Fantastic experience: My first time. I had 12 uppers removed. The dentist Worked hard . The back were harder. A little painful but expected. The Teamwork made the Dream Work.

Negative experience: The wait time is horrible my appointment was at 9:30 and didn’t get in the back until 11 am not to mention I called previously to advise my job insurance doesnt give us insurance cards and that my insurance plan is normally looked up by my name and social the front desk person gave me a hassle insisting I had a card which I did not . Any dentist office I been to once I said I had delta dental they were able to look me up in the system and find my plan . I been trying to go somewhere close to my home but each time I come to this office my experience is horrible I will not be returning

Negative experience: Used to be a patient there. I need an emergency extraction for failed root canal causing infection. I call prior to coming and said I don't have insurance and will be paying out of pocket lady with an accent said it would be around 140 for an extraction, just to arrive there for them to tell me it's 400 something out off pocket terrible communication and very unfortunate for me i have infection leaking out in body and this the bull I gotta deal with.

Negative experience: It was not clean in the waiting area or in the back we were waiting way past our time

Fantastic experience: Dr Gray is the best I was terrified to get my tooth pulled but Dr Gray calmed me all the way down ,he was so compassionate . He also did an Awesome jJob didn’t feel anything..

Negative experience: Don’t go here!!! I’ve been a patient here for years and the wait times are longer than ever during every single visit. Today was the last time for me because they had me waiting in the waiting for over and hour and a half. They forgot I signed in, they forgot I had an appointment, they had me come to the back to be seen then told me that one dentist had to do 7 fill ins for a patient and could I wait an additional 2 or more hours. Then said the other Dentist just left before I came to the back and asked me did I want to reschedule. Also, after I waited for over an hour and a half, they asked why didn’t I say something because my appointment wasn’t in the system, asked me what my name was and date of birth. Be mindful that I was in the system, had the appointment confirmation and they still forgot about me and said my bad. I will never go back there again!!! ‍♂️

Negative experience: I am submitting this complaint regarding an unprofessional and discriminatory encounter with Dr. Jamal Brown. During my visit, Dr. Brown engaged in a verbal disagreement with me and displayed irate, rude, and discriminatory behavior. His tone and conduct were inappropriate and made me feel disrespected and uncomfortable. In addition, his interactions with the front desk staff were also unprofessional, as he was rude and argumentative with them as well. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed and addressed promptly, as this behavior is unacceptable in a professional healthcare environment

Fantastic experience: My visit was surprisingly excellent and the dentist was very pleasant knowledgeable and experienced made the process easier. The staff was very pleasant as well.

Negative experience: Went in for a routine cleaning, was told filling was lose, pulled old filling out, put in new filling, that fell out 3 days later,

Fantastic experience: I was in extreme pain and I was able to get same day emergency visit and everybody was so amazing and so delicate thank you so much will be coming back again.

Negative experience: -0 for today, November 11, 2025 on my only day off from frontline healthcare!! Totally unacceptable wait times!!!!! I had an appointment at 10:30 am and waiting patiently until 2pm and was never called or acknowledged, so I left! I had to walk up to verify that was I was indeed checked in and no explanation was given regarding the delay. I will attempt to retry this office and provide an update on my next visit. I am using employer based insurance, so thank god that I have other.in-network providers that gladly accept my insurance.

Negative experience: They need to hire someone else to answer the phones the young lady was very rude and unprofessional

Fantastic experience: I seriously hate going to the dentist but today was an amazing experience. The front desk personnel were so sweet and helpful! And our Dr was so gentle and kind! And the wait time was very short considering we had done a walk-in!!! All in all I’ll definitely be using this location for further maintenance of my teeth!

Fantastic experience: They fixed my broken teeth in no time! The dentist took his time to explain the process to me. The numbing injections felt like a pinch. The staff were so comforting and friendly throughout the process! Easiest 5 -star!

