Fantastic experience: I still give them 5 stars because the office itself is awesome but, as much I love the staff and doctor at the Denville office, waiting over an hour on the phone to reschedule an appointment is ridiculous. There is no other option because the online rescheduling button only gives you a schedule to pick the appointment you want but not cancel the other one or choose the kind of appointment you need. Do better and maybe have each facility tale their own calls. Spent my whole lunch hour on hold

Positive experience: I got braces done in the South Plainfield office. The orthodontist left without notice after I was promised service and paid my money and had several appointments. They switch to another orthodontist wore my braces for two years but I am not totally satisfied with my overall results. My teeth is still crooked it and I’m did not recieve the results I was looking for on my last appointment. The retainers didn’t fit they had to make me another one and was told to come back in two hours. I am not satisfied and will be calling back tomorrow because I tried to see if it will get better wearing the retainers but I am not overall satisfied with my results considering I do see results from the day I came for the consultation but not satisfied after paying over $5.000.

Fantastic experience: My son had a consult today and then ended up starting treatment. The consultant Sarah was kind and professional, as was the orthodontist. They explained the entire treatment process and the cost. Not only that , but my son is anxious when it comes to dentists and doctors and I have never seen him this calm with a dentist. I would definitely recommend this office, they are great with teens and children and very patient.

Negative experience: They broke the chains in my gums so i had to get an oral surgery redone and refused to give me a new retainer after getting two caps on teeth they told me to get caps on so now my teeth have shifted terribly.

Fantastic experience: Hillary is such a professional, polite and knowledgeable individual. Ever since our first encounter, I knew I wanted Hillary to attend to me at all times. Dnt get me wrong, all the girls are sweet and capable, however Hillary exhibits an unmatched degree of competence, confidence and obvious experience. Hillary is also the perfect “sidekick” for Dr. Chough! She receives and interprets instructions so well and there’s little to no need for a repeat of what needs to be executed or what is expected. She also demonstrates remarkable precision in a very timely manner! Please keep Hillary on the team and give her some sort of lead position! She’s simply and truly amazing and exemplary!

Negative experience: We chose Diamond Braces because their prices were lower than those of other orthodontists in the area. However, by the end of the two-year treatment period, the results did not align with what was originally promised. Now, we are being told that additional treatment is necessary—and with the added fees, the total cost will end up being equal to or even higher than what other orthodontists would have charged. At every visit, my son was seen by a different doctor, and no one informed us that the treatment wasn’t progressing as it should have been—until our final appointment. If we had known from the beginning that the cost would end up being comparable or higher, we would not have chosen Diamond Braces. Other practices offer better continuity of care, higher-quality staff, and more professional facilities. The treatment environment at Diamond Braces felt impersonal and assembly-line-like, with patients being moved through the process as if on a conveyor belt. My son often felt more like a product than a patient, and I was deeply concerned about the lack of consistency in his care. Overall, our experience left us feeling that Diamond Braces prioritizes profit over patient well-being, relying on vague communication and substandard treatment quality.

Fantastic experience: With today’s visit I was very impressed with Dr. Miller’s professionalism, and her expertise. Dr. Miller gave my daughter Jessica options for her treatment and a piece of mind. Helen was amazing with explaining everything as a smooth transition. The warm welcoming to the Hackensack office by Helen and Keisha made the great first impression and difference. Negative experience: I unfortunately cannot recommend Diamond Braces based on our experience. I would like to share my disappointing experience as I believe there are areas where improvements could be made. Firstly, we were taken aback by an unexpected charge of $1,100. Our child had been receiving treatment, and there was no prior communication about this additional cost. After waiting for several weeks, we were finally informed by email that this was due to a miscalculation on Diamond Braces’ part, and that treatment could not proceed until the additional payment was made. At this point, my child had already fallen behind by six weeks. Additionally, the initial cost estimate we were provided lacked sufficient clarity. It was later explained that the original amount was only an "estimate," but for us, this discrepancy felt more like an oversight. We believe this could have been better communicated from the outset to avoid confusion and frustration. When we attempted to reach customer service to address these concerns, we encountered significant delays in getting assistance. After spending a considerable amount of time on hold, we were disappointed by the lack of understanding and empathy regarding our situation. Moreover, the customer service representative’s comment about our choice of Invisalign versus traditional metal braces felt unnecessarily judgmental and inappropriate, as this was a personal decision we made for our child’s needs. Although I understand that others may have had a positive experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend Diamond Braces based on our experience. I hope they take these concerns into account and work to improve both their transparency regarding costs and their customer service moving forward.

