Negative experience: My daughter was in a lot of pain to remove four baby teeth recommended by their orthodontic team. The dentist gave up very quickly when she was crying and moving during the injection to numb her teeth. I had bad teeth my entire life so I am not expert but I do have experience with lots of procedures and dentists in Spain, the UK, and now the US. The dentist didn’t have a lot of patience with her. I knew that anesthesia wasn’t enough and I feel like a failure for not saying anything…. But now I am. You also never see the same dentist. Fast forward, another visit, my husband asked for a school note and they gave my husband a dismissal note, which he read only when he gave to the school’s front desk. It was embarrassing, awful and awkward. Now the school front desk are thinking we must be jerks, why would a dentist office dismiss a child? Would be the parents or we don’t pay the bills. It was very embarrassing. Not only that but the minutes we spent trying to sort out what happened. At some point my husband said the Dentistry front desk lady seemed to be rushed and unhappy when she gave the letter. He said he wasn’t surprised if she was mean or a mistake… or I didn’t pay the bills… which were coming every single visit… boom… few days or weeks would be a letter from them with more money to pay… which we thought odd. Even after a cleaning procedure. But life got busy and I never checked. Going back to the dismissed letter: I called the orthodontist side to ask how to transfer everything since we have been dismissed (we felt awful and trying to figure out what we did wrong. Specially after paying bill after bill for this place.). The orthodontist side called back and said it was a mistake from the front desk (dentist side) while printing the school note. My husband said again he wasn’t surprised. And he is very down to earth and helpful soul. All to say that for us, we would brush all of this IF the bills would stop coming. We came to this facility because of Cigna but after paying bill after bill, I called the insurance and the insurance said they don’t accept Cigna. I regret going to this facility SO badly. We are sad to say goodbye to Dr. Lamb, he was lovely and caring but the dentist side left a big scar in our pockets. :( I recommend Caring Smiles in Falls of Neuse with Dr. Kim. She is very patience and caring. You will receive phone calls from her and her staff to make sure you are doing okay after painful procedures. Her entire staff is lovely and genuinely caring. I have been going to her for two years and have done all sorts of treatments. I see lots of kids leaving her facilities happy and smiling. She is from South Korea background and has that patient Asian caring demeanor. I want my daughter to have that kind of treatment.

Fantastic experience: We went for a consultation for some work and we met with Dr lamb and I don't think there is a more genuinely caring and knowledgeable orthodontist out there and we've been to a few in our area the guy was amazing. He explained everything that we needed, all of our options that we had on the table, and was so sweet to my child. Excellent!

Fantastic experience: I don’t think I’ve ever been to a dental/medical office that displayed the kindness, attention, and intentionality that this office has. I took my 3 kiddos there at once for our first appointment after switching from another provider. The receptionists were warm and welcoming. Hygienists kind, patient, and thorough (kids teeth look AWESOME). Dentists introduced themselves (shook my hand) and included me on every observation/recommendation. This experience has left a lasting impression on my family!!!

Fantastic experience: We love Wake Pediatric Dentistry! Their staff and dentists are amazing! I've never seen people so good with my kids in an office setting as this. My daughter who is usually very nervous and cries during visits did amazing during her cleaning with them. Not one tear was shed. She smiled the whole time!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Dr. Kornstein for tongue/lip tie enough! Absolute pleasure! He treated my twins like they were his own. We are so grateful for the care and for him working with us financially. A true blessing, thank you!

Negative experience: This place is DANGEROUS. They applied fluoride varnish to my childs teeth without parental consent and told him to swallow the varnish rinse. Fluoride is a neurotoxin which is why children should not use fluoride toothpaste unsupervised. The fluoride varnish is a 20x more concentrated than toothpaste and official recommendation is to avoid drinking 30 minutes after. I'm sure the staff are nice but clearly are not following safety practices or understand the risks of the treatments they are applying UPDATE: My child ended up throwing up repeatedly that night and was out of sorts for the next day. When I called the dentist to complain he claimed they used a special type of fluoride that was ingestible but when I looked up the product they used nowhere did it say it could be consumed.

Fantastic experience: The staff were very kind and welcoming. Dr. Kornstein did a great job with my 1 month old and I cannot recommend this place enough!

Fantastic experience: Came here for a lip and tongue tie revision for my 8-week-old baby. Dr. Kornstein was really great and non-pressurizing- I def made the right decision. Front desk staff are also friendly.

