Fantastic experience: Our 4-year-old daughter, Zoey, has special needs and required general anesthesia for extensive dental work today. I cannot thank this team enough for the care, compassion, and kindness they showed her throughout the entire process. Brittany, Dr. Mega, and Dr. Lee were truly angels on earth. We had tried several dentists in the past, but with Zoey’s autism, dental visits were always overwhelming and we could never find the right fit—until now. This team made what once felt impossible not only manageable but a positive experience. If you’re considering where to take your child, don’t think twice—this is absolutely the place you want to be. We are beyond grateful for each and every one of you.

Fantastic experience: Working with the KidzDent team, especially Dr Ilona, has been a game changing experience for my son. Through their care and thoughtful planning, they got him to go from not opening his mouth or sitting in a chair during appointments, to participating in all areas of his oral hygiene at home and in the office. He even dances through the office now when we are there. They take care of him with a kindness and compassion that I wish was shown to him in all areas of his life. This is the only Google review I’ve ever written. But that’s how impressed I have been by our experience at this office.

Fantastic experience: We highly recommend KidZdent Old Bridge!!! We first found this location via Google search when our 2 yo was diagnosed with Autism and Sensory Integration Disorder. The location is clean and very family friendly. The staff is full of personable and compassionate people. They helped us understand our dental insurance and made frequent appointments with our son to condition him for having others work in his mouth. With the help of Dr. Ilona and Miss Irene, our now 3 yo is a champion at cleaning his mouth and keeping his teeth healthy. Then, my 10yo daughter needed an orthodontist and her dentist recommended KidZdent!!! She loves it so much at KidZdent that she wants to switch dentists. It has been such a great experience for both dentistry and orthodontist that we highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: We had an amazing experience at KidzDent Old Bridge for our 3 weeks old son frenectomy. The office was welcoming, clean, which made the entire process so much smoother. The service and professionalism here are truly top-notch. Dr. Lirie is hands down the best professional we’ve ever met - knowledgeable, compassionate, and incredibly thorough. The procedure was explained in detail during the consultation, and it was done immediately after with precision and care. Fantastic experience: Just had my first visit with them and my kids (age 5 and 6) had their first dentist visit ever. From the first phone call to confirm insurance to the warm check-in process, everything felt organized and welcoming. Fantastic experience: I'd give them 10 stars if i could. My son has been a patient at Kidzdent since he's a baby due to an unfortunate fall - he is now 21 years old. His special needs posed a challenge for many years and Dr. Brundsen handled Mikey with a kindness unlike any other. Through the years new dentists and techs have worked on Mikey and he has overcome his fear and walks in there every six months with his head held high knowing he will be treated like the VIP that he is and will not feel pain. His hygienist did a fabulous job and my son really liked her and the new dentist. I'm sorry i forgot names. Thank you Kidzdent for a most fabulous experience!!

Negative experience: For almost a year, every time I came for my son's appointment, he was late to get him in. They don't keep their appointments, and I've talked to them a lot. Every time we come, people come after us, and they get them in before us, and the situation has become very annoying... Now, we have to wait half an hour for my son's appointment. I will look for another doctor for my son... I will wait until my son is finished with his braces. Only a few weeks left and I will go to another clinic that respects appointments, knowing that they are not cheap, they are very, very expensive

Fantastic experience: LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr Lieri and Bridget who works as her assistant are amazing. My son had tongue, lip and cheek tie an we went in, did the therapy that we needed to do, had the procedure and we are on our way to healing. They are so loving and have great toys/prizes for the kids. I cannot recommend Dr Lieri enough. You will be in the best hands.

Fantastic experience: It’s been a while since my consultation, but I kept meaning to leave this review, and Nikki Brown-Abair definitely deserves it. From the start, the staff was pleasant and welcoming, and the dentist who saw me was incredibly informative. But Nikki was the standout. I’ve never had anyone break things down the way she did. She walked me through every option, explained what questions I should be asking at each specialist’s office, and made sure I felt prepared and informed. She was relatable, personable, and clearly knows her stuff. I walked out of that office feeling confident about my next steps, and that’s 100% because of Nikki. Her team should be proud to have someone like her leading the way. Thank you, Nikki!

