Fantastic experience: Wow! What a refreshing experience. I have neglected going to the dentist for years because of past bad experiences, but today Bright Smile Dental really changed that for me. I had such a wonderful experience with every single staff member, from picking up the phone to make the initial appointment yesterday, to them being able to fit me in today and throughout the care provided today, i 100% recommend this dental practice. They took their time and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and heard. I have never experienced anything like this before, i was so afraid of going, but those fears quickly subsided after how wonderfully i was treated. i know after today I’ve found my dentist for life! Thank you all so much for everything!

Negative experience: AVOID THIS OFFICE AT ALL COST. I'm writing this review on behalf of my aunt who is almost 80 years old. This is a short version because the long version is too upsetting to read and post here. Following is what you should expect if you decide to do new dentures based on my aunt's experience with Dr. Vera: 1) you will not get what you paid for ($4.5K for dentures, while she is trying to sell you dental implants for the total price of $14.5K during each appointment even if you tell her during first appointment that you don't want it and cannot afford it) 2) you will end up with a product that causes mouth soars due to the poor quality and/or unfinished product which doctor might fix but ONLY for additional price ($100 per adjustment) after specific number of adjustments without telling customer that number exists 3) you will get charged at least 55% more than other dental offices charge that are a few blocks away 4) don't trust solicited or possibly fake reviews as described in reviews by other customers with one star review with proof that include pictures 5) don't trust doctor's smiles nor bait and switch mantras "adjustments included in price of dentures", "come in any time, you don't need appointment" and "we never abandon our customers". 6) don't trust the office with high staff turnover There are other reasons why to avoid this office including physical and emotional pain based on my aunt's experience but too many to mention without going into details. Resources to contact in case of encountering similar issues: 1) File a claim in a small court for $20 or less (most of the time case can be filed within a year of service provided) 2) NYC Department of Consumer Protection and Consumer Assistance Hotline 3) Attorney General of New York office: File complaint online or call OAG Help Line I'll not allow for my aunt to return to this office because it might cause her additional physical and mental anguish. As described above, if you've paid for work that remains incomplete, there are several avenues you can pursue to recover your payment.

Our team does not abandon patients, and we do our best to accommodate adjustments. In this case, Dr. Vera discussed adjustment charges moving forward, due to an astronomically high number of visits.
We recommended implants as a more stable and comfortable solution. However, we always respect the patient’s preferences and work to provide the best care possible.
Fantastic experience: I’m really impressed with this facility! The dentists are exceptionally attentive, and the staff is always polite and welcoming. Prices are very affordable, and if you ever need something urgent, you can almost always get an appointment as soon as the next day. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I can’t thank Dr. Vadim enough he save my tooth and save my smile. I had an unfortunate emergency happen with my teeth. It was my first time at the office and Dr. Vadim office was heaven sent. He was very professional and caring, gentle and painless. He has master his work with 30 years experience. One of my front tooth veneer came out while eating and there was other concerns that needed to be addresse and Dr. Vadim went to work working his magic! I had to get a bone grap, did a root canal to make room for an implant and clean out an infection in my gum. He also save my veneer tooth. The environment was clean and staff are angels too and gentle with care. They made me feel comfortable and they are caring and gentle. Lika did the finish touch with my adjustments on my bite to feel more comfortable as well. Thank you Dr. Vadim and staff I am much appreciated to you all! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: I and my wife would like to express big thanks for Dr. Vadim Khrakovsky, Dr. Vera Khrakovsky of Bright Smile Dental office for their outstanding services. They are very experienced and patients oriented, listening carefully to identify the exact problem, explain different options of treatments and payments. We went through the painless procedures of implants and crowns installation multiple times already and we're very happy and comfortable with them. Fantastic experience: First time at this Dental office and excellent service. My cleaning was amazing lightened my teeth by two shades. Olga the dental hygienist was excellent and very information, she even showed me the correct way to floss and told me the crucial tools I would need to take care of my teeth. Inna the assistant was so sweet and kind and made me feel super comfortable upon my initial intake and during X-rays and scanning. Dr. Vera, noticed I have a large cavity and tackled it right away with a stable and proactive treatment plan to make me feel happy with my smile again. It’s the season to believe after all isn’t it? Which is it now? you don’t currently have an Oxana working for you or specifically answering phones? Well, lucky For you as well as me… We both know you have logs of all the phone calls that you record! You know, how you been doing it so you can record every interaction to ensure EXCEPTIONAL care to all your patients. Except me, I suppose… because according to “Oksana” there were no Doctors or coordinators available to speak to… allegedly they were all on the phone! Very exceptional, I must say. Well either your phone receptionist is lying to patients about her name, or perhaps another 2-week new hire who was too afraid to provide her real name in fear of retaliation you would bring swiftly for conducting business not by your standard. Once more, Yes this review is undoubtedly intended for Bright Smile Dental and I will kindly keep it here where I intended… Ya know to ensure ‘Accuracy’ as you succinctly put it. Your practice is committed however… Committed to making sure the married Doctors hit all their quotas, and 10s of thousands in dollars for their deadlines so they can hop on back down to Florida for the holidays! SEEING IS BELIEVING. And I’m sure that is wonderful while the young women, one of which whom you called stupid when they hadn’t worn your inaccurate and overpriced Invisalign. Invisalign is highly effective right? Guess you cut your accuracy spending on her pair. Oh no you forgot to order them. So committed that Dr. Vera is! So please check your phone recordings to ensure customer satisfaction if you satisfy clients by hanging up on them. I’ll be coming by the office in the future. Hope you’re there working. Thank you so much & next time you’re going to lie on a public forum Why don’t you check if the other person doesn’t keep records also because that’s a lot of calls in a short period of time I made