Fantastic experience: My son says the doctors are incredibly friendly, have a great sense of humor, and that this is the best office he's ever visited.

Fantastic experience: We had an urgent need and wake ped dentist took us immediately. They made us feel so relieved and really took time with our child. We are so thankful for them!

Fantastic experience: I am so glad that my son's feeding therapist recommended this office. My kids are both autistic and the staff is wonderful with them, they especially like Dr Dave ❤️

Fantastic experience: We love Dr. Dave, and our hygienist was absolutely wonderful. She was patient and it was clear she truly loved working with kiddos (ours is 3). I love starting a good relationship with healthcare professionals early on!

Fantastic experience: They are so great with kids! We have been there for a kip and tongue tie for my baby, and they are so patient with my three year old- way more patient than I am! :)

Fantastic experience: Dr. Macon is so great to work with. He is thorough and explains everything. We can always get an appointment at a time that works for us.

Fantastic experience: The staff and Doctors are top notch. One of my children had a traumatic tooth injury and both the dentist office and orthodontist office helped us tremendously. Recently, Dr. Collie stayed late an afternoon when I called 5 minutes before closing. All of the staff had gone home and he reattached our son's front tooth that had came unattached from the brace. It was my son's birthday weekend and he would have had to go all weekend without the front tooth. We appreciate you all!

Fantastic experience: Wake Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry is the best place to take your little ones. Our family was at a different practice originally. We came to Wake Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry because our daughter needed a tooth pulled with the help of Nitrous. After a great experience we changed ALL four of our children to this practice. It is a family friendly environment. We are also able to take care of their dental and orthodontic needs with a seamless process. The office staff are always friendly and helpful with any questions that you may have. My children especially like seeing Dr. Pretzer, Dr. Kornstein and Dr. Lamb!

Fantastic experience: My daughter really enjoys going to Wake Orthodontics. She loves waiting in the lobby because it has coloring books, a theatre room, and a fish tank. She has also felt comfortable with her orthodontist and feels a lot more confident with her new smile.

Fantastic experience: We have been coming here for many years (dentist and orthodontist), and have had a great experience. All the doctors are kind and work well with kids. Very friendly and helpful staff. They have TVs on the ceiling if they need cavities filled!

Negative experience: Unfortunately, our experience mirrored some of the concerns mentioned in other reviews. While the doctors were excellent with our son, the front office and insurance staff were disappointing. Our appointment was in June, and over the past three months, we’ve made over six calls trying to resolve persistent billing issues. Initially, we were informed that only one insurance coordinator was available, and that the claim likely wasn’t processed due to understaffing—a response that is incredibly unprofessional, especially when it results in a bill exceeding $200 that should have been fully covered. Most recently, we were told that our insurance is now out of network, even though it was confirmed as in-network at the time of the appointment. Overall, this has been a frustrating and unprofessional experience. I strongly advise others to consider alternative options for pediatric dental care. Update from 8/20: The practice manager, Laura, called and was incredibly rude about the situation. She also brought up, unprompted, on the call that she 'saw my review' and would let the doctor know what had been said online. I'm shocked at the unprofessional and rude behavior when this should be an easy situation to resolve.

Fantastic experience: Wake Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry is the only place my family will go to receive orthodontic care. Dr. McCutchen provided orthodontic treatment for me as an adult; and she is now providing treatment for my daughter. Dr. McCutchen is the absolute best in the industry. She is patient, precise, and thorough. The entire staff is pleasant and are ready to assist you as soon as you walk in the door.

Fantastic experience: We love this dental practice for our kids. They are so caring and patient with all of our kids, including our son who has sensory issues. My daughter had to have teeth pulled for her small mouth. They took extra care to make sure she was comfortable throughout all of the procedure. They also were completely thorough in making sure I understood aftercare instructions.

Fantastic experience: Normally appointments do not excite me, but I always look forward to my appointments at Wake Orthodontics! Dr. Collie and his staff are AMAZING! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Negative experience: My daughter has been a patient here for multiple years, as she was also a patient on the dentist side. The ofc had updated insurance 6 months ago and became out of network which no one disclosed till after she was seen for her initial braces appointment & paid the $275. Which they did not disclose either (we thought it was just another check in). Since we had to find a new in-network orthodontist Dr. Lamb *refused* to reimburse the full $275 that we paid not knowing they were not in network. This facility has gone way downhill in patient care in the last few years. They were also 2,500 more than a lot of other 5 star facilities in the area. I would definitely do some research before using them. & I would be cautious as wake peds dental refers this facility since they “share” a building. Definitely do your own insurance calling before any appt as they no longer have someone in house that does. & I would most certainly not recommend dr. Lamb.

