Fantastic experience: Malika at the Austell location was such a pleasure as always! She was very gentle and patient with not only my child on this visit but she has worked on one of my other kids at a different appointment. Im glad Dentistry for Children has employees like her that makes my kids comfortable and not afraid of the dentist and they want to keep coming back. Thanks to her we are all smiles over here

Positive experience: The people here are great! Those phone operators will make you turn around. I called 9/24 for dental emergency (swelled from a crown that was done here) she gave me a next day appointment. I cancelled and went to another dentist. Wasn’t even a patient there and they seen her the same day! Whoever that woman was, just rude and nasty. Rushing me off phone, didn’t have a care in the world. I wish I had her name to report her.

Fantastic experience: The staff was friendly and professional. It was our first time and my daughter was very nervous. The dental assistant, the hygienist, and Dr. Vaughn were all amazing. We were in a out in thirty minutes. Also the ladies at the front desk were all very friendly.

Fantastic experience: The staff was friendly. The wait wasn't long, and we arrived 7 minutes before our scheduled appointment. After we went back they were able to get bite x-rays on our newly 3 year old (which the staff member seemed super excited about) and awarded him with 4 stickers. Afterwards he went back to his cleaning and they were very accommodating to letting me stay and hold his hand, as well as informative on how we should be brushing. We will continue using this location even though it isn't the closest to us.

Negative experience: Worst experience I’ve had yesterday while at an appointment for my child. While getting X-rays done my child was not happy and of course was crying, the lady who was taking his X-rays was just being so rude rolling her eyes because he wouldn’t calm down. He is non verbal and is not the biggest fan of the dentist, find you he’s only 4 years old. Long story short we get a room since he’s not cooperating much. The man who is doing my son’s cleaning was just asking me “why is he acting this way?” Then proceeds to say “he’s making this harder than it has to be.” He then just stares at my son crying and tosses the tooth brush on the counter and says he’s not going to do anything further although i suggested bringing my child’s father into the room to help but he told me it wasn’t necessary (this is the only way he’s gotten his cleanings done and they went fine) The whole time it was just so unprofessional…but I will say thank you the doc & assistant who was patient with my child. I will not be returning to this location.

I had an exceptional experience with Victoria over the phone and she also greeted my family with a smiling face as we entered. Negative experience: My daughter’s first visit here.She has a history of seizures last one been almost one and a half years ago. Front office, X-ray technician were very good. The male hygienist ( forgot the name) was very rude and refused to clean my daughter’s ,s teeth , other words were said to me which shows ignorance and don’t care attitude. Being in healthcare ourselves , this hurts so bad seeing a fellow healthcare worker being rude. It’s not like he was giving her meds, he was meant to only clean her teeth! Dr Mina Youssef was excellent , such a gentleman and caring.He cleaned her teeth himself.

Negative experience: Worst experience ever! I brought my kid in for a simple cleaning. Our TC was so horrible her name is Cynthia of what I remember. She rushed explaining my daughter’s treatment plan. I was trying to understand each treatment and asked about prevident her communication is so poorly I had to google it myself to understand. DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE. You don’t know what they’re going to do with your baby’s.

Negative experience: The wait today was extremely too long. I was there over 3 hours .

Fantastic experience: Dr. Johnson and Mrs Laura was awesome!!! My granddaughter had to get a filling done. She was so nervous because the first time she had a rough experience. They was so patient and talked to her the whole way. They got a thumbs up after they was done!

Positive experience: This place gets more ridiculous with each visit. They give you a hard time about getting an appointment then you get there and have to sit a whole hour AFTER the appointment before my kids are seen. I don’t want to hear nothing about yall moving on kids time cause it’s not that it’s yall timing! You have me sign some papers at check in but don’t mention there’s more til 30 minutes after I been sitting there waiting on them to be called! Then yall want to look at people crazy. The customer service is not what it should be!

Fantastic experience: Dentistry for children treated my children so delicately catered to every need. I was extremely impressed by the office staff and how they were able to deal with children with anxiety to the dentist office 10 stars for this company.

Positive experience: We waited forever to get a cleaning. All the chairs were open. I had to ask before someone said my 3yo may need a private room since he cried with X-rays which they only have 1 of. The dentist suggested another room which was open. The staff are nice enough but sitting with no information is wild. Especially when every chair is available.

