Negative experience: Took two months to get caps for 2 front teeth right, dentist was very judgy and acted as if I was made of money. Terrible experience and I recommend nobody ever go here

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. I came in that morning without an appointment, told the front office staff what I was needing done, filled out my paperwork, and in a few minutes they called me back to start my evaluation. Everyone from the front office staff to the dental assistants and the dentist himself were fantastic and extremely helpful. I was needing a damaged wisdom tooth extracted and they were able to do that without causing me any pain. They had the tooth out in a matter of minutes. I feel so much better already and am super thankful for their work.

Negative experience: Filled online form out to start getting an appointment made. Its been over a week. I finally got a text from them aug 27, asking for photos of my insurance card to be run. No one texts back. Extremely disappointed. Will update. Update: I left the review and was immediately given a call and text. I was told that I provided a health insurance card and not a dental card. Fair. But I was ignored and that is not the professional way to handle clients. Pitential clients should be given instruction if something is needed. Not ignored. I will be leaving this as is for future clients wishing to work with regal.

Fantastic experience: I had my teeth cleaned by Taylor at Regal Valley Dental. I have a sensitivity problem with my teeth even in cleaning. Taylor did such a careful and professional job. I would definitely recommend Regal Valley Dental.

Fantastic experience: Not only are they so accommodating to their patients needs but they are so fun to talk to. I was so nervous for my extraction because I wasnt going to be put under for it but the assistant i had and Dr. Amazon were AMAZING! The assistant helped calm my nerves down with ease and let me tell you about their front desk people. SO nice, So friendly, and ALWAYS HAS A SMILE! They explained payments with me very throughly and made sure I understood everything! This place is awesome!

Negative experience: I’ve been to this dentist office multiple times, and while the staff is generally polite, the wait times are consistently frustrating. Every appointment, I’m left waiting over an hour past my scheduled time, even when I arrive early. The office is overly aggressive about confirming appointments, threatening cancellation if you don’t respond promptly, yet they fail to respect patients’ time by keeping things on schedule. This lack of efficiency and consideration makes it hard to recommend their services.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I was encouraged about my oral hygiene instead of being scolded. Also they just put a watch on a tooth instead of recommending filling it right away which shows me I don't think they are doing unnecessary treatments.

Fantastic experience: Went in because a tooth was bothering me and found out it was a wisdom tooth that needed pulled. They were able to squeeze me in same-day and it didn’t take very long! One of the best doctors visits I’ve had!

Positive experience: Dentists and hygentist are awesome. The manager wants to fill your mouth with crowns. Plus, you'll get to pay for any of their scew ups.

Negative experience: Dr Wen wasn't confident in treating a fractured crown and said I'd probably get a better result else where and denied to treat a crown replacement for me Also, I have NEVER been to an office that makes the patient wait to be brought out to the front desk. They actually go on the intercom to announce your name and that they're bringing you to the front desk. Go figure that one out.

Negative experience: My experience with regal vally was not pleasant. Their diagnosis was partially correct but not full. I had an absest on my gums and both the doctor and hygienist said I did not need an antibiotic. They charged me 295 dollars and wanted to do a deep cleaning costing 2600 dollars. I got a second opinion and the antibiotics I needed from another dental company and the cleaning at a much better cost. They simply wanted money I feel and not to actually help my situation. When I talked to Managment they refused a refund and defended how I was not given a script to take care of infection. I will not be returning here.

Once you are scheduled and they have an opening they call you right away. And the staff is very informative and let you know step by step what going to happen and what they think is best for you to have a healthy mouth. If you are looking for a dentist place and you are in the Lafayette area I promise you, you will not be disappointed. 1000000/10

Negative experience: I wish I was able to provide a better rating but unfortunately I’m not. I started going there recently and had my first visit and was given a treatment plan and was told that “they don’t know what my insurance will cover” so they gave me an out of pocket estimate of almost $2k. I went in last week for my deep cleaning and was told I had to pay $580 for the visit WITHOUT actually billing my claims to insurance. It’s super weird to me how they can say “we don’t know what your insurance will cover” and then make me pay out of pocket without billing my insurance. We don’t do that in healthcare, we bill insurance first before billing a patient. I called to ask if they were in network with Anthem HIP as was told they’re not in network so I said I’d have to look around for a new dentist who is in network as I’m not sure who can afford $2k in dental work and the lady I spoke with RUDELY said “I will cancel all of your future appointments” and hung up. I really enjoyed this place until they became sketchy with charging me out of pocket before billing my insurance.

