Fantastic experience: Always so friendly an amazing with my kids ! We love going, my babies always leave happy! Appointment are fast and easy to make! The texting service they have available when they aren’t able to answer right away is so awesome I love it! Helps me out soo much with since I can’t always call when I’m on the go or at work! The place so welcoming and fun for the kids! They have been our number one choice dentist in the southside area, been going since my oldest was 6 months old , hes 10 now and my other kids are going now too, I have 4 total and I get to take them all there! SSCD is Such An amazing place I would definitely recommend to any parent looking for a dentist for your young child and are uneasy about where they would be most comfortable! The service is speedy as well forgot to mention that! Thank you for all that y’all do for my family!! Y’all are an amazing team keep up the amazing job!! ❤️

Fantastic experience: I keep entertaining the idea of switching dental offices because this one is far from my house. But every time we come I'm reminded why I don't switch. The staff has always been friendly; I don't have trouble with scheduling; the facility is so clean even down to the fish tanks...which are numerous and create a joyful experience for my kids. My number one reason for staying tho is Dr Mohammad. He is so friendly and energetic and explains everything so clearly.

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my grandkids to Southside Children Dental for over 14 years and never never have we ever had a negative experience. My grandchildren love THEIR Dr Scott Hebert. They are always excited when we drive up and they tell everyone about their favorite place. We rate them a huge 10!!

As a child, I had always had a great experience as I grew up seeing Dr. Hebert and visiting Southside Children’s Dental Center for all of my dental needs and now that I have my own child it makes me very happy to say that my daughter loves visiting this wonderful establishment as well. I am so ecstatic that I am able to continue coming to this establishment as an adult now that it is a children’s, orthodontic, AND family dental center. From the children’s center, to the orthodontic center, and now to the family center, I have experienced nothing but exceptional services and care here. Also, the entire facility has always been VERY clean and welcoming and I will continue to recommend this establishment to all of my family and friends!✨

Negative experience: The wait is so long. They tell us to be here at 2:00 and we don’t get seen till almost 3. This happens every single time.

Fantastic experience: We've been going to Southside children's dental center my whole life and since I was 6 months old and I have 2 older brothers and they went since they went we're 6 months old so thats over 25 years of making me felling like family great dentists and their staff that have given me and my younger brother and sister and the city of san Antonio great dental experiences.

Fantastic experience: My grandson had an appointment today with Dr. Mohammad. The Dr. was very good and patient with my grandson. My grandson is autistic and put up a fight to not have his teeth checked. The staff is very nice and professional. The clinic was very clean. 10/10 experience

Kids absolutely feel safe and have no fear of dentist and it’s because of the staff at Southside children’s dental center . I can’t thank them enough for the friendliness and absolute dedication to making kids their priority . All four of my kids love it there and I have all ages of kids 4yr old , 5 yr old 9yr old and 11yr old . And all of them look forward to seeing the dentist. Best place to take children. Thank you again everyone . We appreciate all that you do to make our kids experience at the dentist as great as it has been . We love you all .

Positive experience: This is the second time they overlook my daughter's name and not call us into the ortho appointment. They are not willing to apologize for their mistake and think it's ok to just say that they're waiting for a chair to open up. Waiting an hour after appointment time is not ok.

Fantastic experience: This 3yr old had a blast at the dentist. Her second time getting a big kid cleaning and this time she was able to do the whole cleaning. They were even able to do bite wing X-rays which most children her age won’t do. So a huge applause to the dental assistant for being patient with my daughter and making it fun for her.

I have gone to other clinics around the area and i was not satisfied with the service. At southside childrens dental center you have all you need, no need to go anywhere else for your needs. Its a one stop shop! If you’re looking for a dentist for your child; definitely recommend southside childrens dental center.

They also love the goodies that they give them after each visit aswell as the fish tanks thru out the facility.

The staff takes really good care of our beautiful children and family ❤️ I like to take my granddaughters there for there dentist appointments there is only one thing missing from that dentist office maybe movies so the children can see and to fix the games that they have there already. Other dentist's offices provide a lot of different things for the children to do while waiting.

Negative experience: This place isn’t worried about your child’s care, they’re just trying to get people in and out as quick as they can. I will start looking for a new Dentist for my kids. Communication here is horrible. 0-None. Assistants are rude even to the kids. Also My child needs work done on his teeth and the next available appointment from today (03/06/25) is October 15, 2025 that’s ridiculous

The children love him! He talks to and answers all their questions. Will continue coming here and will always recommend!

Fantastic experience: Taking my children here for about 18 years. Excellent staff. Dr Hebert is cheerful, patient, informed n very caring. His staff is very loyal with a lot being there since the Beginning. My daughter saw Ms Pat today and had a great visit. This is the cleanest n most up to date office you'll ever see in SA. The exterior looks basic because the $$__ is spent on the business inside.

Love the atmosphere and the attention to detail. Today was my daughter’s last visit in the children’s side which was bittersweet. But such a milestone. Thanks for taking care of my kids teeth for 18 years! Hopefully we can find affordable insurance in this ridiculous economy to be able to continue to return as adults! (But that’s a different story lol)

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience. They were so good with my son who was so afraid. Like to the point where he was crying and screaming not wanting to be seen and they were so good with him and took it slow and easy. They made sure he was comfortable and explained everything to him so he wasn’t scared. Super great, friendly staff. Super clean place also. So happy we found such a great dentist for our kiddos!! Fantastic experience: I’ve had nothing but a positive experience every time I show up for my dental visit. From the front desk to the assistants, Dr, back staff, it’s always a pleasant visit. Dr. Olea has been my dentist for 13 long years now and he’s the best !! And recently my hygienist David has been the most sweetest and kind. He knows I have a neck issue and is always so patient and makes sure I’m comfortable while he does my cleaning. Also, Andrea the assistant was also very kind. I’ll forever recommend Southside Dentistry for your dental needs. You will definitely be treated with compassion.

Fantastic experience: As a mama of 5 sons I will forever be grateful to Dr. Hebert and his great team of dental providers and staff from the children's department to the family department and also orthodontics care all of this team is super amazing. Through many years of only receiving care for my children here I can honestly say I've never had any issues with the love and care my children receive. My eldest 31 now still remembers his dental visits with much joy. Early prevention is the best prevention and a positive first visit is very important to the visits that come afterwards. Fantastic experience: The staff is always polite and greet you as they call your name . The doctors listen to your concerns and explain the area problem. The hygienist always explains to my daughter what her care will consist of, explains what she does before hand, and answers any questions that she might have regarding her cleaning.

Fantastic experience: My 6 and 3 year old love this office. My 6 year old has a lot of anxiety, speech delay and sensory issues and they are all so patient with her. I do appreciate that.... my 3 year old has a speech delay and they make her feel so confident. Both my girls leave soooo happy and confident!! I leave feeling assured that both my babies teeth are in tip top shape. Thank you to the check- in desk as well. The “Vegas” man always helps me with my insurance process.
