Fantastic experience: Very nice staff, punctual appointments, dentist explained every step

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient since 2015 and I don’t have any complaints. They’ve been wonderful with my children and myself. Reasonable pricing, very clean/sanitary and fast. I had my first root canal/crown this year and they made it in the office I was in and out in less than 3 hours. They listened to my concerns about being a speedy metabolizer to make sure they used enough to be fully numb during the procedure. Highly recommend you give them a try!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely the best! They were able to get me in quickly! Caring Dr and assistants! They went above and beyond. My visit was about 4 hours long with non stop work. I know towards the end we all were feeling exhausted, I really appreciate, despite the length of time, you never stopped being caring, patient and friendly! Thank you so very much! Fantastic experience: Friendly, professional staff., still true, but I am a little disappointed with my implant procedure. I never wanted them, but was talked into them. They are expensive, and I am having a little trouble getting them in. The staff is trying, but apparently my jaw bone isn't cooperating. I would have preferred a bridge, but was told a two-tooth bridge was impossible, even though they did one for my daughter. I finally got my implants, and so far they seem OK.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first time there and they were very kind, quick, and efficient. Mona and Dr. Ali knew I was nervous and explained everything to help comfort me. I go back tomorrow for a full exam and am feeling much less nervous about it now. August 2024- Still a patient here and they are still so wonderful!! They are thorough, kind, and always take my questions and concerns into consideration. Wouldn’t go anywhere else! July 2025- I was having severe tooth pain and by God’s Grace they were able to get me in the next day to get it pulled!

Fantastic experience: Yesterday, 6/9/2005, I had 2 crowns placed by Dr. Minotti and his assistant, Jessica. They did an excellent job! My teeth were prepped, the crowns were made in the office and placed in 2 hours. I couldn't believe how dentistry has changed. This is a state of the art dental facility and North Ridgeville is lucky to have it. My new crowns look fabulous. Thank you Dr. Minotti and Jessica. (Jessica even gives beauty tips.) I love them both.❤️

I was impressed not only with the people working there but also with their VERY HIGH-TECH approach to dentistry. They have many "tools" to use...God only knows how much all of that costs!! Negative experience: I had a regular cleaning appointment in November 2024 and had a poor experience with the dentist, and subsequently with office staff follow-up. I did have a great hygienist, and she told me everything was great and I had no cavities. Then Dr. Patel came in and spent a total of 4 seconds looking at my teeth and said I had 2 cavities that needed to be drilled, and that since I was 5 months pregnant they could do a local anesthetic. I turned to my hygienist and asked what happened- since she said I had no cavities. Dr. Patel interrupted and coldly said “well I’m the doctor and I just made my assessment.” Taken aback by the tone- I told her I would not be doing anything while I was pregnant, and she left annoyed. I had already declined X-rays and stated I was pregnant several times. It was an unnecessarily rude interaction, and I did not love how quick she was to do a procedure when I was clearly uncomfortable with any treatment outside of a cleaning until my baby was born. I understand that cavities happen- but her 4 second assessment didn’t make me feel confident in her diagnosis, especially considering other patient reviews. I was sent a text after my appointment to provide feedback which I clicked on, and it gave an option to have the office contact you if there was a problem. We’re 6+ months out from that appointment and no one has contacted me. I wanted to get a second opinion on the cavities, since I’m 32 and have never had one. 6-months later (May 2025) I went to a new dental office, and as I suspected, I have no cavities at all. My new dentist was very confused as so what Dr. Patel had seen that made her think I did. Consequently I’m very concerned not only with Dr. Patel’s tone and demeanor, but with her assessment of my teeth. When I called to discuss my experience (5/16), the receptionist at the North Ridgeville office was very kind and apologetic for what happened, but this is the only person I’ve been able to speak with. She said she would text the office manager (Susan) to let her know to expect a call from me. I’ve attempted to contact the office manager and left a message, but have not received a call back. Not shockingly- I’ve canceled my family’s future appointments at McCormack Dental, and would not recommend them based on this experience.

Fantastic experience: Terrific staff, dentists and atmosphere. Although not an active patient at the time, during a recent dental emergency the group took me in immediately. From signing in at the front desk to interaction with various staff members to terrific care from two of the dentists, I was relieved to be in the care of friendly, patient, persistent and competent professionals. I am now officially a patient of the group who continue caring for procedures required to complete the tooth reconstruction.

Wait times were always close to appointment times, the entire staff from beginning to end was openly friendly and eager to answer any questions and it is nice to see the same dentist every visit so far, unlike Aspen, you never know who you're gonna get when you go there.