Negative experience: I made an appointment to see the dentist and it was over a week out, but that was ok. I made it for 11 o'clock and was there by 10: 45 only to find out they gave my appointment to someone else. I didn't have answering machine and I didn't know I had to verify my appointment if I was keeping my appointment. I have spent thousands of dollars at that facility only to have lost my appointment because I couldn't tell them I was keeping my long awaited time slot. Time to find another dentist.

Negative experience: They have rescheduled my appointments three times then when I try to reschedule them they are eight months out its mind blowing 8 months out!!! Don’t ask me what day works best for me when the day doesn’t work for you. When I schedule my next appointment, I’m gonna ask them. What day works good for you guys. Hopefully then they won’t reschedule me again and I won’t have to wait a year to get back in.

Fantastic experience: This is the best experience I ever had at a dentist office. I have a fear of needles and getting my wisdom teeth out. Dr. Wen did amazing when I had to get numb for my filling and Dr. Amazon made me feel comfortable and removed two of my wisdom teeth so quickly I blinked and it was over. All the staff is super nice the assistant helping Dr.Wen was also very nice and made sure to check on me to make sure I was okay through my session. I would definitely refer anyone looking for a dentist to them.

Fantastic experience: I messed up my scheduled procedure where I was to have sedation and decided to do my procedure not sedated. They were wonderful in trying to make me as comfortable as possible. They provided a blanket and a stress ball. They walked me through every step during the process and checked in on how I was doing. They were positive throughout the whole procedure and afterward. I would recommend them for family and friends.

Fantastic experience: I didn’t know what to expect or how I would be greeted. I am very comfortable meeting people and engaging in conversation and I try hard to listen to the other person. But the Staff here made me feel very welcome! I was blessed by the concern you all greeted me with, and it was necessary for me to come back, later in the day, and I was again greeted with; “Hi Tom, glad to see you again.” What hospitality!! And then the care I was given was exceptional, even pointing to a concern noticed when my Xray was read. And you even forwarded the Xray to my PCP for follow up at my next appointment. Thank you.

Negative experience: Just switched to this dentist due to insurance. They require a 48 hour notice to cancel my appt and they fine you if you don’t but they call me 45 mins prior to my appt to cancel mine like it’s no big deal. Ridiculous!!

Fantastic experience: From the first visit, this dentist has been great. Last week, my son went for the first time to the dentist, and when we got back into the room, he turned to me and said,”Mom, are they always this nice?” From the receptionist to the hygienist to the dentist, everyone here is always very pleasant, kind, and seems genuinely happy to be there. It makes the Dental experience much more enjoyable. My entire family goes to the dentist, and I am very happy that we found them.

Negative experience: They do not return calls even from their answering service and they blame it on their answering service even though I left 7 messages directly at the office with no return call in December. January 2025 they had over billed the insurance company. Regal Valley tried to convince me that my insurance company is at fault. Not true! this is the second time it’s happened. February 2025 they now have a bill of $200 for me. I called my insurance company and discovered that they overbilled again & my Insurance company refused to pay it so now I have a $200 bill. Regal valley immediately contacted me when they said I had a bill due. Very sketchy practices going on here. Do not go here. Find a reputable dental company who has your best interest in mind and won’t lie to you while they’re smiling in your face and trying to convince you that it’s always somebody else’s fault and never theirs.

Fantastic experience: Regal Valley Dental is great! All members of the stuff that I have come in contact with are friendly. I never have an issue with getting an appointment. I also have never felt belittled by the Dentist either when I first started going and I knew my oral hygiene wasn't the greatest due to cost of going to a dentist when we couldn't afford it.

Fantastic experience: I have to say I am so terrified when I walked in there to get a cap on my tooth. But Dr. Bachman was amazing and so was his nurse. The shot is what scares me. He told me to breath and it was done. Seriously that quick. Never felt anything. I wanted the tooth pulled, but Dr. Bachman said tooth is good save it. So happy I did. I will keep going to him. The staff the office and nurses are also amazing. Please do not worry. Best dentist in town.

