Negative experience: I’d give these guys a zero if I could. They’re quick to take your money but do not finish the work. I’d avoid at all cost. Unprofessional staff, and when they mess up your teeth they just say I’m sorry. Go somewhere else.

Negative experience: Today August 25th 2025 worst experience ever at Valor Dental first of all 20 minutes we waited to get into a room then nobody said anything to us and they had somebody come and take the wires off of my granddaughter's teeth to do x-ray I refuse to have x-rays done we're still waiting in the room and she has no wires on her teeth we need to leave immediately

Negative experience: I would give a zero if I could. I had 2 wait over 40m for my appointment every time. They reschedule my appointments forcing me to wait months. I came in 4 a chip tooth. This needed to be addressed 1st Instead they do it last forcing me to be in pain for 4 months. Shitty service. They refuse to use radiation guards even when I request them. They refuse to adhere to my medical need to have one. I never go back. I was gonna get braces but I guess I'll take my business else where.

Positive experience: Been happy with the place so far. I often show up 15 minutes early, but it feels like the doctor doesn't show up until 10-15 minutes after the actual appointment time. They do communicate if they are running behind.

Negative experience: WARNING: STAY AWAY FROM VALER DENTAL! Every negative review you’ve read is absolutely TRUE. The only reason they have positive reviews is because they bribe patients with $50 credits toward procedures—it’s all smoke and mirrors. I went in because a filling had fallen out and the tooth was causing me pain. I told them a root canal was out of my budget right now, especially with how outrageously overpriced they are. Last year, I was quoted $900 for this exact tooth—Valer Dental tried to charge me $3,200. That’s not just expensive—it’s predatory. What’s worse is how completely unprofessional the entire staff is. The actual dentist spoke to me for barely two minutes before disappearing and sending in a random office staff member to push payment plans on me like I was buying a used car. No care, no compassion—just dollar signs. And here’s the most horrifying part: my tooth was infected—and I’m 7½ months pregnant. An infection at this stage puts me at serious risk for preterm labor, yet they refused to give me any antibiotics because I wasn’t committing to a procedure right then and there. They would’ve rather let me suffer than help me. They offered to pull the tooth and place a socket for $220. I ended up going to another dental office and was treated with compassion and urgency — and paid nothing out of pocket. If you’re looking for trustworthy, ethical care — go to Bosque Farms Family Dentistry. They treated me with kindness and professionalism, and they actually listened. Valer Dental is unprofessional, overpriced, and downright dangerous — especially for vulnerable patients. Don’t risk your health here. You deserve better.

Negative experience: Went in for a root canal, I had 5 different people working on me and it still took them 4 HOURS to finish my work, constantly kept leaving me in the room with my mouth open. Horrible experience and took forever just for me to have to go back so they can finished the work they started. Never again also I get students/new employees have to learn but I am not a puppet find better ways to teach for your students/interns wtv they are.

Negative experience: ***0 star review*** I was initially seen at Valer dental in October of 2020 for a consultation for braces. At the time I decided against it, wanting to explore other options. I didn’t think much about it again. Fast forward to April 2025, I start getting emails and texts every couple days stating that I have an “open balance due to our office- Valer Dental- Coors has reached over 60 days.” What?!? At the time I called and wasn’t able to get much information so 5/1/2025 I went in and spoke with a woman named Elsa who told me that in fact I was charged for braces and had an outstanding balance of $1750! It gets worse though! They billed my insurance 03/15/2021 for the braces and my insurance covered the max, with the remaining $1750 being my responsibility. Elsa was very helpful and understanding of my situation. She provided the name of her supervisor (Stephanie) and said that I had just missed her but assured me that I would hear back from Stephanie the next morning to have these charges dismissed. I never heard back from Stephanie and as of 7/10/2025 I am still receiving the texts and emails stating that I have an outstanding balance. I have since contacted my insurance company and reported the fraudulent charges and intend to report Valer dental to the BBB as well as filing a claim to the attorney general for fraud. It’s a shame that they advertise a FREE braces consultation and charge you on the sly. It’s extremely disheartening to know that my personal/financial information is not safe, even in a dentists office.