Negative experience: I have never in my life had a such a poor dental experience. I also rarely write reviews but for the sake of everyone's dental health I feel I need to. I had a cleaning and was told I needed 2 crowns and several fillings. I went back and had my first crown and fillings done. After a week I was having a lot of pain with both the crown and one filling. The dentist said I need to go to a specialist to have a root canal on the crowned tooth because he damaged the nerve and he said the filling was fine. I went to a different dentist to get a second opinion. The crown and filling were extremely high. After the new dentist adjusted them almost all of the pain was immediately gone. I paid $600 for dental work, only to have the dentist not check my bite properly even after going back to get it evaluated. My new dentist also found that my tooth was cracked while getting a filling so now I need a crown on that tooth and all of the other fillings replaced because they were so poorly done. So not only did I pay for extremely poor dental work but now I have to get it redone! Needless to say, I'm not having Mccormack Dental do anymore of my dental work and it took 3 weeks and MANY phone calls to get my deposit back. My husband also went here for a cleaning and they wouldn't do the cleaning, saying that he had periodontal disease (he had no symptoms) and needs deep cleanings. In addition they said he needed 2 crowns, 8 fillings and a root canal (again, no symptoms). He went to my new dentist for a second opinion. They said his teeth and gums are very healthy and he needs 2 small fillings. I don't know what kind of business is being run here but I feel very strongly that they are trying to scam people into getting unnecessary and poorly done dental work. It is absolutely absurd.

Mandy is absolutely wonderful, answered all of my questions and is always so pleasant. Tiffany was so gentle when putting my implants in for the first time. Dr McCormack made my surgery comfortable and quick. All very professional 10/10 thank you!!!

Fantastic experience: I don’t like visiting dentists offices. I changed my thoughts after going to McCormack Dental. Everyone was friendly and professional that saw me. They all kept asking me if I was doing ok during my different procedures, and I was so impressed that there was no pain at all. This is my second visit there, with a third in September. I feel good about my teeth for the first time in years , and will continue to take care of my teeth as I get older. Negative experience: So I was in McCormick‘s dental office two years ago for a crown basically a year and a half ago 2023 and they said they did the root canal properly and they put a crown on it however, just this past December I started getting a throbbing radiating pain in the same spot And went to get x-rays done at another dental place which then told me that it was not fully fixed, and I had two canals that were still blocked so I had to schedule with an endodontist which was great and he fully took care of it for me, however due to the infection of not having it fixed the first time the crown ended up rotting through. I then had it retreated and was told to go back to the dental office. I had it done previously to have them redo the crown however, when I went back today, they told me that I needed it pulled in an implant put in which with all the treatment they have me going through it cost about $18,000 so me and tears went back to the original dental place. I saw the endodontist in and approached them with what they had told me the dentist there looked at it and said she would crown my tooth 100 times over and that there was no reason I could not get a crown put on so she is making my crown for me And this has been nothing but an ongoing disaster with them and lack of accountability. I am extremely upset. I left that office in tears thinking I had went through a retreated pain for nothing and come to find out it’s fixable and I feel completely betrayed by this dental office so I just want to warn you that if you get a root canal done on a molar there that they may just tell you to have it pulled and I will go get a second opinion because I’m sure glad I did because now I found a dentist who actually has compassion and willing to help me and standby what they originally said from their endodontist. PS seems a little money hungry to me

Negative experience: They told me last year they weren’t taking my insurance anymore. & told me it would be my last covered visit. They scheduled me this year and when I called to cancel the appointment because they DONT CARRY MY INSURANCE! The lady says “We do still cover your insurance it’s just that we were trying to get people to go to our new North Royalton location because we are at full capacity” I’m a North Ridgeville resident. 2 minutes away? Why would I travel miles away? So your new business can get some business? You could have said all this last year. Messy!

Negative experience: Our experience at McCormick dental group was subpar to say the least. We called ahead of time to make sure our insurance was excepted and my wife even had her first appointment there without problems. When I went for an appointment for an aching tooth shortly after, I sat in the waiting area for 30 minutes waiting on my appointment just to have the receptionist call me up to tell me they don’t take my insurance. The excuse was the person my wife spoke with was new and didn’t check it properly and they were checking on my wife’s visit as well. I would love to know why it’s so hard to find a dentist that excepts market place insurance especially when the dentist is on the insurance companies list. Apparently if you are self employed and have to get your own insurance no one will take you. I’m sure it has to do with money like it always does. Either way it’s a bad way of doing business.

Positive experience: The main internal staff are great. No complaints!! Unfortunately i have had many issues with getting reminder of appts i should not have scheduled. Calling in for a more emergent issue (abscess tooth/pain) and not given a timely appt.

