Positive experience: Lobby was packed. I came in and signed at the front desk. Neither of the 2 people at the desk acknowledged me. So I sat down only to look up 15 minutes later when an older man was complaining about having to check in at a kiosk. My self and another man behind me did not check into this kiosk. Because no one told us to and it's against a wall away from your eye site when you come in or go to sit down.

Negative experience: Went here for many years and they were great until they weren’t. I called about 16 times and spoke with the same people regarding a reoccurring bill for a treatment I decided to not do. Now I get a bill for $800 every month and still call to get it fixed. I got a bank and credit card company to provide proof that I didn’t get the service and don’t have to pay and still no one has fixed it. It’s a shame.

Positive experience: only giving a 3 star because of the sweet lady who filled my teeth. the person drilling did NOT wait for the medicine to work. 3 separate times she stopped to add medicine without waiting. the nurse after confirmed it was because they did not wait for the meds to drill into my teeth. it HURT. i have had sensitivity during fillings, this was not it. very kind woman who filled them however! i think the young woman drilling my teeth was in a rush. she didn't even stop to get more novocain. she used something else when she ran out. i was told, and i quote, "my struggling is making the medicine not work" no. the medicine didn't work because it wasn't given time to do so. aside from this issue, the practice is fine.

Negative experience: Very bad service they over booked with there appointments there is nobody there to pick up the phone you have to leave a message and they will call you back if you can go to the warren location there better…. I can’t go into great details with my service here at the dentist if you dnt believe just try it out for yourself lol…..

Negative experience: Will avoid this place moving forward. Got 3 bills for the same service that were always covered by my insurance with my previous dentist. No changes to my insurance. Called to ask why I owed a 3rd payment, and received now 3 different reasons. They refused to mail any proof they even ever charged my insurance so I'm pretty sure I paid entirely out of pocket. The hygienist and dentist were nice so they are the reason I'm not giving just 1 star.

Fantastic experience: My first visit there on an office to office referral..and I completely switched. They have an entire team that is busy but truly care! Dr. Jeff and the team!! I wish I found them years ago. I talked to others they said the wait is the only thing that was off putting but that the care is WORTH it. I was in tears with the level of care they gave from calling to make the appointment to walking in and working with me on getting fax from other office to getting an entire plan set up! Normally I would have to schedule have it cancelled scheduled again another 6 months out..call for same day appointments in order to get treated. Because I couldn't get a plan made until a clean and more xrays I was told for the last year. So here we are...I am for the first time in a long time excited to go to the dentist again. I called to schedule a few days ago and the woman I spoke to then was just as kind and genuinely cared. I appreciate them all so much and although I went through it with how bad my teeth have become from waiting..and dreading the dentist. Thank you all so much.

Fantastic experience: I had to have my front teeth filled and was worried about what they would look like. I am beyond happy!! My teeth look like they did when I was a teenager. The color match is perfect as well. I love this practice not only for their knowledge and professionalism but because I am always welcomed with SMILES.

Negative experience: Worst place ever!!!! I missed one appointment because my grandma fell and ended up on life support I even called the morning of and let them know I wouldn't make it and was told to just call back when I was able to reschedule... Here I am trying to reschedule and I'm being told they dropped me for 3 missed appointments!!!! I've only went to them one time wanted a tooth taken out the dentist wanted to fix it and I didn't even schedule that appointment in the in the office!!! So they just schedule appointments for you without your knowledge or consent so they are able to drop you??? My face I swollen my jaw is infected and I have a terrible abscess and I can't even get it removed because they schedule appointments themselves!!!!

Negative experience: Worst customer server ever . I booked an appointment for 3:00 pm and it was a last minute booking and told them I will be 15 to 20 mins late and the receptionist told me that’s fine . I drove 40 mins to come to their office in boardman and they refused to take me in . They said my appointment was at 2:30 pm which was a straight lie because I have the appointment confirmation text for 3 pm . So never again I’m coming to this office . They are horrible .

Negative experience: This place sucks. This place is bull. They don't let people back that brought them such as thier fiance. This place deserves a 0 to the fullest. Whats the sense in having an appointment if it takes them an hour to call you back? Pathetic. I would NEVER EVER recommend this place EVER.

Negative experience: I’d give 0 stars if I could. Don’t waste your time! Avoid them if you can. The office smelled like an ash tray, there was a lady holding a dog in the waiting room who said multiple times it wasn’t a service dog. They have candles lit to try to mask the smell. The office is cluttered and DIRTY. everything was dirty- the floors are disgusting, the chairs they have you sit in for your procedure have dirt and only god knows what else caked into the folds of them. The paint is chipping off the walls, the tools they laid out looked like they were on the verge of rusting, and there was materials like bond or something from someone else’s procedures ON THE TRAY the “ sterile “ tools were. I included a picture. I waited two hours after my scheduled appt that I waited 4 months for, before I walked out without having my procedure. The board of dentistry needs to shut them down.