Fantastic experience: Valer Dental is amazing. I was an emergency appointment due to a broken tooth. I was in severe pain and they took really good care of me and made me feel very comfortable. The staff Justin was very respectful , friendly and checked on me very often, he even talked to me until I was pain free and felt comfortable. He made sure I was satisfied with the treatment and the things he had to complete. The Dentist Dr. Belle was so friendly and explained everything she was doing. She was so concerned about my pain and made sure she took care of my needs. She was very gentle and I actually left there like “WOW”, she did everything with care. They were amazing and they made my experience very comfortable. I honestly thought I was going to have a rough night due to pain, but I actually was able to sleep Comfortable. I have to return in 2 weeks for a clening and the 2nd part of my root canal. I am confident i will have another great experiance. Great Staff and I was very pleased. Thank You, Rebecca Garza

I don't say that lightly either! Mary & Dr Lo were there both times. They BOTH are very patient, specific & really pay attention to do the work with integrity!! HUGE in my book! Mary is awesome, we both like to laugh. Natalie up front was kind & really knew what she was doing. Ive sent referrals there.The Atmosphere was calmer than most dentist offices. They also take my Ins which helps! GREAT JOB VALER dental!(Coors)

The pre fit with a wax one eliminates a LOT of after-care for adjustments… I may need a little adjustment in the near future but I can tell this one is already the best one I’ve had. Negative experience: 0-Star Experience – Stay Away I had an extremely disappointing experience with Valer Dental. The office was unprofessional, disorganized, and unsanitary, with noticeable errors and typos throughout all the paperwork. My son went in only for a braces consultation—we never proceeded with treatment or returned. Yet, I recently received an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from my dental insurance showing that Valer Dental submitted a $7,000 claim for braces that were never provided. I have reported this incident to the Board of Dental Health Care. I strongly advise others to avoid this practice.

Positive experience: they were good at first once my braces came off they looked perfect but they took so damn long to get my retainer ready so now my teeth shifted back and now my retainer is ready and it has me pissed off! i payed 3k for these braces just for them to shift back this fast because they took that long to get my retainers ready i noticed some of my teeth shifting back not all of them but some this is absolutely ridiculous and a waste of money just for this to happen.

She explains the treatment plan in depth before proceeding and makes sure you understand the treatment plan prior to starting. She makes you feel safe and cared for. Positive experience: It was great to meet a dentist from Taiwan Dr. Christopher Lo and Luis Jon they did a good job with the procedures that needed to be done but I think they need to get some kinda way to get those x ray things they really made u wanna puke a few times I don't know need to make back part of it shorter or shorter.

Negative experience: Today was the second time this place has told me I was a month behind. I took care of it last year and now today they were trying to say I was another month behind. I had to go in there show on my bank statement and all of a sudden the payment I had made was not attached to my other payments, which I don’t know how that was my problem to me. That’s their computer system. Their staff whatever but yet they said we were hostile. I think that’s funny because when somebody’s trying to get an extra payment from you and you’re trying to explain and they’re not listening until you come with bank statement, they want to just still blame you and not take accountability on their mistake. I have brought so much business to this place. I have to find elsewhere. And then for them to say that my husband and daughter can leave because they didn’t want to fix their mistake and take a accountability and for them to be talking in front of everybody in that lobby like you guys are criminals nope that’s unprofessional and I told that lady they just need to take ownership and accountability that it was a messed up on their end but yet she was still putting the blame on us What a shame make sure you guys get receipts and always have your bank statement whenever making a payment to this place.

Negative experience: In the oficial page they say they close at 8:00pm, but I drove 40 minutes to pick up something, and they were closed at 7:20pm.

Negative experience: I am giving this place 1 star. I have had broken braces for months, I called to have them removed and they told me they can’t remove them until I make a payment In full. They already took me to collections for the payments: how do they expect people to survive with broken braces and pain in their mouth from broken brackets and wires poking them in the lip. Worse customer service ever. They said they would call me back and still no phone call from the manager.