Negative experience: The dentist and dental hygienist were great and made my son's visit as pleasurable as possible, but afterwards I received a bill that had not been processed through insurance. I called and they told me to disregard the bill and that I would receive a corrected bill. 3 repeat bills received still without insurance processing. Called after each and was told to disregard. My appointment was in October. It is now April. We received an email asking for payment. I called again and the lady was short with me about the bill. After asking if it has been processed through insurance yet, she became much more kind. Still yet to see a bill processed correctly. Will not be going back just because of these billing headaches.

Negative experience: I was initially very impressed with this practice after my daughter's free "toddler" exam, but I have become frustrated with this practice in the years following and have decided to switch. I'm disappointed with both the cost of services and the quality of care. Cost - they do not offer a private pay rate or monthly plan, they often do not share the cost of services before recommending them, and I find that their costs (with and without insurance) are above market. Here are two recent examples: 1. Without insurance the cost for a cleaning is $350 (cleanings for young children are about 5-10 minutes at this practice). My own dentist in downtown Raleigh bills around $125 for a one hour cleaning and exam. 2. We were told my 4 yo would need fillings for two cavities and the dentist recommended nitrous to calm her during the procedure. Unfortunately the nitrous wasn't effective and my daughter couldn't handle the drilling. The dentist had to stop and recommended sedation. Afterwards I found out that sedation will cost a minimum of $2000 (after insurance is billed). I was also billed over $150 for the nitrous as insurance didn't cover this at all. Care Quality - cleanings for 3 and 4 year olds are very, very short (10 mins or less). My daughter has no problem sitting still for a cleaning. They didn't floss my daughter's teeth while telling me that I need to floss her teeth. I do not feel that she is getting high quality care, especially for the price. This practice does a great job visiting preschools and getting people in the door, but since then our experience has only involved stressful surprises. My recommendations - Please think about offering private pay memberships or discounts for private pay. Evaluate your prices. See if you can contract with an anesthesiology practice that is willing to bill insurance. Share pricing with parents up front. Ensure more thorough cleanings if kid's are willing. Help parents better understand options for fillings before the procedures begin.

Fantastic experience: I love this place. The doctors (dentists), the hygenist, and staff are always so nice. Sometimes, it's hard to treat kids, especially those with sensory issues. My son was diagnosed with mild autism and they know exactly what to do to keep him calm and do an excellent & efficient job.

Fantastic experience: Been taking my 3 yr old since his first visit. Everyone are so sweet they make the kids feel comfortable. The Dr are really good with the kids.

Fantastic experience: I love the Garner office staff. Every visit we have had excellent service. My baby boy actually enjoys going to the dentist. Katie did my sons first cleaning and she was so patient, allowed him to be involved in the cleaning, described everything she was doing to him before doing it, and he talked about her the rest of the day. Dr Pretzer has had such an impact on my son everyday when brushing his teeth he ask, “Is Dr Pretzer going to be proud of me momma?”

Fantastic experience: The office is fun and bright and all of the staff is absolutely wonderful! They help make the dental experience fun and entertaining for my daughter and me. We can’t say enough positive things and would highly recommend her to anyone. My daughter started here when she was 2 years of age and she is now 9 years of age. We have no complaints! The entire staff demonstrates a great deal of patience. My daughter and I are always asking questions. To include, the office is squeaky clean and everyone follows the best practice to prevent COVID.

Fantastic experience: My kids have been getting their teeth cleaned and service done at Wake pediatric since they were very young. We love it! All the employees are great at the Garner office. Fantastic experience: We just love this place! Started coming shortly after my sons birthday and he’s 7 now. They are so kind and gentle with both my kids. My 4.5yo daughter loves going just as much as my son! They take time with you and go over any questions you have and make the kids feel special and comfortable. Love it here!

Fantastic experience: Arrived to the visit. Check in went super smooth. Headed straight to the back for my twins visit. Dr. Travis checked both of my babies mouth and said everything looked great. No waiting time. In and out! Great service as always.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful first visit to the dentist with my 3yr old. The staff were super friendly and know all the tricks to make your little one feel comfortable with the exam. They were even accommodating of my 8month old tagging along. We had a great experience. Highly recommend! Update: My child is now 5 and still enjoys going to the dentist. We have had multiple great visits and the staff are so attentive with kids. The best!!