Negative experience: Do NOT go here. Save yourself the headache. I came to this office multiple times to get my Invisalign removed. They continued charging me $100/month, even after I requested removal. I visited THREE separate times, and each time I was hit with new charges—down payments and monthly balances—just to get the aligners off. On my third visit, I had to demand they take it off. Only then did the manager say they wouldn’t remove anything until the balance was paid—despite me being ready and willing to pay in full. The issue wasn’t the money—it was the rude, unprofessional staff and the terrible communication that made the experience so frustrating. To make matters worse, the work they did was subpar. My new dentist told me my teeth are shifting incorrectly—now I have to start the process all over again somewhere else. Absolutely unacceptable. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Positive experience: The staff here are generally okay. I visited several orthodontic offices before choosing this one because it is closer to my home. Negative experience: Showed up 5 min early for scheduled 230 appointment. No one in site. Calling out for assistance with no responce. Called main number to inquire on why no one is present was put on hold while the person called the office to find out why no one was at desk. Watched the phone ring in front of me for 10 min straight. After waiting for 20 min staff suddenly appeared. Didn't answer the phone and with no acknowledgement. Horrible first impression.

Negative experience: Everyone was very nice, informative, and strike the perfect balance between speed, effectiveness, and attention. *edit* Unfortunately I have to update this with 2 stars instead of 5. My previous comment still stands, all the doctors and staff were fantastic, but the "system" of this business is horrendous. First, when you call, there is a chance that you will be connected to a NEW Ai receptionist. It continually called me different names (none of them were my name or even sounded like my name). They have fake sounds of typing and "office chatter" in the background to try to trick you into believing it is a person. I was attempting to connect to a real person for 9 solid minutes. "Please connect me to a real person" "Please connect me to a human being" "OKAY! LET ME CONNECT YOU TO MY ASSOCIATE" *Same Ai pretends to come onto the phone* It was like I was stuck in an episode of black mirror or the twilight zone. I was going to let it slide, all businesses are trying to find ways to utilize Ai and there are going to be errors and hiccups. But what made me come back to edit this and post everything is that for days after my appointment. I was being BOMBARDED with emails and texts with "promotions" "$200 OFF!" I unsubbed both my phone and email on their site. THE TEXTS AND EMAILS KEPT COMING. I unsubbed through my email provider and THEY STILL KEPT COMING. I went back on their site and must have unsubbed over 4 times. Still the messages persisted. Finally I had to block their email, and text them back stating that I had unsubbed, was still receiving texts, and that if I continued to receive texts I would pursue legal action. (ROBO CALLS LIKE THIS ARE ILLEGAL IN NJ) The whole thing was just terrible. Be careful giving this company any of your info. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because like my original review stated, every HUMAN BEING that worked there, that I came into contact with, was wonderful. Helpful, nice, informative, attentive yet speedy.

Positive experience: I was so happy to finally get braces… I am 53 years old with many gaps so I went to Diamond Braces in Hackensack NJ and was told by the dentist that I’m a good candidate for Invisalign. So I took a loan with credit care and Diamond Braces were paid but I have to pay back Credit Care. Fast forward 10 months, I was having problems with my teeth so I went to an oral doctor and was told that I should not be wearing Invisalign. I was so hurt and disappointed because my oral surgeon said no one should have recommended Invisalign until my underlining dental issues were resolved. I was so thrilled and now so hurt. I felt that this orthodontist just wanted my money instead of being honest with me. The first office staff and the dental technicians are AMAZING!! But I would not recommend this dentist! Honestly is the best policy! Update: The orthodontist called me and made me feel at ease. But I still felt that he should have told me the truth that I wasn’t a good candidate for Invisalign.

