Comfort Dental - Cottonwood

Negative experience: Dr.Bo is absolutely amazing this is why I keep coming back. The staff in the back are always amazing receptionist in the front is always unpleasant. I called yesterday after we left there to see if they could email x-rays to the referred dentist. Nothing was ever sent that I called again. The girl was so rude.

Negative experience: My son had an appointment tomorrow for root cancels and crown. We had made sure that we called more than 24hrs in advance. We spoke to Emelie and she would not schedule him a new appointment, because we have already rescheduled in the past, no one ever told us if we need to reschedule in the future that we would have to pay half over the phone. Also when they called to remind of an appointment , they also said if you need to reschedule, please give us 24 hr advance notice, which we did. When we called earlier today, they said we will not reschedule your son unless you pay half over the phone. We only canceled when he was sick or I was in the hospital, which we always give them the notice right away. We have tried to get earlier appointment to start with, but they usually schedule so far out, we could already had this work done already. We have already spent thousands of dollars out of pocket already. They will not reschedule tomorrow's appointment unless we pay half over the phone. I believe this will be over $2000 for half. We also use carecredit. I do not think you can use carecredit unless it is the day of service. What happens if someone went ahead and paid the $2000 before day of service and the person got sick again or was in an accident, etc and someone was able to inform you all more than 24 hr notice that the person was unable to make it because of being sick, hospital, acidient, etc. Would you keep the entire $2000, even though they received no service and you were able to fill that slot with someone else because we gave you notice. Even if you didn't fill that slot, sometimes things do happen, like example illness that no one can control.

Fantastic experience: Dr Young was very pleasant and gave me options. Overall, relaxing experience as I have anxiety.

Positive experience: Front desk reception & provider have excellent customer service. Other than that the building was overwhelming with the air fresheners and the lady that cleaned my teeth smelled of heavy cigarette smoke. This was hard on my asthma. The check out reception was nice but took 20 minutes to check out due to her making mistakes and I had to keep asking her to schedule all my follow up appointments.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Lighthall and his team are amazing !! Always so welcoming and friendly. I have always left the them feeling better . The wait is maybe 10 min at the most . Business feels like it is run very well. Super organized, thorough and clean . Those is the location to visit !!

Negative experience: I wish I had never gone here. Been waiting to post a review till I was able to get my teeth checked by another dentist. I've been in pain since Dr. Lighthall worked on my molars two months ago, He's the roughest dentist I've ever been too, which was hard enough but I thought if he did a good job I could push through that! I've been waiting to get more work done after the pain wore off of these teeth he worked on, but it's gotten so much worse. I have been in so much pain the past few days I can't sleep. I went into a different Comfort Dental fearing I might have an infection. The doctor was shocked at how much of my teeth had been drilled out, he thought that I had temporary crowns. But no. He said that I have nerve damage on the teeth that were worked on by Dr. Lighthall, and referred me out to an Endodontist to get root canals done ON THE TEETH I ALREADY WENT THROUGH SO MUCH WITH. I'm extremely depressed, and looking at spending a few thousand in cash just to have the teeth I already had worked on fixed again. I'm living on pain meds till I can get in, and even that's not helping. I heard nothing but positive reviews about Dr. Bo, and asked about switching, but was told by the front desk lady that that's not allowed. Very disappointed, would not recommend at all.

Fantastic experience: A vacation mishap produced a cracked bridge along with discomfort and apprehension. Returning home hoping to get a dental appointment on such short notice would be iffy. But, not with Dr. Bo (Bogopane) at Comfort Dental on Coors. He made sure to fit me into his busy schedule. I was unusually nervous at the next appointment - really for no reason because Dr. Bo is always comforting. His assistant, Chelsy was kind, knowledgeable and patient as she explained each step of her care. Both, Dr. Bo and Chelsy performed a tedious and lengthy treatment with special care. At 75 yrs old, I can say that I have found Dr. Bo to be the best Dentist I have ever had. I am truly grateful to have found him and his staff!

Negative experience: I made appointments for my three babies, 3, and 2 that are 1 year old. I made it on time at 7:30 AM. By 9:15, we still weren't seen. The process shouldn't take so long if the dentist is just going to look at my boys for a quick minute and then walk away. I don't appreciate the long wait and extremely fast visit.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist ever!!!! It is a great office.. all the girls thru out the facility in their jobs are so sweet and kind.. AND DR LIGHTHALL is the BEST… you will love him and the other dentist and the whole faculty. I totally recommend them.. Comfort Dental on Coors and Irving.. behind the Taco Bell

Negative experience: I sat there for over an hour and there was a girl with her father she was sick and coughing all over the place! Gross guzzling her snot more gross and I asked the receptionist why it was taking so long she claimed I didn't sign in I told her I did! She said that they forgot me because of a shift change and that shed tell them to get me back there right away sure she didn't tell me she sat back down at her desk I had to take 4 antibiotics before my procedure waste of antibiotics I left never got my teeth cleaned just RUDE what happened! So tanks for wasting my time and gas and antibiotics!

