Fantastic experience: I hate going to the dentist! Dr. Woodfield is great he made me feel comfortable. I have been going to Killeen Dental for many years . I have been with Jennifer for teeth cleaning for the whole time as well. Jennifer is the BEST Hygienist!!! Today I also had x rays done by Jennifer's wonderful assistant Yudith , she did my x rays perfect on the 1st try ! She was able to assist Jennifer and had things done before even being asked . I need an assistant like Yudith! I recommend anyone looking for a great dentist and friendly staff, to come to Killeen Dental!

Fantastic experience: I had dental surgery and it was pretty bad and painful. Dr Whitfield and Christina were awesome. He didn’t sugar coat it and did say I would be very uncomfortable for a good while. I didn’t feel anything during the surgery. I would recommend this dentist and the staff. I liked that he apologized for the pain this would cause, but the surgery was necessary.

This is important to me since I suffer from anxiety due to past visits with dentists and from being in the military.. One thing that I like about this clinic, they do everything in one facility.. no more being referred to other clinics for different procedures.. Thank you God for this clinic..

Negative experience: I’ve been a loyal patient at Killeen Dental for over 20 years—longer than most of the current staff and dentists. During that time, I’ve seen many changes, but my most recent visit was disappointing enough that I felt compelled to leave a review. For the first time ever, I was given a treatment quote, which I signed. However, upon checkout, I was informed that the cost was over $125 more than what I had agreed to. When I asked for clarification, the explanation I received was vague and frankly, unreasonable. After having to raise my concerns twice, the office did eventually honor the original quote and covered the difference due to errors on their part. I appreciated that, but the situation should not have escalated to that point in the first place. My appointment was scheduled for 3:00 PM for a routine cleaning and crown placement. I didn’t leave until 6:00 PM—three hours later—for a procedure that should have taken no more than an hour and a half. That’s simply too long, and a sign that better scheduling or workflow practices are needed. My biggest issue is with how my insurance coverage was handled. Procedures that weren’t covered by my plan were completed without my prior knowledge or consent, and I was then expected to pay for them. This lack of communication directly contributed to the billing confusion. My recommendation to the practice: take more detailed notes during consultations and review them carefully before beginning treatment. Clear and accurate communication with patients about what’s being done—and what it will cost—is essential to maintaining trust. While I’m grateful that the billing issue was eventually resolved, the overall experience was frustrating and far from what I’ve come to expect from Killeen Dental.

Fantastic experience: Everyone encountered was very professional. My dental hygienist Megan did a amazing job on my teeth cleaning and explaining what needed to done and why. Dr Woodfield and Elisha were excellent with fixing my cavities.

Fantastic experience: I set an appointment for an emergency root canal a few weeks back and was very nervous about the procedure. However, I left with a literal smile on my face and was extremely surprised at how UNpainful the entire process was including the next following days. I came back today to get the permanent crown installed, and again left completely satisfied. Dr. Woodfield and his staff are great. No long waits. And the environment itself made me feel more at ease. I will be using this office for any future dental needs for sure.