Negative experience: Normally I'm the one to avoid a negative review, but I'm sitting in their office right now, my scheduled appointment was 45 minutes ago. I responded to all 3 of their confirmation emails (you know, the ones they'll cancel your appointment for if you don't respond to) and showed up 15 minutes early as they requested. Said something to the receptionist and all she's said is the dentist isn't here yet. But yet I've watched person after person who came in after me go back. ️

Negative experience: Don't go here unless you need something simple and have half a day to waste. Waited 2 hours in the waiting room just for the doctor to say he couldn't pull my tooth. They gave me a card for a different doctor who only takes calls twice a week and only shows up once a month.

Negative experience: I waited an hour in the waiting room. Then the assist called my name, took me to the exam room. Didn't say two words to me. A doctor came in, looked in my mouth for 2 seconds, talked to me with his back turned as he was walking out the door. The front desk ladies were the only nice thing about this place. One star is too nice.

Fantastic experience: I had five teeth out in one session. After the novocaine set in and I was ready for the extraction the doctor had five teeth out in about 3 minutes. He he is extremely skilled. At least it seems that way to me.

Positive experience: My daughter had 9am appointment. We were there on time Signed in and waited 15 minutes to call her up only to tell her appointment canceled. Receptionist said she called my cell phone and it is disconnected. I insisted I never received a call. She dialed my cell phone and lo and behold it was ringing. I guess I called the wrong number this morning. So I drove 30 minutes early morning on snowy roads for no reason. That's called incompetence.

Fantastic experience: I normally don't go out of my way to write a review. I'm TERRIFIED of dentist. Dr JEFF is unbelievable. I cant believe how friendly he was and how kind he was. The hygienist was excellent! The dentist herself solved my problem I had been having for 2 years that 2 other dentists failed to fix. She explained things well and was very knowledgeable. Negative experience: My appointment was at 12 Didn’t get back till 1 or 2 then the dr they had there has no bed side manner at all I told him he hurt me and I was told it’s the only way to get you num and then took him 30 mins to get to me after that it was so bad. Positive experience: Dr. Faraj was very friendly and the extractions were done in now time once he got started. It was so quick and efficient when he said he was done, I asked if he was sure. LOL! The downside is my appt was set for 2p, I didn’t get called back until 3:45. Otherwise good experience. Painless, easy, fast for the procedure itself.

Negative experience: They are playing games i need wisdom teeth pulled then I go there and they said I'm here for fillings knowing I was in pain and now I'm in pain worse now that I left! On top of all that a black girl sounded racist to me and had attitudes with me cuz I wouldn't open my mouth wider when I have disabilities two of them is autism and anxiety.

Negative experience: My appointment was at 2:30 my daughter and several other people got seen before me and their appointments were after me. I didn’t get seen after 3:45 then They needed the dentist to come look at my teeth to see exactly what work I needed done and she already left for today and it wasn’t even 5 o’clock. on a good note, the lady that took my x-rays and the other lady that cleaned my teeth were very apologetic and nice and appreciated my patience And try to get me out as soon as possible they did everything that they could do for me at that time. I really appreciate those two women.

Negative experience: I feel like customer service may be this company's downfall. If the establishment states that they Open at 8: 00a The staff should be available at the front desk and on the phones at 8:00. No exceptions. The phone service gets an F. No one's answering. No one is returning the phone calls in a timely fashion or at all. I have never been to a medical/dental establishment where the front desk is quiet. They usually have front office answering the phone and someone in the back answering the phone. When patients are late due to weather (like recently Jan 2025) and they're calling into the establishment and no one's answering the phone. Then you show up and you can possibly get turned away. But you're showing proof that you've been calling several times and no one has answered the phone. Then it's your fault! If you come on, Provide a Ride and the provider ride is late with a person with a disability, then you can also be turned away. That's a question I asked,and that was the response. NO ONE CARES TO MINE/MEND THE DAMN PHONES!!! And that's also the patients fault, call back or leave a message, lordy. This is concerning, or maybe it's NOT!!! And NO this isn't an isolated incident either!

Fantastic experience: The doctor that pulled my tooth did an excellent job numbed me up real good I didn’t feel a thing and he made sure I was comfortable the whole time and I had a very difficult tooth that needed pulled that the last dentist couldn’t get out. I was relieved and very thankful after he was finished and the assistance were awesome!

