Fantastic experience: Pissed me off so bad today , 2 Jan 2025, at Market Hgts, as I was told to make this appointment to see the dr(pundt), at 0830 so he could fit my partial. This made no sense to me , when I just needed to come pick up the partial, I already paid for, as I was going to Temple at 1 pm, to have teeth pulled and have the partial fitted with them. So I get there this morning for them to hand me the damn bag and not let me see the dr. , and sent me on my way. If I a was a violent criminal, lord knows. I was so inconvenienced and had to get up that early, speed down the highway, and just to be handed a damn bag, although my partial was in it, but I never saw the Dr. , and never will again, due to poor customer service. My resolutionin 2025, is to not endure incompetence , on purpose, ever again. But thanks to Dr Courtney , in Temple. Happy New Year

The ladies in reception were also very friendly and efficient. The rest of the deep cleaning was done by Stacie. Very sweet and very thorough. A very good experience both times.

Fantastic experience: I had a bridge that had broken in half Thursday night and called First thing Friday morning. They were able to work me in and fixed my problem. Everyone was very nice. Especially the secretary up front. Appreciate it. Update February 9, 2022 I had to go back because a crown on my tooth had broken. I was able to schedule an appointment very day I called. And the whole experience was a great one. I want to point out the dental assistant Alexis, who was super sweet and kind and made what was a dreaded trip to dentist to one that was a great experience. Dr. Hoang is very nice and always seems to really want to help her patients and do what’s best for them. Highly recommend ! Updated 6-24-25- had an appointment today. Went wonderful. The dental Assistant was so sweet and kind and gentle and understanding. The ladies at the front desk. So warm and so nice. I need to say that I’ve been going here for many years and every time it has been a great experience. I recommend this Dental establishment to anyone I know and recommend to anyone who is needing dental work and not sure where to go.

Negative experience: Disappointing. Had made an appointment had to wait 30 minutes for the dentist. After he finally came and decided what treatment was needed. He left again. After another 25 minutes I decided he was too busy to treat me and I left.

Fantastic experience: I went to this Dentist office today to replace my dentures. From the minute thry held the door open for me and my walker, it was a surprisingly pleasant experience. The staff all helped each other and seemed to be a good team. I had a bad reaction to something at a dentist office several years ago, and when I told them about it, they took great pains to make sure it didnt happen today. They explained everything up front about the expense and took good care of me. July 17th I went back to the dentist to have them make adjustments to my new teeth. I have enjoyed dealing with this office. They have been so friendly and caring. If I had to do this over again I would definitely use this dentist again Mar. 2025 I am updating my review because i was still having some issues with my dentures. They got me right in and made a couple of adjustments. Then when I got ready to pay, there was no charge. So I had to come back and let them know again, how much I appreciated their service and how they have taken care of me. And I will be coming back to Market Heights for any future dental care.

Positive experience: I like this place….except that I never have the same dental hygienist. Which means sometimes I get a hygienist with a crappy personality but cleans my teeth really well. Or I get one like today who is super friendly and pleasant but too light handed and I still have a bunch of plaque left on my molars. It’s a good place with a great savings plan, but I wish I could have the same hygienist every time. And I wish they would stop pushing seeing dr. fossum for teeth straightening. I like my crooked teeth lol

Negative experience: Absolutely insane. I went in for a cleaning and a night guard for grinding. I’ve never had a dentist refuse to order me a night guard until I got fillings. The “cavities” weren’t even visible except on an X-ray - meaning they were small - and I asked to have some time to cure them (which I have done with two others) and instead of giving me that, they refused to let me get a night guard! Their “standard of care” is their way or the highway, so if you have any amount of intelligence to fight for what you actually want for your health, don’t go here.

Fantastic experience: We moved into the area and I broke a tooth so I needed a dentist sooner than later. The entire team was cordial and very professional.

Negative experience: Be careful and ask for prices for every single thing they offer and request a formal quote because if you do not, you will end up paying a lot of money, especially for unnecessary services or xrays. A small cavity fixing turned into a lot of pain and extreme sensitivity. Went back twice and never received an approach of responsibility from the dentist. Always wanted to refer me to an endodontist and / or other associated specialists. I ended going to another dentist for a second opinion, and found out that the cavity was still active under the fixing...in order to fix the issue of infection and damege of the molar I had to pay for a root canal and a crown. The cost I had to pay for the consequences of such a bad service and lack of information as a Medicare patient is frustrating and unjust.

Fantastic experience: The best dental office ever...I fractured a tooth and they got me in to be seen right away and did a temporary crown and took good care of me ..the permanent crown will be put on in a week or so ...great staff ...fast and efficient

Fantastic experience: I am TERRIFIED of going to the dentist, but a chipped tooth forced me to go. I've never seen such a smiling, kind and gentle group of people. The scheduler was great and called me about a cancellation so I could get in quicker. The receptionist was very friendly. The dental assistant was patient and explained everything she was doing, and frequently asked how I was doing, and Dr. Tochterman was THE BEST. I stressed for nothing!