Fantastic experience: I felt the staff were pleasant and very professional. The hygienist was excellent in explaining the different procedures for doing the X rays and gentle as she cleaned my teeth. The doctor was also pleasant and gave me some good advice about my teeth and gums.

Positive experience: Cleaning was extremely thorough and quite gentle, compared to previous cleanings. Not sure though that my mild pain was resolved. Advised just that it should go away, as a result of the cleaning.

Negative experience: Go elsewhere if you are looking for a new dental office. I give one star only because the hygienists who clean my teeth at my regular 6 month appointments are always polite and professional. The dentists are as well. If it were not for this aspect, I would give zero stars. The woman who answers the phone is unbelievably rude and unprofessional every single time I call. Not just once or twice due to maybe having a bad day. This is just clearly her demeanor and the type of person she is at all times. She has an extremely rude and unprofessional tone from the second she answers the phone. She then huffs and puffs at literally any reason for your call…assumes people are going to ask for something which was never even going to be asked…has a loud, condescending tone and acts so put out by extremely simple questions and tasks. This woman is not the only rude person I have dealt with. There is also a hygienist who was responsible for a sealant appointment in the past. She acted exactly like the lady answering the phone personality wise, and she was so rough with my mouth and had zero “bedside manner”. Just extremely rude. Along with all of this, THEY canceled an appointment for my son same day then didn’t even try to work around to get him in prior to 6 months later. This would have meant my child would have went a full 12 months without a 6 month check up/cleaning. I would call almost every day to check for cancellations to get him in sooner, only to be greeted with the rude person answering the phones telling me “there’s nothing she can do…they’re busy…it is what it is!” I’m generalizing here, but that’s the summary of how she behaves any time I have called there. I hate even calling there to make appointments, figure out billing questions..anything at all. All because I know how I’ll be treated for simply calling the office to give them business. Also, the fact that they are so busy they cancel appointments same day and don’t even try to get even a child in prior to a one year mark for their check up…and just put in on the parents/patient to call every single day to check for cancellations and deal with the obscene lack of customer service and professionalism demonstrated by the woman answering the phones. When they are responsible for a same day cancellation, then they should be working to get a patient in sooner than 6 months later. Long story short, they do not appreciate their patients. They are far too busy, and just do not care whatsoever about how they treat patients. There are many other dental options. I highly recommend going anywhere else. North Ridgeville Family Dentistry is only 1 minute away from this office. Definitely go there instead. They are top notch with everything, especially professionalism and customer service. They are no longer covered by my insurance, but I am going back to them due to how horribly I am treated at McCormack Dental.

Fantastic experience: It should be re-named "Fantastic Sam's" because of my experiences in the chair with Samantha! She is really great, but just one of the very friendly, considerate, quite thorough and professional staff at this business. Our DDS of many years retired and a friend reccomended McCormack. Changing any medical providers always comes with the fear that the new, unknown doctors and facility will "never be as good as..." Fortunately, that was not our experience here and we couldnt be happier.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here since I was a young kid, and now I take my 3 year old son as well. They’re great with adults and kids, and have always been helpful when dental concerns have come up. I’d recommend them to anybody!

Fantastic experience: I had a failed implant. It was a long process and frustrating - it got infected. I was planning on just having a missing tooth. Dr. McCormack and Dr. Griggs encouraged me to give it another shot. They also did not charge me for any part of the second attempt that I already paid for the first time, which is amazing. They are great to work with. I just had the part that failed redone last week at no charge. Fingers crossed.

The Dentist (Dr. Griggs) was very good and I would definitely recommend McCormack Dental to my family and friends! I had 6 teeth pulled and I really didn't feel any discomfort in the process of the dentisy pulling the teeth! The assistant made sure to make me feel very comfortable with the whole procedure! Fantastic experience: Very friendly people, not the cheapest around, but in experience cheap ain't good and good ain't cheap. I like the way they do business. They hire amazing people. That actually care about the patients. Had an emergency and they were amazing at getting me in when I needed them most. Great people.

Negative experience: I spent two hours in the office and left without scheduling anything because I had to get back to work. After extensive X-rays, photos and gum measurements I waited over 20 minutes to be seen by a dentist who then basically asked me what I wanted. I got the impression they cared more about offering cosmetic improvements than helping me with my oral health. It was extremely frustrating. I’ve never been in a dentist’s office that long in my life without accomplishing anything such as a cleaning or filling. Very disappointed overall.