Fantastic experience: I am totally impressed with this office! As soon as I walked in, the front desk girls made me and my children feel very welcomed! The young lady who checked me in was very nice and made sure I understood everything that I was signing ( which is incredible because most places just have you sign stuff without even letting you know what it’s for ) We were then called back for X-rays in less than 10 minutes. The X-rays techs were so gentle and showed so much care for all the kids that were getting X-rays. They made sure to walk the patients through the process of getting them done. Once we got to the back yasmin and the other girls were AMAZING. She explained everything to my 4 year old son and I was honestly shocked that he didn’t shred not one tear due to his past experiences.the team also did an amazing job with my daughter. Once we were done, our assistant Yasmin walked us out and went over my children’s treatment plan. She made sure I was comfortable with what was getting done and answered all my questions without any hesitation. I love how she took the time to hear my son out and actually made them feel like they were at a safe place and not just some random place. As I checked out, I believe she was the manager Alana made all my futures appointments and thanked me for continuing to come to this office and then asked me if there’s something I would suggest to improve for next visit but there’s nothing they could do. My experience here was amazing and I know they will continue to do good and care for all these children. Keep up the great job!

Negative experience: Called 2 weeks in advanced to make appointment. The day of the appointment I get my granddaughter there after taking off work for the appointment to be told her appointment was canceled cause we did not confirm. I never got a phone call or a message or a-text to confirm any appointment. They could not tell me why a message was not left. They don’t bother calling to confirm and then they just cancel the appointment. I would not waste my time making an appointment it will just get canceled with no calls or anything.

Negative experience: I used to come here a lot for my children, but today had been the worst! I came for an appointment for my children, and my 5 year-old baby was getting a crown. I had signed for the crown. Doctor Darius Sansord and a nurse (I didn’t catch her name) were treating the tooth, but they took the tooth out from my five year old instead of putting the crown over the tooth. They are not professional! I wont be going back!

Negative experience: I don't even know how this business is still open. They are very inconsiderate and not organized at all. My son appointment has been scheduled for weeks. We get to his appointment today, we have been waiting a whole hour they have called people before us and after us. I finally check to see what's going on and they tell me " oh we don't have the supp to do his procedure today." So no one was going to tell me that, yal were going to just have me sitting here all day and no say anything. When yal called to confirm the appointment yesterday no one could let me know that you didn't have the stuff to do it before I came all the way out here. And then there is nothing they can say or do about it and apparently there is no management here. This is not the first issue I have had with these people. Do anyone know a good children dentist because I am so done?

Negative experience: WORST EXPERIENCE. My daughter has been coming to this practice for a little while now and I had the most upsetting experience. My daughter had to get her last two cavities filled and she was good all the way up until the dentist started to drill her tooth. I am assuming that my daughter felt the drill and knowing my daughter I felt her spirit in pain. My daughter became very distress and I felt helpless as a parent because mommy couldn't help her because the dentist and his assistant were at a point of no return. The doctor advised that if I'm going to be on hands and foot duty then I need to be on hands and foot duty. The dentist and his assistant proceeded to use a tool that widens the mouth and my daughter's mouth was in an unusual and uncomfortable position increasing my daughter's distress and pain. As a parent, I couldn't stomach what I was witnessing. I had to tell them that I had to exit the room because I knew they were getting ready to use the board to strap my child down to finish the process. Talk about traumatizing. Two weeks ago, my daughter was seen by a female dentist who catered to her age. She was more kind and kid friendly than this male dentist. The female dentist and her assistant who initially did her first cavity treatment were gentle, kind, caring and wonderful all around. My daughter was cooperative and felt safe, and I felt safe as a parent. After yesterday's visit with a male dentist who lacked kid friendliness, I am not comfortable returning to this practice. The energy was definitely off. When my daughter started gagging from the mouth piece that pushes down her tongue, they resulted in plan B. At that point, plan B made the experience even worse. My daughter could hardly breath at that point. She was screaming at the top of her lungs because she was in pain. Mind you, my daughter is 4 years old. I was advised that the manager was away at a meeting so I couldn't talk to anyone regarding any of my concerns. As I waited patiently outside the door, I had to listen to my kid holler and scream for her life. I was told about other sedative processes after her procedure was done. It was as if I didn't have any other option other than laughing gas and a board used to strap kids down. The laughing gas was not beneficial but then again, it may be that things weren't done properly because we didn't have that issue at the start of her first treatment when the female dentist first did her treatment. I also think that they didn't numb my daughter's mouth probably. I am highly disappointed and disturbed by this practice. This was a very unpleasant experience which made me sick and disgusted by how cruel a dentist could be towards a four year old. I don't feel comfortable taking my daughter here anymore. What's even sickening is being told that no day is the same to try to justify that this happens all the time. At this point, this experience is not usual because it wasn't like this the last time. I know my daughter and my daughter spirit was calm until the orthodontist started to drill into her mouth and she felt it. I'm telling you my spirit didn't sit right. I was terrified and I am a calm person but it was sad to see and hear my daughter screaming for her life, veins popping out of her neck, gagging due to the force and trauma being done to her mouth. It was as if my preschooler was tortured in the dental chair. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. I DON'T WISH THIS ON ANYONE! For dental treatment for the little ones, please have dentists who TRULY specializes in preschool aged children and have a good rapport, kid friendly and are interactive. Also, a manager should be readily available to address any concerns that arise. It isn't my fault that this doctor had to come into the office on his off day. Already a Bad experience right off the back. I am telling you this doctor acted as if he didn't have time for this as if he was annoyed once my child started to feel pain. Patient Experience and Satisfaction needs to be a top priority, so I hope this practice improves on their processes.