Negative experience: This place has no costumer service skills. Everyone in there in so rude when they answer the phone! WORST place to get your braces. They do not care about their patients. Never fixed my overbite!

Negative experience: Where do I even start?? They messed up on our payment so many times. They messed up my filings and didn't listen when I told them my tooth cracked after one of the fillings, said it was ok, but then it broke... right where the crack was. Imagine that! The filings were uneven to the tooth. They gave me a quote for a series of dental work, then when it came time for the dental implant after the bone graft healed, they wanted $2k more for the implant that was supposed to be included in the original quote and was the last thing I really needed in the treatment plan. There's no way! They claimed it was never part of the quote but not mentioned when it was discussed at previous appointments with the staff to reiterate/confirm. The cancelations of appointments for my husband not even an hour before his appointments and then claiming to leave messages when there were no voicemail or missed calls from office, not to mention the confirmation text being sent just before his appointment. We're not returning to this office and will no longer recommend them to anyone.

Negative experience: I go to the eubank location and ALWAYS wait at least 30-45 minutes to be called back. I arrived 30-15 minutes early every time JUST in case they decided to call me on time but never once have they called me back on time. Always always 30-45 minutes after the scheduled time and they are always booked 4-5 months out so now reason to leave and “reschedule” because id have to wait another 4-5 months for it to happen again. I will praise the day I get these braces off and never have to come back

Negative experience: Initially my appt scheduled at 1:00 pm. Six other people showed up after me and were serviced before me. I watched the x-ray guy talk act immature to the so called new insurance billing person. Upon arrival I provided what I thought was my dental insurance card. I sat waited 45 minutes to be called in. I needed a new crown. X-rays were taken. I am sitting in the dental chair. X-ray boy walks in and takes X-rays walks out and says it's not the 80 's anymore. Was that comment on my behalf? I would really like to know? Dentists walks in look in my mouth explains to me that I have zero cavities.Newly promoted woman finally tells me my insurance card was invalid. At this point after watching all the child like behavior while waiting 45 minutes, the 80's comment, and my frustration built up to my gut telling me to walk out of there before they touch your mouth. Following week went to see Dentist Dr. Newsome at River point Family Dental told me I had a cavity under my crown. Grateful to the staff and Dr. Newsome for their honesty and their care. I feel the cavity could have become much more serious. I do NOT recommend Valer Dental for any dental work. Especially, crowns and I question the doctors integrity at Valero Dental.

Negative experience: Ellie or however you spell her name, answers very rudely, unprofessional and does not have any customer service skills. She kept over talking and would not listen to my concerns, she laughed at me while we were on the phone and I asked to speak to someone else and she said there was no one available. She is incapable of having any customer service skills and should not be answering the phones if she can’t assist and listen and apply the correct bill amount

Negative experience: Last orthodontic appointment for my granddaughter we waited more than 40 minutes past her appointment time to be seen which meant she missed more school than necessary. Today we went in for a dental cleaning based on a phone call from their office as well as a text message with date and time. When we arrived we were told there wasn’t a dentist in today. Front desk staff is always polite but it’s a VERY frustrating business to deal with.

Negative experience: Visited this location 2x once in the afternoon and second mid morning!. Both visits I waited for over an hour to be seen. I thought well as the day goes on I'm sure they fall behind so my next appoint I booked earlier. 2nd appointment was mid morning 11am! Checked in 15 mins prior as that is standard. Once again waited for over an hour for them to begin their work and that was only after I got up to ask what was taking so long! The dentist finally walks in and says “sorry about that I was in a meeting”.! Expect to be there for 2 hours for a 20 min visit! My insurance also covered 50% for 2 cavities my copay was 250$. I don't mind paying the copay but the wait time and experience was terrible! Maybe try not scheduling meetings during patient care time. My time is just as valuable as yours!

