Fantastic experience: Had a very good experience with my dental hygienist, Valerie, and Dr. Elzy at 901 Dental on U.S. Highway 64 Tuesday morning. It is a pleasure to go to their office.

Fantastic experience: Another great cleaning. Ally did an awesome job and even gave me some advice for keeping my implant clean. I barely spent any time in the waiting room and the whole visit wasn't even a half hour. I've been coming here for 2 years now and I'll keep on going back.

Fantastic experience: Went in for a wisdom tooth extraction, I was hurting bad. They got me in right away and jerked that puppy out of there as smooth as you'd please! I was really impressed with the kindness shown by all the staff, they understood that I was hurting and really took good care of me. Every step was explained and while a fairly forceful procedure it was done gently. Whole procedure took less than an hour and only cost $130 out of pocket with my terrible insurance. Thank you so much 901 dental!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience! I called on Wednesday, and they were able to book appointments for me and my wife the very next day, very accommodating and professional. The online patient forms were easy to fill out, and the office itself was clean, modern, and welcoming, with a mini-fridge stocked with bottled water at the front desk. They use advanced equipment, including a 360° X-ray machine and a small sensor for detailed imaging. Nicole, the dental assistant, was friendly and made the process smooth. Valerie, the hygienist, was knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and did an excellent job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Carla was thorough and professional, making the visit comfortable and reassuring. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: I don’t even know where to begin with 901 Dental. I went in for a root canal around January. After getting the permanent crown placed, I started experiencing pain that never went away. I mentioned it multiple times—after starting Invisalign, during cleanings, everything—and was repeatedly told it was “normal” pain from the trays moving a crowned tooth. At one point, Dr. Ellzey shaved the crown down. It helped briefly, but the pain returned and worsened. During another visit, I mentioned it again and the hygienist acknowledged it but did nothing beyond being gentle on that side. I kept questioning myself—was it Invisalign or was something actually wrong? I trusted the professionals. That was my first mistake. Fast forward to being out of town and in excruciating pain. I could barely eat. I couldn’t call at the time, so I texted their office explaining how bad it was. They said they’d send pain meds but I was flying home the next day, so I scheduled an appointment the day after I returned. At the visit, they took X-rays and once again blamed it on Invisalign and my wisdom teeth, gave me steroids and pain meds, and referred me for a wisdom tooth consult. No one mentioned anything about the actual crown tooth causing pain. I went to the oral surgeon that same day, and within minutes he told me the pain had nothing to do with wisdom teeth. he had prior x-rays from 901 dental that were so old they did not show i had a crown. he then took new updated x-rays and He said my crown was cracked, loose, and black underneath. He said it was emergent, and had I gone on my trip without treatment, something serious would have happened. He also questioned why I hadn’t been put on antibiotics, not steroids. I had the tooth extracted the next day. I’m 18 years old, now missing a tooth—something that could have been completely prevented if 901 Dental had listened to me. When my mom and I called the office to explain what happened, the manager began arguing with us. She insisted Methylprednisolone is an antibiotic (it’s a steroid—confirmed by the surgeon and even a family member who takes it for inflammation). She then switched stories and claimed Dr. Ellzey “knew there was an infection” all along, which makes no sense—because my referral only listed my wisdom teeth, not the crown (tooth 19). If Dr. Ellzey had any suspicions, why didn’t she inform me? I am a legal adult and deserved transparency about my own body. The manager also said she personally “looked at the X-rays” and believed my tooth would’ve been fine on my trip. That’s not only medically irresponsible, it’s dangerous. The surgeon—an actual specialist who examined me in person—said the tooth was decaying and something bad would’ve happened soon. He also said not prescribing antibiotics was unacceptable. 901 Dental repeatedly dismissed me, downplayed my pain, and only showed concern after things got serious. I lost a tooth because they refused to listen. They continue to make excuses and deny any wrongdoing. They say they “understand,” but they don’t. This was negligence—plain and simple. I’ve already switched to a new, reputable dentist through the surgeon. My advice? Trust your gut, not this place. 901 Dental will gaslight you, invalidate you, and act like you’re the problem. Do not go here if you want to be heard, respected, or properly cared for. You deserve better.

Fantastic experience: The entire 901 Dental team is 5-star. I hadn’t been to a dentist in years after relocating. I’d say I have some kind of dental-phobia after being in the chair so many times as a child & as a teen. I’m now in my 60’s and 901 has restored my faith in the entire profession. I could be a candidate for the ADA’s poster child, so my opinion is steeped in merit. I highly recommend them. No pain. No embarrassment. Just super high-quality care. And they were very respectful of my time. Well done!!

She answered my questions and also referred me to a specialist for some speciality periodontal work. There was no shaming me for a way overdue visit. A very relaxed atmosphere. It made a not so pleasant thing to do, very endurable!