Fantastic experience: The atmosphere and the people at this office are fantastic! My 4 year old thought it was more of a play time activity and my 7 year old loved that he could play games while waiting to be seen. The staff were gentle and really took their time.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely Amazing! I was nervous about taking my kiddo (who is on the autism spectrum) to the dentist due to his sensory sensitivities. The entire staff really help my little guy and my other kiddos to love the dentist. The staff talk me through my other concerns and provided feedback on my kiddos teeth. I can’t wait to return with my kiddos and my kiddos can’t wait either! Thank you so much!!

Fantastic experience: Our experience was amazing! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. One of my daughters ended up needing an extraction same-day and they were able to fit her in. I give this office a 10/10

Fantastic experience: My son went to his very first dental visit last week. He normally has a hard time sitting still or keeping focus because he has ADHD and he is on the spectrum. Everyone in the office was friendly, and the staff was very good at keeping him calm and attentive. My son felt so comfortable that he was able to sit still through most of the experience. Dr. Rob was very good at helping me understand what was going on with my son's teeth. Dr. Rob was also great with my son while checking his teeth and was able to wiggle his teeth without any issues. The dental assistant (who's name I unfortunately can not remember) was awesome with helping him feel comfortable to get an x-ray, check his teeth, and keep him busy while I talked to Dr. Rob. They have a nice play area and a big fish tank to keep the kiddos busy while they wait. At the end of their visit, they give the kids coins to get toys out of the machines as a reward. Overall, we had a great experience, and my son is even looking forward to going back!

Fantastic experience: We have been going to this dentistry past couple of years and everyone we have met are so nice and caring. The doctors are informative and great with kids. Kids are exited to go every time! Definitely recommend them to everyone

Fantastic experience: The staff here are Amazing! If they stopped taking my insurance, I would still come. I would just pay out of pocket for the wonderful customer service and genuine care they have for their patients. Dr. Pretzer is the BEST. I will not send my 3 kiddos anywhere but here. My kids actually look forward to going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: It was both my 4 years and 2 years old first time at the dentist. My 4 year old is was afraid and yet they talked with with him, played with him, made him comfortable enough that he enjoyed the whole process. My 2 year old wanted to follow big brothers step and she did the same after she saw how great they are

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dave was great. He explained everything very well and did a great job on cutting our sons tongue and lip tie. He also called to check on him later that afternoon which meant a lot to us. 10/10 would recommend the whole place everyone there was so welcoming and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Such an amazing experience, they have such a homey feel. Amazing play room and tv for kids along with a kuerig for parents. Everybody was nice and friendly from the moment you walk in, and they are also super quick about everything! Dr. David was AMAZING with my 2 month old. He did well explaining the situation and how to do his tongue tie and upper lip tie after care. I would 100% recommend him and I hope I can have D’Kotah see him in the future❤️ and to Dr. David thank you so much! It has truly helped him.

Fantastic experience: They were great at making my very nervous child feel better about having to go to the dentist. They have a quieter room for kids who are nervous that I highly recommend. Dentist and staff were excellent!

Fantastic experience: We love Wake Ortho/Pediatric Dentistry! The staff here are amazing! They are caring and take their time with each child. The love for their job really shows with how they interact. Each appointment I see my child grow more comfortable. He isn't afraid and even gets excited when I tell him he has a visit soon!

Fantastic experience: This was my son’s very first time at the dentist! I was so worried he’d be scared because he’s told me that dentist were so so scary but I think once we got there he forgot he was in a dentist office they all made him feel so at home and I don’t think there was any fear in him. The staff and dentist were so nice, polite and professional. I don’t think I could’ve handpicked a better experience if I had tried. I highly recommend this dentist office for the little of your family! Thank you all so much for making us feel so welcome and making my son’s first experience a great one!! He already wants to go back! Actually the post above was written after his first visit and I’m not sure why it didn’t post but we’ve been back since then and we are still loving Wake Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. Our little gets more comfortable every visit! :)

Fantastic experience: My children have received treatment here since my oldest was around 3. Dr. Pretzer is patient, kind and comforting. They know they are being taken care of and I feel confident in the treatment plan. I now drive 30 minutes to this office past many other dental practices because there is no other practice I trust with my kids!