Negative experience: I would love to give 5 stars because the only problem I have is trying to schedule an appointment. I’ve called and left 7 messages, plus someone I spoke to said they would send an email for someone to call me back. The only time they answer the phone is if you are a new patient. I will be going somewhere else to get my dentures.

Negative experience: I’m in disbelief. I had an appointment on New Year’s Eve and they canceled it which isn’t surprising I knew they’d probably be closed anyways so I don’t understand why they would schedule me in the first place. I called to schedule an appointment and they can’t get me in until April 1 because they’re “booked out” that’s ridiculous. I haven’t been to a dentist in 7 months and they decided to wrongfully schedule me and now I have to wait until April? I’m currently looking for a new dentist because not only do they cancel on people but they’re also slow in business. Every time I’m there on time or early for my appointment I’m sitting in the waiting room for 10-30 minutes past my appointment time.

Fantastic experience: I was really impressed about the work that was done and as quickly as it was done and very nice staff in dentist was great I would deffently come back for my dental needs I recommend it's one of the best dentists around the last one I dealt with all they wanted to do was make money off of me they wanted to give me a root canal which never works for me that's why I just decided to have the teeth extracted thank you for the great work and the time frame you guys were wonderful

Positive experience: Was kind of nervous coming in to get a deep cleaning of my teeth. Thought it was going to be a very painful experience, due to neglecting my oral health for years. I would highly recommend was not that bad except for a few sensitive areas of my gums. Highly recommend, and will be back in April. Sincerely Jeffrey Nelson. I just wish the surgeon they use for extractions was easier to get in touch with. Can hardly ever to even leave a voice mail message it is always full seems they never erase messages, or something. I have to come in to get my wisdom teeth pulled soon.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Dental Express is always an enjoyable and memorable experience with every visit.. With everything from the min walking in the doors being greeted with a smile by the beautiful spirited receptionist who is very kind.. to all the staff who also carry beautiful spirits and are extremely friendly and courteous.. I usually get the same two assists who look after me and comfort me with informative and insightful details for my dental plan every time.. Laslty for my intelligent, kind hearted; very professional Doctor, who always pays attention to detail and paitent care during every dental process, trust me I can go on and on about this place and why I would suggest anyone looking for a dentist to go to, or to even change to a new dentist, Dental Express is the place to go, if you seek 5-star service all around the board.. Also I forgot to mention is a very clean place; is prompt in confirming appointments, calling/texting your phone, giving you a heads-up a week, and also the day before for a reminder, and they do respect their grace periods if you are running a little late, which for someone like myself is very useful.. Once again, thank you to all staff, and thank you for such a pleasant visit yesterday... stay blessed...❤️

Negative experience: I have been attempting to contact this office for weeks in order to help a client resolve their past due account. I have spoken with billing who transferred me to someone else. I have left countless messages and one person even said that they would have the business manager contact me. Still nothing! Someone, please return your calls.

Negative experience: Hands down, would not and am not returning to this facility. As soon as I walked in I received no acknowledgement, receptionist just put a clipboard in front of me and turned away without any smile. It was very unwelcoming. No one spoke to me at all, no hi, no "sign in, please", no "we'll be with you in a moment", nothing. Two women were at the desk. One with a person while the other was not. Only one person was waiting when I came in and she was called back when I sat down. I arrived on time (probably about 5 minutes before my appointment) and was called up 15 minutes after my appointment time to ask me to fill out paperwork, which was already completed online. I informed her of this and she checked, found it and informed me I was all good. This should have been checked before trying to get me to fill it out again and they definitely should have been having a patient fill out paperwork when they arrived, not 15 minutes after their appointment time. I was called back at 10:47 (appointment at 10:30) The woman that did my xrays was very nice. She was gentle while putting the thing in my mouth and didn't want to hurt me. She also continued to pop in every once in awhile to let me know she hadn't forgotten I was in there and let me know the Hygienist was coming and after her the dentist. She was the ONLY nice person there. The dental hygienist was rude. She called a tech in to take notes about my teeth, they both sat there chatting to each other before doing dental stuff, no introduction. During teeth check continued to poke areas that hurt and were sensitive with no words to me and no care. The mirror slipped from my mouth several times - again, no words, no apologies, just continued jamming on. Absolutely no bedside manner. She gave no notification before squirting water in my mouth it was startling (duh) and came out the corner of my mouth. I told her that would have been nice to have been told before she did so and she didn't like that. Turned it off and turned away from me. Wrote something down and said she'd send the doctor in and left. The rude hygienist came in about 11:15 and was in there about 10 minutes maybe. I dozed off a couple of times waiting for the dentist. She came in somewhere between 12:15 - 1. The dentist was rushed and rude. She was in there for maybe 5 or 10 minutes, barely looked at my mouth or xrays and was gone. She only sent in one prescription and I had to remind the xray woman about the other one and she said she would remind the doctor (since she rushed out so fast). When I got to the pharmacy I found out she had sent in the second one without any instructions so they could fill it and sent it back waiting for her to respond. She NEVER DID. This office also decided to just make an appointment for me since I needed work done and the appointment was for APRIL 2025. (My original apt was Oct. 2024) Also, I went to another dentist to find out that she missed a hole in my tooth and other work.