Negative experience: Arrived for appointment at scheduled time just to find out my insurance was not accepted. Insurance information should be collected at the time of the appointment being scheduled to avoid wasting an individual’s time. Receptionist at the front desk seemed pretty adamant the insurance I used before was a policy provided by the government (Medicaid). Even when I explained to her I know I didn’t have or use an insurance provided by the government, she still insisted. Receptionist needs to be educated that not all minorities are low income/uneducated and to never assume. I do not recommend this place.

Negative experience: This place is AWFUL! Every teeth cleaning service I have had here is where the hygienists are more focused on talking with their coworkers and other staff than taking care of cleaning teeth. I had a cavity filled there, where the people were talking so much that they missed a step and completely messed up my tooth, resulting in me getting it fixed at another place. AND, the last time I was there, the dentist stated I had ten cavities, but after getting a second opinion, I did not even have one. They also commented that my teeth were in horrible condition and that it may be due to my lack of healthy dieting, but have had braces and a great background of dental hygiene and care. The place I went to for another opinion stated I had some of the best looking teeth they have ever seen, and I cannot believe this establishment is fine with telling people false allegations about their teeth. I am extremely offended that the hygienist there tried to make it seem like what I was eating was the problem after she only looked at my teeth for five minutes before the next patient. Never coming back here, please do not waste your time.

Fantastic experience: We have been patients for several years having had some extensive work done. In our experience, McCormack has consistently been responsive when a dental need requires an appointment, though we generally go to North Royalton, we will go to North Ridgeville if appointment is available. Each location is professional and caring.

Negative experience: I will never walk in to a McCormick dental again. Simply rude and disgusting customer service from associates and especially from the manager of the North ridgeville location. They cancelled me and my mothers appointments for over a year and a half, due to them not being competent enough and phasing out insurances that don't suit there high statis. The manager at this location know nothing about customer service skills and let alone how the talk to people. So rude and very disappointed

Negative experience: One of the worst places to go since they moved into the new building. They frown on you if you don't have high priority insurance and the manager plus staff is very,ignorant, rude, disgraceful to those who are not part of her high society, self righteous attitude click. Plus even though you confirm appointments on phone or through text. If your insurance is low priority insurance,and not high priority they will literally bump you off the schedule say you never confirmed, when you did. Plus put another high priority insurance person in your place with better insurance for the appointment.This Happened to the point of so many cancellations that they did to me and my family that prolonged the process of care of appointments to now where we need corrections done. They have decided that if you Don't have high priority insurance you have to drive 45 -50 minutes out of your way to get care. Because they will only take high priority insurance.This is not the company I once new that was very sweet and kind,now I know why employees left. Very disappointed . Due the negligence of staff and management. I recommend going elsewhere.

Negative experience: This place is an absolute scam. They told my daughter she had 13 cavities...13!! By the way, she has never had one cavity in her life and she is 22. When she went back to our old dentist, she only had 1 cavity starting to form. This place is looking to rip you off and scam your insurance to pay for their new building. On top of that, they are unprofessional and rude. Save yourself the hassle and go to a real dentist who genuinely cares about their patients. If could give them 0 stars, I would.

Negative experience: Been going for years. This was the worst experience yet. The tech instead of asking to move my head would grab my jaw and forcibly move my head to suit her needs (no words just grab). Bad attitude from the beginning. Another reason to seek services elsewhere. And even my insurance company os asking questions on the billing practices, buyer be ware.

Fantastic experience: I came here as a new patient and was really happy with my experience. I’ve never had such thorough x-rays taken of my teeth! The dental hygienist did a very thorough cleaning, I visibly could see the difference in my teeth afterwards. The hygienist I saw as well as the dentist did an excellent job walking me through everything & everyone in the office made me feel very comfortable and at ease. You can really tell they care about you as a patient! I’ll be returning in a few months to have an old filling redone, then in 6 months for my next cleaning. I have had a lot of bad experiences at dentists in the past, and am overjoyed with how great everything went at my appointment. I was so excited about the experience I’ve already recommended to my spouse and my family!