Like what office calls to say the dr is running 15 mins behind if you want to come in that 15 mins later so your wait isn't long? Exactly none! Kidzdent is the best! Aetna will only cover my kids till they're 7! I hope they change that because as long as Dr.Mega is working there will will never leave. She is just amazing! You won't be disappointed!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Well-deserved 5 stars! Today, my 2-year-old had a dental emergency. She’s never been to a dentist before. I called a local office—one that everyone swears by, “Star Dentist in Manalapan”—and was told they wouldn’t take her because she wasn’t an existing patient. She’s 2. In pain. Fever for 4 days. Swollen gums and white spots in her mouth. How is that not reason enough? Frustrated, I turned to the Bad Moms of Marlboro Facebook group, asking for pediatric dentist recommendations. Within minutes, Jessica from KidZdent reached out and assured me they’d take her immediately. She understood the urgency and made sure we were seen same-day. From the moment we arrived, the care was beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. Jessica and Dr. Mega were amazing. They greeted my daughter warmly, gave her stickers and bracelets, and made her feel at ease. While she played with the nurse, Dr. Mega took time to talk with me—really listened—to understand exactly what was going on. When it was time for the exam, my daughter felt so comfortable, she let Dr. Mega examine her without fear, giggling the whole time. Every single person we interacted with was kind, patient, and smiling. I told everyone I spoke to: I have never had such a positive experience at a pediatric office. The attention to detail, the genuine care, the way they treated both my daughter and me—it was incredible. Yes, it’s a little expensive out of pocket, but it is 100% worth every penny. Fantastic experience: My kids and I love KidzDent. They cater so well to children, explaining every step that is going to occur, showing the children the instruments and allowing them to feel them and ask questions if they have any. They also use language that kids understand and give “prizes” at the end of the visit. I’m so glad I found this dental office - my children look forward to going to the dentist!!

Negative experience: First experience with my 15 month old daughter was not pleasant . As soon as we got there they said she had a tongue tie and mouth tie . They immediately said she needed therapy and possible surgery for 2 procedures and were guick to submit paperwork for insurance . We went to our pediatritian and he said there is no tongue tie and very minor mouth tie which most likely will resolve on its own . Very unhappy with approach .

Negative experience: At our first appointment, they immediately said my son had a tongue tie and needed therapy and a procedure for it immediately. I thankfully sought a second opinion and felt kidzdent really pushed scheduling therapy, even sharing my contact info with a therapist. Thankfully it was a very very minor tie and resolved itself naturally without any medical intervention. I’ve since heard they tend to push tongue tie procedures. Other than that, very clean office and the staff were very good with my two year old. Unfortunately they have lost my trust in their professional opinion moving forward.

The orthodontics are wonderful also!! We just had to put a separator in and the coordination of both KidZdent and Family orthodontics has been seamless and easy. They are terrific!!

Negative experience: Patient termination of services was done poorly. I have a son with disabilities that had been a patient since about 2009. He now has “adult teeth” as stated by the dentist. He was told last week that they would no longer see him which left me scrabbling to find another dental provider as he needed work done on a tooth. I wish they would’ve said something at his last cleaning 3 months ago about discontinuing treatment services so I could’ve better prepared. Up until then the services were okay.

Fantastic experience: Always a great experience! My 4 year old did so well with her first time X-ray. She saw her adult teeth under her baby teeth. Hygienist explained everything, informed her not to worry if her teeth become loose. She was so excited. Dr told her to keep up the good work! Keep brushing her teeth and make sure to floss the back teeth. Today she’s making sure she is flossing the back of her teeth. She’ll say Mommy help me please! As I’m helping her She said the Dr is going to be so happy with our next 6 month checkup. She loves her sparkle smile! And ready for her next appointment!

Fantastic experience: We just had new veneers put in for Luke! It has changed his appearance completely. He is a new child. He had his front teeth knocked out a few years back. They bonded them but he was never happy. His self confidence is incredible now. It is a complete transformation!! Thank you so much for the beautiful work that Dr. Lirie did for him. Negative experience: Not only ridiculously aggressive in their treatment plan for my 3 year old but also incorrect. Super glad I trusted my gut and saw 3 other dentists after their proposed plan.