Fantastic experience: I love Dental Dreams and they make you feel good and they don’t play about you getting your smile back. The ladies at the front desk are so nice. The dentist assistant’s are very pleasant and helpful. The African American Dentist he’s my favorite. He’s so kind, caring, and he’s makes me feel so comfortable. And he tell you step by step what he’s going to do next. Dental Dreams -Belair keep up the good work.

Fantastic experience: I love Dental Dreams they are very professional and always greet you with a smile.

Positive experience: The work of the doctor and nurses is fine but the front desk doesn't seem to know much about insurance questions and if they do, I can't tell. They scheduled me anyway for a procedure that requires approval after I asked twice. Be sure to get any prescriptions sent before you leave because twice mine were not sent after the doctor promised he would not forget and went to the next person's procedure. When I called the next day to have it sent I was told I couldn't get it until the doctor returns 6 days later.

Negative experience: Poor services.. Appointment was for 2 didn't get seen until 3:30. The staff tried using adult X Ray products in my 7-year-old's mouth because they had no more children X X-ray slide discs. . Very dirty poor rating and this is all they have for the black community

Negative experience: Arrived at 1:10 for my 1:30 appointment only to be told it'll be an hour wait (I've already been here 40 minutes) and if I leave they'll give my appointment away. The waiting room is packed full of screaming children and people waiting. The only reason I took this appointment is that the other place I called told me they didn't have an appointment for at least 2 months out, now I see why this place had an appointment open the next week. DO NOT COME HERE!

Positive experience: My daughter and husband both had a dental appointment on Saturday, September 13th 2025. One for 9am and the other for 930am. Once we were checked in and paperwork completed the receptionist called my husband to the desk to tell him that it was an issue with his insurance card which has never happened. We have been using the same insurance company since we been coming to this dental office. She made it seem like she wanted him to call the company to check for coverage once we kept telling her that nothing was wrong on our end. She finally called and said oh it’s good it’s because they over on the West Coast which didn’t make any sense. Then we overheard them saying that they couldn’t call any patients back yet because they didn’t have any assistant’s come in yet but they were on the way. By this time it was 9:45am past both my husband and daughter appointments. Assistant’s finally came in and they were seen and we were out of there around 11:15am. They are getting worse and worse every time. I been going to Dental Dreams for 4yrs now but ready to just give them up.

Fantastic experience: I hate going to the dentist’s, but this dental office is the best. Dr.Greg was the best and so professional. The staff was also so kind and helpful.

Positive experience: I arrived on time for my appointment and completed all the required paperwork, but ended up waiting about 35 minutes in the lobby while several people who came in after me were seen first. During my cleaning, the front desk staff came into the room to ask about my insurance information, which felt a bit unprofessional since I had already submitted everything beforehand and had been waiting long enough for that to be clarified earlier. The cleaning itself was fine—nothing terrible, but not especially thorough either. The doctor was friendly and personable, which I appreciated, but overall the experience fell short of expectations.

Negative experience: Horrible nightmare never ever go here again surgeons suck and front desk staff are rude one is nice but the other one is very rude. Dental assistants are cool and caring

Negative experience: The worst dentist you sit there and wait for them to tell you the doctor your originally had is leaving for the day and now have to wait for another one and the wait time is unknown. That’s ridiculous you set an appointment for a reason to sit here for hours than be told you may not be seen that’s crazy and very inconsiderate and they don’t care because it’s not them.

Positive experience: I always have a good experience at Dental dreams. All of the dentist that I have encountered, have an excellent bedside matter and are extremely knowledgeable in their field of dentistry. The first dentist that I encountered there was Dr. May who was nothing but a pleasure however he’s no longer there. My current dentist is Dr. Gray, whose bedside manner is excellent as well. They make you feel very comfortable. I wouldn’t change the dentist if you paid me

Negative experience: I can give it no stars because their professionals are very very poor and the staff needs to learn or train to how to clean patients teeth just to get in and get out to enjoy the rest of our days because one dentist doctor can’t work with other patients in one time and that’s how to keep people’s waiting forever even if your early bird, early, a little late or very late. If you want to keep your business going and make customers happy, hire more people or work with you got if you still have employees.