Negative experience: Check-in and check out is always long waiting since the first appointment. Every second visit, they recommend a bigger / surgical / extraction process, which cost a lot. I've never seen a doctor , staff on the floor are kind and trained to clean and clean and clean. They are professionally money-making people. Not a care or any medical service provider. They don't and can't perform any surgical process . Wish we (parents) had more options in this area. I'm still searching for another clinic for my kid.

Negative experience: Absolutely WORSE location ever with the least amount of urgency from manager. My son has received neglectful care from this place, his teeth have shifted dramatically because staff don’t know what the hell they are doing. I have been asked why he is being seen?!? As if they don’t have patient charts!!! I will be reporting them to GA board of dentistry. & don’t bother calling their call center its just as wack. What a joke!

Positive experience: The service is great, but ever since I started coming here they always in up canceling my appt. I work M-F so I have to schedule on Saturday and they only do ONE Saturday a month and you have to make appt ahead of time. I do all that and they still in up canceling and they say can u come during the week No!! Thats why I scheduled month in advance. Now my children have the wait another month for a cleaning. Sad‼

Fantastic experience: I brought my daughter to the Austell location our 1st time!! We usually go to the Smyrna location. I must say this Is Thee best experience we have ever had!! It's soo beautiful on the inside!! Very clean and smells like Sunshine . They have free arcade game for the kids to play and The best customer service!! The Dentist was very nice and so were the nurses who check you in!!!!!

Negative experience: Self-explanatory! Very unorganized saying my son didn’t have his six month cleaning months later which I knew that was wrong , waited 30 to 45 minutes for them to realize that they made a mistake, Very disappointed!!

Negative experience: I am beyond distraught and disappointed in the service of this location. My 4 year old has severe damage to her mouth and after being told we had a 330pm appointment and coming all the way from stone mountain and missing work the receptionist sat there and ignored us as we waited. Then Ms Yasmine Ortiz finally after 20 mins tells us they don't take 330 appointments unless it's an emergency which this was and there were no doctors available to take her to the ER where they do nothing that were not already doing. I'm crying my daughter is crying this is unacceptable. If my daughter has lasting damage from your negligence, I will be suing and I will sue you Yasmine personally. Do you have kids? Do you know what it's like missing work driving 40 mins in traffic while your only child's tooth is shifted in her mouth unable to eat solids go to daycare etc to be ignored and told go home. Unacceptable. I've already contacted the BBB enjoy your new rating.

Negative experience: Today the Dixie was rude & mean to my daughter. She was in so much pain she could barely open her mouth. After the nurse advised her she refused to take it serious and got an attitude because my baby couldn't open her mouth wide enough. She was nasty, rough and rude and very lucky I wasn't near.

Negative experience: Slowwwwww! Expect to spend 2hrs+ here.. slow as crap It’s so many people In here it look like the DMV. Your shoulder to shoulder with all kinds of ppl.. ITS Packed!! They are obviously over booking?? This will be the last visit. Going to a small family dentistry.

Fantastic experience: In my attempt to get information regarding possible payment plan for my son’s oral surgery, I ended up speaking with Ms. Keyon ( not in oral surgery department). Not only was she well informed, patient, and relatable; but also went above and beyond by moving an appointment for me. Keyon, also explained that if I see an alert regarding that appointment, it takes 24hrs for it to process in the system. Though I didn’t exactly get the information I called for, she provided me with what l needed to obtain it. Keyon exhibited excellent customer service, and I greatly appreciate it! She’s definitely an asset to this company!

Fantastic experience: I've been with this practice for years with my 4 kids and love them. They're great at bundle scheduling so I can bring them all at once. The techs actually talk and make conversation with my children. They are worth the drive we make and have other locations to make scheduling fit my needs even better. My kids love picking prizes (good ones!) off the wall after their appointments and look forward to going here!

Positive experience: I would like to thank the light skinned young pregnant lady for being patient and helping me today. I had an issue with my insurance not being in the system. Although, my insurance wasn’t verified prior to my visit she was able to take care of the issue. Thank you and sorry I didn’t get your name.