Fantastic experience: We’ve gone to KidzDent for about two years now. In that beginning I was very concerned that my son would never get comfortable in the dentist chair. With the teams patience in dealing with my sons anxiety he is now able to receive dental care comfortably and is not longer anxious to see the dentist and in fact looks forward to it. I’d recommend this dental office and staff to any parent who has a child with special needs and requires extra care and patience from the doctor to get the services they need.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience today with our newborn with Dr. Lirie for a lip/tongue/cheek tie release. The whole staff was wonderful including the receptionist (I believe her name was Brittany) who helped with our toddler while we were having a consultation before the procedure. Dr. Lirie was patient, kind & extremely informative. We are so glad we heard about KidZdent through a local mom FB group. We now know why they had raving reviews!

I was nervous to take him but my mind was blown at how well he cooperated! The hygienist was so sweet to him and politely explained everything she was going to do by using all of the dental tools on his hand first. Fantastic experience: Dr. Justin and all staff very helpful and professional for our son's first visit. Dr. Justin did an extraordinary job in the dental exam of our teenage special needs son - he somehow managed against many odds to defuse the situation and perform the necessary examination.

Negative experience: I’m actually very bummed at how we ended up here and this review. We have been coming to KidZdent for almost 5 years and have been happy with KidZdent. Our latest visit totally changed my mind, to the point we left the practice and joined a new facility. Both my daughter and my son were there for their cleaning (which we keep up with regularly) and at the end of the cleaning, I was told that my 4 year old son had 4 cavities, a tongue tie, restricted breathing, possible speech delay, and a dark front tooth. I was then told my 7 year old daughter also had a cavity, and for years prior we were told she had a lip tie. I never did anything about the alleged lip tie because her pediatrician respectfully disagreed year after year. But like clock work, I was always given pamphlets and paperwork to get her lip tie fixed along with the text messages to follow up and make sure I found someone to correct her lip tie . We have also never missed a wellness visit, so to hear that my son suddenly had a tongue tie was a shock, along with the 4 cavities. I felt so defeated walking out of there. I had a feeling in my gut to get a second opinion so I did. It turns out my son had NO cavities, no tongue tie, and a normal front tooth. My daughter also did not have a cavity. I’m honestly so upset because we liked Kidzdent. The faculty and doctors were always nice and my kids felt comfortable there. But I cannot bring myself to bring them back knowing I was going have to pay for 4 fillings and have 4 year old endure the procedures of 4 fillings to which I was quoted over 1,500 dollars for, one filling in a 7 year old, and the stress of thinking my son was going to have a speech delay due to a tongue tie that didn’t exist. I really am sorry this all happened, but sadly this is where we ended up.

Fantastic experience: My son has Autism and has been going to Kidzdent since the age of five. He is now seventeen. The staff there are friendly and all of the hygienist who have worked with him have been wonderful. They knew from the beginning how to work with my son and now my son is a pro and absolutely loves going there. I highly recommend you bring your child there.

Fantastic experience: My son always has the best experiences at this office. I have been bringing him since he was 1 and now he is 9 years old. We drive quite a distance but I can't imagine taking him anywhere else. KidZdent takes the fear out of dental visits. Every single person that we see in this office from the women at the front desk to the hygienists and all the doctors, they are all amazing. We saw Irene and Dr. Ilona and they were terrific! He left the office with tons of prizes and sticker's . My son gets alot of staining on his teeth from medication and whenever I bring him he leaves with his bright white smile. Thanks again for top notch service, as always

Negative experience: We will never go to this clinic again. I read good reviews and decided to treat and put a crown on my child tooth. Dr. Ilona treated a tooth for which we paid $1,100. in cash. After the treatment, inflammation immediately set in and the child suffered. They said now we need to remove this tooth. Why did we pay so much money and in the end lost a tooth???There are unprofessionals working here who just want money that we never got back.

Fantastic experience: The staff is sooo friendly. The dr was amazing with my son who was extremely nervous about his situation. The dr made him feel super at ease and not worried about the upcoming procedure.

Fantastic experience: I don’t leave reviews often but I have to commend Dr. Lierie. She lasered my infant’s oral ties (tongue, lips, and 1 cheek) due to severe reflux/fussiness. He was only 8 weeks old and I was very nervous. She was extremely kind, patient and caring. She schedules in person follow-ups (which I know many other dentists will tell you to just send in a picture which is just absurd to me). She always took her time and told me to call with any issues. If you are thinking about oral tie release, do not second guess. Dr. Lierie is amazing! We saw instant improvement with bottle feeding (as we do not BF) and improvement with fussiness caused by inhalation of air due to a poor latch. I suggest anyone doing this to also see an OT for oral motor exercises to help your baby learn to use their new tongue. We did both and our baby has made such progress. Thank you Dr. Lierie!!!

