Positive experience: I took my daughter in for gum recession. They had requested and received her x-rays from her general dentist and orthodontist office, which were taken (and paid for) within the last 6 months, then had her do another of the same x-ray in office. The lack of pricing transparency cost me DOUBLE what I was expecting to pay. I understood I would be paying a general amount (out of pocket) when I made the appointment, and wasn’t told until after the appointment was completed the full amount I would have to pay, and the x-ray taken in office told us no new information related to her gum recession. Though the office is very clean, and staff are very friendly, greater communication efforts should be made as far as making sure self pay patients know exactly what fees they will be charged PRIOR to the appointment. Most places will list it out on paper before you even go back to see the doctor.

Laura was wonderful-- she explained exactly what she would be doing every step of the way. Dr. Campbell is incredible! He made me feel very comfortable and clearly explained everything he was doing so I felt informed and at ease. The level of comfort in their office was unmatched. Even the treatment coordinator, Jen, was great and got me an immediate appointment, which is always a plus. The extraction was necessary in order for me to be properly fitted for invisalign braces in the coming week. This is exemplified by the excellent treatment that is not only provided during an office visit but also includes the personal follow up call after a surgical procedure.

Totally in shock and blindsided by the need for this procedure, I really had no idea what to expect. From my initial conversation with the ladies at the front desk to schedule my consultation, to my interactions with Dr Campbell, Jen, and Joleen everything has been so comforting and easy. Jen is very thoughtful and helps so much with anything she can do to ease the burden of whatever financial cost may be needed, she’s really nice. Joleen is the absolute best! Ive had 2 procedures now and she has been there for me like a mother would. Anything I needed or any questions I’ve had she is right there on the spot. I felt like she was family from our first interaction. Dr Campbell is super cool I’ve had multiple in depth conversations about life and just random topics while getting my procedures done, and he also never hesitates to call and check on me after my procedures. This is one of the most meaningful actions throughout the entire process to me. He is really busy and still makes it his business to check in with not only me, but I’m sure all of the hundreds of customers he takes day to day. Fantastic experience: I went 45 years without having any sort of dental procedure done, no cavities or anything major only cleanings, so I had no idea what to expect. I had a cracked molar that developed an abscess and had no choice but to remove the tooth. I met with Dr. Patel and her staff and they were absolutely wonderful. Today I had the surgery and everything went as smooth as could be. My comfort was their priority and that goes a really long way. Thank you so much to all the staff for taking care of me. Negative experience: Just can’t recommend. They do NOT process insurance claims… they will submit the claim, but then you are left fighting the Insurance Company for reimbursement. My November 17th was required to be paid in full, of which I did. As of December 23, I still do not have payment. My insurance company did not process the payment properly… so, after not receiving it, I had to get involved… absolutely unacceptable to me… Lakeland Periodontics decided to make their customers deal with insurance companies so they don’t have to… FINE, I will find some other Periodontist who processes the claim the traditional way. You should consider this as well, since your out of pocket is THOUSANDS.