Negative experience: All the staff were nice enough, but the wait time was insane. Brought my 6 year old daughter in just to get a second opinion. We had an 11am appointment and didn't see the dentist until after 1pm! I asked if that wait is typical, and they said yes. Turned out that there was only one dentist, and based on the sign-in sheet they book 4-5 patients with the same appointment time, and then they also take walk-ins.

Negative experience: Horrible wait times our appt was at 2:00pm I arrived at 1:56pm I was not called in the back until 3:20 this is horrible service and I had to ask the front desk what was taking so long that's when they finally called us back, stating the Dr. Just finished. I understand practices get busy but an hour wait. It's ridiculous and so unprofessional. I've walked in before without an appointment and was seen A lot sooner than with an appointment. This facility needs to do better. I am taking my child elsewhere.

Negative experience: Staff was just ok. They did not set my appointment with the right doctor. I truly miss the old staff they were so much better and knowledgeable with their job. When you have a set appointment time you should not have to wait more than 15 minutes before being seen. It took me 2 hours or longer that is unacceptable

Positive experience: Looking wait time. I was told the clinic goes based on sign-in, which is counterproductive to the appointment system if you ask me. Haven't had any procedures yet, but Dr. Tab seems knowledgeable...... fingers crossed!

Negative experience: I had to wait 45 mins before being seen and I had an appointment. People came in after me and were being led to a room. It wasn't until I asked for the office manager before I was brought in to a doctor. Though I watched staff walking around doing nothing.

Negative experience: waiting 2 1/2 hours for a dentist appointment is actually RIDICULOUS and the excuse of “too many appointments” does not justify such a long wait time. i’m actually disgusted

Negative experience: I had an appointment at 330pm and was not called to the back until 5pm for me and my kids. They do not ask you your name dob when u go to the back they just call your name at the front. The dentist saw cavity on my child teeth and did not seal them. The dentist did a half job on my teeth cleaning he just cleaned a few teeth I will never return again

Fantastic experience: Thanks Dental Dreams- Belair for allowing us to make such a quick appointment. My Son, Troy seems so Relieved after one of his teeth was pulled this afternoon. I was so excited for him I forgot to take a picture. We will definitely be back.

Negative experience: Wait times are always super long, even with an appointment. At least an hour and a half in the waiting room (which is always packed and sometimes standing room only) just waiting to be taken to the back. Then another 45 minutes at least, sitting in the chair waiting for the dentist! The room they put me in hadn't even been cleaned up from the previous patient. The dentist I had rushed through my care. My "Cleaning" didn't even take 5 minutes!! It's hit or miss at the Belair Rd location. I had a dentist here previously that was absolutely amazing, but she's no longer there. The location is convenient for me - and in a shopping center with Dollar General, Forman Mills, Beauty supplies store and a grocery mart. Plenty of parking and MTA bus stop right at the entrance to the shopping center. The best thing about this place, is the location. Only be seen here if you have no other options!

Negative experience: My experience was not that great They need to get better at being organized. Everytime i have an appointment, I never get seen until 3 or 2 hrs later which is unexceptable. My appointment be at 10 and I not getting seen until 12 or 1

Negative experience: We should have listened to all the reviews from the last 2-3 weeks. We had an appointment for 12p and even received a confirmation text the day before. We took off work and took our son out of school to be there. They told us that they had to cancel the appointment because the doctor was out and that they tried calling us, but we received no email, no text message and no voicemail about a cancellation. We waited an hour and a half because they said they might be able to get us in at 1 PM… We left at 1:45 because they said there were still two people in front of us. A complete waste of a day. We understand things come up, we really would have appreciated if they had at least emailed or called us, letting us know ahead of time.

Negative experience: Had an appointment waited over an hour and 1/2 to be serviced. The staff didn’t inform anyone about the long wait or offer an alternative. Also the patients wasn’t give an apology or acknowledgment for waiting patiently.

