Fantastic experience: Excellent ...The Best dental and hygienic care !

Negative experience: So i arrived at my dental appointment on time at 8am sharp and this was no easy feat. My wife and i have 4 children at home.One of which has autism. And anyone with a special needs child knows its not easy.And getting all your kids ready for school in the morning can be a nightmare, particularly if your dealing with a child that has special needs.And they all go to different schools because of their age differences. So I run all around town all morning etting everyone to school on time.So my wife,my 9 month old baby and I still manage to arrive at the appointment on time.When I went to sign in.I realized in all the morning commotion,I left my wallet on my dresser at home(honest mistake)The young lady at the front desk was a sweetheart.She totally understood and told me to just fill out my paperwork. I guess the office manager who i hadn't even seen,had overheard our conversation. She came out of nowhere and said no no no.He has to reschedule his appointment. The appointment i just waited two weeks for.We don't even live far from the office.My wife could have easily run back to the house and grabbed my wallet for me.But this woman's immediate response was to just cancel my appointment. I was in shock. I couldn't believe it.Im standing there with my mouth in pain and she's canceling my appointment. Not to mention, if i don't work i don't get paid.So my mouth is hurting,I'm not seeing the dentist and I took the day off for no reason. So now,I'm also losing a days pay because I took the day off to go to the dentist. On top of that,the woman starts chastising me in front of my wife and child. And saying I'm an irresponsible man because I made a common mistake that everyone does.She was taking personal digs at my character. She was speaking down to me in a very unprofessional manner.I wonder if the dentist knows his manager speaking to patients in such a disrespectful way.I didn't reschedule obviously. I would rather deal with my mouth in pain and go elsewhere than spend my hard earned money somewhere where they don't respect me as a human being.You couldn't pay me to return to this place!

Fantastic experience: I came to Allin Family Dentistry as a new, but emergent patient, having lost the crown off a bottom first molar. They got me in the same day, assured me the tooth could most likely be saved (I was expecting extraction), and scheduled me for the temporary crown placement the following day. Dr. Mondry, Shaleena and Kim could not have been nicer, as were the staff on the phone and at the front desk! I now have a new dental family, and my husband has made an appointment with them as well. I highly recommend Allin Family Dentistry, and so glad to have found them!

A recent Medicare subscriber still learning the ropes. Lots of new faces at the front desk and thankful for their help. Grateful my hygienist is still there. She is great! Staying with Allin.

Fantastic experience: I haven't been to a dentist in over 20 years. My Uncle recommended this dentist. Wow, was he right. I have severe anxiety, especially with dentists. They were so incredibly nice and helpful. They worked with my anxiety and that's a huge plus for me. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I keep going back because Sajana and Naveen are top notch, and highly proficient dentists. Naveen extracted a molar painlessly and he made it look easy. Sajana has done more painless root canals than I care to remember. Sajana and Naveen are very easy to get along with and always have good suggestions for me. Sometimes im a bit slow with my appointments. All the staff I have met are also top notch and good at what they do. I highly recommend Sajana, Naveen and their staff at Allen Family Destiny.

Fantastic experience: The staff is incredible. It's like a comedy club. Natalie, " the opener" gets you checked in, tells a few jokes and takes you to your seat. Then " KD " , the headliner comes in for about 5 minutes and gets the jokes going until Dr. Allin comes to do the procedure. Before you know it you're on your way home. Love those folks!!

Negative experience: I get the fact that after years of being a patient there and literally thousands of dollars later your office decides that you’re not accepting MCPS insurance any longer. But I really thought you would honor a device that you supplied and collected over 3000.00 dollars for and fix a simple repair without trying to charge me huge new fees

Negative experience: They have converted to online records. Be prepared to do their admin work for them. They also want to make a copy of your driver's license, no explanation why. You will sign a form saying that you will pay them if you cancel within 24 hrs. What if they cancel?, and they do. I showed up 15 min early to do paperwork as directed. They weren't ready. Filled out their paperwork after visit with the dentist; now late for work. Seems like I see a different dentist every time I go. New update. We are now looking for a new Dentist. For the fifth time in a row, I received a call within an hour of my scheduled appointment to cancel the appointment. Today, for example, I had a 9 am appointment that was on the calendar since January (five months ago). They called at 8:15 to say my hygienist was sick and they needed to reschedule my appointment. I had planned my whole day around this schedule. If that were a one-time occurrence I would understand, but EVERY TIME it's the same late call. BTW, they charge $50 if I cancel within 24 hours. We are retired military and have had dentists all over the US: customer service, worst seen to date.