Fantastic experience: KidzDent is a practice that fully understands special needs kids and works with them to make the experience less scary for kids and their parents alike. We saw Dr Hillary at our most recent appointment and we were able to successfully complete a check up, teeth cleaning and fluoride treatment for my little guy (8, non-verbal, ASD). Dr Hillary was so kind, caring and patient as she worked with him and explained what she was doing including him touching certain instruments with his finger to understand they are not scary and they will create a sensation. The appointment went really well considering I was concerned my son may need to be sedated to do what some may consider something “routine” and we all got through it with our nerves still intact and a positive experience. Besides dad and I helping keep him in place a bit, he needed no additional interventions. Thank you, Dr Hillary. You are truly amazing and we are so fortunate you are at KidzDent. As a parent of a kiddo significantly impacted by autism and delays who cannot verbalize when he is scared or how he is feeling, you listened to his language and were present with him and tried to make the experience a good one for him. The Assistant was also terrific. Update: since our initial visit we have continued to have frequent dental exams to stay on top of my kiddo’s dental health after several teeth needed to come out..and we also needed to address tongue, buckle and lip ties. We are so fortunate to have the care of Dr L who was the dental surgeon for the work he had done as well as being part of his regular care team. I truly cannot say enough good things about the entire group at KidzDent!

Fantastic experience: One of the best children's dentists in the area. They are very patient and sensitive to my son's needs. Therefore he build trust and positive experience to look forward to the next visit. He finally got an x ray done standing still after 7 yrs of trying to do it.

Fantastic experience: they are always so nice to my son! he’s scared, and the hygienist always goes out of her way to explain each tool and calls them cute names! he gets to pick his toothpaste flavor and they give little prizes after, they take their time and they’re patient, they give explanations for everything and tips and tricks to help at home with brushing, we were in a private room today because he was a little crazy last time which was nice because i think it helped him be more calm, we’ve been going here for years :)

Fantastic experience: The time and patience that the staff has for my daughter is just wonderful. Today was the first time we met Irene. She was an absolute angel with my girl. She made her feel so comfortable during her cleaning.

Positive experience: First off let me start by saying I love this office . I came here with my oldest and have always shared my experiences with others prompting them to want to come. Therefore, when my current 4yr old was having problems I called again. We had prompt scheduling and everything was perfect until…. Today during a filling my son began crying and said he was scared . The female dentist then told him if he didn’t be quiet she was going to make mommy leave the room repeatedly. I told her that comment wasn’t going to work. As a mental health therapist and special ed teacher I couldn’t believe a child dentist who specializes in working with all types of children would make a statement like that . I only gave 3 stars because of what I felt was a lack of empathy and compassion. Going to the dentist has always been a great experience for him and today he and I both were a left upset. I personally was offended by the comment and pray it’s never said again to a child in pain or in fear .

Fantastic experience: Both of my daughters visited kidzdent for the first time today and they had an amazing experience. Mrs. Irene was incredible! She was super patient and very thorough. My daughter is always super anxious about the dentist however, was able to calm her down and walk her through the visit. Alicia and Nicole are very pleasant as well and their follow up is on point! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Positive experience: The dentist is very helpful and kind with the kids and their approach is gentle. It’s easy to get an appointment when you need it. Clean office. There is no long wait time to be seen. Very pricey for someone paying out of pocket. They do offer a payment plan which is helpful but you need to give them a large down payment for them to begin the work. If you are doing a payment plan you can’t pay them cash. You must agree to have a credit card or debit card on file so they can automatically bill you every month until the balance is satisfied. They don’t take insurance. I went to another dentist recently and found out that I was overcharged for procedures at Kidzdent and some procedures were not actually necessary but Kidzdent convinced me they were. If you don’t mind paying more for each procedure, it’s a great place to go.

Fantastic experience: The staff is superb. Our 5 year old daughter loves going to the dentist because of how accommodating, friendly and welcoming the staff is.

Fantastic experience: My sons first experience at KidZDent was amazing ! He is nonverbal and very apprehensive at doctors offices. The hygienist knew exactly what to do to make him feel comfortable while cleaning his teeth. I cannot express how relieved I felt walking out knowing that I finally found a dentist that truly understands the intricacies of special needs children