Negative experience: Charged us $350 for a pediatric checkup on a 3 year old with no issues. She spent 5 minutes in the chair. Please justify why your dentists charge $4,200 per hour. They trick you by giving you an initial visit for free. But if you don't have insurance they don't warn you that the next visit will be excessively expensive. I'm used to being charged hundreds of dollars for a dental visit when some work is actually done. Being charged $350 for an exam and nothing else is ridiculous. We called to complain after and were issued a $35 discount. Absolute nonsense. Avoid this place if you are paying out of pocket.

Fantastic experience: Smiles and compassion. All of the doctors are great and the staff is amazing. Great team work. They made my 7 and 2 year old feel right at home. The showed compassion and comfort in their time of anxiety. My 2yrold has some sensory issues and they were ready for her. She has been going since was 3months. I moved and still go this office. I don't wanna leave

It was so nice to have everything so thoroughly explained. I have peace of mind knowing my child is/was well taken care of!

Fantastic experience: We love Wake Pediatrics! From check-in to checkout, the appointment was an excellent experience for us and our 4 yo. She was excited to have her teeth cleaned and "counted". The dentists, front desk, hygienist (Tiara;) hygienist assistant and x-ray tech (Tiffany;) were amazing! Everyone I encountered genuinely seemed to enjoy being there and with each other. There was a kiddo who became very upset during their procedure but none of the team skipped a beat and continued to interact with the other kids to keep focused and engaged, avoiding possible fear or worry. Until our child ages out, she will be patient of Wake Pediatrics Dental!

Fantastic experience: Wow! We really enjoyed our experience here. The facility is very nice, lots to keep the kiddos entertained and comfortable. We brought our infant here for a tongue tie consultation and Dr. Dave was amazing. Very informative, passionate about his work and making a difference in peoples lives. All the staff was super sweet and helpful. We will be moving our 4 yo into their care as well. 100% recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr Kornstein repaired my sons tongue tie and was so great. He took so much time to explain the pros and cons and educated me on the procedure. He gave me his personal cell in case I had post op questions and called within a few hours to check on my son.

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff -- front desk, hygienist, and dentist. I had two failed attempts at other places for my son with special needs. They were very accommodating; you could tell they were trained to work with challenging kids.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience! We came to see Dr Kornstein for a tongue/lip tie consultation & procedure. He was wonderful along with each staff member from the front desk to the assistants. Dr Dave explained everything very well and helped us understand the process. He was very gentle with our 2 month old son and I felt he was in great hands. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Very caring people and treat your children with respect and with their best interests (including issues regarding soreness, pain etc.) always in mind. They are also very efficient while remaining absolutely effective. No long waits, no being in the dark, making sure that not only that you (the parents) are informed, but also your child. Love them!!

Fantastic experience: My son is very nervous at the dentist and the entire staff does an excellent job of working with him and calming his nerves. My older daughter had gone to two different dentists before we found this practice. She had massive anxiety at the other dentist offices and had to be held down. We were referred here by another mom who has a child who suffers with anxiety. Since coming here, my daughter seriously gets super excited to go and has a great time. She says it's her favorite doctor. I have nothing bad to say about this practice.

Fantastic experience: From my first experience contacting the office to register my children for care, to the first appt. with my oldest son, the staff was nothing but pleasant. I was very impressed with the organization of the practice upon arrival (check-in process changes due to COVID-19). All went extremely smoothly/timely in addition to adequate time/energy given by Dr. Travis in explaining the dental specifics related to my son. I must admit, I'm a bit jealous that as an adult I don't have the luxury of being a client here. I look forward to future appts. with the rest of my children; I guess I'll just have to live vicariously through them. Thank you for such a great experience! Update-2/9/23: Took all my kiddos for their normal cleaning. My youngest really struggles with the dentist and he's very vocal about it. When I tell you, today was the best experience ever, it's an understatement. Hygienist Tiara (sp?) was absolutely amazing with him. There was no screaming or anxiety driven reaction during the entire visit. Although, prior to the visit he said he hated the dentist, after his appointment he said, "I love the dentist!" Tiara, THANK YOU!

Fantastic experience: I love the professionalism of the doctors and assistance and how they interact with the kids and parents. I went there when my daughter was a baby and now she's 13 but lost contact with them. Wow still great as I remembered and happy I didn't go anywhere else. My son has a disability and was very nervous and the patience of the team was awesome . Love it and definitely would regimend them.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kathryn Dunderville completed treatment on my child today and was awesome with her. She put both my child AND me at ease. I’ve enjoyed all of the assistants we have interacted with at various appointments, too.