Fantastic experience: I found myself at Bright Smile Dental Brooklyn after an upsetting visit to a highly rated Manhattan dental office, where the doctor needed a second opinion and no specialist (endodontist) was available in-house. I was told I’m facing a potential tooth loss and thousands of dollars in replacement. I decided to find a Russian doctor and I’m so happy I did! Dr Victor is AMAZING! He has shown himself to be knowledgeable and highly professional and he offered a simpler solution to the issue that I thought I will be dealing with for months. He did a fantastic job and not only I’m back to do more restoration but I m telling all my friends about it. Amazing assistants Slava and Lena and all the stuff in the office is extremely courteous and charming and make you feel well taken care of. I highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I been coming here for over a year and a half and everybody is super friendly. From the staff at the desk and the doctors. Dr. Pop, Dr. Anetta and Dr. Vera are all caring. The space is always clean and welcoming. They make me feel taking care off and put me at ease. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone.

Negative experience: I write reviews for only three reasons : if the experience has been impeccable and I feel greatly inclined to do so, or if my experience with a business was unpleasant. The third is for the core objective which is to provide future customers/ clients with an objective and realistic perspective that is based on a number of factors. Unfortunately, this review is one based off a a great experience that ended poorly. Fast forward to July 29, 2023. I was interested in getting a dental treatment and decided to give Bright Smile Dental my business again. The receptionists were very flexible with rescheduling my appointments as unheralded time constraints resulted in me having to be seen at another date. The appointment day was smooth and the two staff members who did my scans to assess my eligibility for the treatment were sweet and pleasant. However, at the last point of my treatment with Dr. Popandopoulo, the former did not completely apply. Although knowledgeable and candid, when explaining why I would not be a suitable candidate for the treatment, he had presented himself as arrogant, condescending in tone and judgmental manner with his approach. His body language was also consistent with such. Dr. Popandopoulo’s demeanor was one akin to one who recently completed their residency and landed their first role as a provider with an inflated air of “confidence”. A referral was provided which I immediately discarded. Being knowledgeable, but lacking customer service etiquette when you work in a CUSTOMER FACING environment cancels out whatever experience you may hold. I am also a medical professional and I ALWAYS pride myself in giving every patient that I service impeccable customer service and optimal treatment that they can rely on as we are all customers somewhere. This is what I would expect when I am a customer but not the provider in any case. Dr. Popandopoulo failed IMMENSELY to meet that mark. I was momentarily taken aback by his unprofessionalism, but then reminded myself that how people treat others is a reflection of their self and how they may regard their self accordingly. While I could have checked him, it was not worth it. My experience with Dr. Popandopoulo was what ruined the rest of my visit at Bright Smile Dental. Confidence is great but get real. While I am willing to make a great investment into my health, I will be doing so elsewhere and if I have to travel further for that, I will do just that. Your staff are the face of your business and customers are the backbone of any business! UPDATE 11/23: Check those bills that arrive in your mail. I learned that they overcharged me $90 for a treatment. We are guilty of not checking correspondence from our insurance companies, but that day I had a nagging instinct to do so. I called my insurance to confirm the aforementioned and was correct. I sent them an email and followed up. All they did was offer a paltry apology and sorry excuse for doing so, really? I gave them another chance after dealing with unpleasant and unprofessional staff at that practice, but I regret doing so. There are other reviews that confirms that BSD are money hungry so read those of you don’t believe me (and I have receipts). The incentivized reviews that other reviewers have commented on are also factual. If you value your health, do not entrust Bright Smile Dental with it. I am currently with another provider who are professional and transparent. Again, my reviews are always honest, objective, reasonable and provide as much relevant detail as possible as there are many businesses who attempt to solicit their customers for five star reviews in an effort to attract more business. Besides, who doesn’t appreciate a reliable and clear review?

Fantastic experience: I have never been a fan of going to the dentist, so I decided to try one within walking distance based on reviews. Dr. Vera is very straightforward, extremely skilled and is a ninja with a needle (I seriously barely ever felt the anesthesia needle!). I also paid out of pocket, so despite the costs, it was amazing having equally kind and talented in the billing department- Huge 'Thank You' to Diana in the Billing Department. Will be going back!

Negative experience: Money hungry and very misleading when you speak to these front desk people. They will get you there and then hit you with bills, they are out of network for the most part so they will find a way to make you pay $$$$$$ so don’t get caught out there. They want to over charge your insurance company plus make you pay out of pocket. Scammers!!!!!