Negative experience: I sat there for two and half hrs bfor he even came in to numb my teeth. I was supposed to have all me teeth pulled and he only did the top teeth, because it took too much novacaine on the top!! The teeth tht give me my problems are on the bottom,he refused to pull them. I feel like it was a waste of my time. I don't want to go thru this again. Tht y they were all coming out. So if u have low tolerance for pain. Do not go to this place. He will threaten to refuse to do ur teeth and then only do half

Fantastic experience: OMG! I waited almost 8 months to find someone to take my teeth out! Came here and let me just say receptionist is awesome! She was kind and so polite and SO funny! Guy who did my X-rays was awesome as well and enjoyed my conversation with him! The dentist who actually did my extractions I can’t thank enough as he has made me so much more confident in myself and was so supportive of my situation. I expected to be there so long as I need 8 teeth extracted, I was there 10 minutes and I was so impressed with my outcome. I now have a beautiful smile that I have waited for, for over 10 years! Fantastic experience: Such a caring group of folks, explained eveything that had to be done with my procedure. They work well with my scheduling and I love the reminders on my phone. I feel like I am heard and not just another person who comes and insurance pays for me. They address me by name and actually make eye contact. They listen to what I have to say and not rush me, todays procedure was efficient and quick. They understood that I have anxiety and did everything to comfort me, including putting music of my choice on! Highly recommend these folks.

Negative experience: Prepare for a full waiting room, long wait, and to not be told anything. Also if you need a call back, wait a week+. They switched out the staff since july so maybe its better now. But i went back today to fix the teeth and i wasnt prepared for any of the dental plan, and the things i discussed with them originally, wasn't even in the plan. Very upsetting. They also said my insurance doesn't cover a crown and they do with prior auth. Awful company. Had to wait 2 months just to follow up from the 1st appt. Now I have to find another place. Edit: Found another place and they said I didn't even need a crown and only had 1 cavity vs the 3 the others said. They just rebuilt my tooth and filled the other cavity. Dental Express said id need 2 crowns plus cavity or to pull the teeth. Again awful place!

Negative experience: The lasy at the dest was so rude today. She not only told me my appointment being canceled was my fault but was rude! I hardly ever stick up for myself when needed. But today was just wrong! The last time I went to make an appointment, the lady on the phone was incredibly rude as well. when my appointment was today...she said the reason it was canceled was because I didn't confirm my appointment till my ride there...that's wrong. I did confirm it today. But I did do before they went to lunch my appointment was at 2. I confirmed al 11:40. But, I only started with because I looked at the text to double-check the time and, for the first time, ever saw a confirm option. I even have 2 years of text that they never asked that before. And when they sent me that text,it was for 2 appointments I had back to back for 2 teeth extractions and a cleaning, cleaning being first. I missed the cleaning, and right away, I explained that, and he said that she said I didn't even have that appointment when I was telling her it was an emergency. She said that originally while telling me as well it's my fault they kicked me out of the appointments today because the hygienist did not have time to see me today so because I didn't confirm they canceled my appointment. I said well can I at least get the cleaning since that won't take as long?" They were going to do that the next day....she also said I wouldn't be able to be seseenor over a month and a half! And I didn't even wait that long since my appointment to begin with. No, I'm sorry, nothing, and then I had 2 other people come out. 1 talked better and said you should have gotten a call to confirm....I didn't see that in the computer and told the lady to put my number in. Then the other lady said I needed to call 48 hours before my appointment to confirm! What's the point of makeong a appointment! There's an option I pointed out on the bottom of the text that I can opt out of. So I DO NOT HAVE to hit confirm. I don't have to even receive the message. I don't have to have a phone to have an appointment...it wS made for that time and date, so that should have been the time and date. Not canceled and moved a month and a half away! I hate how I was talked to, how wjen I asked if they would have time for the cleaning she said " you exspect us to take time out of our day, to make time when you didn't make time to confirm your appointment "? Then I asked what the point of me arguing with her was I'm not going g to be seen today, ?. and I SAID because thus is not right! I want to make sure that this doesn't happen this way again. So....she said then call 48 hours ahead to confirm. I said no, that I'm not treated this way! Simple apology if we have an opening we can call you sooner...they confirmed my confirmation and rhe other lady also said I didn't confirm till I was on my way there too so also wanted to talk about me when I walked out... because that was not true. I live 15 mins away. I confirmed 2hrs and 15 mins prior if they canceled. Why not call? I putnsooo much work into making it to my appointment today. I even had my dad and toddler with me. So he can sit with her while I was seen. And just because my insurance is paying doesn't mean I'm not paying customers! And the past 2 times prior since they had an attitude about me not following uo with my dental plan last time because they had 1 dentist and wanted me to wait 2 months to have a tooth pulled and made me come in knowing so thinking they would do it just to tell me no we can't for this long! So I had to go somewhere else! And paid 400 cash, then 320 for the other when it didn't even need removed just filled because they didn't have the ability to see me I time! So I should be pissed not the receptionist? Even the new dentist said yeah we just got new dentist....and I'm assuming since I was their 3 wks prior, they quit! So ,take it out on me? The lady who spoke to me needs fired. A simple sorry we had to cancel your appointment would have been fine. Not it's your fault and we can't see you till April 30th