Negative experience: I only had one positive experience at this clinic when the doctor examined me and disagreed with the diagnosis made by another doctor from a different clinic. Thank him for this. This clinic is staffed by very timid dentists and their assistants. I was very disappointed with this clinic. They seated me to prepare for my teeth cleaning and created a 3D visualization of my teeth / jaws. Noticing that I was quite worried, the assistant consulted with the doctor and then returned with him. In the end, they refused to clean my teeth. After some time, I received a bill for the 3D visualization, which is not covered by any dental insurance. Consequently, I had to pay $85 for this 3D visualization, it's a waste of money! I believe it is unacceptable that dentists and their assistants are afraid when a patient is feeling anxious in the dental chair, leading them to refuse to continue the procedure. In my opinion, any doctor should prioritize helping the patient and should not hesitate to reassure them that everything will be fine while performing their job to the best of their ability. Do not consent to 3D visualization of your jaws, as it is an unnecessary expense that you will need to pay out of pocket rather than through insurance. 3D visualization merely illustrates what your teeth would look like if straightened with braces, and for the providers, it is primarily a way to generate revenue.

Negative experience: They keep rescheduling my cleaning, with no notice and now its put off for 2 months. Having to take time off is not ideal when I plan around this appointment.

Negative experience: The dentist was very unprofessional, not friendly and did a very bad job on my teeth. To start he pulled out the wrong tooth, didn't administer enough novocaine. I felt him pulling the teeth. And to top it off he didn't put the prescription in. I wouldn't recommend this dentist to anyone.

Negative experience: Definitely do not recommend this place. The front office staff blatantly lied to my face saying that they left a voicemail the day before saying that if I did not confirm my appointment by 1500 that day that they would cancel it. The voicemail did not indicate that information and only said they were trying to call to confirm the appointment. They also said they had sent me multiple text messages to confirm and as I was looking they realized I was opted out of text messages and had sent an email to my significant others email address and not even mine for the confirmation of the appointment. The appointments I had were set in place for 6 months! I am highly disappointed in the professionalism of this office staff. So make sure you proceed with caution if you choose this facility as they will cancel you and book others no matter how long you have waited for the appointment if you don’t confirm it.

After doing a little search, I called Market Heights Family Dental and to my surprise they were able to schedule me quite quickly for a cleaning. The ladies at the front desk were professional and upbeat...Rita and Deanna (ladies I am sooooo very sorry if I misspelled your names!) to name a couple of them. They made you feel so welcome and haooy to have you as a patient. My hygienist Hanna was absolutely wonderful as was Dr. Lim! They both took their time and ensured a thorough cleaning and exam and made me feel as though my health was a priority even with the busy buzz of their full clinic that day. I also booked a second appointment recently due to a concern I had with another tooth. I am a pretty maticulous person and hone in on the nitty gritty details and let me tell you I was super impressed once again with the team at this facility! The assistant (whose name I cannot recall - I am so sorry!) was absolutely amazing and kind! Dr. Lim once again wowed me with her attention to my concerns and her treatment plan for me. They even write up potential costs for you prior so there are no big surprises at check out. All in all, I am so happy with my decision to have made this my new dental practice. The 5 star reviews do not lie and I can tell you this is a great place for your dental care. If you are searching for a new dentist and feeling unsure, look no further. As a new patient, I was scanned and given a detailed review of my teeth and gums to an extent that I have never experienced before. I appreciate when someone remembers not just me but my family and the dynamics and we can pick up where we left off in conversations and that’s with a 6 month break between dental visits. Fantastic experience: Dr. Pundt by far has been the best dentist that I have seen in years. Usually after the type of procedure that I had done, which are fillings under the gumline due to some chronic health issues that affect my mouth I have had a very long recovery (weeks) This dentist was amazing., I didn’t feel a thing! he numbed me very well and with very little discomfort after my procedure’. He was fast and efficient. My mouth has bounced back quicker than previous identical type of fillings and he is definitely an asset to Market Heights Dental and it is my absolute preference for the dentist that I will continue to see. His dental assistant was very compassionate and patient as well. 10 STARS!

Fantastic experience: This dentist office is remarkable in terms of its quality and customer service. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by friendly front-desk employees; especially, Jaerin who always reaches out to patients for available openings and consistently provides a positive attitude and friendly service to patients. Additionally, the hygienist and doctor have a positive attitude and their efforts are apparent in the work they do. Starting service with this dentist was an excellent decision and one I encourage others to make as well.

Fantastic experience: I have severe anxiety when it comes to dentists. When I first went in my blood pressure was high that they would not be able to do any fillings or such today. I was disappointed as I drove 1.5 hours to get some relief. BUT to my knowledge I had no cavities. My pain was coming from grinding my teeth. They took X rays, set up a treatment plan and truly made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend and will be back next week for My cleaning!

My situation was a bit different, traveling and being pregnant a few months it was very hard to find a place that could help with an emergency extraction. So grateful they could fit me in same day❤ All the staff was very kind and supportive, they took so much care in everything they did. Even brought me a blanket and pillow! The doctor and assistant were able to get everything done so quickly! I was so scared going in and not knowing what to expect, but they were true professionals and did such a great job. I really appreciate everything they were able to do for me! Would give 10 stars if I could, definitely feel like they went above and beyond, and it's no surprise they have such great reviews online compared to others.