I was impressed by him then and disappointed when I went back, and he wasn't there. Several years ago, when I left that dentist office, I looked for Dr. Allin who had his own office then. I have been going to him ever since.

Fantastic experience: Can’t say enough about this pleasant pristine dental office from receptionist to dental assistants to Dr. Monday. I am so impressed at the level of care I received and the resolution from the start of my dental visit to the end and checkout was outstanding. Dr. Money took time to listen and suggest several possibilities to resolve my dental issues. She actually might have resolved my needs without ever having to do much more than she did when I was there. If you don’t presently have a dentist, I would highly recommend this dental office. It is exceptional.

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience getting a crown put on here.. When they took off the temporary crown and put on the permanent one they didn’t want to give me anything to numb my tooth. I was in the worst pain of my life. At one point I told the dentist i thought I was going to throw up from the pain and he said don’t worry you won’t. To make matters even worse they put the new crown on backwards and had to take it back off after it was already set. I drove the 45 minutes home with my teeth literally chattering from the amount of pain I was in. The crown doesn’t fit properly and is bothering me. Im going to have to find another dentist to fix it and pay more money.

Fantastic experience: I lost a filling in my upper tooth and my wife called the dental office we have had for years. They couldn't get me in for 2 weeks. Ask about emergency visits and they said they were all booked. So she called Allin dental on Wednesday they got me in on Friday. Filled my tooth but I need crown so back to them on the 27th. The staff is great and Carol was super. Doctor Naveen was awesome no numbing I didn't feel anything.We will definitely have a new Dentist. Greatest experience at the dentist. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them.

Fantastic experience: I slacked off for 2 years and didn't come in . I had an emergency, Where my tooth broke, and I had to have it looked at because I was in pain and they got me in the next morning at 8 am !!! Luckily there was a cancellation two days later in the a.m. and we're able to get me in to have my tooth pulled. I've never been to any doctor or hospital and have gotten that quick of service. These people are so amazing that i am paying out of pocket because they are not in my insurance network.. And I really don't want to go anywhere else. Once you start going here, you won't wanna go anywhere else...

Negative experience: It took a fair amount of time filling out all their texted forms which included all my medical history, surgeries, broken bones etc. It included downloading photos of my license as well before I could even make an appointment with them. I’m sure they didn’t review any of it because at my first visit as they asked for information again. After 1 ½ hours of x-rays and charting, the dentist came in and I found out she had only been practicing for 6 months. I asked if I could see a more experienced dentist. As an older patient I have a mouth full of crowns and bridges. Then they sent in their “bouncer” and she told me I wasn’t a good fit for their practice. What? I couldn’t believe it. They wasted hours of my time, charged me $199.00 with no future appointments. Why they couldn’t just re-schedule me with a more experienced dentist I’m not sure. Maybe all their dentists are just out of school Or maybe Dr Mondry just has a very big ego……

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient here for two years and they are excellent. The other day my crown came out. I called them up and they were able to get me in within two hours and they were able to get the crown put back on right away, I was very pleased with the experience

There are Dental plans available. The person in charge of Insurance Coverage is Connie. Very knowledgeable of coverages. The thing that impresses me is how quickly I knew what I owed. My bill to pay off the balance owed There have been times after leaving a Dentist office I had no idea what was owed and what was covered. The hygienist Jackie as usual great cleaning. The Practice tries to keep the patient and same hygienist together for ongoing treatments Finally, I was not compensated for this testimonial