Negative experience: It's sad how one bad apple can ruin an experience. Everything about this place was literally perfect until the finance person came in. I need full dentures top and bottom, I came in for a free consultation, xrays, and quote. I was told implants are pretty much my only option. I knew that going in for the consult so no big deal outside of minor disappointment internally. So moving on to price quote. Let me start by saying I have Delta Dental with a $5000 allowance, on top of their service discounts etc. For dentures and Implants they do provide coverage of 40-60%. Well the finance person comes in and hands me a single piece of paper. He starts to explain that they do things differently there. That they do not quote implants through insurance due to it usually being way more and they do a "Self-pay inhouse discounted plan". I asked if he could go through my insurance multiple times and each time he just tried to create fear by saying" I could, but by the time i went line by line this would be 30k+". Well if thats true I want to see it lol. After the 3rd time asking about insurance quotes and getting the run around I gave up and left. I was forced to sign the inhouse quote in spite of not wanting to AND this in house self pay quote is nothing, It has no actual line items just a total cost. In addition, This is in VIOLATION of the No Surprises Act that was passed Federally in 2022 that states all providers including dentist when giving self pay options those must include: A full list of services to be preformed, associated charge codes that would be used, Line by line cost breakdowns, and constant information for disputes. An example is as you will see "Immediate Dentures" are on there. WHY?!?!? I already have a set and they don't work, the dentist explicitly stated immediate will not work and I will need full implants. I didn't even get a chance to ask this because as soon as i started analyzing the document further the finance person said " Clearly you will need some time, I guess you want to leave" As you will see by the attachment this document covers NONE OF THAT. I am extremely upset as my wife uses this same dentist and has had zero issues with these guys. Her estimated cost go through insurance no problem. This is a clear effort to hide cost, and not go through insurance when being asked for by a potential client. I then left the office and tried to call in to speak to the manager only to find out it was also lunch hour. So maybe this is just a case of this finance person wanting to get to lunch and not do what was ask / required by law. What the Dentist Is Legally Required to Provide: When you request a GFE, the dental office must provide this in writing, either paper or electronically: Requirement Description 1. List of expected services Each procedure/item clearly listed (e.g., exam, X-ray, filling). 2. Procedure codes Such as CDT (dental procedure codes) or CPT (if applicable). 3. Cost estimates Dollar amount for each service and total expected charges. 4. Provider info Dentist's name, address, contact number. 5. Patient info Your name, DOB, service date. 6. Dispute resolution info How to file a complaint if the actual charges are $400+ more than the estimate.

Fantastic experience: Another great dental appointment. Staff are always friendly and helpful. I always get thorough feedback about my teeth from my hygienist and the dentist. They are always willing to answer any questions and share their recommendations in a professional manner without being pushy.

Fantastic experience: I called Killeen Dental Health Friday morning to try to get an appointment for my husband, his tooth broke Thurs night. The lady that answered the phone was so sweet and got my husband in right away. My husband was so impressed with everyone at the office and had no anxiety what so ever. He said they were very nice and so welcoming. He is changing from his regular dentist to them from now on.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience. Drove from Waco to be seen. Felt welcomed the moment we got there. My son needed more work than expected and they were very nice and informative. Took their time with him so he wasn’t nervous. Really appreciate the care we received.

Negative experience: I had my fillings done back in February, and while the dentist and dental assistant were both great, I’ve had a very frustrating experience with the billing and insurance side of things. After 90 days, I received an email with a balance due because my insurance had rejected the claim. No one from the office ever contacted me to explain why I was being billed. I hate leaving negative reviews, especially when the clinical care was excellent but this situation has been very disappointing. I called my insurance, and they informed me that no appeal had been filed. I asked if I could do it myself, but they said no, the appeal needs to come from the provider. I spent the last two weeks going back and forth between the office and my insurance company, trying to make sure an appeal would be submitted. Today is 6/12, and still, no appeal has been filed. My insurance said they could issue payment if an appeal is submitted. When I asked your office about this, I was told that it wouldn’t allow you to appeal. I even asked if you had tried calling the insurance company directly, but you admitted you hadn’t called them at all, not even once. Is this really how you take care of your patients? It comes across as careless, and honestly, it feels like no one wanted to make the effort to help. I understand the amount I have paid isn’t big, but it’s the principle that matters. Patients should be able to rely on their provider to help navigate insurance issues not be left to make multiple calls themselves just to try and get some support. I’m sorry to post a negative review, but I’m truly disappointed with how this was handled.

Every time I feel like they are constantly telling you to pay for things not covered under insurance and I feel like they are constantly asking for money every time I go. It’s always something else. Negative experience: Wish I could give 0. Insanely high quote for one extraction. The dentist was hurried and sales ish. The hygienist didn't want to treat me. She seemed to take the notion as a personal insult. The bad tooth is still hanging in my mouth after all is said and done. Isn't there an oath of some sort they adhere to that is similar to medical doctors? Anyway, nope. FYI I got a quote from another dentist for approximately 10 percent of theirs. Yep, you read correctly.