Fantastic experience: The lady that does my cleaning is great. I have sensitive teeth so see uses a numbing gel so it don't hurt. She is fast but does a good job. The dentist on the other hand is not friendly in my experience. My appointment to get my tooth filled got pushed back because she went on a week's vacation. Ok fine, but then she went on another vacation for the whole month of July and my appointment got pushed back till September. I'm not happy. I need my tooth fixed. I hope it's not worse by that time. I'm thinking about finding another dentist who cares about there patients. Because I don't believe she does. She could have at least got someone to fill in for her when she went on vacation. Or at least got me in sooner instead of pushing my filling back 2 months. Today my appointment was for 11:15 am. They didn't call me back until 12:10. Which was very inconvenient since I had another doctor appointment for 1 o'clock. But the dentist that seen me was quick. I had an extraction done and he was good. It was the best extraction o have ever gotten. And I made it to my next appointment. Today, they get 5 stars. I had a tooth pulled last week. Today, I was in a lot of pain & couldn't get through to them on the phone. So I went into their office. Even though I didn't have an appointment, they saw me right away. And looked at my mouth. Taking ex rays and giving me a prescription. Thank you for carrying.

Negative experience: I received this request for my opinion on on 9/19. It’s now 10/1 & i still do not have a set of dentures that fit. Ive been calling since last Friday to simply get an appointment. Today out of Frustration I went to the office at 2 o’clock to try to get an appointment scheduled after leaving a total of six voicemails. The first available appointment was not until 10/8. I explained that I am unable to wear the dentures without my gums, bleeding more than two hours. at which point I asked to speak with Christy who is the supervisor. get this one of the front end clerks while she was on her cell phone sending a text i presume Over her shoulder said that Christie was in a meeting. OK then I’d like to leave a message for her to call me. as of 6 PM today. I never did get a phone call from Christie. I would say that’s an awful long meeting. The office staff is a complete joke. This is the second pair of dentures this office had to make because they screwed up the first set so badly I can’t get another dentist to touch me because of these dentures. I don’t have five or $6000 to go to an outside dentist and start from scratch. I’m stuck dealing with these incompetent people. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. I gave them one star on this post because that was the only way I could get it To post

Fantastic experience: Got a root canal and didnt feel any pain WHAT-SO-EVER! 5 stars without a doubt! From the receptionists, to the hygienists, to the Doctor . . . ALL FABULOUS! I was referred here for a root canal and though my appt to see if yhe doctor could even perform it was scheculed out pretty for but the amazing scheduler had such good energy. She took my number and said she'd call of there was a cancelation, and within, I thnk 2 days, she called and I was scheduled for the next day. I get there, doc says she can do the procedure. There was another cancelation and they were able to get me in for the root canal the following day which was today. The doctor is phenomenal, as my root canal was a tough one and she nailed it. And the hygienist was not only knowledgeable, but pleasant as well as amazing at her job as well, being tht she restored my tooth. I will admit there is a wait, but with service like this, it's worth it. I've been to many offices all over this area and haven't been that happy as my reviews will tell u. However, dental express BOARDMAN changed my mind about ohio dentistry. Thank god

