Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient of the Feather Touch Dentist office at Colony Square dating back to 2007. This is my first ever review. Dr’s Shah and Kim are exceptional in every way one would want their ideal dentist to be. Not only is their knowledge and skill exceptional, but their patient engagement and genuine attentiveness is truly best in class. When I go I have always felt like I was the most important patient of the day…my concerns and issues are always heard and thoroughly explored. Not once have I ever felt rushed or dismissed. But beyond doctors Shah and Kim… the entire staff is equally exceptional and skilled. From dental assistants to the hygienists to the office team for scheduling and billing. Once again… they too have always treated me with best in class skill, professionalism, personal attentiveness and courtesy. Every person on the team exemplifies a culture of patient care and satisfaction. It’s clearly an office wide priority and they always deliver. I’ve never heard anyone excited about a trip to the dentist. But if you want exceptional personal care and attention from every person the moment you first walk in the door…I cannot give a higher recommendation than Feather Touch.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Feather Touch Dental Care by a family member when we moved to Atlanta. The office is in a very convenient location. Everybody in the office is very kind. The dental care is very thorough and everything is explained very well. Nobody really looks forward to going to the dentist, but Feather Touch is as good a dental experience as you will find. I have been going to Feather Touch for several years now and recently had to have 2 fillings replaced. Both Dr. Kim and his assistant checked with me frequently to make sure I was ok, they finished in less than an hour, answered all my questions, my numbness wore off by lunch time and it was like it had never happened. That is the absolute best you can hope for with dental work. I will add that the office is very transparent about pricing and provides detailed written estimates.

Fantastic experience: Feather touch Dental is a top notch dental office! Dr. Shah ensures a personal touch for his clients. We are given flowers at the end of our appointments. They have warm scented towels. On my last visit I picked up my teeth whitening kit. They suggested that I keep it refrigerated for maximum results. They provided me with a ice pack to keep it cold until I got home. I will never forget the painless shots. I just remember feeling my mouth getting numb with no pain at all! They make sure that they have the latest technology. Dr. Shah is also always in continuing education glasses. You will not be disappointed! They validate parking as well! Fantastic experience: Very impressed with Dr Shahs work. Got a chipped tooth fixed and I didn’t feel a thing. I hadn’t realized that he had already given me the novocain shot. Fantastic experience: 10/10 experience from the minute I walked in. Front desk staff were so friendly! The hygienist, Maile was the absolute best! She made me feel right at home and made me feel comfortable talking to her about my teeth and overall oral health. Maile was so personable. She didn’t judge me for my bad habits either! She gave me ways to fix it and on top of the that, REALLY CLEANED my teeth. A deep cleaning I would say. Oh the best part, they had a freaking TV on the ceiling for you to watch while getting serviced. I watched Netflix all while laying down comfortably getting my teeth serviced. I have never been to a dentist office like this before. 10/10 experience.

Fantastic experience: Dr Neal Shah was highly recommended by my periodontist and I have been super happy with him and the entire staff at Feathertouch. Everyone is always courteous and professional. Laura did a very thorough job cleaning my teeth. Dr Shah did beautiful work replacing a few old fillings and crowning a tooth. I highly recommend this team.

She has complex health and mobility issues and was so anxious about having to get some necessary dental work done. Dr. Kim couldn’t have been more professional, kind, and gentle. The team at Feathertouch is kind and you can tell they truly care about the health of your teeth. From routine cleanings to other types of procedures, I’ve done it all. Fantastic experience: I’m so pleased, I went there after having a horrible experience at another dentist office. The staff there was so incredibly kind, they had at least 6 or so different anxiety aids offered complimentary. They all introduced themselves and shook my hand. Their service was so thorough I actually learned about my teeth, they did services that I’ve never seen other dentists or dental hygienists do before. I was honestly feeling so warm by the time I left there I got choked up a little. I highly recommend coming here if you don’t have insurance. They are the best and I can’t wait to go back. Back to loving the dentist again after my bad experience! They really care about people here! Update: I had more dental work done there and they are literally magical. I don't know how, but I hardly felt anything they were doing! It was just downright pleasant! No hidden costs and I left with full size complementary products for my teeth!

I appreciate the amount of time they took to introduce me to the staff, walk me through the process for my scans, and taking the time to go over them with me. I've never been to a dentist that's so attentive and empathetic. I had some fillings done and it was the smoothest experience ever. Dr. Shah even called afterward to make sure I was okay! Fantastic experience: I am terrified of going to the dentist, and really put off going for quite some time. Some friends recommended Feather Touch and I can't stop singing their praises! I had to have a painful procedure done and was a bundle of nerves, but each and every person there is so soothing, they don't shame you about not having been to a dentist in a while, and they do everything they can to make you comfortable and let you know that they are genuinely happy that you have come in. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone. I'm stunned with how comfortable I was in their office, and am actually looking forward to going back, which I never thought I would say about a dentist!!