Negative experience: Had a appointment for 10:00, arrive 09:45. Was not seen until after 12:00. The staff was very aggressive when taking xray of my grandson mouth. I asked her what was her name and she refused to share this information. Went to the front desk and asked what was the female name and they refused as well. Very unprofessional place.

Negative experience: This place is ridiculous . I had to sit for 2 hours before being seen when I had an appt . Then once I get to the back the doctor that was supposed to be doing all my fill-ins gonna state he not worried bout the top of my mouth bc I stated I was looking to maybe getting veneers. He states ohh the person that’s gonna do them are gonna shave ya teeth down like sir I didn’t say I was getting them anytime soon. I let him know I still need my top done why would u have me walking around without my front fixed that’s the most important to me then the back . Now I’m walking around wearing a face mask bc teeth can be very embarrassing n to not do the work when my insurance covers the other fill ins is crazy to me . They need to just shut down bc they are very unprofessional .

Negative experience: The Service i received today on 3/3/25 was absolutely horrible. My appt was at 11:30 i arrived at 11:00 didn’t get check in until 12:30pm kept asking the ladies up from how long the wait being as though i had a 2:30 appt else where. Kept getting the run around and brushed off didn’t get called to the back till 1:15pm the Dr was just as rude and unprofessional as the ladies up front. All that time i sat up front waiting to be called to the back my copay wasn’t taking till i got in the chair in the back which the doctor didn’t start till that was completed. The 2 techs that work with the Dr was the only nice encounter of my visit. I will no longer be coming back there at all what so every the professionalism sucks an i work in a Dr’s office . PLEASE DONT CALL OR INQUIRE AbBOUT ME FOLLOWING UP BECAUSE IM NOT.

Negative experience: arrived early for my appointment at 2pm. waited until 5pm. dentist spent about 4 minutes on my teeth cleaning, spraying my face with water for good measure. i don't even think he polished every tooth. i felt like a joke was being played on me and i had to stop myself from laughing in the chair.

Fantastic experience: Great Dentist. I have been here about ten times or so over the past 1 1/2years and I have always had a good experience. You are in great hands with Dr. Patel. Made me feel at ease when I really stressed out about getting all the work I needed to get done. Thank you so much. They accept medicaid dental insurance as well which was a blessing.

Fantastic experience: All of the staff at Dental Dreams in Belair have always been professional and kind to me. They are that way when I call and when I have an appointment. The care that I get there is the best. Doing this time in the world today it is so wonderful to be cared about. They are the best. On yesterday, 9/4/24, I had another appointment at Dental Dreams. All that I can say to them from the receptionists to the dentist is thank you. The care and concern that they give to me is greatly appreciated. Today 1/23/2025 I had to do a walk in visit and I still received the best service ever.

Negative experience: I had arrived before my scheduled 3:30 appointment, and as a returning patient and referred due to my current dental care need. I was triaged within 30 minutes and placed in an exam chair. I then waited from 3:25 to 4:20 pm and no one came to check, and I packed myself up and left. No doctor or anyone else came to check on me and I was allowed to just leave without a consult.

Negative experience: Rude front desk staff that also don’t know how the dental field works. I worked in the dental field 20 yrs. I called to schedule a first time appointment with a issue so she makes the appointment and then I ask her what does the appointment entails because I also had a crown come off from eating candy she says you have to go back to the doctor (in Florida navy base) to recement a crown. I said ma’am I have never in my life heard of such an I worked in the field 20 years. She tells me well here we don’t do it and she hung up. Clearly she thinks low of her dentist that he can’t even recement a crown. I can see if he or she exams and says the crown came off for whatever underlining reason and gets the money for the root crown or new crown my ppo insurance pays for existing teeth and my crown is over 10 yrs old. But whatever probably why they are located in an area where they make the least amount of money because there staff doesn’t know how to close the patient lol.