Fantastic experience: Great dentist office. They get right back to you when you call. And when you go in the nurses and secretary are so nice and helpful. And I just had my dentures made there by Dr. D and he is amazing. He always makes sure everything is okay. Also he asks how your day is going. He is a very caring person. And you can tell he loves his job. I would recommend this dentist because of the one amazing person that always tries to make the patient happy ( Doctor D)

Fantastic experience: Have to admit I was a little nervous but everyone from the receptionist to the nurse and the doctor made it as good if an experience you can have at a dentist I had a full extraction for dentures and absolutely no pain during the surgery as I'm writing this 8 hours later I feel pretty good I highly recommend this establishment

Negative experience: After finally being approved to get a crown on my root canal I got the temporary crown on then had to wait two whole months to get the real one placed on my tooth my appointment was set for 9am on September 11th I confirmed my appointment via text message on September 4th which I have proof of they then sent a text message confirming my appointment and even sent another text message on September 8th that confirmed my appointment on September 11th On Thursday September 5th I got a call from them while I was at work around 4:30pm confirming my appointment again I missed the call due to me being at work I then called back the number back 5 minutes later and got no answer so I did what they said to do which was leave my name and number with my appointment time and confirming the date of my appointment which I also have proof of so I thought I was good I get there today September 11th at 9am for them to tell me my appointment is canceled due to me not confirming my appointment and that they gave my appointment to someone else I was very upset due to the fact that I did confirm not once but twice I waited two months for my appointment then the lady at the desk offered no helping solutions for your guys mistake I did what I had to do she then tried to give me another appointment for NEXT month in October why should I have to wait that long for something you guys messed up? Another lady came over and gave me an appointment for next week but that is very unprofessional and very ridiculous on your end due to the fact that I have a job and a life now I have to rearrange my schedule and be inconvenience over your guys mistake

Positive experience: Upon reading SEVERAL reviews that were terrible..I can say that mine, was anything but. From the moment I walked through the door til the time I left, everyone was wonderful. I waited only 20 minutes to be seen and the woman who did my xrays was awesome!!!( set up my followup cleaning while I waited and I had it in my phone before I even left the building!) The dental hygienist was quick BUT thorough ( my teeth felt great!) And the dentist was wonderful as well. This was my first visit there and first time to a dental office in about 6 years. I cant wait to go back.

Negative experience: Sadly I don’t have any good review for them. Recently I had an appointment in Boardman branch to checkup my wisdom teeth those causing me trouble for couple months. Staff was not much welcoming and was in so much hurry. They had no time to listen to the patient. It felt like they just getting rid of tasks assigned to them. Their tools kits they used for x-ray was filled with water droplets as they were reusing those objects. When I asked the nurse about these droplets, she just smiled and said my daughter asked the same question and I said it’s just water. Aweful!! During X-rays one staff member talking nonstop with the nurse busy in X-rays and keep questioning the way she doing her work. Suddenly an other nurse appear to clean my teeth without discussing and explaining the situation to me. She was in so much hurry to start her work immediately. When I requested to let my husband in to discuss, then they refused and said it’s against our policy. When I asked for front desk to burn the CD of my X-Rays, she forgot to do even I asked several times. There were series of unsatisfactory events in that short appointment time. I would recommend a BIG “NO” to them..

Negative experience: Wait times are always atrociously long. You wait an hour for a room, then wait another half n hour for someone to come in. The service itself is good, they have always been good at what they do, but it’s just too long of a wait. Plus my appointment I had got canceled because the doctor was out of the country? They didn’t even let me know it was canceled until I called them. Overall, not a very professional establishment

Positive experience: The girls are very nice! My son had his wisdom teeth extracted and the orthodontist was very rough. I know it’s a painful procedure, but I’ve had this done and my oldest child neither of us experienced the tears inside our cheeks.

Negative experience: to give this office one Star would be an overestimation of the experience I had this afternoon. I have never been so horrified to be in a dentist office in my entire 65 years of life. This office was filthy from floor to worker!! The stench of the dentist office was Indescribable!! There apparently is no cleaning being done at that location in months!! I will never ever step into another dental Express office as long as I live!!!! I am still psychologically traumatized.