They were incredibly patient as I had a challenging time figuring out parking because my truck didn’t fit in the parking garage. Despite being about 20 minutes late to my appointment, they still saw me! The temporary tooth broke of - but they dealt with it quickly and got me in on an emergency visit and got it fixed with new temporary. Love the staff they are so nice - even gave me flowers - LOL

While I appreciate your effort to accommodate patients, mentioning coming in on your day off feels irrelevant and dismissive. Unfortunately, your reply comes across as defensive and lacks acknowledgment of the misdiagnosis and the unnecessary treatment plan, which could have caused significant financial and physical stress for my daughter. My review is based on facts verified by another dentist and a specialist (Endodontist). I hope this feedback encourages your office to prioritize accurate diagnostics and patient-centered care in the future. Happy Holidays! Be Cautious: Misdiagnosis Due to Lack of Expertise at This Office I trusted this dental office based on great reviews and its inclusion in my insurance network, but they misdiagnosed my 19-year-old daughter, who is away at college. She woke up with tooth pain and was able to get a same-day appointment. Despite only having one cavity in her life and none on the tooth that had pain, the dentist claimed she had a cracked tooth and needed a root canal after taking X-rays. They insisted she would also need a crown, which is not universally true. In fact, I’ve personally had a molar root canal restored with just a filling. The office seemed eager to push the root canal and even printed out the costs for her crown, which is costly; a big win for the dental office rignt! To make matters worse, they referred her to an Endodontist who wasn’t in our insurance network. This raised concerns that their referral practices might be financially motivated. Thankfully, my daughter found an in-network Endodontist who confirmed she did not need a root canal. Later, during her routine biannual cleaning at her regular dentist, the truth came out. Without the dentist knowing about the previous visit, her dentist found no evidence of a crack or infection near the bone, just a small chip. He stated that since her pain subsided and the scans showed no issues, there was no reason to be alarmed. I can only imagine what would have happened to my daughter if I wasn't there to guide her. I will never recommend or allow my daughter to visit this dental office—or any dentist in Georgia—again. Their lack of expertise and questionable practices have shaken my trust.

Fantastic experience: Dr Kim is extremely good at what he does, and I never fret coming to the office, it’s practically pain free. He’s kind, caring, and works hard to find the best solutions. I have a chipped front tooth that previously was fixed by a different dentist who used a mental pin to hold it in place. Dr Kim has done a phenomenal job of covering the prior visible pin. It now looks aesthetically beautiful and matches the rest of the teeth beautifully. I’ve been a patient of Dr Kim’s for over a year. He’s redone all of my crowns as well as a few more procedures that have come up throughout the year, including sending me to a great specialist for an emergency root-canal tooth extractions for a same-day procedure. The whole office has always been kind and helpful and I don’t even think twice of where to go if I need a dental procedure or cleaning done. Feather Touch Dental is amazing and I recommend them!

I left my previous practice because it felt like a factory – I was just a number, with no personalized care. However, Feather Touch Dental Care, which I found on Google, provided top-tier service from the moment I called. I don’t usually remember names, but the service was so personalized that I have to mention Jasmine at the front desk. She contacted me multiple times to help with scheduling, made sure my dental records were transferred over, and even explained my expected co-pay in advance. Her assistance made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Lora, the dental hygienist, was also outstanding. She’s easily the most personable and friendly office professional I’ve encountered since moving to Georgia in 2021. She explained every step of the cleaning process, answered all my questions thoroughly, and even took the time to chat with me about my son and schools. Since I have a torn ACL, she made sure I was comfortable throughout the visit, which I truly appreciated. The dentist was equally impressive. He carefully explained the exam results and provided clear recommendations for both me and my son. Their use of advanced technology was far better than what I experienced at my previous office, and it really stood out. As a bonus, they give you a nice swag bag with a personalized tumbler when you leave. My son especially loved the waiting room, which had waters and snacks – his personal highlight! Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience at Feather Touch Dental with hygienist Mailee and Dr. Shah. I had previously been with my previous dentist since I was a very young kid so this experience was nerve-racking for me. Everyone on the team was so helpful from scheduling my consultation, directions to the office, and my deep cleaning. Mailee, the dental hygienist that took care of me was phenomenal. So bubbly and interactive, she even wrapped me up in a soft blanket/pillow and put Netflix on the ceiling projector to watch Top Chef during my cleaning (too sweet). Dr. Shah was very honest and thorough about my teeth/smile. You can tell that he is an expert in his field, and wants to help the patient achieve their smile/teeth goals for longevity. I was very impressed with the technology used at this office. Can't wait for my next visit!