Negative experience: After establishing my elderly Mother as a patient here for over a year. I'm disappointed for her that the dentist refused to REFILL her nightly mouthwash that helps with the sores in her mouth. (Caused by a autoimmune disease) I specifically took the bottle with us at her last visit in December 24. He witnessed a sore at that time, called in the prescription. Now, it's time to refill and he claims he only agreed to fill it that one time!! Aggravating! May not seem like a big deal to anyone but my elderly Mother who will suffer until I can get her prescription called in by her primary. I will find her a dentist with some compassion.

Fantastic experience: I’ll start by saying i despise dental work. I don’t like getting it done and going to the dentist is an appointment i dread. That said, the team here is outstanding. I drive over an hour to go here because they take great care and are very caring with my teeth and care in general. Highly recommend giving them a chance if you are in search of a new dentist!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with the staff and Dr. Bachman! I went in for my 6 months teeth cleaning and I had chipped my tooth this summer, and they fixed my chipped tooth at the same time. Now I am looking good again!

Fantastic experience: I called on a Sunday night and I was in the chair Monday morning for an extraction. Dr. Bachmann and Dr. Amazon were absolutely incredible and did a fantastic job of making me feel comfortable. When I left after the extraction I was offered and accepted a steak taco and chips and queso! Fantastic dentistry! 10/10

Negative experience: I had a SCHEDULED ortho appointment at 2pm today and they gave my appointment away because I didn’t confirm. They went on to tell me they have a wait list and since I didn’t confirm they went to the next person. That’s not my problem!! I have been going to ortho appointments once a month for months to get new trays because I have Invisalign! So why would I not show up for my appointment! Thanks a bunch for taking up 2 of my days!

Negative experience: After my last visit I told myself I wouldn’t go back. But I received an email stating if you scheduled a visit in the month of Dec the exam would be free and you’d get a free whitener. I scheduled. The hygienist did the cleaning then did a cancer screening. The dentist came in and as I knew would happen they suggested thousands of dollars of work. I simply declined. I went to the front desk to check out and was told it was $78 for today’s visit. I told her my exam was supposed to be free (and I have dental insurance that can be billed). She then tells me the cancer screening isn’t covered by insurance. I told her I should have had this explained to me and be allowed to make the decision. She said she would notate my chart for in the future. I told her I’ve had this cancer screening before and wasn’t charged. She looked it up and said I had different insurance then and they covered it. I was irate. It may not be a big deal for some people but $78 for me before Christmas is huge. I will not be back. This is why I quit going to them to begin with. I feel that they get you in there and then upcharge and/or tell you that you need tons of work.

Negative experience: Went for the regular dental cleaning. It was my first visit. I asked them if they are in-network with my insurance and they said yes. After the visit, they charged me $105. They said some the things are not covered by insurance. They didn't tell me anything while they were performing the service. Today, i got another e-mail to pay $55. They should have told the patient before they do anything. Not everyone can afford the surprise bill.

Negative experience: They worked very efficiently and were friendly. But, they also called and verified my insurance before I went back only to later call me and tell me it isn't actually accepted and still want to charge me. Recommendation: if you are unsure and they say it's covered, don't take their word for it. But hey, the Doctor and Hygienists are good.

I've tried dental offices all over town, and this is by far the best office in the area. All the staff at Regal Valley are great! They are always kind and courteous. They take time to explain everything... and I seriously think they strive to send you out the door with a smile. Their prices are very reasonable... and even better with insurance!

Negative experience: They will not disclose everything you need till you get to the scheduling, you’ll be surprise how many tooth “NEEDS” to be done. Last month I got my fillings done and before I left the clinic I PAID my “patient responsible” and a month later they sent me a bill and I called and asked them on why I’m getting billed for the procedure that I already paid for and they said somehow my insurance does not cover 100% of the “silver fillings” which they could have add it to my bill in the first place during my visit or they could have informed me in multiple ways before the procedure that there will be another partial fee that I will be responsible for, not a month later. The treatment plan that they give is not the final bill. This tactic is clearly to trick people and getting them to the procedure and not telling them there will be more “patient responsible”

Fantastic experience: I felt comfortable immediately. And when checking in I was addressed very friendly and professionally. I didn’t have to wait long at all about 5 minutes, and I was brought into the back rooms. The dentist was friendly and personable. He addressed all my concerns and was very knowledgeable in his field of dentistry. I honestly can’t think of one reason to not choose Valley Dental to complete my dentures. I’m looking forward to it.