Fantastic experience: It is not possible to say enough great things about my experience with McCormack dental! I had been dealing with horrible tooth issues for the better part of ten years due to medications I had to take earlier in life. The entire team is amazing. I actually live in Columbus, Ohio and came to the Cleveland office to have a hybrid denture in place of the handful of teeth that were sill there. My new teeth look amazing. When I first got to see them yesterday after surgery I started crying I was so happy:). The care has always been great and I have always been impressed. The thing that makes Dr. McCormack and his entire team different is that I can tell how much they care about me and my dental health. Before the procedure yesterday I received a message from Susan and the team in Columbus wishing me well. Everyone in the Cleveland office was amazing. I got to meet some people that assisted with my procedure yesterday that I didn’t even remember due to the drugs I was on for the surgery. I still remember how excited the Columbus team was when I made the decision to have the lower arch done. I could really feel how much I am cared about not only as a patient, but also as a person. With the state of customer service in 2024, it is so great to not just be just be another patient. They all truly care about me and are so excited for me to be able to eat normal. Simply put, it feels like they gave me part of my life back. If you you are tired of feeling just like another patient or number, please go to McCormack dental now! The care and concern they have shown me has made a huge impact on my dental health and life. Fantastic experience: I can honestly say that I am so impressed with the staff at McComack Dental. I called in the morning as a BRAND NEW patient to have a tooth pulled that was causing pain. They were able to get me in that afternoon. Every single employee was helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with explanations of treatment. Some even had me laughing at times. Negative experience: Our family has not had a positive experience with McCormack Dental Group. Our hygienist, Kathleen, was very sweet and did a wonderful job. Unfortunately that does not make up for the practice management. We have been patients for 2 yrs, but every appt they have called to reschedule - the "new" appt has to be scheduled months out due to lack of availability. It seems they have extremely high turnover, which is concerning. They will only schedule kids on Wednesdays - I believe the appt times are limited to the afternoon, which is very inconvenient for working parents. For example, I had an appt this morning scheduled for 8 am. When I arrived, I was told that their systems were down and they would call me Monday to reschedule. While I understand that situations arise beyond control, I am frustrated that no one called to cancel it this morning before I arrived. The person at the desk confirmed their phones are working. The overall feeling I receive is that they run their business to maximize profits without concern for patients.

Negative experience: Horrible place! Straight scammers. They do not know how to coordinate anything, constantly rescheduling and then they blame you bc the incompetent, untrained receptionist marks appointments wrong and says you reschedule an appointment when really it’s them. RUN AWAY DO NOT COME HERE THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT GIVE YOU AN APPOINTMENT OR KEEP RESCHEDULING. Rude staff STAY AWAY

Negative experience: If I could give them zero stars, I would. They messed up my teeth so badly that three months later, I’m at another dentist having their crowns taken out and new ones put in, at my expense. I haven’t been able to chew with my back teeth since they put these crowns in. Before coming to McCormick group, I could chew properly, not be in pain when I tried to eat, or have pain in my jaw. My entire bite is now off. They told me I needed a root canal and wouldn’t fix the crowns until I got a root canal. Upon seeing the specialist, who’s done root canals for 34 years, she told me I didn’t need one. For the consult I had to pay 200 out of pocket because McCormick group used all my insurance up. I went back to McCormick group and told them what she said and that I need them to make some adjustments, again. My jaw was in pain because my bite was off, causing more migraines for me, and my front teeth touch while my back teeth don’t anymore. Then instead of fixing the crowns, they told me I needed to go see a tmj specialist and gave me a referral. They said they wouldn’t correct my teeth until I got my bite looked at. I then made another appointment stating that I needed to get in because it had been two months and the pain hasn’t subsided and I still can’t chew food properly because my teeth don’t touch anymore. They told me I’d have to wait for 3 weeks to get in, even though I was in pain. I waited for my appointment, where I was told that, instead of fixing my crowns so they touch in the back when I chew, that they would file down my front teeth so that my back teeth touch. I didn’t think it was a normal thing to do, but figured they were professional and let them. My back teeth still don’t touch, because the crowns they made were too short. I have extensive pain on the left and haven’t been able to eat anything on that side, not even soft foods. My current dentist said my original teeth were filed down too low and it’s causing pain in the nerve. He also said by no means ever, should front teeth be filed down to correct the back teeth, so they will meet when I chew. The X-rays from my current dentist are insane, how bad they messed up the crowns they put in my mouth. I requested a refund and instead they told me I still owed them the 2300, that I already paid them. Luckily I had the receipt and pulled it up and showed them it had been paid. Now I have to pay several thousand out of pocket since they used all my insurance for the year, and when I disputed the payment on my credit card, they made a dispute back and refused to refund me. I plan on fighting this and getting my money back. I’d strongly advise you, please don’t use this dental office. They are terrible with patient relations and the work is shotty. I will never go back.

Fantastic experience: My mother (77 yrs old) has had some bad experiences with dentists. So much that she needs a sedative to help her through her appointments. This was her first time here and she had such a wonderful experience that she couldn’t stop raving about the staff at McCormick Dental Group. Positive experience: They were prompt with my appointment time. My hygienist did a great job! Kept me pain free and was very thorough. The rest of the staff is friendly and delightful!