Fantastic experience: Feather Touch Dental hands down delivers the best dental experience that I have ever experienced. Dr. Kim and his staff are so caring and intentional about ensuring that you feel safe and cared for. They constantly accommodate each patient with comfort including little details such as providing healthy drinks and snacks in the lobby, Bluetooth headphones - allowing your favorite music to calm you, asking how you are feeling throughout the process instead of powering through with touching base and providing chapstick to prevent dry lips. I mean feather touch treats you better than family. They will wrap you in a blanket to keep you warm in the office. Whatever they can do to accommodate you and give you the best experience l, they will try to do it. I fly to Atlanta from Texas for every appointment because they have set the bar so high when it comes to service. Their technology for numbing gums is incredible. I truly don’t believe that I can find this level of service anywhere else. Feather Touch is the Chick-fila of Dentistry! I always leave feeling loved and cared for, you feel it from the people at the front desk (love you Tiffany!) to the exam room. Ms Gina and Dr. Kim are a dream! Every person is just amazing!

I was initially seen by Dr. Kim for a second opinion on a dental procedure that my previous dentist was unable to complete after several months of failed attempts. Dr. Kim’s office scheduled my consultation quickly and Dr. Kim was able to expeditiously address and correct my issue with a fantastic result. When I walked out that day, not only were my teeth intact, but I also had a clear plan for a lasting solution. This has been, without a doubt, the best dental experience I've ever had. Negative experience: Was considering professional teeth whitening before an important event and saw this practice was nearby and had good reviews -- spent more than half the day having calls with the receptionist and later a dental assistant, both of whom quoted a "promotion" rate of $476 for the in office whitening treatment (plus $90 or so additional for take home touch up trays according to the receptionist, while the dental assistant said the trays were included in the total price). When I was about to finalize the appointment but asked about total cost, they then added a "consult" fee from the dentist that the receptionist first quoted at about $250, which then was quoted before insurance as $151. Kicker is that then she said she misquoted the price for the whitening and quoted almost twice as much as she (and the dental assistant) had quoted. She did apologize and said she is new but with that many various quotes from two people there, my trust was completely lost. As a lawyer whose partner specializes in healthcare law, it's extremely important to ask billing questions and feel confident you are working with a reputable provider.

Fantastic experience: I love Feather Touch! Everyone working there from the receptionists to the hygienists to the dentists are friendly, passionate, patient, and caring. I got fillings today and was impressed by the lack of pain (even from anesthesia). I was given a pop-it to keep my nerves down and hands busy and headphones so I could listen to BTS instead of drilling sounds. Dr. Kim answered all my questions afterward, and while I didn't need so much validation after the procedure, it was nice to know it went well.

Fantastic experience: I have always had a positive experience here! The team really exceeded my expectations when I was having a lot of pain after a getting a crown. They immediately got me into a referral that very same day and made sure everything worked out through the rest of my treatment and made sure I was doing well. They are incredibly gentle, communicate very well, and work really hard to respond to dental emergencies quickly. I just can’t say enough about this practice. Fantastic experience: Feather touch dental help with an emergency dental issue I had occur this week with urgency, kindness, and knowledge. They were able to get me in same day, source and assess the issue. They talk me through all my options on what was needed to be done and what my insurance covers which I love because they were so detailed I didn’t feel lost or confused. I ended need a crown,root canal and a wisdom tooth extracted. Dr. Shah was so nice been explaining everything that going to be done and how he was going to do it and they aren’t laying when they feather touch! They take their time when handling you and the pain was barely noticeable in the time that they’re doing their Procedure.

Dr. Kim is by far the best dentist I have even been to. He takes his time and actually listens to what you need. Fantastic experience: Feather Touch and Dr. Shah specifically really do their very best to get it right. They are innovative, patient-centered, and make things right if things don’t go exactly as expected. That’s really all you can ask for. I ask Dr Shah questions to understand his plan for my orthodontics and how it’s working, and he always takes the time to answer them. The staff also make sure to carefully execute the plan, double-checking to be sure instead of just going through the motions. As a former owner of a professional services business, I can tell this is a very healthy business with a happy team and subsequently happy patients.

