Fantastic experience: I had a great experience. Hi everyone I want to update my experience. Yes my experience with the team was great but I was given a drug Dexamethasone and know one told me what would happen during my time taking it or after finishing it. During I developed hiccups and sometimes severe acid reflux with phlegm weakness and spasms of the diaphragm. 1 week later I still have all symptoms I suggest this medication never be used again to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I just had the best tech she got my teeth just right I feel so much better. Thank u so much aniah I doubt I spelled it right but girl u did amazing in such a short time. Got all the problem spots with little direction. I'm not great at telling what I need but she got it perfectly I can eat and drink out of straws again. Fantastic experience: I realize that most people aren't absolutely thrilled to go to the dentist, and suffer through the experience because it's slightly better than doing the work themselves. The process usually means an extra long wait in various rooms, a chaotic and confusing check-in, a festival of uncomfortable scans using 19th century machines, a whirlwind visit with the boss dentist who frankly has better things to do, some brusque and ungentle treatment in an uncomfortable chair, and an opaque check-out that's explicitly focused on the next patient, and the next, and the next. This was not our experience at Aspen Dental in Orange Park. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with kindness and patience, handling our paperwork and verifying our insurance with a lively warmth. After a professional set of x-rays yielding the perfect pictures on the first try, Dr. Park joined us and went over everything, ensuring we understood what was coming. Next we did the dental scaling (think super-cleaning) with Josh, who is your absolute best friend, saying everything in CAPITAL LETTERS but always listening, checking in constantly but not annoyingly, "ARE YOU OKAY? DO YOU NEED A BREAK?" Finally, it's an unhurried sit-down with Petar, the office manager, to go over pricing, insurance (don't worry, he's going to make all the calls), and payment options, all very clear and easy. He even spares some time to check in on you, "You just moved to Jacksonville? What do you think? You were in the Army? What was that like?" It's a business, yes, but it feels like care out of the past, where the providers are you neighbors, and they care about you because the work matters. We appreciate that.

Negative experience: Some of the staff was quite attentive to our needs. Easily understood instructions and great plan on moving forward with our care. HOWEVER, some did not listen to our needs. Some did make the experience difficult and frustrating. The time it took was quite long and the process, overall, did not meet my expectations. I really would not recommend Aspen Dental.

After an examination, it was determined that I required a root canal. The staff at this facility responded swiftly, referring me to a specialist and even assisting in scheduling my appointment with the endodontist. Fantastic experience: My whole life i've had a fear of going to the dentist. Ive had all kinds of not so great experiences. Almost every time i have a dental appointment i have to calm myself before I go in. But every time I come here everyone is so incredibly kind and attentive. Josh, Mishelle, Nelson, Gio, AK and honestly the entire staff from setting up an appointment to the moment you walk out of the building are all so awesome. At the end of every appointment i often wonder why i was even nervous in the first place.

Negative experience: Scan alert, will NOT RECOMMEND. My wife and I went for a routine exam and cleaning as it had been a few years since the last time. After the exam, we were both told that we had periodontal disease, and our insurance did not cover that type of cleaning. They said they had a great discount rate of $1200 each. We both said, "No, thank you, we are going to get a second opinion. I went to the VA with no periodontal disease they (the VA) sent me to a civilian dentist for a regular cleaning. They gave me a 3rd exam also with NO periodontal disease. That's 2 separate dentists with contradictory outcomes. Shame on you, Aspen Dental. The insurance companies need to look into this. Always get a second opinion!!!

Positive experience: The team from Dr to Insurance Manager tries to upscale items that would be a lower pr no price @regular dentists. Some items are unnecessarily added at the time.I felt confused , rushed and embarrassed.

I’m Cuban, and sometimes the language is a challenge for me, but Mishell helped me every step of the way, was very patient, and explained everything clearly. Dr Park helped my mom immediately the same day I didn't even know it was possible Thank you for your support and outstanding service!

Negative experience: I came to them because I cracked my tooth and it would take 2 weeks to see my primary. Not only did they do nothing for immediate relief, like temporary bond my tooth to prevent further damage (I asked several times!), they attempted to up-sale me to remove multiple additional teeth and add an expensive partial bridge. Fortunately, I refused and waited to see my primary, who immediately bonded the tooth and offered several solutions which we reviewed and made a decision about. They stated it made no sense for them not to place a bond on the tooth! I'm sorry, but they are vultures...

Negative experience: I had hoped to find a dental office that I could trust for my ongoing dental care. Initially, when I arrived, the staff welcomed me warmly, and Dr. Park greeted me with what seemed to be a caring demeanor. However, I soon felt that the visit was more about the financial aspect than patient care. I visited the Aspan Office at the Blending and Youngerman location for a new denture and consulted with Dr. Park, who is of Asian descent. Afterward, I spoke with his Account Manager, who was very kind and explained the process clearly. She informed me about their in-house lab technician, assuring me that the denture creation process would be efficient. The cost for a partial denture came to $4,641, which I agreed to after my insurance approved my co-payment of $2,361.90. I opted to pay out-of-pocket instead of using CareCredit. The experience took a turn when the staff took X-rays, and then Dr. Park reviewed the treatment plan with me. Subsequently, I met with a hygienist who provided a thorough cleaning on one side of my mouth but recommended waiting a week for the other side. Upon my return, a different hygienist performed the cleaning, but I found it less thorough and rushed compared to the first session. After that, I was sent for a scan to measure for the partials. I was informed that my case would be sent outside to the lab rather than being completed on-site, which was unexpected. I was later called to come in for the fitting of my denture and was surprised to find that Dr. Park was not present. The fitting did not meet my expectations; the denture appeared much too small. I expressed my concerns to the nurse, who kindly offered to retake measurements for the denture based on a suggestion from the lab technician. I had preferred the traditional impression method over the laser technology used during my appointment. Overall, I hoped for a more personalized approach from Dr. Park throughout this process. Unfortunately, I felt that the focus was more on financial transactions than ensuring my satisfaction as a patient. This experience has left me feeling quite disappointed, as I initially believed Dr. Park was genuinely invested in the well-being of his patients. As it stands, I am contemplating my future dental care options. I believe Dr should check his patient and listen not quickly take money.

Fantastic experience: I just had an exceptional new patient onboarding experience! Dr. Park conducted a full evaluation of my dental issues and his assessment for recomendations was both practical and economical, true common sense!!! Additionally, Peter explained the billing flawlessly and Josh inspired confidence in my upcoming gum treatment. Im looking forward to getting my teeth/gums ready to enjoy in my retirement.