Negative experience: Worst experience, I got my braces done through valer after the treatment even after wearing my retainers my teeth seperate within the minute. I’ve been trying to get this fixed but everytime I set an appointment I show up and end up waiting 30-45 minutes past my scheduled time. Very cheap because you get what you pay for

Negative experience: Had a 3 o'clock first appointment and was told to show up early to do paperwork which I did. At 3:30 was apologized to and told I'll be called back next after which 3 other people were called back that arrived after me. Very unprofessional and unable to keep things timely. I walked out.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment to get my teeth cleaned yesterday. It was very busy and took a while to be seen but my hygienist. She cleaned my teeth better than I could have believed! I also had to wait a while for the doctor. They were very apologetic for the wait but both ladies were definitely worth the wait! Thank you ladies and your staff!

Negative experience: Had an appointment for emergency work at 5pm. Wasn’t even taken back into a room until after 6 and waited until 730 pm for someone to even come in and speak to me WITH NO WORK DONE. This is the second time I have experienced these ridiculous APPOINTMENT wait times for emergency work at this location. If you’re willing to spend your whole day here for work this is the place to do it.

Negative experience: I originally was really pleased with this place. However, after my surgery, I was in horrible pain, I was not given any pain relief, and when I tried calling the doctor that night, there was no answering service!!!! The number didn't work!!! I left a message on their voicemail, at both locations, and no one bothered to return my call or follow up or schedule a follow up for me. My tooth is very sharp, and is digging painfully in to my tongue- so much that I am in tears. I need it fixed... But I won't be going back to this place. Who wants to go to a doctor who doesn't return your calls or care? I am really disappointed. I was considering seeing them for all my dental needs, but now there is no way in hell.

Negative experience: The very unpleasant experience, product that I attended their facilities for a retainer for my teeth below and they never gave me a proof of warranty or an explanation of the product they were selling me. So much so that said product did not last a week that it broke and when it came back for a claim they make me pay $ 50 dollars more with the excuse that I do not have the mold, and I ask??? Did someone give me that explanation??? Did someone give me a document with these guidelines? So on top of that they made me feel like the culprit of the break of the retainers, I also had to pay $50 more than the $ 591 that I had already paid in short VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH A LITTLE GIRL CALLED VANESSA From the reception

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience with getting my daughter’s braces at the Westside location. After she got her braces off, she needed fillings and a retainer. I thought I was going to have to pay for the retainer and they informed me that there was no charge. This was such a relief for me, and they were so kind to do this. Amazing place to do business with, I cannot recommend them enough.

Negative experience: If I could leave a 0 Star I would!!!! We’ve been coming to this place for the past couple of months where my 13 year old son always goes in for his cleaning and braces routine, previous visits have been alright where he goes in and gets his cleaning done. This time he went in got his braces wired removed for him to get the cleaning done. An hour and 15 minutes go by and I go in to check on him to see how everything is goin just to find out he has been sleeping for the past 30 minutes. After asking them what had been done they said the X-rays, took them and hours and 15 minutes to do the X-rays, so yeah nothing but the X-rays were done in that hour and 15 minutes. My son’s appointment was scheduled 4:00 for cleaning and 5:00 for braces, yes we missed the 1st appointment for cleaning and still took him in for his braces, I never requested for him to be seen after we missed his cleaning appointment!! At the end of the day he didn’t get any done correctly in that hour and fifteen minutes. Only thing he got right was his nap & “xray”( actually not sure on the X-ray since when I asked what he had done in that whole hour all they said was “we’ve been waiting for the X-ray results” I would’ve rather him not being seen and have him re schedule since the beginning rather than waisting our time in side the office and get nothing done, after the hour and 15 minutes I took him and he had to get the braces wires put on, not even put on correctly because he was complaining of one side poking him. So at the end of the day it was all worthless since we must go back once again for the cleaning and now get the wires checked. What really throws me off is finding out that he was napping in the room by himself for :30 minutes or so. Who does that to their patients? Might as well re schedule them if you don’t have the staff to take care of them at the moment in the 1st place