Fantastic experience: I been coming to this Dentist since 2011, I used to see Katelyn and now Jennifer all my 3 Daughter and Husband come here. The staff is always professional the place is always clean bright and welcoming and all the hygienist we see are polite and do great work. They can be a little on the pricey side but we are all happy with their work.

Fantastic experience: My teenage son's appointment went absolutely flawless. He had really bad anxiety about going to the dentist based on a previous traumatizing experience from a different dental place. When we arrived in the parking lot, I thought I was going to have to throw this 290lbs, offensive lineman in a fireman hold and carry him in but luckily I bribed him with a Mountain Dew and TacoBell after his cleaning. Mary... Mary was an absolute God send. She took such great care of him and spoke to him the whole time. She went above and beyond to make his experience a pleasant one. Not only did he agree to come back to get a little work done but he also scheduled his next cleaning, of course requesting Ms Mary. This place is clean, the music is great and the staff amazingly friendly. If I could give this place 100 ⭐stars, I would!!! This is an honest review. Negative experience: Never again, worse place in Killeen. My husband went with a horrible gum infection and they did nothing; not even antibiotics that day. I called next day to ask for antibiotics because my husband was more swollen and in pain. By the time they send the prescription (after me calling a few times that morning) my husband was already been taking care by another excellent dentist here in Killeen. My husband gum was full of puss; they can't believe that my husband was seen by a dentist the day before and was send home with no treatment. Thanks God in Fusion Dental & Braces Clear Creek, they took the situation very serious and took care of my husband. Some clinics only care about money and not how dangerous an infection like my husband's can be for a patient. I recommend FUSION DENTAL & BRACES

Fantastic experience: Everyone here is so kind and patient. I have the worst anxiety and I was able to work through it! The Dentist fixed an 18 year old crown and removed an infection amazingly fast. I feel so confident in my smile.

Positive experience: Scheduled a appointment and was seen the next day. They also did my root canal procedure the same day as well. My problem started after my procedure was done, I informed the Dr and staff that I was feeling a little discomfort. They insured me that everything would be alright and the pain should go away in a little. I asked to get prescribe something for pain ,but they told me over the counter medicine should work. A few hours later the pain increases, I called back again and they told me the same thing they told me last time. As the day goes on the pain continued to increase to the point I couldn't even sleep at night. So I called in the morning to ask to be seen again cause something wasnt right something or something to relieve the pain, I was told the same thing again. So now I have to travel back to work with this pain in my mouth not knowing if something went wrong because they weren't able to see me. I wish the dr and the staff was more understanding instead stuck in their own ways and actually care about what the customer's have to say. Just because a procedure you've done turned out ok for the last patients you've seen ,and they didn't experience any pain, doesn't mean the next patients body will react the same way.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this office! First of all, Dr. Hyatt did my crown and removed the root so perfectly that he called his staff in to show them the great job he had done. Wow! Second, he is literally the only doctor I’ve ever mentioned internal tooth bleaching to (for my front root canal tooth that had turned brown) who actually knew exactly what I was talking about without me having to explain what it was! I’ve been so insecure about that tooth for so long, and Dr. Hyatt immediately understood and said he could do the procedure. He bleached it on the first try, and I’m in love with the result! My confidence feels amazing, and I just had to leave a review. I will forever recommend this office and Dr. Hyatt! Also, sidenote: my mom used to be a dental assistant here, and she never recommends the offices she’s worked for once she sees their quality up close — but she always tells me & my sisters that Dr. Hyatt is the best. And trust me, that says a lot coming from her! Thank you again, Dr. Hyatt!

Fantastic experience: Ava and Dr woodfiled were awesome! The whole team was amazing took me same day to have a tooth pulled. I had been dealing with tooth pain for months. Turns out I had a really bad infection that no other dentist seemed to catch or thought to give me antibiotics even though I am very pregnant. They really took care of me I was so nervous and they helped me stay calm. Didn’t feel a thing! Here I am just a few hours after getting my tooth pulled and I haven’t felt this good in so long! The entire staff was amazing from the front desk to the back I didn’t meet one person who didn’t care about the pain I was in.