Fantastic experience: Very good service and easy registration! Most dental offices don't have Saturday hours but this one does. My teeth cleaning service was very thorough. and there was very little wait time.

Negative experience: They do good work, but customer service skills has to improve. The attitudes are childish and every office I call doesn't want to call in for a referral because reception is rude to them. That's not good have some professionalism. Update. Recently found out I was told by Dental Dreams to get a root canal. Got it done just to find out, I didn't need a root canal. My gum line is receeding. Don't appreciate being misinformed by supposed experts in a field.

Fantastic experience: We love it at dental dreams- belair. It's always clean and staff is very welcoming and friendly.. Most times they have gift baggies for the kids. The doctor's always answers any questions I may have and the wait is never too long. They also offer a play room for the little ones.I recommend dental dreams - belair to All of my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: I wasn’t seen for over an hour & had to catch the Dr to tell him my appointment was only to take an impression & the secretary said there were several patients before me. I was about to leave bcuz I had another appointment. He did then fit me in!

Negative experience: Appointment was 10am. Called in the back at 10:45am. Dr. Talked to me at12:15pm to inform me that I needed a deep cleaning that has to be approved. It will take 4 weeks for a response from my insurance company. Call back then for results to make an appointment. POOR SERVICE!!!

Negative experience: I've been waiting for a hour and a half past my visit time. They said the doctors are behind that's not my problem. And also poor Customer Service. I asked to speak to a manager who all the sudden was in a meeting.

Fantastic experience: 5/5 experience !As someone who’s worked in the dental profession for 9 years I wanted to try a dental office other than work, I want to this dental office and it was both clean, and professional. The front office staff was very professional and attentive to the insured and uninsured which was very nice to see . The back office was just as great ; very thorough and trained in chair side manner , and taking quality x-rays with minimal exposure, great job! The dentist is a great example of patient flow , he took his time with me , created a treatment plan for work I’ll need and gave me a really good cleaning . I recommend this dental office to anyone who may have had a bad experience; the dentist is very gentle and patient . Also wait times are normal for any dental office I didn’t mind the wait because I know some procedures can take longer then others , it was a 2 hour wait but you have to be mindful it’s a office that offers walk ins, in any kind of facility we all have to be mindful that sometimes we just have to be more patient, this is a really good office and wait times are subject to change ,I’m 100% happy with my treatment . check them out! Negative experience: The waiting process is TERRIBLE! The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because a few of the employees are nice. I waited 3 1/2 hours to be seen with an appointment. Just to get in the back and wait even longer

Negative experience: I visited this office twice, in March and November, for dental cleanings with Dr. Ben. Both times, the cleanings were rushed and incomplete, taking less than 10 minutes after a 2-hour wait. I had to guide him on how to clean my teeth, and water was sprayed on my face despite my repeated complaints. Based on the reviews, I had high expectations but was disappointed each time. Medicaid patients deserve the same respect and care as anyone else. This experience has lost them my business.

Negative experience: Today was my second time going to the office for my appointment do not go to that location the are always backed up and you will not be seen on time they will have you waiting for hrs they keep scheduling ppl the same time and they do not communicate with you so i advise you not do book a appointment at this location

Negative experience: Very unprofessional and unorganized. My appointment was at 12pm today I arrived at 11:30am did all my paperwork and gave them my id and insurance card. I sat there patiently waiting to be called in the back I noticed it was 1:15 p.m. I approached the front desk and asked the receptionist what was going on why was I waiting so long she went in the back and checked and told me I was being called next. The young lady from the back that was calling patients came out and called someone else and she noticed I was still sitting there and asked the front desk who was out there to see at that point that's when the women at the front desk said that my chart was placed in the wrong place a set back down patiently waited three more people were called ahead of me at that point I asked them what is the problem I was told that I was being called next and still haven't been called in the back that's when they told me I'm seeing a different doctor at that point I was very irritated and was in the process of missing my next appointment so I asked him to just remove me off their appointment sheet and I walked out. This was a complete waste of my time and I really didn't appreciate it
