Fantastic experience: Dr. Jockin DDS and the entire staff at Lake Park Dental in Lutz FL are top notch in the dental realm including their professionalism, personalities, and thorough patient care. I had a need for some serious dental "work" and the team was so incredibly comprehensive as to explaining what could be accomplished, how long, and how much would be covered by insurance. They made a difficult decision so much easier to make and the results are amazing. They did not want me to leave unless I perfectly satisfied and even made a one week follow-up appt, just in case the "fit" was not perfect! I actually look forward to visiting Dr. Jockin and the Lake Park Dental team in the future and cannot recommend their practice enough. They are amazing! Thank you for restoring my smile...

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jockin was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I had gotten regular dentures from my dentist and oral surgeon and I wanted her to take me on as a patient but she explained how that would be unethical. She is however going to accept me as a dental patient since my regular dentist is retiring. My Oral Surgeon is going to have to continue with my care and I can understand why that is. The staff is very helpful and the office is clean. This is the best dental office I have been to. My son is also going to her and she put in full arch permanent dentures with Implants (upper and lower) and she did a beautiful job, I can’t wait to see the permanent teeth. I sure wish I had her to do mine. So far I highly recommend her.

Fantastic experience: As a new patient I was highly impressed with the level of professionalism and kindness with each person I interacted with. Simple check-in, nice lobby area they even offer beverages, thorough cleaning by Karina, pictures, and x-rays. She was gentle and great throughout the whole experience. Top of the line technology and Dr. Guerrero took the time to explain, discuss treatment plans and answer ALL my questions. They genuinely care about your wellbeing and are ALL great at their job. I’m so glad I moved to their location and wished I would have done it sooner. The scheduling coordinator called me same day to figure out appt options that worked for me -top notch experience!

Fantastic experience: Professional, efficient and helpful through the process of Invisalign. My results were fully achieved.

Negative experience: While the dentist who I saw did great work, he had to put off an extraction due to an infection. Gave me a script for antibiotics and to come back in a week. After that week I returned for the remaining work to be done, he did the extraction and decided I didn’t need any more antibiotics. Needless to say I ended up at the ER at 4am within 2 days of the extraction. I followed all instructions they provided but still had severe infection in the socket. Also, be very mindful and aware of how much your bill is or will be. I was told they billed my insurance for some of the work, I paid $2200 out of pocket and was told that it covered both the crown and implant tooth and wouldn’t need to pay anything when I come back for the perms to be placed. After paying what was due from my insurance balance, I was confronted with yet another bill of $2100 before they’d place the perms. You can imagine my surprise considering they told me I didn’t need to pay anything else to get the perms placed. I was very upset with this, they could have at least told me one before my appointment when they contacted me regarding the remaining balance owed from my insurance. I had referred a friend to them who needs full mouth implants. She was quoted at 50k out of pocket. When they submitted everything to her insurance (both medical and dental), her out of pocket went down to 8k. She received a call from the insurance company stating that the dentist was charging them 90k. Now explain to me how a 50k out of pocket went up to 98k in total? I see why their office is so fancy on the inside.

Fantastic experience: Just had a cleaning today and had insurance issues, but a lovely young woman—I believe her name was Brooke—if not then whoever had 4th of July themed nails. She was very helpful and got the problem situated during my appointment! Then there’s my dental hygienist, Irene, she is absolutely phenomenal! When I first started going here there was a hygienist who’d scrape at my teeth a little rough; with my sensitive gums, it would hurt a good bit along with bleed. Irene is very skilled and didn’t make my mouth hurt at all! She was really nice to chat with and listen to during my appointment. Also made sure that my retainer got cleaned, and got it back to me as I was leaving. (My last appointment I learned that they have something that deep cleans retainers, night guards and such.) All in all, if you’re looking for an amazing dental hygienist you could go for basically any of the staff. But I would 100000% put lovely Irene as my top recommendation! ❤️ :)

Fantastic experience: Dr Guerrero and staff did an excellent job putting a new crown in my mouth in 2.5 hours!!! I am an old lady. Crown preparation and placement could take a couple weeks, outsourcing to a lab, returning for fitting back in the day. I am just flabbergasted by all the new fingaled tech equipment and HOW FAST the whole procedure was completed. Dr G and staff friendly and supportive. A very positive dental experience!.

