Positive experience: Dr Lee was great, & hygienist. Signed in about 0650 for a 7am appt. Didnt get back to chair til about 0720. I had to leave @ 8am; i did not have extra time to discuss a possible crown.

Negative experience: Updating my review-the customer service and experience at the LaPlata location has declined drastically. Everything we initially loved has changed. My daughter is the only family member who still goes there and her appt was at 11am but guess what wasn’t seen until 1130am! Then her appt was hurried. I switched from the Waldorf Neibauer location and the experience is night and day! Front office staff was friendly, patient and genuine customer service. The hygienist, X-ray tech and dentist were nice and talked to you and not just at you. My appt didn’t feel rushed. Hope every appt goes like this!

Fantastic experience: Called on Tuesday because I broke a tooth. They had me to come in Thursday. I appreciate it they were able to get me in quickly. I also always appreciate how quickly didn’t get me back to see the doctor.

The dentist and dental assistants work as team players, If one is not available the others seem to cheerfully fill in. I definitely recommend Neibauer for your dental care.

Negative experience: 0/10 recommend this place. I’ve been meaning to make this review for a while now but about 2 years ago I made the mistake of going to this place for my dental care. First off, I had 3 dental insurances when I initially had my teeth exam/cleaning so of course I didn’t pay anything. I had to have a root canal due to a cavity (root canal was done at a referred endodontist) and the crown was placed at neibauer. When the crown was placed, I had changed jobs so I only had 2 dental insurances. I made them aware but they still tried to charge me $800 for just the crown. The crown that was placed 3 times because they couldn’t get it to fit. I took care of it the way I was supposed to but the crown was always too big because they could never get proper impressions, causing it not to stay. I currently do not have a crown due to this issue. In regards to the $800 they tried charging me, I asked several times if they ran it on both of my insurances. They said yes. I eventually called my primary BCBS plan and they said they had no claim on file. They even called Neibuaer and spoke to their billing person who lied to them and said I never provided them with the BCBS information. Not true as they even had the BCBS card on file bc I had uploaded it at my first appointment. The billing person at Neibauer told me to ignore any bills I got in the mail as it would take time for them to get the claim ran through the BCBS. I ignored the bills and I guess they never got the claim corrected so now I am paying $800 to a collections company thanks to Neibauer not knowing what the heck they are doing. Seriously, save yourself a headache and go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service. I called them to have a crown recemented and got an appointment for the same day, literally within two hours. The dental tech and dentist did a great job taking care of me.

Fantastic experience: They set up a same day appointment to remove a wisdom tooth that was causing me a lot of pain. The appointment was at 1pm and by 1:40pm the tooth was gone and so was my pain.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this dental office the dental assistant Sidney and Dr. Kim were absolutely amazing the way they treated me the way they treated. My daughter is my husband. It was just phenomenal care. I myself have a extreme fear of the dentist and have PTSD from a prior dental experience that was not well at another dental office and Sidney offered to hold my hand if I need it to want to just help me through the feeling that I needed to get at the time, my daughter had to have two teeth removed because they weren’t coming incorrectly, and they took great care of her. Well, and they walked my little baby around to keep her entertained while her sister was receiving care. I will never switch from this dental office thank you so much. My daughter had Dr. Lee that took care of her teeth removal and she did an amazing job and was just super kind and gentle with her as well

Positive experience: Cleaning with Dana was excellent; no issue with exam. There was confusion with my appointment. During my last visit for my crown, staff insisted I make a cleaning appointment even though I explained I already had one. This resulted in duplicate 6 month appointments.

Fantastic experience: In the last 2 to 3 weeks, our family, there are 9 of us, had our first dental exams in a long time. From setting up the appointment to checking in to getting x-rays and cleanings and checking out, we had an amazing and pleasant experience. The staff is super kind and with all my kiddos coming through there, they were very understanding and gentle. The dental hygienists are awesome and made sure that I was informed the whole time of what was going on with their teeth, the process, and even made sure that I knew procedures that were covered by my insurance before going ahead and doing procedures. My husband was even anxious about going to the dentist since he hadn’t been in so long and knew his teeth were probably not in great shape, but the dental hygienist was encouraging and didn’t feed his anxieties even though there were some things they found that needed fixing. The kind of care this place took of us was just awesome and made for a great first experience for all of us.