Fantastic experience: My best friend referred me here after seeing Dr. Kim for a while. I have lived with dental anxiety, and had put off this appointment for way too long. To start, the staff is amazing. It’s the first time in my life I’ve experienced the level of care at ANY medical or dental facility. From the front desk staff, assistants, and hygienist, 5/5 stars. Fantastic experience: I hadn’t been to the dentist in… a while. So I ended up needing a crown after I earned myself a root canal. I have - or suppose now I should say had - an ever increasing fear of the dentist + compiled with the fact I had become very delinquent with my dental visits, I was absolutely dreading everything about this. After reading wonderful reviews about Dr. Shah and his team, I reluctantly had my appointment. He could not have been more delightful — there was never judgment or condescension about my dental health and my comfort was top priority and always at the forefront of every step. Not only that, his staff are so lovely! Shout to Tiffany & Aubrey who are so sweet and friendly when calling to make appointments or to discuss fun insurance. They absolutely light up when seeing them in person, making you feel so welcome. As a testament to how smooth everything went, I’ve scheduled more treatments upon our discussion of my dental plan going forward; it’s obvious Dr. Shah is dedicated in building lifelong patients with his patience, precision, and empathy. Fantastic experience: I love it here! So I’m adulting and finding my primary dentist/doctors office was overwhelming. I was going through most reviews and because of the location and endless praise I decided to go with Feather Touch. My first appt was amazing staff/teamwork (Jacqueline+ clarified) I can tell they genuinely care about their patients. Very detailed, gentle, and informed me throughout the process. My hygienist love her! Miley was also amazing she was funny, light, informative and gave great recommendations. Aubrey was amazing she took her time and gave me options and clarified EVERY concern I had. Kim is great, great team no complaints! Appt two and I feel well taken care of! Fantastic experience: I had the best experience with this office. I took my elderly mom there to have an evaluation of her options given she has several teeth missing or which are failing. The staff was beyond nice and very patient. Dr. Kim was extremely nice and thoughtful in accessing her situation and giving options. I felt everyone we encountered seemed to care about making sure we were taken care of. On top f that, they gave my mom flowers when we left! Who does that?? I cannot say enough positive about this practice. I was very pleased with my visit!

Fantastic experience: I got some dental procedures done and all has been going very well and extremely smoothly so far. They’re very flexible with my indecision which I appreciate. Felt literally nothing but pressure throughout the entire procedure, even the needle to get numbed didn’t really hurt somehow, and it’s been between an hour or two after and the numbness is already completely gone and I’m able to freely proceed with my day as if I didn’t just have my teeth drilled at for 90 minutes. A little on the pricier side I think but I am not exaggerating when I say I did not know it was possible for major dental work like this to go so smoothly, and pain free. Furthermore, I deeply appreciate Dr. Kim, Tia and any other staff who have helped me with getting what I have done thus far in such little time!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Feather Touch for about 1 year and cannot say enough good things! I fell over the weekend about a year ago and broke my tooth. My husband reached out to the office and got an immediate response from Dr. Shah on a Saturday. He saw me on Monday and took immediate care of me and adjusted the tooth so that you couldn’t tell at all! After that, I proceeded with ortho (Invisalign-type product) with them and have been very happy with both the product AND care. The staff are all very kind and supportive. I now go there for my hygiene/cleaning appointments also. My husband also does the same! We can’t say enough great things about our favorite dentist, located in Midtown Atlanta at Colony Square!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kim is a great dentist who clearly cares about his patients. He takes time to listen to my concerns, trouble-shoots the problem, suggests ways to proceed and explains each treatment step to put me at ease. He repeatedly has freed up time to see me on short notice, has provided a useful referral for an endodontist and then seen me for a follow-up visit. He also cares about the less fortunate and, on a recent trip of mine to a less developed country, his office donated a substantial amount of dental supplies for me to distribute abroad.

Fantastic experience: I started going to Feather Touch 5 years ago and even through the madness of covid, they never cease to amaze me. Every person is SO friendly and welcoming from the moment you walk in. I have been offered chap stick in case my lips are dry, a neck pillow, Bose headphones, eye protection, a warm towel when you leave. The list goes on and on. They have created a culture and experience that makes going to the dentist tolerable and even low key enjoyable. It will likely cost you more than the common dentist but it's worth every penny in my opinion.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to share our amazing experience with Feather Touch Dental. My 15 year old needed some teeth bonded and our orthodontist recommended Dr. Shah at Feather Touch. From our first visit, the entire staff was so welcoming, helpful and informative. Dr Shah had great ideas to help Caroline achieve the perfect smile and laid out a great plan of action.
