Sensodyne because the dentist did warn me I may be sensitive for a few days but after two weeks with no improvement, I called the office and they got me in quickly. This time a completely different assistant (who again, never introduced herself!) examined the tooth, then proceeded to drill and adjust it without clearly explaining what she was doing. She took an X-ray then left to take it to a doctor and told me the doctor had reviewed it and said everything “looked good.” Still in discomfort, I agreed to further smoothing, which caused bleeding after she hit my gums. I was told to give it a few days for the inflammation to calm down and see how it feels. I NEVER SAW A DENTIST THIS VISIT. At this point, I made the decision to cancel the next appointment and told the front desk I would not be continuing treatment until this tooth was resolved. The receptionist tried to reschedule, but I insisted on canceling. This experience was extremely frustrating. Dental care should be professional, transparent, and patient-centered. What I received felt rushed, impersonal, and at times careless. I left with new dental pain I didn’t have before, and now I’ll need to seek out a different provider to address it—and pay out of pocket to fix it. I cannot recommend this office based on my experience. While I’m grateful for Keely’s kindness and professionalism, the rest of my visit was completely unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: Haven’t been to the dentist in years, this was an A+ experience! My teeth felt very clean and taken care of. I was immediately impressed by the quality and look of the waiting area. I was also quickly helped. Lora and Dr. D’Angelo (the fun one) took care of me. Good easy going conversation and you can sense the love from these two and the rest of the team. Fantastic experience: I've been a patient with Dr Lakebrink for years. I first started with a referral from a close friend and this was when he had an office in Kansas City. Since that time he's been my dentist. Loren is the only professional that has the skills and patience to work with my husband. He will consider rescheduling appointments if Loren isn't available. (ikr)Although the staff continues to grow it's the kindness and compassion of Dr. Lakebrink, Loren and many others that keeps us coming back.

Everyone is super friendly in a very genuine way and take a lot of pride in offering the best dental experience. I’ve done everything here from regular cleanings to Invisalign and Dr. Mitts and his team have always taken great care of me. Today I had a great experience with Laura who was super thorough with the cleaning and we had some great conversation. Last but not least, Big shout out to Jordan on the administrative team. We have the best conversations during check out and she always remembers the details of the stories I have shared with her over the years. Her comedic relief and positivity really set the tone for the rest of the day so I can’t help but leave with a smile, a really nice clean one at that! Fantastic experience: This is by far the best and most professional dentist I have ever been to in 60 years. Not a nicer office in this country. It's like stepping into a first class spa where you will be spoiled as soon as you walk into this doors. Negative experience: Missed my appointment by 25 minutes due to a mix up of appointment times. I tried to explain that I had made a mistake and thought my appointment was at 10:15 but was cut off by the receptionist stating my appointment was at 9:50. I drove over a hour for my appointment and had to pay for daycare for the day and take the whole day off of work to go to a dentist. I haven’t been in 3 years and was looking forward to getting my teeth cleaned now that I finally have insurance and even explained this to the receptionist upon scheduling my initial appointment. I understand them canceling my appointment and I even offered to pay the $45 cancellation fee but all I got was shortness in return. I guess I dodged a bullet. Will be scheduling a first appointment with someone else.

Positive experience: I had a good experience with taking my kids along to my appt. (Ages 5-10yrs). They have a kids room with legos and kids TV and allowed mine to hangout there during my appt. That was really nice! Wouldn’t work for younger kids, but mine are old enough to sit and wait and this worked well for us.

Negative experience: Customer service has gone downhill. Have been a client for 5+ years. My family of 4 all get their service done here. Took my daughter to have a filling and when we were done I told them I forgot my HSA card and that I would call them with it later. Some lady insisted use some other form of payment. Well I don't have anything on me. Lady gets mad and tells me I have to wait for her manager. I've spent thousands at this place I get my teeth cleaned 4 times a year. and your going to sweat me over 197 dollars. Needless to say I walked out and when I called back with my HSA card I went ahead and cancelled my 3 upcoming appointments. I'll go somewhere that treats their customers better.

Dr Mitt was able to guide me and get me in the right direction for the remediation of the implant. So when I say, this is the kindest, least judgmental, dental practice I have ever encountered. I went yesterday and I no longer have to use the gas to calm myself. Fantastic experience: I had the unfortunate situation of breaking off part of a tooth after hours. I called and left a message and they called me first thing the next morning and was able to work me in to get a crown put on. It was really a pleasant experience, start to finish. Every person in the office that I interacted with made me feel like their main job was to give me the best care. Dr. Mitts was able to do the entire crown in one visit and I left with it feeling like it was my natural tooth. I give them 5 stars, but they really deserve more than that!