Fantastic experience: I have bad teeth. At this point, I’ve gotten accustomed to being treated a certain way by dentists. Either they think I’m deliberately taking poor care of myself or I’m just stupid, or whatever the case is - I always know that I’m going to be regarded with a certain disrespect or indifference at the dentist office. Dr. Lee has not been like that at all. She’s kind and helpful, explaining options and not just ignoring my concerns. I look forward to continuing my treatment plan with her!

Dr. Williams explained each step of my procedure and it took away my anxiety. I am very pleased that I chose to go there.

Positive experience: Long wait to be called back other than that everyone was very nice and dentist had to extract an unexpected cracked tooth and do a temp crown. Temp crown came out two hours later so I have to go back.

Negative experience: Staff was friendly. They work together very well and keep the patient informed of what's going on as they work. Great place to go. Be aware that the billing staff is horrible. They charge your insurance for things not even proformed on the patient. They charge for things that are free, which were advertised as promotional.

Positive experience: Our family has been coming to Neibauer Dental for the past eight years, and until recently, we’ve had mostly positive experiences. However, our last visit was disappointing. Both of my children had a 5:00 PM appointment, yet one of them wasn’t seen until 5:35. It seems like they double-booked the time slot, which is frustrating and inconsiderate—especially for busy parents with other obligations. Then there was our experience with Dr. Kim. Her bedside manner was lacking, to say the least. She seemed irritated when I chose not to take my child to a pediatric dentist as she suggested, and the way she handled the conversation was unprofessional. To add to my concerns, the practice previously told me that my daughter B had a cavity, but during this visit, they claimed she no longer had one. Now, they’re saying my other daughter has a cavity. Based on my experience as a registered nurse, I trust my own knowledge of preventive care, and I will handle it accordingly—just as I did with my other child. After this encounter, I no longer trust Dr. Kim with my children’s care. I can only hope her attitude wasn’t influenced by bias. Either way, professionalism and respect should be the standard for all patients, and unfortunately, that was not my experience this time.

Fantastic experience: I went in for my semi annual cleaning, knowing that I had a crown that fell out, and that there was another tooth that Dr. Kim wanted to crown. My cleaning went very well, and Dr. Kim and staff had two crowns prepped and temp crowns in place within 2 hours. This clinic is professional, and knows their jobs.

Positive experience: Staff is friendly. However, always need to go see a specialist or in need of special hardware. When followed up with referrals the orthodontist laugh and say it is completely unnecessary. This has happened on 3 different occasions. Braces for myself, braces for my daughter (who still has baby teeth, but will eventually need them in 5-6 years) and wisdom teeth removal for my husband. Literally the orthodontist laughed.

Negative experience: I had the worst experience and will never go back. I went in for a tooth extraction and had to go back several times as I had an infection and they did not know how to mend this. I was told to go to the emergency which I did, but that was only to ease the pain. Also, I received a large bill which I ma not sure how the submitted the claim, but my insurance which usually covers 100% only covered half. The staff may be friendly but not when it comes to getting their money for a wrong they did.

Negative experience: Run, do not go to Neibauer Dental in La’Plata. I had an appointment at 1:00pm today, so i decided to get there earlier at 12:00pm, no other patients were there yet. I’m the only one. I know I have to wait for an hour, I was fine with that. So when 12:45 pm get here, other patients start coming for their appointments. At least 7 other people. 1:00 gets here, and they start calling patients names at least 4. Mind you other hygienist is there. So they called me around 1:15pm, they examined my teeth, and I was told the hygienist will be with me. So I’m waiting patiently again, 20 min went past. I asked the assistant did the hygienist had another patient she said YES. I asked what time was there appointment she said 1:00pm. I stated mines was at 1 also. They schedule two people far as I know for 1:00, but me being the first one there, I should have been called first. I went back up to the front and told them what was going on. I mean every Single person who was at the front desk just looked at me. Didn’t apologize, didn’t try to rectify the problem or nothing, but ask do I want to reschedule, absolutely NOT, I’ve waited this long for my appointment. I will not be returning to that office…I’ve wasted my gas and time, I live almost 40 minutes away … Bad with Schedules. No Communication…..

All staff took great care of me and I especially appreciated Dana’s professionalism and upbeat demeanor. My teeth cleaning was extremely pleasant! I recommended the establishment to my family and would to everyone.