Positive experience: Went for the first time because it was only place that would take CareSource marketplace coverage. Waited a couple of months concerned about a possible cavity I’d spotted near the base of one of my left molars. Finally day of the appointment they gave me a good cleaning (the hygienist was professional, friendly and knew her job) but the dentist came in and barely glanced at each side, front and bottom with the little mirror tool and declared me cavity free. I called her back because I had a couple of questions, namely was she really sure I don’t have any cavities but especially in that region I was having sensitivity in the last couple months? She insisted I have no cavities. And for my second query, while she was still there, why did the appointment assistant notes say “I informed patient that if BP too high no treatment would be provided.” I *did* have a high BP in large part due to nervousness at being at the dentist's, but absolutely nobody once spoke to me to say anything about my BP being too high for them to do anything. In fact other than polite hello’s and my-name-is etiquette, nobody had actually spoken to me at all. The dentist looked and kind of caught herself then offered “Well we didn’t have to do any procedure after all, that’s probably why it wasn’t mentioned.” Which doesn’t really explain anything, since those notes were before the dentist had even seen me much less determined nothing would need to be done that day. I just nodded, paid my copay and left with my copies of the paperwork. I honestly don’t have a lot of confidence in today’s diagnosis. But I’m wondering if I can afford paying out of pocket to go to another dentist firm and get a second opinion (assuming I can even see anyone sooner than two MORE months, maybe longer). Or if I try to reschedule there because they already take my insurance, what’s to say any of the other dentists there operate any better, or would be willing to go back on what a coworker already diagnosed? I think I *will* have to go ahead and asap schedule with another dentist, and just try my best to find one that takes this coverage and/or file a dispute through my insurance. I can’t have a quick cursory examination that barely examined my teeth or x-rays stacked against what I’ve seen and felt firsthand is something going on in that part of my mouth, not if I need a filling or anything else done now before the problem gets worse. I’m not any sort of hypochondriac and in fact I’d love to sit back and just presume they were correct and I’ve got nothing to worry about. But then I had a cold drink that felt like a drill had jabbed into that same spot where my fingertip can feel a hole and in the mirror I can just barely see it). The hygienist was great. But the assistant/X-ray tech and the dentist both seemed more about rushing through the basics so they could officially say and think they’d did their due diligence. The facilities are clean and pleasant, and the admin staff out front seemed to have their act together. But if I don’t have confidence in the dentist, the whole reason and person why I’ve even come to the appointment, then the whole place doesn’t do me any good, and is actually hurting me by delaying me getting any care I suspect I may need. So if you need a dentist, I’d say this is a good place for regular cleanings. More than that, I can’t in good conscience recommend.

Negative experience: This place is horrible. Employees don't care about patients. I had a crown put on back at beginning of the year they ground tooth down to the nerves and a few days later crown come off had tooth pain immediately after procedure. I went back in they tell me the must have damaged the nerve and it would need a root canal now. They can do it in a month. I had knee surgery and they are telling me they are booked until October. This place I wouldn't recommend to euthanize an animal a joke of a business and service. Best thing they could do is close their doors. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD............

Negative experience: The people working office need education The only one that helped was receptionist. I had appointments canceled 3 times and they would tell me after sitting there 30 min. I have had my authorization with me for 4 months and they kept saying come back till we get it. I told them you have it you sent me a letter saying it also. I ended up with severe infection and very little tooth. A molar. The Dr is great and caring. And some assistants listen. But man. SHAME They got new computers and as I stood there she said computer just broke. I told her o no You need to make me appointment so I can get real cap I was suppose to have 3 months ago. I have to wait till end of Aug.

Fantastic experience: the people who work there is so pleasant.my dentist Dr D is awesome .he makes the beautifulest dentures,before I went to him I got my first set at Northside Hospital couldn't even wear them they was tearing my mouth up.then I found Dental Express and Dr D made my dentures they were nice and small not big horse teeth.they fit my mouth perfect.

Fantastic experience: From the minute I walked into the door & was greeted, everyone was wonderful& friendly, everything that I was having done was thoroughly explained to me. Normally I do not like going to the dentist. I needed more work done and my experience was so good, I actually made an appointment for the next day and they were able to get me in!

Negative experience: I was there for over 3 hours just for a cleaning appointment. After 2 hours I asked why it was taking so long and was told there was only one doctor. I feel like if they are that far behind they should inform people at check in and give them the option to reschedule. I understand things happen but communication is key.

Negative experience: The dentist is Great it’s just a matter of getting in to see the actual dentist. We have had half a dozen appointments that we showed up for and they either rescheduled it or scheduled us on a day when the dentist wasn’t in so I had to reschedule once we were there. I have been taking my kids to this dentist for over 10 years now and the past year it has been way worse getting in for appointments. They also changed to where they don’t allow a parent in the room with the child when they’re getting dental work done. When my child told them he wasn’t comfortable without his mom being in the room The lady looked at him and said then you should find a different dentist.