Negative experience: Went there for cleaning stayed there an hour and a half while they tried to tell me all the things I needed done and then they told me they were unable to do the things that I scheduled to have done and then… They didn’t have time to schedule me For my cleaning which was scheduled for six months was not a very happy camper that they were focused on things they wanted to fix instead of cleaning my teeth

I will spare the details, however it’s not advisable to choose a DDS based on insurance coverage when you are already a patient of an exceptional practice like Lake Park Dental. I have been to so many dentists over the years and have not been able to resolve my issues, but Lake Park has helped me and I am forever grateful.

Negative experience: I wish I could give 0 stars. My brother went in for a New Patient Exam and X-rays. We received his treatment plan, and I asked for a copy of the X-rays as well from Vee (treatment plan coordinator). Vee emailed everything to me except a CT Scan that was in question. I myself have been in the dental field for a while and looking at the X-rays they were suboptimal; the apex of his teeth was not even visible. I called their office to further go over the treatment plan because they had proposed to extract all of his upper and lower teeth with no explanation or reasoning. The only reasoning I could figure out was they wanted him to be another guinea pig of their "all on 4 dental implants" procedure. When speaking to Vee, my question was why would any dentist want to extract a person's own perfectly healthy structured teeth? I was told that she was looking at his CT scan and his upper teeth were not stable. Come to find out per my brother and his Dental Insurance no CT scan was ever taken or charged to his insurance company. After going back and forth with Vee (treatment plan coordinator) I was trying to figure out a treatment plan where we could meet in the middle, and she was adamant that what she proposed was his only option. Funny because when my brother was in the office and spoke to Dr Sarah Jockin, DDS, (Implant Dentist) she stated to him that taking out any of his lower teeth would be unwarranted. It's simply another case of a treatment plan coordinator taking advantage of a patient to make the office more money and project an image of competence to their boss. In the end, all Vee was interested in was taking my brother for a $42,000.00 ride for treatment that was not necessary. Unfortunately, the Dental field is a business of making money that is not always in the best interest of the patient and Lake Park Dental definitely falls in that category.

Fantastic experience: Great dental office! They are detailed, friendly, professional, patient, honest and modern. As a new patient, they gave me a tour of the facility, which was a welcoming touch. There rooms have nice views of the forest area and while there I saw a deer! Both the hygienist (Karina) and doctor were great!

Fantastic experience: The office was neat and clean. We were treated very well by the receptionist. Wait time was very reasonable and the dentist and assistant were very courteous. If I had a question they took the time to answer it. They were very professional. It was a lot better experience than the last dental visits I had. I would recommend this dentistry. It's a full service dentistry as well. A one stop shop place. Which is something that I prefer.

Negative experience: I have been a patient of Lake Park for years and always had good service...until recently. I've noticed small changes over the last year and believed they must have changed admin. Sure enough, I went in to have the second part of my procedure done and they came in with an different plan, Claiming my insurance would not cover it (my insurance hasn't changed)...this is after I confirmed with them (my first visit) that my out of pocket for the ENTIRE PROCEDURE was paid...their answer was yes! I will also say that I have had multiple implants and crowns, everyone of them have broken or come loose several times each! I never complained because they backed up their work...not so much now! I now leave their practice with a broken ctown amd two unfinished implants. In the past, would have recommended them...Now, I suggest you use extream caution when working with Lake Park Dental!

Fantastic experience: My experience at Lake Park Dental went beyond expectations. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and timely. Dr. Bhatia was great and put me at ease. They have the latest technology that gave me a new crown which feels like my natural tooth again, I am so pleased! I also love that they offer 5pm appointments a couple days a week which helps with my busy schedule. I highly recommend this office.

