Positive experience: I have been visiting the clinic, it is good but they usually have to do several X-Ray tries before they get what is needed and if you have emergency their process is cumbersome. I had tooth break and they found appointment in two days only to tell me my tooth is broke and I need appointment to do filling which is in a week or two

We always strive to make every visit as smooth and comfortable as possible. In some cases, capturing X-rays can be a bit more challenging depending on positioning or comfort, but our team works with care and patience to ensure accurate diagnostics with minimal retakes.
As for emergency visits, we understand how important timely care is. While we do our best to get patients seen quickly, we don’t guarantee same-day treatment until we’ve had the chance to properly evaluate the issue and determine the best course of action. This allows us to schedule the right amount of time and provide the highest quality care.

Negative experience: My name is caroline and I had an appointment today at 2:20. Got here on time and did not get seated in a room until 3:03. Please keep in mind I am cash paying and prior to coming for my appointment I was told that my cost would be $150. When I finally get in the chair the dentist comes and puts a light in my mouth and within seconds left. Just for his team to come and tell me that on top of the $150 there’s a $75 evaluation fee, making my total cost $225. I asked if the evaluation fee was the 9 seconds the dentist looked in my mouth and she said yes. I left. I left angry because not only was I told an inaccurate price, they took time away from me I will not get back. A place that waste your precious time, is a place I will never recommend.

Fantastic experience: First time coming here and I don’t know why it took me so long! Staff are friendly and kept me updated on everything that was going on. I absolutely loved the music selection which helped me forget about my tooth ache. I was able to get a treatment plan and will be going back the next day to get my first dental procedure. Fantastic experience: Dr. Jamali and her assistant are amazing. I needed to replace a bridge that was bothering me and eventually fell out. Half of each tooth was gone. It took 2.5 hours and not one bit of pain! I didn't even feel the numbing needle. I'll be seeing Dr. Jamali for all my dental needs in the future!

Negative experience: I contacted Fossum Family Dental Care a few weeks ago as a possible new dental office. Melissa was friendly & answered my questions. I sent the office several emails the next few weeks requesting information, etc. & NEVER received a response. I had to send a 2nd email or call the office to obtain the info. I spoke to Mikaila a few times & didn't find her very friendly. They have 3 employees receiving calls. Is anyone checking emails? I received a text the night before my appointment to complete 5 forms. The appointment was scheduled 1.5 weeks ago. Why wasn't my insurance confirmed & the forms sent out earlier? I'll continue my search for a dental office in the Katy/Richmond area who has employees who provide excellent customer service & reply to emails from their customers! I don't recommend based on my experience!

Regarding the forms, we send them out at the time of scheduling and follow up with a reminder if they aren’t completed. We apologize if this caused any confusion or inconvenience. As for pricing and insurance verification, our office believes that the doctor needs to perform a comprehensive exam and evaluation during the initial visit in order to provide accurate estimates for treatment, which is why we do not share prices or codes beforehand.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was friendly and professional right from my first call to the office to schedule a new patient appointment. The Front Desk made everything easy and answered all my questions. The Hygienist greeted me and took me back explaining everything along the way while also taking the time to get to know me. Fantastic experience: First time patient. When I called and told them my tooth was causing a lot of pain they saw me the same day. Dr. Fossum diagnosed the problem very quickly and scheduled me for a procedure to fix it the next day. My tooth feels great now. Staff is friendly and efficient. Dr. Fossum is awesome.

Negative experience: Not happy with service at all at this location today I had a visit January 10th 2025 when I got there for the first time I told the young lady I left my wallet at the house she said no problem. I had a photocopy of my driver's license in my phone which I was able to fill out the paperwork. After being seen for hour and a half the young lady Melissa walks up and says your payment is $30 I kindly said do you guys do cash app or zelle because I left my wallet at the house. She said no we can do Apple pay only I call my wife she didn't answer so I can get a credit card. After she didn't answer I kindly got up and left over $30 which I could have paid once I got back home but the lady Melissa denied me Services over $30.

Negative experience: my daughter had trauma when last seen by DR Kennedy. She was very rude on how she spoke with my daughter, it’s not her tone but her insensitive words. Fantastic experience: Was not happy with my current dentist and after several friends switched to Fossum Dental and highly recommended them, I made an appointment. i was very happy with the practice, I was taken back just shortly after being checked in. Deana was my dental hygienist, she was very nice and I was impressed with her thoroughness, she made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Fossum was very good, the entire experience was great. Positive experience: Ok this is my honest opinion, Dr Fossum is very good but I will stop going to Fossum due to today’s bad cleaning experience . Generally speaking, Ms. Kellie is technically a skilled hygienist , she did few works for me but her today’s behavior was very rude and unprofessional as I declined X-ray. She then made big fuzz about me being late. I personally believe , your patient comes to you because they trust you so please don't break that trust for any reason.

Fantastic experience: I gave Fossum Dental a 5 star rating and it was well deserved! I have not been to the dentist in a couple of years, since my dentist retired. I have severe anxiety when it comes to dentists and was afraid to try a new one! The office staff were so friendly. Heidi was my heigenist and she was amazing! She explained to me everything she was doing and made me feel at ease! The TV on the ceiling with cute animal shows was genius! My dentist was very thorough and explained what needed to be done. I was given a treatment plan and did not feel pressured. My treatment plan included my out of pocket cost and what insurance covers. I was able to schedule treatment for next week and will schedule other treatment down the road! Thank you Fossum Dental, y’all are amazing!

Fantastic experience: Every time I go, everyone is very nice. When I come in the door, they smile and say hello. I never have to wait. I have had two different dental hygienists, Rachel & Katie!! They are so nice and so professional.They answer all of the questions that I have. The dentists, Dr. Kennedy and Dr. Fossum, are also nice and very professional!