Fantastic experience: The intake staff were so sweet and accommodating. They took us right away. Once seated in the room my daughter was choosing what color rubber bands she wanted. Her tech was so light-handed and gentle she barely felt him working. All of our initial questions were answered and we were there approximately 1 hour. It’s was a pleasant experience.

Fantastic experience: I enjoy bringing my daughter. There is minimal wait time and they are super quick. Depending on what you are getting done of course. They are also very hands on. Definitely recommend. Parking is limited so take that into consideration. The earlier your appointment the better chance you’ll find comfortable parking either in their lot or street parking.

Negative experience: There is no point in making an appointment when you wait 45 minutes if not longer. They over book and then you stand around waiting to be seen. This office has booked appointments in advance for the following month and then called me a day before to tell me they have to reschedule because the doc isn’t in and it has happened 4 different times already. The front desk is full of incompetent staff and the parking lot can fill up fast. I would not recommend this office ever not even to someone I didn’t like!

Negative experience: My worst decision was choosing this place for my daughter!!! They told me that my daughter's insurance did not cover the braces, this means that her dad paid for the entire braces treatment! When my daughter finished the treatment, at 6 months all her teeth began to move and her mouth was bothering her. These people did nothing to help my daughter!! They sent me to a general dentist when they put the retainer in!! and they did the braces treatment for 2 years!!! worst!!! Even though the girl complained of severe pain and discomfort, the doctor simply ignored her with his cheap speech!!! The hygiene in that place is also a bit confusing.

Negative experience: My appointment was at 10 a.m., but we waited 45 minutes before anything began. After taking some pictures, the secretary started giving us general information. She explained everything as if we were already familiar with it, then told us the doctor would come. We waited, but no doctor showed up. Instead, the secretary returned and took over the doctor's role. We were left confused about what we needed, why we needed it, and what the best solution would be. It was a total fiasco. There was no respect for the patient and no concern for customer satisfaction. A secretary was trying to sell us something, which I found disrespectful in the absence of a doctor. This place seems set up solely to make money for its owners. There was no patient privacy, as the service was provided in a large room where patients sat side by side without any dividers. They mostly offer low-quality service, using basic materials in a poorly maintained office, while trying to get as much as they can from both insurance and out-of-pocket payments. Plus you will not be able to unsubscribe from their emails and messages, they will keep you bugging via email and phone. I don't believe all these positive Google reviews are 100% accurate. I wasted an hour for nothing and wouldn't recommend it.

Negative experience: Is it normal to not sanitize the chair after customers sit in it? A quick wipe is all it would need. I watched 4 people come in and out of one chair and not a single wipe down. Just a curious question with Covid and flu season going around someone in the back was definitely hacking up a lung.

Negative experience: Giving 1 star to write this review and will not disclose my name. Have been to this location to get permanent retainers replaced and this despicable, dishonest, and unprofessional male Russian orthodontist CHIPPED my tooth in the process and did NOT inform me at the time. During the removal, I felt a sharp tension/tug and when I returned home, TO MY HORROR I noticed a chip to my upper right lateral tooth which had been chipped at the bottom/cratered. Luckily, I had taken pictures of my teeth right before this and had proof. I immedatiely went back and was assisted by Dr. Park and she shaved my chipped tooth down to even it out. Nobody should be subject to what I went though. I am very upset and to this day, I still have trauma from this experience. IN ADDITION After my permanent retainers were replaced, I needed removal retainers which came out with sharp edges, disfigured, uneven, ridiculously tight, painful - just impossible to wear. Again, I showed this to Dr. Park and she had to redo impressions on me which caused significant delay in my care. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE/DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE.