Fantastic experience: Everything went perfect this morning. Was able to start early and the procedure and cleaning was thorough.

Negative experience: Very poor experience here. Had a filling done that fell out twice within 3 months: once after the original and once after they fixed it again. My bite was off with the filling as well. They also did not properly evaluate my teeth and failed to find 5 cavities and two broken molars that another dentist easily discovered shortly after I was seen at 901 Dental. They also seem to have a high staff turnover, including the doctors. I will never return here and would HIGHLY recommend you go elsewhere for your dental needs.

Negative experience: I had a deep cleaning down on Tuesday and Thursday. Tuesday went OK but Thursday I’m still trying to recover from and it is Saturday morning. The numbing medication is still with me. My tongue is numb side of my mouth is still numb. I called several times But 901 Dental and have not gotten a response yet. The phone keeps going into voicemail. As of right now, I am not pleased with the service I received.

Know that they have a plan to make it look better so I went and on my first fitting, I asked my dentist my dentist, which is Dr. Elsie and her assistance is good and the office staff also are so sweet with their texting and back and working in And just always making room for me but if I could get in touch with Dr. Halsey right now I would tell her how great of a job she did today when I just ask her and told her what I wanted, she said I’m not sure and I said yes ma’am we can get another one but come on And she made me so happy like I said I plan on doing something for the staff, but she fixed me up and she gets a 10 star at a five star will be fine. I wish she knew how appreciative I was.

Insurance verification fast and profile for initial set up even faster. Let me tell you that when scheduled for an appointment that your are being called back to get to the business as fast as you could sit down. You can clearly see how well the entire team work together to make things happen. I'm talking about from admissions to the hygienist and from the hygienist to the doctor if needed to check out. I was being over charged for a long time at another dentistry. These ladies have the best spot in Tennessee and they are gentle professionals. This review can't express how I feel when I enter that building and leave out with that new feeling in my mouth!!!

Negative experience: Do not go here. Your crown will only last up to one year. For a $4500 service. There is no warranty on any additional services NOR LAB REPLACEMENT OF DEFAULTED/HALF-SUITIABLE TOOTH-UNLESS THERE IS additional payment and fees-another $4500-SHOULD HAVE KNOW WHEN I HAD TO BE FITTED 3x before it was actually places-2x it was cut to big- 3x my mouth was too numb to know it was cut to small-If you’re in the market to have your tooth REPLACED annually “for a CROWN” like you buy a new pair of shoes-best of luck!

Fantastic experience: 901 Dental was a great experience. This was my first appointment and they were able to fit me in on a late cancellation that was just before I called. They took my x-rays then the DDS explained my dental profile. The dental technician was very nice and thorough with my cleaning. I now have a new dental provider, and they scheduled me for the next appointment in 6-months. Excellent service and very professional. The wait time was minimal.

Negative experience: Have been coming to this location for a while now but today iHad to reschedule my appointment but the where going to charge me 25 for not being able to come at 4 I was going to reschedule though wow sad Was not canceling was trying to reschedule so you should not be charging me or anyone 25 dollars I was rescheduling. It's should only be if someone doesn't show up NO CALL NO SHOW but I will take business elsewhere good response team and not a good resolve

Negative experience: I didn't see Dr. Davis around anymore but she threatened to withhold my deposit even though I personal family issue come up last min. I find this to be greedy and trying to screw me over. I hope they change this policy. To anyone putting a deposit down be careful, think twice because they can find reason to take your money instead to trying to work with you.

Fantastic experience: I had a small chip in my tooth, however it was the front tooth and of course it felt HUGE! I called that morning around 11 and they got me in for a 2:30pm appt! Everyone was super nice and welcoming, and the dentist was awesome. I told them I’d just seen a dentist 3mo ago for a regular visit but they hadn’t done a cleaning. So once she was done fizing the chip (like 10mins) I was able to get a full cleaning as well. Great service and I’ll probably become a regular. Highly recommended!!

Positive experience: I got in quickly and got good care. It was odd that no one really talked to me though. The woman at the front desk was much nicer on the phone. She seemed annoyed at all the patients and other staff. My hygienist didn’t speak to me unless I asked her a question. The healthcare is fine but the customer service isn’t.

Positive experience: Everyone was great! Dentist was very nice and empathic. The only thing that was not great was the prescription written for pain for a very bad infection was unable to be filled because the DEA number was not on the script and he was still in pain ALL weekend because of it. The office closes at 3pm on Fridays so of course no one was there to fix the issue. Not a fun experience

I haven’t smiled in 4 months because of the terrible job that the other dentist did. I had a botched root canal done 4 months prior and it broke. I called around and couldn’t get into anyone for a couple weeks. I called 901 and they got me in the same day! When I got to the office the staff was amazing! The receptionist, the dental assistant, and Dr. Karla all were sooo nice and friendly. The office was very clean and welcoming! She fixed my front tooth and now I am smiling again!
