Fantastic experience: I loved the place and the staff they are incredibly nice and welcoming I definitely recommend people to come here, Mia is really friendly and makes you feel comfortable also does a great job with deep cleaning. I'm going to keep coming back the schedule is flexible and they work with you if needed to be seen sooner.

Fantastic experience: The staff and Dr. Howard were absolutely sweet and amazing! I’ve been dealing with severe mouth pain that another dentist and the hospital could not pin point. I called here after many places and they got me in within 30 minutes after hearing how much pain I was in. Dr Howard was determined to find the cause of my pain and hopefully his treatment does the trick! I have high faith in him and the team! I’ll definitely make this my primary dental care facility from now on.

Negative experience: First appointment as a new patient with them felt very rushed. I came in for a teeth cleaning and general check up as I hadn’t been to a dentist in years. My teeth were cleaned and then I was quoted 16,000$ for veneers as I was told my teeth desperately needed them because of bad enamel. (Thank god I got a second opinion as my teeth are perfectly fine.) The veneers wouldn’t be covered by my insurance, so I’d have to pay it out of pocket, and I felt extremely pressured to do this as soon as possible. I am on state insurance and there was no consideration for my financial situation/insurance other than offering a credit card and payment plans. I currently have no means for a payment plan or a credit card to begin with (Not to mention I would be denied if I were to try to apply for said credit card), and can’t do anything outside of what my insurance will pay for. I was also told to come in more times beyond what my insurance would pay for too, which furthered a feeling for no consideration for my financial situation and scam-like behavior. I then received a bill in the mail for my cleaning which hadn’t gone through my insurance yet. Why send me the bill BEFORE insurance was able to look at it?! It all felt very unprofessional, rushed, and inconsiderate. I will not be returning and recommend anyone on state insurance to look elsewhere. I personally went to Northwest Oral health in Kennewick and they were amazing.

Fantastic experience: I have worked in dental offices for 10 years, so I know how difficult it can be to work in a last-minute, emergency appointment - especially for a new patient. I had an ER situation - intense pain in tooth #13, which was broken to the gum line, coupled with visible swelling on the outside of my face becoming increasingly worse by the hour. I submitted an online request after hours on a Monday evening, explaining my symptoms & requesting an appointment. On Tuesday morning, I received a call from Mid Columbia Pasco’s office staff within an hour of them opening and they offered me to come in that very morning. I was in their chair by 10:30am. The office staff was absolutely incredible in all aspects - they prioritized my care both on the phone & in office, made me feel welcome, and promptly & accurately presented my treatment plan options with pricing, factoring in my insurance, and respecting my choices. Dr. Howard was outstanding - he performed the extraction of my infected tooth plus two fillings on separate teeth in the same quadrant as I was already numb in the area. I so appreciate that he took the time to diagnose & offered to complete all treatment I needed in my upper left quad, beyond the single tooth issue I came in for. He is gentle, thorough, & truly cares about his patients. Upon leaving the office staff made sure I was scheduled for a routine cleaning & exam and was able to get me in for that visit within 2 weeks, considering that I would need time to heal from my extraction. They also sent me home with after-care and made certain that my prescriptions were sent to my pharmacy. My emergency situation may have been painful, but I’m so very grateful that my unfortunate situation lead me to a fabulous dental office at Mid Columbia Pasco & respectable, caring provider in Dr. Howard. My experience was wonderful and I look forward many more!

Fantastic experience: I came in for a new patient exam and cleaning, and couldn’t be more happy with the experience. Daisy at the front desk is cheerful, welcoming, and fast-paced. I was immediately taken back and seen by Mia, who I can’t say enough about. Not only does she have the softest, gentle touch when doing a deep cleaning, but she is knowledgeable and able to explain in everyday terminology all of the details of my visit. Negative experience: Cleaning was super fast and great experience; however when I went back to do my feelings, my mouth was open for over 3 hours to so only jaw was hurting, the doctor kept coming in and out fixing one filling at a time. It took at least 4 hours at the dentist. The next day my jaw was hurting and my feeling felt like it was going to pop off when I floss. And when I bit down my teeth was aligning correctly

Fantastic experience: It's fine. Average dental. They made suggestions without scaning and X-ray. So without teeth root part skin or upper jaw conditions part. Only take Camera pic.and give me suggestion to remove teeth and do implant. I can't recommend why ? But I prefer save teeth. Insurance part. They don't take federal insurance. They even said I have prepay for federal insurance. Gave me billing is near 10,000 for two teeth remove and implant. I had 2 insurance , even using another insurance. I dont know how people can afford teeth problem by this situation. If sample start from me. Just a small test sample from my situation. Finger cross and good luck every body , hope everyone situation goes well.

I’ve been putting off getting my wisdom teeth removed for 7 years and this place made me feel safe enough to do it. They informed me on my medicine, gave me alternatives after knowing my heart problems, gave me information on all my medicines over the phone and through message, along with answered any questions I had without making me feel stupid, even applied lots of Vaseline when asked to the corners of my mouth so they didn’t crack(lol) Thank you to the whole team for caring enough to help those even with seemingly stupid questions from anxiety. I have to say they put me at ease. I felt very comfortable my first visit. Everyone is very friendly and I feel confidant they have my best interest. Negative experience: Horrible place. All they care about is money. Charge people without state insurance for every tiny thing they can. But don't tell you until after your appointment. Then send you a bill for more money they never told you about. Horrible people. Will never go back and have told every person I know to never go here.