Positive experience: The hygienist and the lady doing the X-rays were great, working with me and my very high dental anxiety. The dentist however seemed more like he was trying to make a sale when he told me I need crowns. I felt his bedside manners definitely need some work. I will be looking for a new dentist. I'm not comfortable having any needed dental work there.

Fantastic experience: Got in on the same day emergency appointment. Expecting to be referred elsewhere, I was absolutely shocked when they were able to perform a root canal on the spot. Dr. Woodfield and his team of RDA’s (Yudith and the sweetest lady I can’t seem to recall her name) were absolutely phenomenal at ensuring that I felt comfortable and at ease. Once the anesthetic wore off, it was immediate relief from the pain I had been experiencing. I feel very lucky to have found this office. They have my business from here on out. PS the office music playlist makes you want to hang out there all day long. Kudos to whoever put that together!

Fantastic experience: This was by far the most pleasant dental visit I’ve ever had which is pretty impressive, because it was also the most unpleasant. I have severe anxiety around dentists and I had to have a molar pulled and a bone graft which somehow Dr. Woodfield and Kimmy managed to knock out in 15 minutes. They made me laugh the whole time and made me totally comfortable. The whole staff was amazing and I was in and out in a flash. Highly recommend if you hate going to the dentist.

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience at this dental clinic. After my blood pressure was taken, I was told to wait for my cleaning. I waited for Nearly 35minutes without any updates, only to find out that the person who was supposed to clean my teeth had already left without informing me. No one bothered to check on me, and I only found out after asking myself. I understand that things can get busy, but respecting patients’ time is basic professionalism. A simple apology doesn’t make up for the fact that my time was completely wasted. The lack of communication and poor management make it hard for me to trust this clinic again. I will not be returning and do not recommend this place to anyone who values their time.

I had a terrible experience at another dentist and was terrified but he put all of my anxiety at ease and they were amazing at extracting my tooth. I felt no pain and they explained things thoroughly. Yudith was very nice and attentive. I definitely recommend coming here! I won’t be going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I had my first root canal with SAME DAY treatment. The amount of comfort I was in throughout the procedure put all my fears to rest. I’ve had more discomfort with cleanings elsewhere than the root canal preformed here! The four handed dentistry this office exercises is so flawless. I couldn’t imagine having work done anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit, haven’t had any work done yet. But I do have appointments scheduled. I have to say I have never felt so comfortable in a dentists office and I’ve been in many. From the front staff to the back staff I received nothing but kindness and great care. Dr. Woodfield was amazing. He gave me in depth information so that I could make decisions about my care. He gave me prices for the procedures I was looking into, never once tried to push me in any direction. Just gave me the options. I can see why this office has so many great reviews. If you want a dental office that takes time and care with you, this is it!

Fantastic experience: I can not say enough good things about my recent experience with Killeen Dental. I called with an emergency caused by botched work from another office. They were extremely kind and worked me in immediately. Dr Woodfield fixed the issue with quality care and the entire staff did their best to keep me as comfortable as possible. They kept me informed every step of the way and were overall very thorough. Big thank you to Dr. Woodfield and the entire staff!

Fantastic experience: New Dentist I am not a great fan now. I will give an honest review after procedure. My issue now it seems all he wants to do is root canals and crowns. This may be the right way but I remember crowns was not as often as repairing. I think it’s a money thing but we will see. I will get this crown, against my gut feeling. They also use 3D imaging insurance won’t pay for. I have two good insurances and still comes out of pocket. A little much, sometimes I get it, it may be the insurance trying to cut as many corners as possible. So at the end of my appointment this Dr. and the assistants at Killeen Dental are still my favorite. We have been going there at least 10 years. Good job and sorry to start off the way I did but an honest review nonetheless the less. Great job!

Fantastic experience: Cara was absolutely AMAZING!!! I hadn't had my teeth cleaned in 5 years and was a bit nervous about what was going to be found. She put me at ease immediately and was so kind! We laughed, sang, and got my teeth cleaned! When I said that she was absolutely amazing, I meant it! She is wonderful...so wonderful that I requested to see her again in 6 months!! This is by far my favorite dentist appointment and clinic!!! ✨