My cleaning was professionally done without any problem, and the dentist conducted my check-up, seems to be please with my upkeep of my maintaining my care of my teeth. Negative experience: Literally awful, cannot run on a schedule. If you have an appointment you can show up an hour late and they still won’t be working on you! Awful service and time management. Save your time and money and go somewhere that values time

Negative experience: I've been a patient at Lake Park Dental for over 15 years and I will not be a patient or refer any other family or friends to this practice any longer. The staff and the experience has been slowly declining. It's been a revolving door of dentists. My last appointment I was scheduled for a crown. I'm being prepped and the hygienist says are you ready for your bridge. The staff seems clueless. The front desk person is rude and not helpful. I asked for my estimate to be emailed to me three times before I got the email. The document I signed in the office had things crossed off and manipulated after I signed it. They over charge patients upfront and you have to wait years sometimes to get your refund because the insruance paid a lot more than they estimated. After my temporary crown was completed I was scheduled two weeks out for the permanent crown. Two hours before my appointment they call to tell me the crown arrived broken and they will order a new one. Now I have to wait an addtional two weeks. I can't chew on the right side and I have had pain and discomfort for over three weeks. My temporary crown came off. I called to get in so they can get this fixed while I'm still waiting for the permanent and they refused to help me. My tooth is extrememly sensitive and I'm having discomfort and they were not willing to help. It's a Friday and around the holidays so I guess that's more important that helping a patient, a customer, I'm just a number, even though my family has been coming for over 15 years. Time to move on.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure to be a patient at Lakepark Dental. The staff is amazing. The level of professionalism is first class. They treat you like a human being with empathy and support and education every step of the way. No surprises, I never had to question what was next as they make sure to communicate with you every step of the way. I received upper and lower dental implants and with their help was able to have my medical and dental insurance cover the majority of the procedure with the balance put on a low monthly low interest payment plan. I have been struggling for over 20 years with dental issues giving up hope that I was ever going to be able to correct it enough to be able to smile again one day without hiding my teeth. They have made the impossible (what I thought was) possible and I am writing this review all smiles and never will I have to cover my mouth again. No more pain, no more embarrassment and I can eat what I want, Dr, Jockin is amazing and her staff is truly an extension of her. She was wonderful! I felt totally confident having her treat me. She is super gentle and did a great job. Her assistant, Emma, was also very good. I would very highly recommend Dr. Guerrero to anyone. I have now also seen Yuka, the hygienist, and she is exceptional. Super gentle and very thorough.

Fantastic experience: Caring and compassionate staff. Efficient process. Comfortable office and the dental chairs are even massaging. When I had to have a temporary crown replaced, Ariel was friendly and better yet, gentle. She made what could have been a bad experience as quick and painless as possible. And Dr Ari is awesome. He made sure to check that I was ok throughout the whole process.

Negative experience: All they cared about was selling invisalign. Not every person is a good candidate for this product. I should have been sent to an orthodontist for braces. One tooth was sideways. They know better, but don't care. Horrible!!!

Fantastic experience: I'm not the type of person who typically leaves reviews for businesses, but Lake Park Dental is certainly an exception. I have been using this place as my primary location for dental health for about 5 years, and the quality of service and staff are constantly exceeding my expectations. The experience is honestly so comfortable that it feels like a spa day sometimes. You're offered coffee when you walk in, the waiting room is extremely nice and comfortable, and they'll even provide heated blankets for you during your cleaning session. I would rate this place 6/5 stars if I could. Lake Park Dental is seriously wonderful.

Fantastic experience: From the very first appointment I have felt comfortable and at ease with this establishment. Dr. Jockin, and her staff, go above and beyond to take away any concerns you have. I am in the process of having implants. Yesterday I had surgery, today I received my temporary implants. I am so extremely satisfied and impressed with Doc and office.