Fantastic experience: Came here to get a second opinion on fillings my old dentist was recommending for my child’s baby teeth. After the old dentist hounding me for 18 months to fill them, Wake Peds confirmed they didn’t need to be filled. My daughter was so happy. Everyone we met from start to finish, including Dr Travis and his entire team, were very pleasant and made my nervous daughter feel at ease from the very start. She is very excited to have a new dentist going forward and can’t wait to come with her brother next time. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: The Dr. Dave Kornstien best pediatric dentist ever! My 3 daughters have been going to him since they were about 2 years old. The entire practice is amazing which I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: We’ve always had such a positive experience here! Everyone working here is gentle, kind, and helpful. They always listen when my son (who is 7 years old and is autistic) has concerns, and they are patient and never hurried. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Everyone in the office made my 3 year old feel comfortable. I was amazing by how they handled her reluctance. She ended up giggling and smiling the whole appointment and literally skipped out of the appointment. 10/10 would recommend!

Fantastic experience: This is the BEST place to go. My kids have Been going to a regular dentist and it was fine. But once they needed a cavity filled we tried and it failed. Big time. This place got us in within the week. Every single person we encountered was SUPER friendly, very sweet to my boys and walked us through everything. We were in and out in 30 mins even though we were new patients. Will continue to come here !

Fantastic experience: Was able to make an appointment for my daughter the day after I called! Everyone was so nice & caring, especially during my daughters frenectomy. The procedure was super quick & as a first time parent I appreciate the opportunity to be present during the procedure. Also very transparent about insurance coverage & pricing!

Fantastic experience: Dentist check ups and cleaning went great today. Staff is awesome and the dentist is great with kids. Took 3 year old and 13 year old. 9/21/21 Kristen is doing great with her braces. Staff and Orthodontist have been very helpful and patient 12/6/22 Amelia’s visit to get 4 fillings went awesome today. Karen was great with her and kept her calm. Amelia loved her! Such a great team with her and the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Amazing dentistry!! They were able to get all of our kids same day and at the same time! Great staff that assisted with my son who needed extra support. Friendly, quick and efficient. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: My daughter (7yrs) had her first visit at Wake Pediatric Dentistry yesterday. It was so pleasant. My daughter wasn't scared and the team was gentle with her. Everyone was helpful and happy. The atmosphere is welcoming. My 5 year old is now looking forward to her visit tomorrow! - recommend to any parent looking for a great dentist community for their children!

Negative experience: This has been our 4th visit to this office and I didn’t go to my daughters first visit so I can speak on that but the second visit was with the orthodontics side and that was a great experience. Our third visit was when my daughter had to get 4 teeth pulled and the tech that was working with my daughter seemed to be annoyed because my daughter was nervous and upset to get her teeth pulled. Now her fourth visit same thing but different tech. So they called us back and when we got into the room the tech had me and my daughters father sit in a corner. They were putting sealant on her teeth. So again my daughter who is 8 by the way is nervous again about getting stuff done to her teeth. So my daughter was squirming because she’s nervous and the tech kept getting annoyed with my daughter about her moving. The tech didn’t seem to have patients at all and took a lot out of me not to make a big deal out of it. The. My daughters father went over to hold my daughters hand and she was annoyed about that too. It just seem that if you’re going to work for a pediatric office then you need to have patients with children. If you don’t have patients then this is the wrong job for you. The orthodontics side is much better and has so much patients with kids.

Fantastic experience: Came here for the first time for my 18 month old son’s first dentist appointment. The office was very homey and comfortable to walk into, they have an aquarium and full play area that kept my little guy occupied until the nurse came out to greet us and take us back. We completed the questionnaire in the exam area and were seen by the Doctor who was lovely, educated us thoroughly and made me and my son feel super comfortable. No tears at our first dentists visit! 10/10 recommend!

Fantastic experience: I was referred by UNC Pediatrics for my newborn. From start to finish, every staff member I interacted with was so friendly and welcoming. The office was clean and spacious, the wonderful ladies I spoke with were such a joy, and Dr. Travis was thorough and informative. I love an environment where I feel comfortable and taken care of. Great first impression! I would definitely recommend. Everyone seems to enjoy what they do and that radiates to the patients!