Fantastic experience: I don't even know where to begin with how amazing and PAINLESS my visit was for a tooth extraction!! I woke up with tooth pain on January 2nd, 2024. Immediately went online to look for a dental office with great reviews and saw Mid Columbia Dental. They were able to get me in for a emergency xray and extraction same day. Dr. Howard and his entire team were so friendly and nice to me. I was worried about getting a needle to numb me but he assured me i will be okay and i told him that i trusted in whatever he thinks is the right way to go. The entire extraction was honestly quick and painless even the numbing i was so worried about wasnt hurtful at all. i barely felt the needle!! Overall 10/10 would recommend anyone to come here . This is my new dental office !

Negative experience: Normally good experiences, but today I had a different hygienist and boy was she aggressive. I left my visit feeling my heart beat in my gums. She told me she had to use pressure because she had to remove some stains that were left there from my previous visit. Strangely after letting her know she was being aggressive, she managed to finish removing those stains with a more gentle hand. I hope she slows down a little. If I have her again for some reason, I will be rescheduling my appointment!

Fantastic experience: Haven't been to a dentist in over 18 years, I was afraid of being judged or told I was ignoring my health, etc then of course the pain was another concern. Instead I experienced a judgement free experience and in all honesty felt no pain. Had an infected, broken, and incredibly painful wisdom tooth and it took less than an hour for the whole experience from entry to exit.

And Dr. Howard was just as wonderful with a great plan of action to take care of treatments that I need and did such a wonderful job explaining and educating me on what needs to happen and why. And then their assistant Valentina was also wonderful at articulating the breakdown of prices and appointments coming up next. Negative experience: Edit: They charge $48 for mouthwash, push for and/or buy positive reviews, and then lie about it in passive-aggressive responses to Google reviews. You've been warned. They use gift cards and raffles to get people to review 5 stars. They try to trick you into buying mouthwash for 4x its retail value. They do not listen to your concerns or questions. You're just there to sell Invisalign and CloSys to at huge markups, and to give them a good review on Google. That's it. Here's how my visit went: The first thing the assistant said to me when I got in was "Hi! You look great! You should give us an excellent review!", and then mentioned the raffles they do for reviews. They had a large TV that was on display for a prize in the lobby. No less than three times was I asked to leave "an excellent review" during my visit. The dentist himself got in, and said I'd be given Invisalign for $6000 unprompted. He then dismissed my question about gum swelling and said "just use mouthwash" when pressed, after I told him I already use mouthwash. When I told him I also wouldn't be doing the $6000 procedure he told me they could take $500 off and then left. The assistant came back in and told me they would be giving me some special mouthwash and toothpaste to take back with me. I got to the front desk and was told I'd need to sign some papers for the $6000 Invisalign, and again I told them I wasn't going to be doing it. The person behind the front desk understood, and then told me I still needed to pay for the mouthwash and toothpaste. "What?" I asked, because I'd never been charged for mouthwash or toothpaste at a dentist before. The total was $60: $48 for the mouth wash and $12 for the toothpaste. I said no. The assistant came back to tell me if I didn't like it I could come back and they'd refund me. I said no again, they kept trying to pressure me, and when the assistant stepped away I simply left. That mouthwash, by the way, is $12 at Wal-Mart. It's CloSys 32 fl oz. They tried charging me 4x the price for mouthwash that I could go down the street and get for $12. The toothpaste is $8 normally. Response to owner: In the owner's response they claim I wasn't quoted $48, which is a lie. Interesting that their go-to is to gaslight. Their response is a bizarre passive-aggressive allegory to non-medical services, like tires and hair styling. They compare their *medical service* to something as simple as getting a haircut. Not entirely inaccurate, because a haircut is also completely cosmetic, and I wouldn't pay $6000 for it. This person's strange response boils down to: "That didn't happen." "And if it did it wasn't a big deal." "And if it was, then just get over it and go somewhere else!" By comparing themselves to a shop like Sports Clips, they subtly downplay their responsibility in the medical field to provide the best good-faith service they can. They knew I could not simply go somewhere else, as my insurance only covers yearly cleaning, so they tried to nickel and dime me. They are not honest, and do not operate (or respond to criticism) in good faith. Instead of treating me like a patient, they spent the entire appointment peddling Invisalign I didn't need, brushing off my concerns in a hurry, trying to beg(?) me to leave an "excellent review" with sweepstakes and raffles, and then finally trying to overcharge me for mouthwash and toothpaste. And you DID try to overcharge me. Your line "no, we never charged $48 for it. You were quoted less than half that for the CloSys" is a lie. The mouthwash you tried to sell me was $48, and the toothpaste you tried to sell me was $12. You are lying. A bizarre reaction to outright lie about this; the other negative reviews calling out workers here for trying to gaslight them make a lot more sense now. Many insurance plans only allow you to visit the dentist once, maybe twice a year for a cleaning. If you have any dental concerns, this is your one chance to get answers. I wasted my visit by going to Mid-Columbia Dental, because I was fooled by the tricks they use to get good reviews.