Positive experience: The last few visits, including this one, I had to wait just about 40 minutes. I scheduled my appointment early so that this wouldn’t happen. The doctors and hygienists are great, but 8am appointments should be able to be seen within 15-20 minutes.

She was so kind and sweet and explained everything so thoroughly. Dr. Williams is also really great. You hear so many dental practice horror stories I am so glad I have found the practice for me!

Fantastic experience: Everyone at this office is very professional and friendly. I had Covid for 2 weeks and couldn’t wear my Invisalign trays, my teeth moved so much I couldn’t get the trays to fit. I was nervous that I’d have to pay extra for new trays but Dr. Lee was very kind and said I needed a new scan to get new trays made. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: This dentist location is great. Fully staffed and respectful. Dr. Williams is the best she is very detailed and she answers all your questions. Danielle the hygienist was so gentle yet thorough with the teeth cleaning. Even my 11 year old son was able to handle what is usually a painful experience. My dental assistant (I can't remember her name) I wish I could was great! She was so personable I'm so upset that I forgot her name but she made my visit overall. W talked as if we knew each other for a long time and I just met her that day. Overall they will be our family dentistry until changes are made.

Negative experience: I saw Dr. Kim for invisalign back in the middle of June, she put the attachments on my teeth along with an assistant and then drilled on them for some unknown reason afterwards..... ALL of them fell off except for 1 by the next morning! I had to go back into the office and have someone else put them back on.....to have the last one Dr. Kim put on fall off!!! I wanted to change dentist to complete the process, the person working the desk advised me it would cost me ANOTHER $2,000 to change Drs. Please do your research before signing anything with Neibauer/Invisalign......it's quite apparent, Dr Kim is still in her learning phase and has NO idea what she is doing. My next point of contact is with invisalign to address them with the incompetency of this dentist working with their product and charging people an additional fee to work with someone else they feel more comfortable with!!!

Fantastic experience: Wow. I am a huge baby and have real problem at the dentist. I gag, I tear up, I squirm... giant baby. I mentioned this at the beginning as well as demonstrated my phobia throughout the appointment. All 3 dental associates were sympathetic and caring. I've never felt so good leaving a dentistry office and I now consider neibauer my only option going forward. Thank uou for dealing with me and making the environment comfortable enough to come back.

Fantastic experience: The dentist was kind, gentle, patient and spoke to me like a friend. She filled a cavity and then helped me with evening out my two front teeth. They were uneven from grinding them. I left Neibauer to go to another dentist because I moved, but I came back because I still work in laplata and I’m extremely happy with the quality of service that was provided to me today.

Negative experience: I’ve generally had really good and consistent service at this location, which I’ve been going to for probably 6 years now. However, yesterday’s experience was somewhat bizarre and disappointing. I asked for only a cleaning be done on my son because my insurance only covers two cleanings and one dentist check up a year. After leaving, I got a call from the hygienist saying that from now on me and my family members would be forced to have two dentist checkups a year and would have to pay for those out of pocket. How is it possible that procedures are forced on patients without their consent? This probably violates some law. I called back and left a message saying this was unacceptable to me. No response from the practice today.

Fantastic experience: Since I have been coming to the Neibauer at the LaPlata location, my experiences have been nothing but pleasant. They don’t appear to overbook, as my wait time to be seen is pretty much normal. The staff is always easy to talk with and they explain the treatment services you receive in detail.

Negative experience: Not very happy with the last visit. I brought my daughter with me for a cleaning as well, she had been going to another dentist since 2013 and returned yesterday. The faculty kept saying she hadn't seen a dentist since 2013 after I explained she went another dentist who also did orthodontist work and she recently got her braces off. No one came to explain my daughter's visit until I went to check out. I was then told my daughter has 13 or more cavities when we just had a previous check up not 7 months ago. This was a big shock to say the least. Then I was given a treatment plan that was not consistent through the billing which I had questioned but was not given any answer other than this only an estimate. I am going back to my daughter's previous dentist and go over the last visit. Also it seems that no notes are taken and put into my chart because I am consistently asked the same questions about if I have a mouth guard it worse than dealing with the hairdresser that makes commission off of hair products they sell. Not too mention the dentist was not very pleasant to my daughter and shamed her in front of other faculty. Not a good experience. I miss the staff from my previous visits.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Williams and Sidney made me comfortable during my extraction process. Sidney made sure to keep me informed with what all was happening during the process to help calm my anxiety. Highly recommend this office!