Fantastic experience: My husband's fear of seeing a dentist has led to his teeth being neglected. It is too the point that it is medically necessary for him to have his teeth/mouth fixed. He found this place, and we came in to see what it's all about. From the moment we walked in, he felt comfortable and at ease. During the consultation, they walked us around the office and explained everything. The staff is so patient and very caring! I'm so glad he found this place! We are now working towards getting him a healthy mouth. UPDATE: Dr. Jockin and staff have been taking great care of my hubby. 2 months later, we're more pleased than originally.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of LPD since 2019. My relationship with the practice was amazing. I had two implants by Dr. Jockins and was very impressed. I would return to her if needed. I also was seen by another doctor. She also was great and left during the pandemic. Then I was assigned a new doctor. I will not call him by name, but his uncaring and unprofessional treatment almost made me leave the practice. He has since left the practice. Yesterday I went for my routine cleaning and was assigned to the hygienist Hira. She was very personable and professional. I felt as if I had known her for a while. Then I was examined by Dr. Guerrero for the first time, although my husband has been in her care. He always had nice things to say about her. I agree with him. She was very caring and professional and explained things in detail. Thanks, Dr. Guerrero and Hira for restoring my faith in LPD.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to leave a quick review in regard to my consultation appointment yesterday with Sarah Jockin DDS with Lake Park Dental. Dr. Jockin was amazing. She took her time to answer all my questions and was very thorough. She listened to my concerns and thoroughly explained the obstacles I am up against. The moment I met her, you could tell she has so much compassion for her patients and wants to provide the best treatment plan for you to obtain a natural looking smile. I would highly recommend Sarah Jockin DDS - Lake Park Dental.

Negative experience: It was downhill after my initial visit. The dentist who first helped me had resigned along with another dentist. There was no notification, no explanation, nothing. Then they insisted I get a very expensive implant. In 2023, I had to wait 2 months after the 1st step of the process, and then they didn't finish until 2 more months. It was now 2024 and it turns out medicare no longer covers implants. So this had to come out of my shallow pockets. I looked at my bills and realized I was charged for items not on my treatment plan. Office staff reviewed it and made about $200 in "adjustments" but couldn't explain what was adjusted. I doubt I'll return., but I owe them $700 that I was told medicare would cover.

Negative experience: Tried to get one xray having to drive all the way from Spring Hill which is one hour one way ? They said they could “would “ only do it at either 8 am or 5 pm ? How can you run a business this way. I pick up my son at 8 and drop him at 5 . I asked if o could have another time she said unfortunately, no that’s the only times they have. So to put context I just spent 500 down promise of 4500 dollars they are making . They can’t make 15 minutes available to take an xray I have to drive over an hour for ? So now I’m too busy and I don’t recommend this dental office for anything . I called my local office here after many excuses they are too busy it’s there policy ? it was learned that they are doing this as a favor? I asked how can it be a favor if they are both working for same place making money ? The office manager here at dentist place for kids is trying to speak to them but tbh I’m not sure I want these people touching my child now they are so unreasonable and Unadjustable that they can’t make 15 minutes to take an xray I have to drive an hour for . I don’t know what to think but they lost a lot of my confidence today . I’m can’t in good conscious recommend this office to anyone apparently they don’t make exceptions and having been alive 54 yrs sometimes dental issues become emergencies I wonder what would happen if I showed up in terrible pain I guess I would be told to come back at 752 am or 517 pm that they are too busy ? I was told that some dental offices don’t accept emergencies ? So they just take money and follow there own personal rules that don’t really apply to us customers . Update : so the local office here dentist place for kids attempted to reach out to this office but no dice so I’ll now be waiting for Spring Hill to get the equipment installed but still I would think twice about these people I was given a lot of excuses all not worth two cents? Busy office blah blah . Must be nice maybe less money will help them bend there schedule some either way I don’t recommend this dentist office however dentist place for kids is great I kinda hope they break away from these people now . Florida seems to be a place where if you get bad service oh well they’ll just take the next person and a lot of places run this way there for a honest review is only way someone might see what’s going on here .