Fantastic experience: Dr Bo and his team did a great job on my emergency tooth pain and plan which included an immediate extraction and future implant. In the past Dr Bo performed an expert root canal. Full service dentist. I've now had both an implant and root canal performed at the Cottonwood facility. Expert and professional service at a reasonable cost and less expensive than other traditional dental practices.

Fantastic experience: I've had a lot of different experiences with dentists, good, bad and horrific. I don't have good teeth, due to both genetics and neglect. I've had at times gone years between treatments when I haven't had money or health insurance. And my pain threshold is accursedly low. I don't try to be a difficult patient - I try NOT to be - but I know I'm a challenge. And I've had numerous dentists jerk me around, refuse treatment I signed up for, abandon procedures halfway through, skimp on anesthetic ... so I'm not the most trusting soul. I came to Comfort Dental on a Thursday after work, with no appointment, due to an abscess I needed to deal with immediately. The staff was professional and didn't over-promise. The assistant listened to my concerns. Dr. Lighthall was very tolerant of my white-knuckled howls of pain and need for extra anesthetic. They worked quickly and took care of the offending tooth and the infection thoroughly. They were even able to advise me regarding the possibility of implants. Even as a walk-in with a difficult issue, I was done in under two hours. And the next day, I'm almost completely pain-free. I could not ask for a better experience, given the circumstances, than what I got from Dr. Lighthall and Comfort Dental. I will definitely be returning.

Positive experience: Working with Dr Bo. Awesome. But when he is gone I had half fast adjustments on my dentures. It was causing a lot of pain. After researching around other dentists sent me videos on how a proper adjustment should done. While my Dr was out, I did not have a proper adjustment done. I did complain and once Dr Bo returned he saw to it that I get a proper adjustment. Out come. I did walk away happy today. But 3 adjustments in my first week was uncalled for. This is coming from other dentist . Thank you Bo. I appreciate everything

Negative experience: Front desk has been very short and snappy with patients every time I visit. Not welcoming at all. It’s also very frustrating that you have to wait an hour before being seen as a new patient. My appointment was at 9 and I wasn’t in the chair until 950. New patients also are told they cannot get a cleaning, so you have to take off work or make time for two separate visits. Lastly, 20 X-rays is a LOT for a new patient, and I believe it’s because they have not upgraded their equipment to use a scanner vs all those bite-wing X-rays. One pro: Dr. Beau is amazing, especially with kids! The snippy response that didn’t address the customer service made me lower the review.

Fantastic experience: Originally I scheduled an appointment for Saturday unfortunately I was in extreme pain yesterday and was told by the staff at the ER that two of my teeth were decaying and I needed to go to the dentist as soon as possible. I called and asked if they by chance had any openings the ladies at the front desk asked the dentist and told me I can come in right then. I didn’t have to wait long at all considering I was told they had a pretty full schedule. They got me in and told me that a root canal is needed and that he wanted to get it done that day for me & he did. I was extremely worried about feeling him working in my mouth due to past experiences he checked on me multiple times & when I did start to feel it he immediately stopped and numbed my mouth overall it was probably one of the best dentist trips.

Fantastic experience: Staff is very professional and caring; Sierra did an excellent job of making sure I was comfortable in the process. My regular cleaning determined that I had a small cavity which I was able to get scheduled to fill the next day.

Positive experience: Music TOO loud in rooms and not in Anyway calming Dental assistant was very soft spoken and could not be understood with her mask on . Wait between polishing and other services uncomfortably long with no information on timing

Negative experience: Updating my review because I had dental problems since coming here. Dr. Lighthall saw me and “redid” a filling I had, he left a hole in the middle of my molar. I went back in to get it “repaired” he said it was normal to have sensitivity on the tooth after the filling which I had. Fast forward 6 months I went to a different dentist, and surprise! the tooth he redid had been leaking which caused a deeper cavity. Do yourself a favor and go to a different dentist.

Negative experience: Worst customer service. Been there twice and the times my daughter and I have been there the front office staff didn’t acknowledge us, just stared not even a hello or welcome. But the 3 people that came walking in she was happy to help. Hate to say but must of been an ethnicity situation. But for the most part back staff are always friendly. Front staff need to do better.

Negative experience: WORST DENTAL EXPERIENCE EVER!! If I could leave 0 stars I would. Dr. Lighthall was unnecessarily rough during the numbing process. When he started to pull my back molar he popped off my crown from the tooth next to it and hurriedly put it back on (backwards I might add) and didn't say anything about it until I asked him if he put my crown back on. The infected tooth he pulled was a tooth he put a filling in 6 months ago. I will never come back to this place. Wish I would have read the reviews before coming here. On a side note...the assistant he had helping him was very sweet and understanding.

Kudos to his assistants Marisol and Adriana they did a great job in making me feel comfortable being there for the first time and taken care of. Fantastic experience: Love Dr. Lighthall. Extracted a molar on Friday and I had no issues on Saturday. Pretty much pain free. No pain meds needed after friday at all. I had frito pie for lunch and spaghetti for dinner. Pleased as heck.