Positive experience: It so difficult to find a dentist that takes Mt daughter's insurance so I took her here. First appointment it was stated she needed a couple fillings and needed her wisdom teeth removed. They were so booked that it took them 2 months to book her to get the fillings done. They called a week before appointment to reschedule because they overbooked an put her on stand by for a week later. Only to fill one tooth and we would have to come back a month and a half later for the next tooth filling. All of these appointments and then asking when she would be scheduled for having the wisdom teeth surgery. Nothing but the run around! One said she's on a waiting list, another being told the orthodontist would give me a call. Now 8 months later I'm being told there's nothing in her file about needing her wisdom teeth removed ( even though the dentist told me this and showed me the x-rays)and my child is in pain due to them growing through the gums. Honestly if I find a new dentist/orthodontist we will not be going back. Poor management of an office.

Negative experience: So for my last visit they was suppose to give a silver cap and denied it because I didn't want the numbing shot they filled a chip in my tooth that's wasn't a cavity and the sealing broke so the chip is back which I didn't even need filled but yea upset because imagine coming for a cap and and getting denied bc u don't want the mouth numbing shot crazy

Positive experience: The staff was nice, a bit behind so the appointment took a really long time (a little over 2 hours). I debated on making this review at all because I genuinely cannot give more than 3 stars. The dentist herself was pleasant, if a bit rushed (again, they were behind). The hygienist was wonderful, explained everything and tried her best to make sure I was comfortable. My real problem is with the tech who first brought me back and tried to do X-rays - I do not think she should be doing X-rays at all. I am in intense pain because of the way she carelessly shoved the sensor around in my mouth putting it in angles that were impossible to “bite down” on, scrapping the hell out of the roof of my mouth and almost choking me with the sensor. While I am extremely thankful for the second tech who was able to finish my X-rays with ZERO pain, the first woman did the damage and my jaw is in so much pain for no reason, I will not be back for the wisdom teeth removal I need because I honestly do not trust them not to hurt me.

Negative experience: So disappointed had an appointment today 5/20/2024 they grind my teeth down to about a size of a sweet pea for crowns in the front of my mouth 5 teeth in the front of my mouth. After the filling came back later that day I decided to get something to eat chicken noodle soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. And one temporary crown fell out I called dental express back and were unable to get me an appointment until 6/12/2024. And later that night I was eating again and another one fell out. So now I have to walk around with my mouth looking jacked up until June

Negative experience: Highly dissatisfied every time I go there. I just had to wait an hour and a half in total and they got basically nothing done with me. I had to reschedule an appointment because I was there for so long and literally had to leave because I was going to be late to work and they still hadn’t cleaned my teeth or anything and that is all it was supposed to be. And this seems to be a pattern every time i go there. The waiting for very long periods of time, the just general environment of them seeming like they don’t care. Would definitely recommend at least hiring more workers to take care of the amount of people that they obviously cannot suffice. The orthodontist upstairs is much much better so it does make me a little confused even though they are probably seperate.

Negative experience: It was explained to me that they were going to do the secluded procedure. After being refered by their sister office. Although when I got there all they would do was an exam saying that they just didn't have the staff or time.

Fantastic experience: I have never experienced such a great dental group! Everyone from the moment I walked in was very professional, friendly and polite! I really can't say enough great things about this practice. I went to the office in Boardman Ohio so if you are seeking a dentist, I highly recommend them. Positive experience: Pretty fast to seeing you. I wasn't even done with my paperwork & they took me back. Finished up as the dentist was coming in to pull my tooth. I would recommend them to everyone. They take alit of different insurance. Always call ahead of time to make sure they take your insurance.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Brooks was patient with my daughter and did an excellent job pulling her 3 teeth out. She had a poor experience in the past, and she is no longer in fear to go to the dentist. The office staff were helpful as well.

All I can say is, there is a way to do all things and these ppl have proven to me to be genuinely authentic and a credit to their accuracy and professionalism. Negative experience: Stay FAR away from this place! I went in for a cleaning and told them I had some pain with one of my teeth. The dentist quickly said that I had a severe tooth infection and would need a root canal asap. I have had dental issues for years and have implants and not once has anyone ever said I had an infection or needed a root canal. the place was so dirty, very crowded, and they just book multiple people in one spot. I had a really bad feeling and something was telling me this place was off. I went for a second opinion and guess what, NO INFECTION! never needed a root canal and there was never an infection. so they lie in order to get more money and do procedures they can bill for. at the second opinion office they also informed me that no one ever billed my insurance for anything which seemed really shady. when I tried calling back to complain and ask questions they are very rude and hung up the phone on me. something is NOT right about this place! please find somewhere else for your dental needs.