Fantastic experience: We were referred here because our regular dentist insisted our daughter needed 4 extractions. So glad we came here because she did not need any extractions! Staff was friendly and sweet, office was clean, Dr was great. Was so happy we switched both kids to this office for their regular checkups and any dental work needed. I highly recommend this office.

Fantastic experience: I cannot fathom a better experience between the appointment scheduling process, cleanliness of the facilities, and extreme kindness from the receptionist upon entry. Their dental hygienist(s) and dentist made my kindergartner feel extremely comfortable and praised him throughout the entire visit! Kudos again and again for handling a tough situation like the extreme professionals you are. This place sets the bar for pediatric dentistry.

Fantastic experience: Great dentists and staff! They always make my toddler feel comfortable and he loves the toys and toothbrush at the end! Dentist really takes time to explain everything about my child. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My two toddlers see Dr. Travis at the Garner location and we absolutely love him! My kids enjoy going to the dentist and the staff here are the reason why. I cannot recommend them enough to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist!

Fantastic experience: We have been going here for 10 years and wish they took adults. They are able to cater to my Autistic child as well as my preteen that. Fantastic experience: We absolutely LOVE Wake Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry! Dr. Rob is kind, compassionate and always puts our 7 year old grandson at ease during his visits. Prior to our recent visit, he told us at least a half dozen times that he could hardly wait to see Dr. Rob because he had really missed him!! We cannot say enough positive things about him and the staff.

Fantastic experience: This was the best experience I could have asked for. Dr. Pretzer was so kind, patient, knowledgeable, and gentle with our one year old during his first visit to the dentist. My little one hates being restrained and having his mouth touched so I was very impressed with how they were able to get his teeth checked out without sending him into a full panic..and there were no tears. Every person we interacted with was extremely sweet and kind. This place has such a happy and positive vibe..I’m so thankful my little one gets to come here and I know that he will be taken care of during his future visits. We’re excited to come back for the next cleaning!

Fantastic experience: My son had his first visit to Wake Ortho & Pediatric Dentistry today. It was an emergency appt due to pain but we are absolutely in love with the staff and the entire vibe of the building. After having a really horrible experience with another pediatric dentist it really eased my momma heart to watch my 4yo get work done and handle it better than most adults. He felt safe and comfortable and that made a huge difference. We love it here and I can’t wait to bring my other littles!

Fantastic experience: Today was my 3 year old first time at the Dentist and the Dental surgeon and staff was absolutely amazing from start to finish! The Dental Surgeon told me it would hurt me more and boy he was so right . I cried like a baby but my son was totally fine. The doctor was quick and pleasant and explained everything well. Fantastic experience: We had a great experience. We had a hard time getting our 3 yr old to stop her night time paci use. We decided to take it to our appointment and give it to the doctor so they could give it to another baby. I appreciate the way they made it so exciting for her. She got a little teddy bear, a super hero cape, and a little surprise at the very end of the appointment. They are great with the kids. Will never go anywhere else for our children’s teeth. Highly recommended!!!

Fantastic experience: My children have been coming to this dentist for around 2 years now and we love it. We have always had a great experience from the time we walk in the doors until the time we walk out. From the front desk to the hygienist and dentist all the way to the billing and scheduling I have no complaints. My two kids love coming to the dentist here. Both the dental and orthodontics side of the office have treated us so great. My kids are on a year around school schedule and they always work with us to schedule their appointments during track out weeks!!

Fantastic experience: The staff was kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I was able to schedule all of my children for their appointment at the same time. That is a major plus for parents with multiple children. The dentist took the time out to explain what he discovered and was willing to answer any questions if any. My children really enjoyed their dental visit! They all seem more like a family instead of coworkers. The energy there is great. Good vibes all around! Fantastic experience: My 4 year old went to see Dr. Travis and her nurse was Mrs. Kristy and they were so awesome! They were both so patient, inviting and made my little nugget feel so comfortable. Even though they had to extract a tooth she is looking forward to going back in July with her little sister!

Fantastic experience: The best of the best. They are amazing we were in and out in less than 30 minutes. Dr. Travis made my sons appointment go so smoothly. My son went straight to him and got in the chair. He made checking his teeth a breeze, my son even helped him check his own teeth. Great Great place. I love the staff and they care about the people that comes in. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love the Wake Pediatric Dentistry practice. I was told about this place after having a nightmare with a different office first. We came here for a second opinion and it was the best decision we could have ever made! My 4 year old daughter loves all the staff here and feels very comfortable with them! They are super nice, friendly & have amazing personalities! My daughter had to have dental surgery done at a surgery center and they did an amazing job! They were all very loving and had great personalities! I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great Pediatric Dentist! They get a 10/10 from me! We go to the Garner location!!

