Fantastic experience: Update June 2022: We had such a great experience with our boys 2 years ago, that we brought our daughter. Thompson Orthodontics did a fantastic job with her teeth. We love Thompson Orthodontics! Our son's teeth look amazing. Dr Thompson is amazing and kind, as is everyone at the office. The office has recently had flooring and seating re-done, and is even more beautiful and comfortable than before. Would highly recommend! Update Sep 2024 My turn this time! Overall, I'm very happy with how my teeth turned out! Dr. T is very considerate and kind, as are all of the staff. My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it took a lot longer than originally estimated. I started out in Invisalign. Was supposed to be in them for 12-15 months. I wore them very consistently, but after a couple of years, Dr. T switched me to clear braces. I'm still not sure why the Invisalign didn't work, but I'm grateful for the clear braces and that my teeth look so much better!

Fantastic experience: Thompson Orthodontics has been amazing to work with ! We have had multiple kids go through treatment with them and they have all enjoyed the experience. They make it fun for the kids, have great quality treatment and it’s affordable. We can’t praise them well enough. No one wants braces but if you do need them start here! You won’t regret it

Fantastic experience: Dr. Thompson is so great with kids and takes really good care of their teeth. He takes the time to explain how each phase of the process of getting braces and addresses all the concerns. The process is really simple and a breeze. Love his "beach theme" office and rewards. All the hygienists are so knowledgeable and nice as well. I've had both my kids, one with braces and one with invislign, and both of them have nice straight teeth and great smiles now. Would recommend their orthondontic office to everyone!

Fantastic experience: We love, Thompson orthodontics! They have a great incentive program for the children to take care of the teeth and reward them by giving them beach bucks which they can buy gift cards. Dr. Thomas can glance at my daughters teeth and know right away what action he wants to take to get her teeth in the right position. Fantastic experience: My daughter just got her braces off today, and Thompson Orthodontics did such a great job! I love that they didn’t rush too fast to take them off, but they also didn’t waste her time by doing it too slowly… everyone in the office is so kind and helpful and they are so good at explaining each procedure they are doing, which really helps with kids uneasiness… we would recommend everyone we know to go to Thompson!

Fantastic experience: Phase 1 ortho success. I’ve brought 2 of my kids in for phase 1 early ortho. Dr. T helped correct crowding and cross bites and under bites in 2 of my kids. This helped set the stage for more optimal placement and grow-in for the adult teeth to have room and better alignment for them to grow in properly. I love that Dr.T at Thompson orthodontics uses expansion, and modern technology for expanding the growth and space of the palate for all the teeth to fit into the mouth. He never used headgear or removing adult teeth. Friendly helpful office staff. We love the motivational beach bucks rewards program where they earn bucks toward gift cards for good hygiene habits during treatment. Before and after phase 1 photos:

Fantastic experience: My family loves Thompson Orthodontics. All 3 of my kids have come here . They are always on time to take you back . Super friendly stuff ! My kids love their beach bucks they get every appt to exchange them for gift cards of their chose . The payment plan is great . This is how a was able to afford to get Braices to 3 kids . And their office is decorated so nice and cool ! Dr Thompson is the best! He is always friendly and can see he cares for his employees.Everyone seems to love their job here .

Fantastic experience: All the members of our family have used Thompson Orthodontics - some of us for the full braces treatment, some of us for a 2nd opinion on dental work. Dr. T is wonderful and he is famous for hiring a team dedicated to customer service - we've only had great interactions with everyone in the office. A special shout-out to Debbie at the front desk. The vibe is kid-friendly and fun, with perks for patients that don't make the kids groan when they are reminded about an appointment. Fantastic experience: This was my second time getting braces and Thompson Orthodontics did a perfect job. From the receptionist remembering my name, to the ortho assistants and Dr Thompson, the process was smooth and a 10/10. Negative experience: I think I had my braces off in 2015. At the time I was so happy my teeth were less crooked than before and I was so excited over the improvement. There was something that confused me at the time, but I pushed the concern away, and trusted Dr. Thompson word. Over the years I have learned more. So originally at the consultation with Dr. Thompson he said he could make my teeth straight with either Invisalign or with Braces. However, I would have a wider and fuller smile with the braces. I chose the braces. I was supposed to have them for a year and a half or so, which is what happened. There was one visit however where he did an adjustment where I went out to my car after and he had lowered my left front tooth below the right one. It looked strange, but I just thought he must know what he is doing. I let it go a couple of days to see if things just needed time to move, but when I still looked silly, I called in to have him look at it. When he saw it he laughed and said he just wanted me to be able to open bottles easier. We had a good laugh and he made another adjustment and I thought, we are back on track. The day that they told me I was getting me braces off I was a little confused because my two top front teeth were still a little crooked. Dr. Thompson addressed this, he said that he had over directed the other tooth to be infront of the other one as to prevent the original one from crawling back over the other one again. So when I first went in for the consultation a year and a half prior my top left front tooth has always crawled over my top right tooth, and it was significant. So on the day I was getting me braces off my top left tooth was still slightly crawling over my right one. So I didn't understand the overdirection explanation. But I thought he must have done it, because he is telling me has. I was over come with seeing my teeth much improved that I was just focused on that and didn't have him explain further. Over the years I have had to have my bottom permanent retainer reglued in two spots. And I went to different orthodontists out of convenience to have this done. They have inspected my teeth each time telling me the areas that are still crooked and would I like to fix them. They told me my top left front tooth is crawling over my right, and three teeth on the right top side weren't widened and brought to line up with the rest, which I hadn't noticed on my own. I begin telling them that I was told by my orthodontist that my front two were over directed, which I didn't understand, because the same tooth that was crawling over is still crawling over, but just much less. Each orthodontist has explained to me that over directing one tooth to crawl over another tooth to prevent it from crawling over another tooth is not something that is done. So here I am leaving a review. I am leaving a 2 because my teeth are much less crooked then before my braces, which I am grateful for. But I still have the same tooth crawling over another, and three teeth on the side not aligned with the others after getting braces with Thompson Orthodontics. And I was deceived by Thompson as to the reason they weren't straightened, like it was a special preventative method. I came back to Thompson a few years back to see if he could move the three teeth on the right side out, so they would line up with the rest with Invisalign. He said that it probably wouldn't work, but we could try, so he was up front about that. So I bought a couple months of Invisalign from Thompson and no it didn't work, but at least he told me ahead of time.

Fantastic experience: My 9 year old had phase 1 braces here and we couldn't be happier with our experience! Every single person we encountered was kind. We were able to do a payment plan and it was super easy. They had fun rewards to earn and turn in for gift cards at the end. My daughter loved they usually had cookies she could get 1 after her appointents. Dole whip at the beginning and end and candy when you get them off! My daughter has loved her experience here!