Fantastic experience: We have been going there since 2007. My daughter, Nikki, is autistic. She started on the papoose chair which actually helped calmed her a bit. I am thankful for the invention to keep her safe and help the dentist to safely look in her mouth. After 3 visits they moved her to the big area at the noon time slots. She had become acclimated enough not to need the papoose chair. For a parent who has to take off work because they reserve only those slots, I appreciate the thought, effort, and care EVERYONE in the office has given my daughter over the years. There is maybe 3 or 4 other patients in there at the noon time slots and it is quiet and calming. She was finally comfortable enough to take xrays about 3 years ago. They referred her out to have her wisdom teeth cut out. I am thankful to have found such a caring team that has grown to love Nikki as much as we do! She hands out colored pictures to everyone in the office and every year when we go back her collection is still on the wall. I can't express how much I love this office.

Fantastic experience: My kids have been coming to this practice for a couple years. They arrange to have them come in at the same time. My kids love the selection of lots of tooth polish flavors. The dentists are always clear about what they're looking for and what they're keeping an eye on. They follow up on what they've documented in my kids' files and give me a general timeline of what's coming up. Most recently, the doctor informed me that my daughter may need a spacing retainer for her upper teeth, but that I can expect a consult in 6 months. Nothing to panic about, but the clear communication ensures that I won't be caught off-guard during the next visit. Everyone we've interacted with is so kind and they do a great job making the kids feel comfortable throughout their appointments.

Fantastic experience: I truly love this office!! It is super clean, staff is always welcoming, in a good mood and great with all the kids!! I always recommend when askee where I take my kids for dental care. I even moved further away and will travel the distance for my kids appointments thats the level of amazing care given.

Fantastic experience: From the front desk, to the assistants, to the provider to the check-out desk… the staff could not have been more friendly, comforting and pleasant. My husband and I went in feeling nervous about our 2 week old son’s procedure and left feeling confident and reassured by the care he received. Dr. Kornstein and his staff took such wonderful care of him and of us. We are very grateful and are already planning on sticking with this practice for our kids’ future dental care. Fantastic experience: It was my toddlers first dental appointment and I want to say how extremely kind and thoughtful the employees were through the whole process. I felt that they were very understanding of small children and were pros during my son’s unhappy reaction to getting his teeth checked. They were calming to me and my son. The facilities are super clean, inviting, and fun. We love the fish tank and chance to surf (balance board for kids). The dentist was amazing and he was very informative, reassuring, and considerate. As was the staff. I highly recommend. We had a great experience, even with knowing it’s a stressful situation for a parent and their little. The overall experience let’s me know that they “get” being a parent and working with kids. Thank you to those who work to create a memorable experience. We will be returning.

Fantastic experience: My child had a dental emergency while at school and the office staff got her in immediately. The care and compassion the entire staff exhibited far exceeded my expectations (which are incredibly high). Dr. Moran skillfully and perfectly repaired the damaged tooth. Karen provided calmness and loving care to my child and her twin while expertly assisting with the entire procedure. I highly recommend the care of this entire group of professionals.

Fantastic experience: Our little one chipped off half of her adult front tooth in a trampoline accident. The on-call dentist response was quick and she was OK to come in the next morning. The repair was done by Dr Moran and took about two hours. The result was excellent and you can't even tell she damaged the tooth. We are so grateful to Dr Moran and his staff for the excellent care she received! Now she has her beautiful smile back

Fantastic experience: Absolutely AMAZING doctors and staff! The office is fun and bright and all of the staff is absolutely wonderful! Even though we live in Cary and it is a bit of a drive, we tried them, on a recommendation and remained patients for the last 10 years. My daughter started on the dental side when she was 4 years old. Dr Pretzer and Dr.Kornstein were kind and reassuring. They helped make the dental experience fun and entertaining for my daughter. We can’t say enough positive things and would highly recommend them to anyone. When it came time for braces, we flipped over to the Orthodontics side and found a gem with Dr.McCutchen. She is very thorough and personable. The entire staff demonstrates a great energy. I especially appreciate never having to wait long to be seen. In addition, the offices are squeaky clean and everyone follows the best practice to prevent COVID.
